Minecraft Haunted House Tutorial: Part 2

Hey guys dustin before i start the video i just want to show you the completion that we’re gonna have on this house now this took 37 minutes i am so sorry i decided in video we’re going to build this house like like a cake layer by

Layer so this is what i have so far we build up this entire side wall and if you if it takes a while like it does you know it takes while we did the balcony filled in some glass panes putting a little roofing detailing we didn’t want

We didn’t do really any detailing minus these little parts here yeah guys in the next episode you’re going to start working on the front and over there so yeah sit back relax and enjoy the video you what is going on guys my name is Dustin welcome back to the minecraft channel

And today we’re gonna continue on this cool haunted house tutorial now there was not a video yesterday because I spent the day with my family and some family friends literally all day like three and a half hours away from where I live it was just a nice little break and

It’s like you know Dustin’s MC uploaded a video that way I know the video is up and it’s live and you guys are then watching it but we’re going to continue on this haunted house so the material you want to use when use some cobblestone some stone stairs dark oak

Wood dark oak planks dark oak wood stairs lime stained glass pane and some grass blocks I think yeah so i’m going to i figured out actually just before i started recording we’re going to build this house in like sections it’s a lot to take in all at once so i’m thinking

We’ll finish off this little side while here and then we’re just going to build it up okay same for the other side of the house in the back of the house and the roof like we’re gonna do this thing in sections layers like a cake and I

Think it’s just easier for you guys and for myself to do it that way okay so over here where we left off in the very last episode want to come diagonal one block forward like that and then we’re going to do in nice little design like so and then you

Were going to come back and you’re going to place one two three four two steps 1234 cobble stone blocks and then go ahead and build up the cobble stone blocks two blocks tall go ahead and take these stone stairs and you are just going to do that so now right here you

Were going to have just a cute little dark oak wood log it’s going to sit there on the end ok so now i want to start building this up for the simple reason that like i said it’s going to be like layers this is the side we are on

The side is not too bad it doesn’t look too hard to do you know we’ll get this cone shape start getting put in and stuff like that and then I think you know depending what we get done we’re gonna work our way you know kind of over

To this area of the house and kind of start working on this side because the commenting that this side is a lot more complicated to do and then this back porch is going to be a whole other story and so is the back of the house so I

Really just want to kind of start with the easier things first get you guys in the groove so we have that ok let’s look at the materials we are going to need all right let’s just clear this inventory we want we definitely want some dark oak logs ok like we’re gonna

Do this little part 2 so we want some dark oak well let’s get some dark oak planks for short and some dark oak stairs and some dark oak slabs just to be safe ok we want some dark oak wood logs like that let’s get some lime stained glass pane and I know there’s

Two different colored windows some windows are broken that’s gonna be detailed in we’re just gonna punch the windows out and replace some of them and god I hate sneezing Thank You allergies I really appreciate it ok so now let’s go ahead and grab some black stain clay

You noticed that’s what this is right here that’s black stain clay um but for those of you that are going to ask i’m in the city texture pack ok we need some nether brick slabs some nether brick stairs and I really think that’s going to be okay for right

Now I’m not really too much to write about that roof yet on this balcony we’ll do that I just want to get this wall put in right i just wanna start building up this wall so that’s what we’re gonna do I mean we’re variety already forming its deep we just need to

Go you just need to go we are going to come up one two three four is that four blocks one two three short is short is four blocks let’s go over here that’s where I’m building it I didn’t know where I was building my own house how

How smart am I okay so go ahead and take your daughter cookware points go one two three and four like right that one two three I guess he’s gonna stop down underneath that roof and my correct and I correct am I wrong at the help I’m

Hope I’m not wrong i am correct one hundred percent but this roof is too far let’s bring this roof back just cut it back one block because this is going to go here and then what you’re going to do is you’re going to take dark oak wood

Stairs place one upside down one regular at the top and at the bottom and then you’re going to just do that like so is it just two blocks is it just a wee little tube to buy one window it is just a wee little to buy one window okay now

We have to place these logs sideways so the easiest thing for you to do is go ahead and do that and then bring this over and then you can go ahead and break those so we have that log that go sideways so now we’re going to bring

This log up to that same point right here we are going through the same thing one two three and four same thing right here and let me just make sure that it is a another one by two window I think the first couple are yes they are okay

Then things start getting crazy okay so well we can do is just go ahead and let’s bring up these logs right there with them so let’s do that bring it up to that point because right here we’re gonna have an upside down step regular step and then we’re going to have that oak

That side Alize Oh glog travel across just like that boom that’s what it’s looking like take your lime stained pain let’s grab some we need some cobblestone walls for this like little there’s a little roof part coming up we gonna need some cobblestone walls to make it work

That way because if I don’t add them now I’ll forget about them trust me okay so now i believe it is going to be the same exact thing but we have this little roof lining that is going to come up over top of you see the cobblestone walls in the

Dark oak fence which i’m gonna have to get oh my god oh my god i’m in a very good mood today very weird one two three four bring this up for blocks tall because that’s what we do that’s the that’s the steps that’s this is how we

Three slabs boom boom boom then you want to have an upside down stair here and here and then you’re going to continue on with the boom boom boom slabs and then Astaire and ace upside down stair like that with the nether brick if I didn’t say that which I know I didn’t so

Not pretty early so right here on this middle block went to place an upside down and upside down stair or is it a right-side up stair I can’t tail I am just dumb right now what are you you an upside down stairs you are totally an

Upside down stair with a slab coming off of it right yeah just a slob on top and a slab out holy cannoli so what you want to do now bring a slab out slab on top slap out slide out slide on top slop out so it kind of gives that nice little

Design that’s exactly what that that that’s what that design would sound like just so you know I wouldn’t lie to you okay so now we are going to start with these stay out these stairs actually there’s two pillars that we can bring up to the well one pillar that’s going to

Come up all the way but there’s like two pillars that we can bring up to the same height right now I just realized well this one this one is going to like travel up with us he’s an important one you’re gonna go upside down right there

Thank you friend and i believe on top of this we’re gonna start doing some like wicked wrapping techniques with these stairs here um i think that’s just you know it doesn’t just stop just stop before you’re wrong because i think that is definitely wrong delete that why did

I do that i’m dumb i am so sorry guys um this house can be confusing clearly if you can’t tell so that I me on the same line here or was I doing the rap thing where it was i doing it right only he’s

So mad if I what I totally was I was totally doing that rap thing right it just looked weird but it’s like one block up off of that okay that’s cool um and on this bottom is in line that that’s gonna yeah it’s gonna be facing

Stare right on top of that that’s going to make my life so much easier derp okay so this is going to come out on top of these and we’re just going to turn this back leave it like that so this is all going to be like basically one block out

Away from those logs and it actually is going to line up perfectly fine i took that thing out for no reason so thank you dustin for doing that and not knowing how easy this actually was you freaking noob so we’re just going to leave it like that now we’re going to go

Ahead and put this same design kind of back in there where we do this and then the slab out slab on top slab out thing now i’m going to go ahead and ditch these i want to grab some dark oak wood fence and we are just going to start

Plopping these guys down kind of in these little corner bits because we don’t do now like I said it’s going to be something that we’re going to forget later this house it’s absolutely crazy to do why did I agree to this I don’t know i couldnt Delia all right so right

There is a slow my god is one of those slabs and right there and right there all right but basically what we are going to do now is right here we are going to have a step it’s going to come up like that same thing here like that

Might extend the length of this episode and then it is going to be one two three four glass panes tall then the upside down stair sure is now that’s going to be more than four that’s one two three four five six that is six blocks I was just one missing this so

It’s gonna be one two three four five yes six blocks tall with the pains so let’s go ahead and do that you want to go let’s see 123456 123456 ok so now go ahead and bring up this make it even extend it up on block actually right

There and right there so now these are going to just go upside down just like that then we’re going to bring up this log so what I’m gonna do I’m not going to start on the roof on this yet I am going to just you’ll see actually right

Here go ahead and take some nether brick slabs and place them like so and then we’re going to bring up these 2 i’m not going to throw the roof on this tower yet like i said i want to do this in layers like a cake so we’re going to

Leave the towel right there ok so now what we are going to do is go ahead and we’re going to start this part now this is going to be two blocks and like i said well we’ll do these little details with the steps and stuff later so it’s

Going to come across two two steps two and then a log that log is going to travel up to the height that we have the other logs so let’s go and take our dark oak wood planks plays one two two steps one two and then you’re going to take

This log and this log is going to ride its way up all the way up to the rest of the build height so right there for now now we are going to have two solid Rose dark oak that are going to go to this point right here okay so we gotta

Bring that across it’s going to go to these point with the steps and then we’re going to work out some windows here very very soon okay so this isn’t too bad guys we just got to build it like a cake that’s all so it’s going to

Be a two by two and it’s going to be a layer in between and then another two by two okay we got this we’re gonna have to make some adjustments you’ll see but let’s go ahead and this is going to just be a two-by-two like that dog upside

Down dark oak wood stairs and then it’s going to be this and then we are going to have steps here and right here and this is going to be another two by two window that’s going to hold for paints just like that and right here what we

Are going to do is bring this awesome log right across the top so it looks like that all right now what we are going to do is is going to be a layer across the bottom two layers up the sides to the top to the build height

Basically and it’s going to be one two three four five a five by two window wrong way okay so go ahead and bring a layer of dark oak wood planks across bring this up to their bring this part up to there same thing here just bring

It up to this build height for right now this is going to go like that and then you’re going to place one two three four and five like cell and then this is just going to connect right across the top like that okay so now we are on the next

Bit of the wall so as you can see guys just building this up leering like cake is making it pretty easy isn’t it not easy not okay so now this is going to come up one two three four five six seven eight nine blocks and it’s just going to be one

Giant window and the logs in come across in the same place that’s nice to know okay so you want to take your black stain clay build it up till it’s one block below where this law comes across right so this should be nine one two three four five six seven eight nine

Take it across take it across go ahead and fill this in with glass panes and then these logs right here are going to come across the top like that and i bet you there’s gonna be logs here as well that are going to go up to the rest of

The build height like that okay so now for the last part of this black part thing yeah we’re going to finish off this wall we’re going to call the episode how we’re going to do it this is only going to go one two three four blocks tall as you can see four blocks

Tall too in the middle two glass panes in the middle so let’s go ahead and do that this is going to go one two three four bring it up over connect it across the top two glass panes and now what we’re going to do is right here behind

This we’re going to fill this in with dark oak and we’re going to break out a little window here really soon but we are going to start doing this little nether brick roof bit that’s on top of that little part sticks out should be very easy shouldn’t be hard at all as

You can see it is literally just one slab three slabs one slab and then turn steps on top seed very easy so let’s go and do that so right here you are going to have a slab three slabs one slab and then you are going to

Do this that in that like a show then I believe that’s gonna be a window right there just a tiny little one block window let me go double-check yes with a stare upside down and one blow it so go ahead and break this out you’re going to

Have a step and then you’re going to have a step so it’s going to look like that now the last wall this wall also has a balcony on it this wallet is going to be kind of strange but it shouldn’t be too bad so let’s see here this would

Actually a dark oak so it is going to come out one two three two steps and then you know the basically the steps are going to be above that it’s a two by two window so let’s go ahead and do that okay so it is going to go like this two

Steps here and then do that okay this is going to be a two by two window it’s one to one oops not like that one two one two there we go so then this is going to just fill up kind of over top of it like this

Let’s go ahead and do that suit that little area right right okay now you’re probably asking yourself what are we gonna do but you’ll see that’s actually gonna be a log it’s gonna go up okay let’s go ahead and do that let’s go ahead and replace that this last part

Right here boom boom boom boom that’s going to be log this log is going to travel up to the remainder or to the remainder the build height that we have so far so right there now we have a big space to fill in look at us go all right

So now this is going to be really hard we might just have to throw in this balcony because this is going to be difficult for the most part the log is going to come across in the same place we know that so let’s go ahead and do

That bring that log across in the same place yeah 24 minutes it’s going to be we have to do it guys we have to do it for the sake of this build okay we brought that across that’s awesome now let’s clear this inventory because we are going to need because we’re doing a

Balcony here let’s see we got going to need some dark oak logs we’re definitely going to need some cobblestone walls we are going to need some dark oak blocks and some stairs dark oak stairs as well okay I can’t tell if that was a stair was out

Of stare like a cobblestone stare but he learning any cobble stone blocks not silverfish cobblestone actual cobblestone that grabs silverfish again I did what the crap there we go I really think that was a stair and I think it was upside down okay yeah was alright

And I think that is going to really be it of course the green grass green grass green glass panes and some smooth stone by the looks of this right here smooth stone yes we’re going to need smooth stone okay this should be interesting and very difficult to explain but we’re

Going to try okay so after this log basically this is going to go up two blocks tall on both sides so let’s go ahead and let’s do that so I’m going the wrong way so what we are going to do is build it up right here just come up one

And two full blocks there and same thing on this side over here so it looks like that then what we’re going to do is just going to connect across one two three and four like that and then we’re going to have a layer of stone that is going

To come down like that so we’re gonna kind of work our way from the top down I just think it’ll be a little easier okay so we did that and then it succeeds going to be full glass panes that are going to come down and then come down

There stuff like that so it’s going to come down one two three four so let’s go and do that and I know like I said there’s other colors mixed in we’re gonna do that that’s going to be a detailing thing guys okay so now it’s going to go one two three four and

That’s going to be all ready one two three and four there so let’s go ahead at that block rd counts as one in that corner sets two three and four like that this is going to come out one more like that and then you are going to turn

It not do that you’re going to turn it like that break this middle one grab yourself a nice big cobblestone wall and place it there that’s a massive door handle for a glass door but it’s okay now this balcony bit is what we are getting to basically these are just

Going to be steps right underneath these glass panes so dark oak wood steps okay and let’s go some dark oak wood slabs as well just in case we need them because I feel like we do for the flowing so right below this you are going to have just

Regular dark oak steps like this and then let’s go and just fill this in this is just gonna be like that yeah we’re definitely need slabs because these slabs have to come out on this level like that so bring them out by to just one block right now bring about why one

Block okay we’re going to see how big this actually is one to two blocks okay so bring it all by two blocks alright cool cool okay look how confusing this is it’s super confusing isn’t it okay so now we’re going to bring this out by two blocks right here to bring that out

Again so it looks like that very very strange I know but trust me this is going to be kind of hard to explain but at the same time it really shouldn’t be too hard to explain so in line with these steps we’re going to come out two blocks so two full blocks cobblestone

Wall for cobblestone wall and then two more like I said they’re in line with these stair blocks so right here this is going to come out to like that one too and you’re going to have a cobblestone wall like that and it’s going to come out one two three

Four like that so there’s our little balcony thing and there’s going to be in hville that are going to go here we just don’t have room in the inventory for them so we’ll get those later okay so there’s that this isn’t too bad right hopefully you guys are falling along

Pretty is a god it’s gonna be a half hour holy moly so that bring that down actually no that’s going to be a log is that going to be log underneath why yes it is that is a log underneath and then we are going to connect it with steps

That’s awesome I never knew that I know now good thing I looked okay so basically this log is going to fill a boom boom and then it’s just going to do that delete it off this corner bring it over bring it out delete it off that

Corner and then connect it up like that so now what we’re going to do is this is going to be steps these steps there are these dark oak stairs are just going to turn like this okay so that’s what they look like dark oak steps and the thing

Is I kind of designed this balcony with diction like I kind of like detailed it so it was really I don’t know why I’m screw this up so bad but I would manage I would manage of everybody okay so let’s go ahead let’s do this outer

Lining of steps there into the wall then we get to start bringing down the cobblestone into the lower part and all of that stuff like sue and then up here like in this area all you want to do is just go ahead and just make it upside

Down steps like that so it looks like really cool right here you want to have a log that comes down in these corner pieces and then now what we are going to do is we’re going to go ahead and we’re going to bring that needs to come out and then turn

That right no that’s not right it’s not going to turn so we did it like that that’s right okay I’m so sorry about this guy’s long episode but we were getting it done so off those logs we want to come down one two three we want

Yeah we want to come down 33 cobblestone walls with two full blocks of cobblestone underneath of them or two full blocks I mean about three okay so let’s take our cobblestone wall come down right here boom boom boom so three one two three like that and then we are

Going to have to cobblestone full blocks below those and then these cobblestone full blocks you can have a regular cobble stone stair here in an upside-down one here okay like that now we’re going to do like this little middle part bit thingy how’s that running into the wall ah i see why okay

I’m an idiot that’s yep I am totally an idiot so we’re gonna have to take out what we just did because I’m an idiot so let’s go ahead and take this out real quick these logs one of this log wants to be right here that that’s where the slog

Wants to come down right there just move ask you one block back so now this part is going to look really weird but all you have to do is just like this this is going to connect and do that like you know the turning logs this is going to

Do the same thing like that so it’s an easy fix just bring it turn it bring it out again boom there we go okay now this is going to come down 123 here okay one two three and then we’re going to have one two one two like that and then here

We are going to have the upside out and the regular cobblestone stairs so now we’re going to connect that bit across the front okay I’m so sorry about this video being so long and this looks like it’s going to be it’s going to continue with the the three wide here so that’s

Going to make it easy let’s go oh let’s do that and we’re going to figure out this front bit so it’s going to be an upside-down step a regular step and this is just that’s another step that’s all that is that’s cool okay so it’s going

To be an upside-down step in a regular step all right I got that let’s go ahead and do it I am so sorry so this is going to be upside down step regular step upside down step regular step and then right here it’s going to be a regular

Step like this that’s going to do that and then this one is going to be upside down and that’s how we’re going to get that little design like that so we’d what is up with this flooring how are we gonna do this morning is it just like straight

Stone blocks slabs crap so get rid of this full block for this full cobblestone block I mean give my dark oak back jerk what did I mean what am I missing whatever get the cobble stone slab I don’t know what I dropped i drew something out of my inventory I’m

Accident okay so it’s going to be slabs as the flooring but what we can do while we’re here I only need one of you we’re going to build this up that’s going to be too wide and this is going to be the three wide parts right there and right

Here like that so now this right here is going to let’s bring this this is going to have to come across another block like that then this is going to be slabs so that’s what it looks like now I believe this is Gus just going to turn

Into a two by two window type deal here i believe so so let me go check it would make sense unless it’s a 2 by 3 nope it’s a 2 by 2 so yeah it’s a full block with ya okay very easy very easy 36 minutes for this video unnecessary okay
