Welcome back everybody it’s i with i will play today i’m going to do a tutorial on the minecraft hidden door now this is a 1×2 flush piston door or what some people call a half jeb door it’s super easy i’m really excited to show it to you and this time We’re doing it with the button to keep it even more hidden and because of a lot of requests not only with the button but i’m also going to show you how to do the redstone extender so the door stays open much longer to allow you to get in And out without getting pushed around or squished one of course i’m gonna build it in survival and this is for bedrock edition which includes the playstation the xbox the switch mobile windows 10 all the bedrock devices now let’s get into this let’s go now again i’m doing this in survival So you can build it the exact way that i’m building it inside of your world if you look towards the middle bottom of your screen all you’re going to need are 42 blocks of your choice six sticky pistons three glass one redstone torch ten redstone one redstone repeater and because we’re Using the buttons make sure you have two buttons one for the inside one for the outside two redstone comparators which is going to help us create the delay keep the door open longer and the four redstone to go along with that so a total is 14 redstone Now again this is super super easy let’s start with building the the frame for the door put two blocks on one side two blocks on the other side jump and place a block on top and then just cross those three blocks across now you have Your door frame which is a one by two one block wide two blocks tall now if this is the front of your build let’s go to the back of it let’s place these glass these are gonna need to be placed exactly the way i tell you otherwise the redstone will not work You’re gonna place a glass at the bottom on this right hand corner the top right hand corner the top left hand corner that’s it for the glass now you’re gonna grab your blocks of choice and place one right between these two glass on the top you’re gonna place a temporary block right here And then one of your blocks of choice directly above it then break out this bottom block now again moving from the back we’re going to move right over to this edge and this block right here not the one directly behind the wall but this block right here we’re gonna place A sticky piston facing us another one above it and we’re gonna repeat that right to the left of both of those so we have four sticky blocks facing right towards us now we’re going to move so that we’re facing towards the back kind of inside the doorway and right on Next to these last two sticky pistons we’re going to place the last two sticky pistons facing towards the front and you guessed it this is the spot where you’re going to place the two blocks they’re gonna be pushed over and then forward to fill in this doorway so these need to match Whatever your wall is made out of and that’s part of what keeps it hidden so place those two blocks there now come around to the side where we have the sticky pistons placed and right on the back side of these sticky pistons you’re going to place Two of your blocks of choice right next to each other behind those sticky pistons let’s go ahead and make this not just a regular little door but let’s go out just a couple more blocks to the side and three blocks high so we have a better idea that this is a full Wall that we’re dealing with here typically this would be like the side of a wall in a mountain so it’s very hidden now other than the redstone this is completely done so let me show you where the redstone goes go to the back of the build And make it easier to place the redstone in this build let’s just build a couple easy blocks put one right behind on the ground here so that we can run up this just like a ladder so we can place all of our redstone blocks we’re going to place a redstone directly In the back right next to this glass block a redstone directly behind it and then another redstone directly behind the glass block right there now we’re going to place one more right on top of the glass block another one on top of this original stone block that we had here And another one on the top of the top glass block now let’s go up on top of the glass block place a redstone repeater make sure you’re facing in this direction and then change it to four ticks you’re gonna click it three times one two three so it’s completely wide open And it should look just like this on the other side of the redstone repeater you’re gonna place another redstone then on the top of this sticky piston here you’re gonna place your redstone and then two more redstone down here on these last two blocks now let’s get rid of this temporary block Now believe this or not this door is completely done other than placing a couple buttons and of course we need to put in a redstone delay so the door stays open longer but if we put the button on the front of this door right here where it’s very hard to see And hit this button you can see That it opens and closes and works correctly so let’s break out this button now that we know it completely works and go behind the build again this is how we’re going to make the door stay closed all the time all you have to do is place the block of Your choice directly to the right of this redstone and just two blocks away from the glass and place your redstone torch right on the side of the back of that block that powers all this redstone and makes the door shut now the redstone delay to keep the door Open for a longer period of time is super easy to do right next to the block that has a redstone torch on it place three redstone directly coming off of that all in a line now let’s go to the front and face towards this redstone we’re going to take a redstone comparator And place it right behind that last piece of redstone then we’re going to take our block of choice and place it right behind that redstone comparator move to the side and place one more redstone just on the inside of that block of choice and then our last redstone comparator We’re not going to place it from the front we’re going to go to the back turn around and place it from the back so it’s in the opposite direction of the one that we already placed so let me show you how this works if you place the wall out To here and you place the button directly on there this button when you press it will start this redstone it’ll go down and open up the door then the button clicks again very quickly as you know how buttons work that second click of that button will send another redstone current to Close it will be delayed as it goes to the redstone delay let me show you so let’s hit the button it’s open and it’s open for a long time to allow you plenty of time to get in the inside button goes directly on the back of this stone block Hit the button plenty of time to go through and that’s your door now if you want to decorate this make this a little prettier you can always break this block out right here and dig the middle area out and place stone or whatever it is that matches whatever type of flooring you want Of course any blocks you want in that area and then just place your redstone torch back on this block and again we’re done now you’re just going to fill in the rest of the wall now that button is so hard to see as you can tell it just melds right in there if You don’t have a hitbox to aim at it you really are not going to be able to see this little button that matches this exact block right behind it so it’s best to use a button that matches what’s directly behind it if you want to get a little bit more tricky You can always place blocks around that And whenever you want to come up and use the door you can just break the block out open the door replace the block you still got plenty of time to go through the door before it shuts thank you so much everybody for watching #minecraft #tutorial #1x2pistondoor #howto Minecraft HIDDEN DOOR – WITH BUTTON – 1×2 Flush Piston Door – Half JEB DOOR. After more requests than I can count, I remake the 1×2 Minecraft Hidden Door, but with a Button and a Redstone Extender to keep the door open long enough to get in and out, without any problems. This works perfectly in Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.20, in 2023, and is the easiest, by far, way to make the 1×2 Flush Piston Door, or what’s referred to as the Half Jeb Door. Enjoy!
