What is going on guys i am back with another minecraft tutorial and in this video i’m gonna be showing you how to build this large modern house and i will be the first to say that i’m definitely not the best at building modern houses but i still think that this turned out Pretty good be sure to let me know what you guys think and if you want to see more houses like this then be sure to please leave a like on the video and i will continue to do more houses like this for the future so now let’s go ahead and talk about the House so it has seven bedrooms four bathrooms a large pool in the backyard as well as a large gaming room kitchen and living room but now let’s go ahead and get right into building it Okay guys so the plot size you’re going to need for this build is going to be 52 blocks from the left to the right and then 56 blocks from the front to the back okay guys so i’m gonna be starting at the front side of the house and real Quick i want to make something clear so with this right here is actually the front side of the house and the picture that you saw in the thumbnail is the back side of the house so i know almost if not all of you guys like to build your houses in a creative world For your town so i would recommend if you want the back side of the house to be facing your street then all you have to do is start at the back side of the shape so i’m going to be starting at the front and i’m going to be doing the Front side of the house if you don’t want this side of the house to be facing your street then you have to start at the back side of the shape so that right there is the front because this is the front and back there is going to be the Back because i personally think the back side of the house does look better so if you want this side to be facing your street then i would recommend just starting at the back side of the shape so for you this will be the front side of the house But for me since i really don’t care because i’m not going to have a street this is going to be the front side of my house so i hope that makes sense if you just want the back side of the house to be facing your street then you just have To flip the house around but i am going to be starting at the front side one thing i forgot to mention is the plot size is based on the outer sides of the shape not the inner sides and i’m also not going to be including those Trees right there to the side of the house just because i really don’t think it’s actually part of the build but obviously if you do want those trees right there then all you have to do is just add a few extra blocks towards the back side of the house so you can still Have room to put those okay guys so for part one of this tutorial i’m probably just gonna try to bring up all of the walls for the first floor of the house so you’re going to need some white concrete black concrete black stained glass black stained glass panes and dark oak Fences okay so i’m gonna be starting at the front right side of the house first and i have some black concrete i’m gonna go from this corner right here and count in ten blocks going in that direction one two three four five six seven eight nine ten Now i want to go to the left five blocks so we have one two three four five and on the sixth block you could place five blocks of black concrete as a pillar one two three four five so that is going to be the corner for The first floor all the way at the front right side of the house okay now you want to make sure you have your black stained glass you could go to the left side of this pillar and then you want to place seven going towards the left One two three four five six seven you could then switch back to your black concrete place one and now switch back to your black stained glass and place 16 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16. okay now we could go to the left side Where you left off make sure you have your white concrete and you could place three right here on the edge so one two three so you have one block remaining on each side now you can skip over two and then place two you could then switch back to your black stained glass Go on the left side of this two towards the back corner right here and place 14 blocks of glass one two three four five six 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14. now right here in the corner you could place one black concrete block Okay so as you can see i’m looking at the house from the front side right now we’re gonna head over to the left where we left off go right behind this black concrete block and place 12 blocks of glass 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 Switch to your black concrete place one in the corner here and now you want to go towards this right side here switch to your black stained glass and place six one two three four five six you could skip three spaces on the fourth block you could place five one two three four five So i’ll go to the front side again and this is what you should have as of right now so now i’m gonna go to the back side where we left off i have my white concrete and i want to place two and make sure you’re lined up with the Side of this glass here so we have one and two you could then skip two and on the third block you could place three so that is going to be a doorway leading out to the pool so that’s gonna be like the back door so just make sure you have it looking Like that as of right now it’s just like the way it is at the front okay so now you want to make sure you have your black stained glass you want to go in one block from where this white concrete is and go from the corner of this white concrete and place three You could then skip over three spaces and on the fourth block place another three switch to your black concrete place one switch back to your glass place three skip over three and then on the fourth block place two and then black concrete right there in the corner so i’m looking at The left side of the house right now and i’ll also look at it from the front so you should have a shape like this as of right now so now i’m still looking at it from the front but i’m gonna work my way all the way to the back side Where this black concrete is where we left off you can switch back to your black stained glass and place seven going towards the left one two three four five six seven you could then switch to your white concrete place two going out like that so we just have one overhanging And then right next to this towards the left you want to place another 19 so including this block it’s going to be 20 in total one two 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19. now switch back to your black stained Glass go over here to this corner where the left side is and you want to make sure you’re in one block you don’t want to be lined up with this white concrete corner here just make sure you’re in one extra block and you then want to place nine blocks of Glass going towards the left one two three four five six seven eight nine now switch to your black concrete place one switch back to your glass and place another nine one two three four five six seven eight nine so once again go back where we left off At the edge of this glass here make sure to switch to your white concrete you want to have two blocks like that out one extra block from that glass there but then place two more so it’s four blocks in total you can then switch to your black stained glass place two Switch back to your white concrete and starting right here you wanna make sure it’s two blocks thick like this section here and you wanna bring it over to the left six blocks so we have one two three four five six and now behind this last block you want to place one more So from up above it should be looking like that so now continue with your white concrete and right here right next to this white concrete block you could place nine going towards the left one two three four five six seven eight nine now place one more block of white concrete Behind that last block switch to your black stained glass and starting right here you want to place five one two three four five so now you should match up with the corner that we started with so from the front side of the house you should have A shape like this and keep in mind this is just going to be the shape for the first floor of the house so now we could go ahead and start bringing up the walls okay guys now i’m gonna go ahead and bring up all of these walls four blocks More so you just want to make sure it’s at the same height as this black concrete pillar that we started with so for example this glass area here i’m gonna bring it up four more layers so it reaches the top of this pillar okay and then for this black concrete Here bring it up to the same height switch it back to your glass and just bring this up you want to also do the same with all of the areas that we have white concrete so i’m gonna go around this entire shape and just bring up all Of the other layers four more blocks in height so they are all at the same height and they should be five blocks in total Okay guys i’m just now finishing up with all of the walls so i’m doing the last little section right now so just make sure you brought up all your walls five blocks in total so it looks like this Okay so i’m looking at the front side of the house right now i have my white concrete you want to make sure you’re lined up with this white concrete right here and i’m going to start bringing around the pillars that i have just wrapping around this section of the House so i have pillars for the parking space that i’m gonna have here and then i have pillars for a walkway that just goes all the way around towards the pool area so make sure you’re lined up with this have your white concrete and skip over six spaces one two three four five Six on the seventh block you could place one block of white concrete right there now you to go towards the left and skip over four so we have one two three four on the fifth block place one skip over four again on the fifth block place one so we have Three in total so far you want two more All right so we have that one and then this one is like right there so they’re all four spaces apart and then that section right there is six spaces apart so you could bring up these blocks four more in total or four more so they’re five in total Okay so these are going to be the pillars for the parking area so just make sure you have them looking like that Okay now i’m gonna start doing the pillars for the little walkways that we’re gonna have wrapping around this section so continue with your white concrete you then want to make sure you’re on this left side of this white concrete here you can skip over four spaces so we have one two three Four on the fifth block you could place one so it should be lined up with these pillars that we have for the parking area so you could just go ahead and just align them all up like this make sure these are all four spaces apart and now we’re gonna push our way back Towards that direction not all the way over there though so starting right here i want to skip over four spaces again have another one there so you just want to keep skipping over four until we reach this corner of this building here okay so just one more Okay so it’s going to be stopping right there so we have one two three four five and six in total on this side now i’m going to bring these all the way until we reach that wall right there and we should have four spaces remaining So i want to go from this skip over four again and just keep doing that until your four spaces away from this wall back here so we have one two three four okay so now as you can see i just wrapped around the pillars just wrapped it around this little section here Now i’m gonna bring these all up four more blocks so they’re five in total okay so there we go i brought them all up so it should be looking like this okay guys so i’m gonna do one last thing before i actually end part one of this Tutorial and that is going to be all of the doorways so i want to switch to my black stains glass panes and this right here is going to be the front door so i’m going to go to the left side and bring up glass panes like that four and Height we’ll curve out one at the bottom and two at the top and then a dark oak fence and two blocks of white concrete above it so right there is going to be our front door we’re gonna have like a hallway here now you could wrap around here and this Is going to be the back door leading out to like the pool area so we’re just gonna have the same doorway here Okay so just like that now right here this is actually a doorway leading from the kitchen out to the backyard so you can switch to your black stained glass place one layer at the top so it’s three blocks in total you could then switch to your black stained glass panes And place four on each side and then curve them out the same way that you’ve done the other doors and then just put dark oak fences for handles okay and then we’re gonna do the same thing for these two doorways here and these doorways here are actually going To be for the bedrooms that we’re gonna have here so just four on each side and you could actually cover up the top and then just do the same thing that we’ve done for that kitchen door over there so you just want to do one more doorway right here All right there we go i think that is all of them okay guys so it’s actually the next day and i decided to go ahead and just record a little bit more for part one just because the video wasn’t nearly as long as i actually would like it to be So i’m actually gonna do something a little bit different and it’s normally what i would never do but i’m gonna start doing the interior layout for the house right now and i normally end up doing that after i have the entire exterior of the house done But i feel like for this style of house it’s just gonna be a lot easier just to do the layout right now and then just do the exterior while doing the layout at the same time so i’m gonna go ahead and switch to my white concrete i’m gonna go behind this Black concrete right here and i want to place nine blocks one two three four five six seven eight nine and now i wanna place two on the left and two on the right so we have a shape like that so that’s gonna separate the two rooms right here and i’m not Sure if i mentioned this before but that’s gonna be a bedroom that’s gonna be a bedroom and then we’re gonna have two more bedrooms towards the back side in a hallway right here in the middle but as of right now just make sure you have that wall right there Okay now continue with your white concrete i’ll go to the left side over here and you don’t want to be lined up with this white concrete that’s jutting out but you want to be just one block over at the right side and just bring out three white concrete blocks like That so you should still have four spaces remaining and now right here you want to make sure to leave four and then on the fifth block you could place four more like that and then on this fourth block you go ahead and curve this in until you reach the edge of that glass Okay so i’ll go up above now we have two bedrooms shaped out like that all right so now we can start kind of like doing the hallway as well as those bedrooms at the back side all right now i’m gonna do the wall right here which is going to lead into The hallway so we’re gonna have a doorway right there so i want to go all the way to this right side and make sure you’re right up against this wall you want to place one block of white concrete then skip over four spaces because this is where the doorway is Going to be on the fifth block you could place two more like that all right and now you just want to well actually you could just continue bringing this right across to the back side all right so just make sure you’re right on the edge of that glass And then you want to leave one space here and then just place three so you’re lining up with the other side right here you’re gonna have five okay and then over here it looks like we’re gonna have three more all right and now you see that wall Right there in the middle you wanna do the same thing at this side so now we shaped out four bedrooms and then we have the hallway right there in the middle and then a doorway which is going to lead from the living room to the hallway All right so just make sure you have it looking like that as of right now okay so now continue with your white concrete once again you could go to the back wall of this hallway right here and just add one more layer right up against this wall so it’s Actually going to be two blocks thick and the reason why we’re doing this is just so the wall is flat and we just don’t have like a random like section here that’s just cut out we can just make it flat make it look a lot better And yeah just make sure to add one more layer right there of white concrete so now from up above i’m looking like down the hallway right now it should be looking like this and i guess we could go ahead and continue doing the rest of the layout That’s probably all i’m really gonna do i’m not gonna bring up all the walls for right now so i’ll just do the rest of the layout and then probably in part two i’ll bring up all of the walls and then cover this all up with a roof but as of Right now make sure it looks like this okay now i’m going to kind of like shape out where we’re going to have our bathroom it’s going to be right here where that window is so with your white concrete make sure you’re still lined up with this white concrete on the other Side of this wall you could place two right there skip over four spaces for the doorway and on the fifth block you could count ten towards the right so we have one two three four five six seven eight nine and ten okay so there we go just make sure you Have that wall right there okay next continue with your white concrete again i think that’s the only block we’re really going to be using but you just want to make sure you’re lined up with this corner on the exterior right here you can just bring your white concrete Straight across until you meet up with that wall so this room here is going to be the bathroom uh the other side this is actually going to be an office so with your white concrete still just place one more block right there up against and lined up with that black concrete all right And then let’s see we have to skip over four spaces so we have one two three four so you just want to place two more right there and then this is going to be the doorway which is going to lead to the office so i’ll go all the way up above i’ll Look at it from like from this side over here so you could see what we have just make sure you have it looking like that as of right now all right let’s head back down where we left off so where we left this doorway here you want to go at the left side Make sure you have two spaces remaining and then on the third block you want to place four blocks of white concrete coming out in this direction now you want to skip over eight blocks so we have one two three four five six seven eight on the ninth block you could place one two Three four five so we’re going to be lined up with that white concrete right there for now so this is actually going to be like the hallway which leads or it’s like the entrance of the house so we just have a hallway right here we have a big opening Which leads to this keep in mind this is the living room and then once again all the way down at the end of the hallway we have this office then that is a bathroom for all four of these bedrooms and these are going to be like guest bedrooms because they just Lead like straight out to the pool so if you want to have some friends over they could just sleep right here and just have easy access to the pool all right over here this is going to be the kitchen and dining room so we could do This last wall right here which is gonna divide the living room and the kitchen and then i think that’ll be it that should be enough footage for part one i don’t want the parts to be too short and i don’t want them to be too long so i feel like about Around 30 minutes for each part i think is about good a little less than that is fine but at least 20 minutes i don’t want him any shorter than that because then i just feel like we’re not really getting enough done but as of right now make sure you have It looking like this we’re going to finish off that wall down there near the kitchen and then that’s all i’m going to be doing okay i’m right above the kitchen now and we want to go at the right side so this is the last wall that we placed you Can add the two spaces right there and then one extra at the left side you want to skip over seven spaces for the doorway which is going to be leading into the kitchen so we have one two three four five six seven on this eighth block you could just place one more And yeah that’ll be it so once again two bedrooms right there two bedrooms right there so it’s four in total and a hallway leading to all of the bedrooms a bathroom an office is an entrance to the house the living room and then the kitchen and dining room so that’s everything on the First floor so i think that’s all i’m gonna be doing for part one all right guys
