MINECRAFT hATeR REACTS to EVERYTHING Minecraft for the FIRST TIME.

Well lads what’s the crack my name is dv eco welcome back to another video now today’s video is very different now you’ve probably seen the title of today’s video as well and you’re wondering why did you name it that well look i’m going to be completely honest with you

Especially if you are a minecraft fan and you got a little bit triggered by the title let me give you some context to what it means i am somebody that has never ever given minecraft a chance because i just didn’t see the appeal to the game when it was firstly hugely popular and

Everybody and their mother was talking about this game i was kind of scratching my head like why do people like this game this game looks like crap there there must be something more but as years went on and as more and more people became more talented when it came to minecraft

And the creations that you can see all over the internet i then started thinking okay maybe there is so much more to this game than i think but even at that it wasn’t enough for me to play this game it wasn’t enough to entice me

To actually give this game a go so now i’m like okay i think since it is the 11 year anniversary of minecraft i think i should do a minecraft related video so that’s what this video is today alright so you may be a hardcore minecraft fan

And you may be a fan of the channel well guess what two of your favorite things are about to join forces here today i am going to check out every single minecraft trailer that has come out or ones that are available anyway to watch on the internet and by the end of

It all i will let you know what i think about this game now i know what you’re gonna say but db geek you need to play the game to really really feel the power of what minecraft is well that’s where you guys come in i’m

Gonna give you guys a target to hit so what i want you to do and that’s including you timmy at home i see you timmy all right put down that diamond sword of yours and listen here i want you to hit that like button on this video

And let’s go for something crazy i’m thinking 5 000 likes on this video and if we hit that goal then i promise you i’m gonna finally play minecraft for the very first time live over on my twitch channel at twitch.tv dbgeek and then of course i’ll turn it

Into a video for here on youtube all that out away i’m gonna react to every minecraft trailer there is and give you guys my opinion about this game and about the trailers and what it has to offer so let’s do it all righty mad lads as you can see here

We have loads of different minecraft trailers uh 46 of them to be precise let’s watch the official trailer first will we here we go so this is this must be very old where everything is made of blocks where the only limit is your imagination let’s go wherever you want to go

Climb the tallest mountains venture down to the darkest caves build anything you want day or night rain or shine because this is the most significant sandbox you’ll ever set foot in build a majestic castle whoa invent a new machine or take a ride on a roller coaster play with friends

That was a pretty good trailer the whole concept and the idea of it is incredibly clever it’s literally a sandbox that gives you the freedom to do whatever the you want to do right so now we’re gonna watch minecraft pocket edition these are your thumbs these are my thumbs yeah that’s them

That’s them all right They now have a greater purpose minecraft no matter where you are Feel on the toilet look you can always crafts generating worlds building terrain whoa now on android what about ios all right so now you can play a minecraft on your phone while you’re taking a right now we have pocket edition uh 0.40 update all right so what does the update

Bring i guess we’re gonna find out all right so this guy’s name is steve minecraft steve if i’m not mistaken Farming okay more food New chest Sound oh he’s eating some chicken this is a little house i’m assuming New beds oh you can actually sleep and all that’s deadly Crap doors red dye from mushrooms peaceful mood the is peaceful mode Holy zombies what do you call them Well that was an iphone so on your phones and tablets all phones and tablets now i assume All right i mean that was pretty cool and i like the creative aspect to minecraft and i like the simplicity of you know the visuals obviously when it first came out and it was like hugely hugely popular i couldn’t understand why people actually liked the game i was

Like there’s far better games out there than this isn’t there isn’t there like better looking games that you can play but it seems that it has its own charm that people really really got attached to but anyway we have 1.1 update let’s go check this out good day

We’re excited to announce a brand new update coming to minecraft today did you know that jep from mojang has been making weekly snapshots of the game yeah these awesome snapshots have now been combined to create minecraft 1.1.1 that’s amazing there have been some great new features added look at what But let’s move on mateys fancy an apple they fall from trees now newton would be proud okay creative you can now spawn mobs using different colored eggs simply select your egg right click and back oh how exciting oh how exciting what the hell is that supposed to be

Okay what is with these trailers dude who made these are these legit are these real trailers are these fan made are they taking the piss oh my god it was actually uploaded by minecraft we we have phil and steve and i think they’re sheep i mean they’re the weirdest

Looking sheep i’ve ever seen i don’t have much water not like i used to what happened that was a close one [Laughter] what is this what kind of trailers are these i can’t take this seriously hello hello what are those things Supply disasters loads of slimes oh those are slimes careful mate seems to be a few slimes in this place where the heck are we this is a a really nice flat world that you can use for building that sounds pretty creative seems to be a fair few slimes

Though uh you might want to turn them off before playing a bit of a disaster other than that 1.1 go download it get 1.1 today you’ll feel great as long as there aren’t too many slimes good day good day good day My favorite part of the entire trailer was steve and phil the sheep i can’t believe that’s an actual trailer i i love the fact that it’s not over professional [Laughter] anyway let’s have a look at the 1.2 trailer let’s have a look at this oh my gosh they’re filmed the same way yes

Mate wake up oh someone bashing on the bloody door oh come on oh that’s a nice little house guys guys guys let me in let me in oh yeah we get it god what’s up they’re coming loads of them i know who who’s coming zombies oh god oh no they’re coming through they

Bash the door now can they actually break down the door oh crap they can this is probably not the best time right now but i’ve installed some awesomely like seriously zombies but look how bright they are oh they’re lovely the lights are fantastic let’s go whoa my kind of door

What the we’re just back outside on a floating island didn’t we there’s no time jump what the heck twice as high now in minecraft oh really that’s really hard grab it the cat This genuinely feels like i’m watching three random lads playing minecraft together and they’re making up a little scenario that’s what it feels like i’m watching and i think that’s genius Whoa eyes peeled chaps eyes peeled hold fire it’s a trap screw it run Oh there’s booby traps This is like some sort of temple oh speaking of booby traps [Laughter] so how these trailers are shot are basically showing you as much as the new things that there is as possible wow what the hell village defense what does it mean oh no we haven’t got time i’m gonna flick this What the hell is that an iron golem is that what he said Oh 1.2 Oh now very clever trailers i have to admit they feel so much more like relatable and like wholesome i don’t know why they just do you know so that was the 1.2 trailer for some reason there’s no 1.3 trailer but we have 1.4 so let’s have a look at 1.4 this is 4

Minutes long how much more is there let’s wait and see now here we go Wait what’s are they wearing masks what’s with their faces why is there a pig up in the trees At films presents or is this like a halloween update the spookiest update yes The pretty scary update What is that are they ghosts were they i like the music All right are those witches Are those witches cooking somebody in a cauldron so confused Those loads of heads on the wall Oh those are pigs would with ghosts on the pigs He can await you in the ether good luck lol it’s dangerous to go as a trio take this take what what they got armor and swords now oh what the hell is that it’s a three-headed thing oh what the hell this got super interesting all of a sudden did they win

What did they get The pretty scary update out now that was pretty cool i like that there was uh definitely a lot more like darker elements to it i’ve heard of denather before and people talking about it but i don’t know what it is is it some sort of like underworld in minecraft that’s really interesting we

Have minecraft xbox 360 edition but i think we’re actually gonna go to the 1.6 trailer 1.7 trailer and 1.8 trailer first this is the 1.6 trailer the world of minecraft is vast and sometimes you can get stranded Oh for god’s sake never see the friends again i’m a lonely librarian until now until now i know i’ll make a map wait all right um i’m out of paper should i should i come down why was he throwing paper down is that right so that’s to find you okay so obviously

Worlds got so complicated and huge that became very difficult to find your way around so now they actually made a map okay i like that that’s interesting just thinking of everything just look at the absolutely beautiful village so oh my gosh minecraft patch 1.6 coming this week oh i can’t wait Okay so flames dying out i need some sort of relief oh oh yes oh it’s one of those new maps thank notch this new map oops there we go yes that’s going to keep those embers burning a little bit longer wilson just trued map in fire someone comes soon oh what an idiot

I the the trailers are definitely unique i’ve never seen trailers quite like this they’re like non-professional i want to say in the nicest possible way as in they made them like so much more like relatable or something like every time i watch these trailers it just feels like somebody

Decided to film their minecraft gameplay and just slap on some commentary in there and like make up little scenarios and stuff i think that’s that’s really really charming uh we have a 1.7 update now so let’s check this out oh we have this light again good day minecrafters good job

Mechanical freedom so if a flick of a switch can change something completely if you’re really creative you can make one thing look completely different with a flick of a switch that’s actually really clever i genuinely like that i genuinely like that that’s so okay this is a lot more

Complicated than i thought there’s a lot more creativity in this than i thought all right so now we have 1.8 All right so what’s this about You have lived here Gathered its resources built a home But now it is time for adventure oh okay now we’re talking now we’re talking Adventure update so what does that mean what does it mean i need i need to know more just don’t uh slenderman look what it what are those things called oh they’re changing the game all together here last without 1.8 update all right so now we’ve watched all the

Update ones there and we’ve watched all of these ones here so we have the minecraft xbox 360 edition this should be interesting so is this when it first came to console or what we’re about to find out Two players split screen okay Four player split screen okay that’s actually pretty cool player home [Applause] Up to eight friends on xbox live To really put an emphasis on playing together with this trailer Oh now join in i mean you have to admit that it’s pretty cool xbox 360. jump in so i’m assuming this is the first time and the first uh console version of minecraft because obviously minecraft came out on pc first um so this was kind of something that

Really appealed to the younger audience and the fact that you can do four player split screen i think that’s something that kids really really enjoyed because could you imagine like say a family and they have you know like four or five different kids and they all love minecraft and

They can all play together i think that’s actually very very cool and obviously would um would uh increase the interest for minecraft even more so um so that was xbox 360 edition now we have pocket edition 2013 trailers this is a newer version of the pocket edition

Visually the game looks good on mobile phone but i mean it wouldn’t be that difficult considering it’s not a game like with like massive amounts of polygons or anything like that Explore and discover All right okay okay you can play together on your mobile phone which is pretty good right so now we have minecraft’s playstation 3 trailer so did it come out on 360 or ps3 first i’m assuming xbox 360. so let’s have a look at the playstation 3 version of the game

I’m sure it’s not that much different Minecraft steve buddy there he is Right two players split screen just like the xbox 360 version Oh hang on four player split screen yeah there it is Up to eight friends online explore together survive together [Applause] Again like the xbox 360 version of the game i think it’s something that a lot of young people really really loved when it first came out especially because if you think about it right back then not every kid had a pc that they can game on now i know minecraft is not

Hugely you know demanding on hardware or anything like that but let’s face it especially over here in ireland like gaming pcs and stuff still to this day are very much a new thing um so this game coming to console i’m sure like revolutionized the franchise more kids got introduced to the world of

Minecraft i could imagine the popularity spiking big time when they finally came out on consoles you know um so now we have the xbox one edition okay we gotta watch this let’s here we go whoa one billion hours played over 130 million worlds created More than 6 million xbox gamers Played in more than 66 countries minecraft xbox one edition bigger worlds bigger multiplayer more minecraft wait was that the trailer oh okay it was like a teaser okay now here’s the oh that was the announcement trailer so now here’s the actual trailer Whoa look at this world holy Is he on like a little train Whoa Whoa okay this is getting super creative Whoa That was actually pretty incredible i love that the trailers show anything that’s shown in the trailers excuse me is 100 possible to make like all of that we’ve just seen i’m assuming is possible to make in the game um it just goes to show like that creative freedom is something that people

Really really love but anyway we have a ps4 trailer here now so let’s check this out is that clank ratchet whoa hang on a minute there’s a freaking god of war skin look as a kratos skin Okay this is cool I love that he got playstation exclusive characters Oh look that’s the ps4 that’s awesome look at that discover minecraft on playstation 4. whoa oh okay i have to admit like you know nobody is here written like that level is but that playstation trailer was better than the xbox one trailer it was awesome not that interested in the mobile ver

Mobile version of the games but what would be interesting to find out is that if you have a pc profile or you have it on pc can you play that version of it or that that profile on your phone as well steve and alex that’s a cat

And the cat changed for some reason In invisibility portion oh look at that Frank the farmer and beth the bandits This is the ether isn’t it is that what this is called Whoa look at that Oh it was a pretty sick trailer for the pocket edition all right you can do a whole lot more on your phones now that’s for sure minecraft story mode trailer okay all right we’re getting into some story territory now this should be interesting how many views this got 1.1 product not yet rated

Steel reveal trailer i’ve seen this already but i gotta watch it again this was one of the biggest shockers in super smash bros history something that has been asked for for a long time and i think a lot of people didn’t think it was actually going to happen and it did

Super smash bros that’s that’s actually pretty insane all right so we have minecraft dungeons creeping winter official trailer let’s see what this is about They seem to be adding a lot more to minecraft dungeons as well which is good it’s obviously doing well Reaping winter more minecraft dungeons more minecraft dungeons and okay so let’s go into howling peaks for minecraft dungeons another add-on to the game another update to the game let’s let’s keep going we’re going to finish off the list we’re coming to the end now whoa uh whoa
