Tootsie had been out collecting mushrooms and wild plants for her supper it was the end of the afternoon and the first few stars were coming out suddenly it started snowing two poor rabbits had lost their way in the snow tootsie held out a dandelion and they followed her back to her cozy Warm house no innocent creature should be left in the snow miserable that night the rabbits would have shelter and food and they would be off safely the next day hey everyone and welcome to the mountain house build tutorial so let’s get straight into the building the first Thing you’re going to do is of course choose a mountain side that you like i decided to choose a mountainside that is in a snowy biome but also in a spruce biome because this actually makes me think a lot about the mountains where i go to in the french alps So it has a very sentimental meaning for me let’s talking about bee let’s get on with the build so first thing you will need to do is clear off all this area to make the mountain side nice and flat as you can see the magic of editing has done its job This went super quick originally i had made the tower on this side and the house on that side but as you can see um the mountain is a bit higher on that side so i think i’m going to do um the house part on that side and the tower on This side like that the roof of the tower won’t be um blocked by the mountain as you can see by the blocks i have we are going to start off with the tower the trick with that tower is to mix up um three different blocks so of course you can Use whichever blocks you like i’m going to use stone stone bricks and cobblestone i’d like you to take note on the fact that um every single mountain is going to be different so you cannot follow this build tutorial block to block you know you really have to adapt you know you Just can’t get the exact same shape but i will of course give you the main shapes so this will be the shape for the tower which is basically three blocks a space three blocks a space and three blocks so this is basically the main shape which is super Simple um but what we’re going to do is we are going to mix up the blocks which is actually um going to create some detail which will look much much nicer in the finished result one thing we are going to correct is the fact that there um the house will just Be in front of the mountain but we want the final build to be actually part of the mountain which means that i showed you the shape there but i think we are going to move everything in a block imagine that these three blocks are the blocks that were in front Meaning that there is a space here and then one two three a space here and then one two three a space here and then one two three and as you can see it is definitely one block further than the original outline so now i’m basically just going to Change up the blocks a bit and then we are going to bring this um stone tower up about 14 to 15 blocks once again this is entirely your choice i keep repeating it but i really really mean it um if you have a very low mountain of course don’t Make the tower super high and vice versa if your mountain is really high um try to make the tower higher this is not a complicated build which means that you can easily adapt yourself even if you’re not a great builder but of course once again you are totally allowed to do exactly The same as me if you don’t feel confident enough of making your own heights and everything now that your tower is nice and high we are going to add a bit of color and detail by using some spruce logs as you can see the tower is now higher i mean that part is Higher than the mountain which means that you can start incorporating um some more blocks as if the tower was actually coming out from the mountain after this layer of spruce you can do a layer of white terracotta up five blocks of course white terracotta is not essential um I expect you can use quartz you can also use wool or any clear block you wish to use at the top you have to connect the two five block columns there i’m actually creating the windows on this bottom area you can add um a spruce log Then you can place two glass panes and then you finish off the top with some upside down dark oak stairs of course i had to think of a way um to add some lighting to this build so if you’re on java audition you can basically put a door with a lantern under Um but if you are using bedrock edition you can do that with a slab there we go now we’re going to add a bit of depth and detail by adding these slabs all around one very important thing is not to put the slab on the spruce log you Have to put it over it because we are going to put some fences here after then we repeat this process on the bottom layer so once again do not put this slab up here put it right under the spruce log now for the finishing touch you basically have to go all around the Build and place the fences on the two sides now it is time to move on to the roof so you can start off by putting some bricks just following the outline of the terracotta and now listen and watch closely so first place an upside down stair Then you go to each side and place a stair another one here and then you place an upside down stair under both stairs you’ve just put there and then once again you place a stair and another one and in the corner you will place some planks Let’s do it a second time on this side so the upside down stair the stair on each side then an upside down stair under each of these stairs a lot of stairs i’ve noticed and then a right side upstair and another one here and we finished off with some planks As you can see the roof of our tower looks extremely flat so we are going to do something about it you go to the center block here and raise up by three and you do exactly the same at the back one two three on the sides we will actually do one two One two then place a wall on each block in the corners then you go inside and place a block behind the two walls and then you place two more blocks on top so one two three one two three and one two three you should have this Result and you can see that the roof is slowly taking shape you can raise this part by one block you do the same behind one block and as for the sides it will have to be raised two blocks so everything should come together right here And now all you have to do is raise the blocks once again by two then you place a wall on top with a fence there for a bit more detail you can once again place some walls in each corner so not here but in the corners and there we have it Our nice pointy brick roof now you may wonder how on earth will we be able to get in so we are going to do a very simple entrance for the entrance all you have to do is go in and place a door and then you can either so for bedrock edition You can place slabs like this with a lantern under and for all those using java edition you can make the door like this because basically on bedrock you cannot hang lanterns from trap doors now for a few finishing touches you can place a wall a fence and a trapdoor And you can repeat that on the other side there we have it our little shower so and now we are missing the house so we’re not going to start too close to the start of the tower we are actually going to start right here in the middle block of the side So we are going to bring that up three then we are going to put a stair then we’re going to leave a gap and another gap then one two three and then another stair this will basically create an archway and i really really love incorporating archways in my builds so We’re going to repeat the process one more time so a stair then a gap another gap for the stair then one two three and then we can place a stair so we have a double archway next we’re going to take our spruce logs and put them all around here So once you arrive here all you have to do is just connect it to the mountain behind let’s put two temporary blocks right here and this will actually be for um putting lanterns right here and i’ve just noticed that i actually have this torch it was basically for Making a tutorial on my instagram and i forgot to take it out oh and i actually forgot a great way to add a bit of detail on the tower is to add loads of vines so you can find vines either in jungles but also in swamps so Yeah they’re not too hard to find for those of you who have been watching my videos for some time you know that i really enjoy making my bills sort of overgrown so that’s why i love adding bushes and leaves and i mean talking about bushes Why not add a few you know all around the tower because they always look super nice and they really add a bit of wildness to the build i find like bushes are really a great way to add to any build in minecraft so i really recommend you using some I’m really sorry if you can hear some background noises but basically there’s somebody cutting um their grass so yeah i can’t do much about it i’m super sorry guys so now let’s move on to the door and the window you can do them really um Either side you can do the door here the window or vice versa personally i’m going to do the door here and the window will be here so where the window will be you place three stone blocks on each side and then you place one in the middle And in front you can place three dirt blocks so of course your ears won’t have the grass except if you have silk touch but that is not a problem because the grass will spread and then we can add some trap doors and of course finish off with some flowers As for the window basically you can place two glass panes and as you can see it looks terrible because the inside hasn’t been dug out so yeah just to have a nicer result um i dug out the inside a bit and you will basically have your window here So let’s move on to the door i want to do a very large door that takes the whole area to do this door you will start off by not placing a door right here but you will place it on the second block then what you can do is fill All these with blocks which are actually temporary then you can start placing some trap doors everywhere like that you have a square of trapdoors and then you can remove the temporary blocks and it actually gives a sort of huge door effect which i really really like now let’s move on to The next layer so what you can do is place a temporary block then place a spruce log you can do the same on the other side and then we have to find the middle which is right here and you do the same now we can place some lanterns because We know very well that what is really important with a starter base is to have loads of light so that the mobs won’t spawn now we can take some stairs so either dark oak or spruce work very well and we put them all the way let’s bring them up one two Three four blocks so let’s do that in each places we have already placed a spruce log so one two three and four there we go then you take your white terracotta and you basically fill everything up now what you can do is break the two middle ones One and two now you have two choices the first one would be to basically do some flower pots there we go and the second one which i think i might do is to put some leaves because i have the better leaves shader which makes the leaves more bushy so you can actually do What you prefer so what can also be nice is just changing things up a bit like putting maybe a fern here and the advantage with the leaves is that you can actually put you know some like a little mushroom and some cute little decorations so i think i’m Going to go for the mushroom fern and leaf side but of course you can obviously do the basic flower beds which look really nice of course once the windows are done you can also add some glass panes and now we are going to do a bit of detail On the spruce area place a stair then a wall and then a fence and you basically have to repeat that on each spruce column of course i realized that i didn’t bring everything high enough basically just add a layer of everything i’m really sorry this is the first time i’m doing a Tutorial um while i’m talking so yeah i’m a bit forgetful and now we’re going to do a little archway around the windows by putting two upside down stairs on each side and a trapdoor so see it creates like a cute little arch effect let’s do the same on The other side upside down stair upside down stair and trap door there we go now let’s take our terracotta once again and bring up four so one two three four one two three four we’ll only bring up the sides by three for example and two here because the roof will probably be Covering this area anyways so there we are actually going to do a window at the top because if some of you know what chalets look like in the mountain they always have like that cute little attic window um so now we are going to do a sort of little balcony Where we could maybe put some cute little pots right under this little balcony we will actually be um placing some spruce logs so yeah basically just place them all along the way and the one in the middle and the two on the sides will be facing forward let’s move On to the roof and you’re gonna see it is super simple so let’s start off with this side so all you have to do is place some stairs bring them out a little bit because we don’t want the roof to be exactly on the same layer as the house We want it to be slightly more in front so then an upside down stair a stair an upside down stair a stair an upside down stair well i expect you know um what i’m doing because it’s basically the same till the top now let’s repeat this on the other side And don’t worry about this side area i will get to it dory for the top part it all depends on what you prefer so you can either put a block which will look like this or you can put for example an upside down stair and of course for those of you who like The roof sticking out a bit you can actually place an upside down stair in front of the block which also looks pretty nice so now all you have to do is bring back the roof into the mountains so as soon as it reaches the mountain you do not Have to continue for example um from a sideways view it doesn’t look very nice you know that these two parts are sticking out while sticking in more to the mountain so what you can do is simply place um a dirt block and there it looks nice and even here The roof is finally done and i’m actually going to place a lantern right here i’ve just realized a little mistake i made which is quite important because yeah most of you will be building this in survival so i really need to get the lighting so what i would suggest is actually making This part go out a little more see like that we can basically just hang some lanterns from these logs and i think this is much better and the person outside started cutting grass again yay as for this side making a window would not look nice so except If you have like more space you can make a window but in my case i will actually just fill up with terracotta and some planks and i will also add a few stone bricks right here if you’re wondering why i can’t just add all the details here it’s because they Will not look nice it’ll be like so for example if i add this and then i add for example you know the stone wall etc it would just pop out too much you see it just and it wouldn’t be even with the other side because we cannot see anyway the Other side because of the tower so but if you like things popping out i mean you could clearly go for it because it doesn’t look that bad but personally i think i prefer just a flat area because this actually gives me the opportunity of you know getting the wild side in and You know very well i really really like that so yeah not having a window means i can add some more bushes and i really enjoy that see i we can pretend that there’s actually some bushes coming down from the mountain and actually going onto the roof you see Then maybe like some are falling on the side of course all the bushes i’m not forcing anyone to do it you know it’s just personally i really like the kind of overgrown feel i mean like even for my future house in real life i would love To have a house with loads of bushes and greenery i just adore that like i don’t want a big house just like a cute little cottage with like some bushes growing over it would just be lovely and now a few more tips for all those of you who like decorating for example you Could maybe start doing a little pathway coming from you know your house i really like doing pathways i find they really add to your world they look really really nice and cute there we go um you could also add some pants like some some ferns i find that ferns look Really really nice you could of course also add loads of flowers kind of everywhere and then once again you can add some vines you can really do whatever um and i find all these little things just add to your build and of course you know me i really need to add Loads of bunnies and by the way here we have wonder for those of you who know my bunnies and snow oh careful wonder anyway guys thank you so much for watching this build tutorial i hope you really like the house and the tower and i will see you in the next video Love you i’ve just realized of course that i br i’ve just realized a little mistake that i make obviously the window would not look nice so as for love you Video Information
