Hello my lovely lovely friends and welcome back to the classy kiwi show today we’re going to go over a tutorial for this easy and small castle you can use as a survival base in your own world or just in creative world if you think it looks nice so without further ado Let us drop the shaders and get right into the video so to start out we’re going to inscribe the shape that i’m showing you into the ground this is just a rectangle that is seven by thirteen and you can use any material to do that Once you have it in we’re going to move to the left of it and count three and then aside from the three we’ll use a different material or the same one if you like and we’re putting in a little circle shape you can watch over this a couple Times i’ll also show it above afterwards and this is just three long on the sides then one corner piece and then three long here we can take a look at it from above you’ll see it’s not too complicated and one of the three sides is uniform connecting into the previous rectangle continuing This inscription copy this a couple times we’re going to count from the edge one two three then one two then one just one one three times and this part is definitely the hardest but take some time and you will get it one two three four right here and once you have this The rest of the build is really easy trust me one two one one one one four times there coming down into the corner and then finally one two right there and then one two three at the very end coming along to the inside you can look at this over and I’ll show you an overhead again afterwards and if you mess up a bit on this do not worry small mistakes will not be a big issue if it’s one or two blocks off that will not be a problem in the long run watch over this a few times it’s really not that Complicated i’m using blue wool so it’s really easy to see and you can copy even if it’s just like stone or whatever you can put that down look at this from above and try and see that’s in at least similar shape moving to the other corner we’re just Going to do a little square piece there just just three long going up against the side three three with just the corners open so we’re just putting this in and this inscription will make building it a whole lot easier because it’s a slightly more complicated build you can see that from above Now finally we’re gonna come in i’m just gonna run through what this looks like we’re gonna put in another rectangle that’s three from the edge and then counts out one two three four five six right there then it’s just seven long you’ll see again this is just Three from the edge from our first triangle one two three four five six and then seven along the center here and right right afterwards if it’s hard to see from this beginning i’ll show you an overhead it’s just two from the back side so the front side yep we’re looking at This seven by fifteen put in like i show you and again one or two blocks off will not make a huge difference going here we’re gonna count one two three four five and we’re gonna put a five high wall all the way around our first rectangle with stone Brick blocks you could use a different block here if you like like some of the black stone if you prefer but i’m using stone brick blocks and when we put these down i’m also going to use cobblestone and stone just to give it a bit more interest make It look a bit better as we move it around trust me this makes a huge difference if you’re doing this in survival this should be really easy because you’re going to need cobblestone to make the stone and the stone to make the stone bricks So you just pull out a few along the way and so just put these along right and trust me it makes it look so so so much better when you do this it really does make a huge huge difference come along this corner count one two three four five six seven Eight nine highs this one will be nine high and then we’re just covering up our little piece remembering to also give it some gradient with that and then yeah we’re just encircling the circle nine high with the same materials again and on this one we’ll put in a few Windows and you can really use any wood for the fence here i’m using spruce for the fences but any wood wood will work just because when you’re in survival sometimes you won’t be able to find the forest as easy so spruce is the best but really oak would look just as good honestly And looks pretty much everywhere for this last little tower coming up this one is just going to come six blocks high so it’s just one higher than the main building the main building to its left and you can look at how that looks and we’re just going to add some Gradient and we can add a little window in i will put in here in a second again just with our fences too high and again coming around this shouldn’t be too hard and really once you build it up it’ll all look fine once you finish that Part we’re going to put a little blocks in the corners and i’m using polished andesite for this you could use stone bricks just copy what i’m doing with some upside down stairs slabs and coming through again polishing into site you could use regular and then i’m putting stone brick Walls on the top again we’re going to copy this we’re putting a block in the corner then the stairs coming down upside down across and then just building it up from there this shouldn’t be too complicated and you should be able to copy it down pretty easy moving to the rectangle that comes Through we’re going to take our just regular oak wood and put it in the corners three high and circle it with a wall coming through here we’re gonna come through to the other side and do the same and the same on the back wall this shouldn’t be too difficult and we Can put in a few little windows here i will do these can go anywhere but i just put them right in the middle i’m gonna put a little door in so we have an entrance to the main piece of our survival castle and then put in our last window now to Start the roof we’re going to take our slab material and i’m using spruce for this and put it along as i’m showing you coming through here now watch this close you may have to go through a couple times we’re going to come out one then build it up and i’m going To take a stair and put it on top there upside down stair another two so that’s just one full block then stair and then a full block right there a full block right there upside down stair stair and then one slab right on the very top from here we can Copy that same thing on the left side it should not be a very big difference and it should go in nice and simple then we can add in a little backing for this and a few lanterns moving on to the back we’re going to copy the exact same pattern except it Doesn’t push out as far but really it’s exactly the same nothing here is changing so you can just do what you did again this is the same roof pattern and it should line exactly up because we are going to connect this roof back so it should be The same height the same length line straight up with our first one especially if you follow the inscription that we did at the very beginning then we can add our lanterns i’m going to come through and connect the top of it with a bottom slab like this Then to make it look a bit more interested and interesting and graded i’m adding in every other another top slab just to add some difference through there and now coming over here i’m just going to push the roof that already exists to the side with a different wood so i’m just using Oak because i like the lighter color but realistically you could do this with like regular oak oakwood and birchwood or whatever you have around so then pushing this back all the way to the wall notice i’m not putting it in the center just so that can that connects to the First rectangle wall that we put in but what we will do for the center is just copy this little piece that hangs over just the part that would naturally come over if you think if you just connected these two builds together like just shot one into the other So now coming through here we’re going to do a little chimney it doesn’t really matter where you put this but you can copy my exact placement if you like super simple chimney design that i do on most all the more medieval style builds just coming up with a single block then Putting a campfire on top for the smoke and then a few little spruce trap doors now from here we’re going to come in and we’re going to add a bit more of the traditional castle look so i’m using andecide again just to make it look a bit different from the walls Again you could use more stone but usually when i’m playing in survival i end up collecting a bit of andesite along the way either way so if you have some use it here if not just use more stone to build this in and when we put these little stairs Just alternating like i’m showing you they really do give that nice little cal castle balcony look that you would expect when you look at castles generally and that really does help to define the build that we are looking at and now from here we’re going to add in our last Tower design so this is just going to be a one wide little tower i mean one wide through the center so you look there’s three blocks on each side so three blocks wide but one block wide in the center and it’s going to count up seven blocks total from that First block that we placed so one two three four five six seven i’m just counting up each one of these times and again it’s only one wide through the center now we can add in a little gradient just like we did for everything and add in a couple of windows coming up this And you could make this a bit higher a bit shorter if you like it really doesn’t make too much of a difference the height is a bit arbitrary but i did seven above that first block that we placed so from here we’re going to start the Roof this is a bit of a complicated design but i’ll go through it close up slowly with you we’re going to put down our stairs like i’m showing you and make sure that those side ones do attach to the side then blocks to the left and right and we’re going to put stair Stair and then too high with again we’re doing this all with spruce then a stair on the top now we’re going to come on to the back and repeat just that same pattern so you can get it again if you missed it a bit i’ll go just a teensy bit faster this time But we’re connecting these stairs in then building it up just one solid block through there then stair stair in the corner up two blocks and then a star on the top it will be a bit different on the sides so watch this part slowly again stair stair and then stair connecting like before This is the only different part all we have to do this time is stack one block through there then another block and then just connects up because we’ve already filled in those corner pieces on the front and back so it is a bit different front to back Versus side to side but once you have the front back in the sides are very easy to put in and now once we have all of this and we’ll come across to the top and we can finally just add in one block on the top and then two little fence pieces coming up Right there so now from here we’re going to move on to the last tower that we haven’t built a top on we’ve already started it and we’re taking and aside and putting in like i’m showing you again you could use some bricks if you like but we’re using andesite And then we’re just really expanding out these corners so we can get a nice squarish top to it for our top of this tower design like our last little tower just this time it’s a lot bigger as opposed to the one on the other side of the build Again we’re connecting this with our andesite stacking this up and then putting on blocks and some stone brick walls along the top to give it that classic castle look we’ll copy the same design on all four sides of it i’ll go through a bit quicker this time because we did it the First time but it’s the exact same cat uh the exact same castle design kind of coming through all of these to give it that very very very good looking top of the tower design so from here we’re going to go one two one two for these work out one two three one two Three one two three four one two three four one two three four five one two three four five and we’ll keep it consistent with this one will also just go up five blocks and the last one right there also five then six six seven this time seven Again and then we’ll go all the way back up just to connect back um with the tower originally right there i did make a small mistake here i really really apologize for that so this part’s the same but right there it’s actually going to be too wide i super super Apologize you’re gonna have to come through and change that up just the one block and then the rest of the same one two three one two three one two and if you look at this i’ll run through we’re just doing two diagonal from that first connections two two Then two diagonal again then one two three one two and coming across here we can take our stone brick blocks again and count two two for the first one then three three for the second ones or excuse me it goes four from there then five then we just bring it up six Then the last one will go all the way up seven to go flush with the highest point from here we’re going to add in a bit of gradient as always just very important for this build anything you’re doing in survival as you place you can add gradient might Save you some time and make your life a bit easier and we can add in these little torch pieces so i’m just putting these along every two i’m putting a spruce fence with a lantern on top you could put a torch on top if that’s what you have more available Lanterns of course look a bit nicer on these builds but between lanterns and torches it will not make a huge difference really either will work now coming over to this corner i’m adding in a little kind of tent area if that’s what you like to call it Uh just a little overhang using campfire so i’m putting these campfires and putting them out with a shovel and i’m going to take some oak fences and put them along here just to hold it up from here i’m going to add in a perimeter wall covering up the rest that We haven’t covered and this is a super super simple wall design just coming along with one block i’m taking out five total blocks right there to make room for the entrance and then i’m just counting this up one block and one slab then in between i’m doing a fence and a Spruce trap door and again you could use oak for this it really not make it would not make a huge difference it’s coming along doing this super simple wall pattern to keep our compound safe and then we can add in our bit of gradient as always and move on so finally this is Our last step for the outside we’re going to come in and add in this doorway area and then we’re going to add this and you’re just going to have to copy this slowly if you miss one or two blocks from this airway design that i’m showing you Do not worry it does not need to be block for block the same that i’m showing you putting down these slabs it can be slightly different and i promise you will not look any worse and it will not act any worse really all you have to do is place down these blocks And you will be good just place them down and keep moving and there will be no issues at all as long as you can step up it like the staircase that it’s supposed to be i’m just putting these down at least one staircase all right so now We can quickly run through the interior that i’m doing for this so starting on the outside you’ll notice that what i’ve changed is the ground is no longer grass i’ve replaced it with just whatever blocks you have will work i’m using podsole mossy cobblestone cobblestone stone some andesite really whatever you have Some coarse dirt too you can throw down here as long as it’s not too much grass might look a bit off so into the main house just in this first room there’s not much some plants some paintings a shelf a little dresser for some extra storage and a little crafting table nothing too Complicated and this is the original wall that was put in here and i am lighting moses up with lanterns hanging kind of randomly and just some oak planks along the ground right to our right here we are putting down a little furnace area with some furnaces and blast furnaces Then the little design holding this place is with granites there’s just two granite stairs a block that is a wall put in right there upside down stair slab as such just so we have a place to do our smelting it looks a bit nicer some extra storage through here for the smelting presumably An extra crafting table also putting down a few extra one piece paintings and a couple plants i did put a little wall here that’s you can count one two three just one two one one two uh three connecting back and i did tear out the wall that came through here that we Originally did put in coming in here we have a little dresser our bed and that is mostly just what we’re using this part for is bed you can really put whatever you want in there just some extra space coming into here we have our enchanting area And so this area is filled with books and realistically if you don’t have enough books you don’t have to fill it up to the top but if you do then that will look very nice like this and some extra barrels put in here for storage for enchanting purposes you can put your Lapis and such now finally under the staircase this area is just really mass storage so you can throw in all your extra blocks all your extra cobblestone dirt whatever you have in here so you have a place for it you can put a crafting table there a grindstone Just because our enchanting is right here now moving back on to the outside we have a couple other stuff that loop through the house so we can start it does do a full loop right over here i made this some extra storage right there i made this the cooking area So we have smokers here and barrels to store fish or whatever you’re cooking and some extra lanterns underneath just to light it up and i will say around the perimeter i did use some regular torches just to light things up a bit more on the inside of this wall Now coming up our staircase that we built in in this room this is kind of our miscellaneous we have a cartography table i believe that is and our smithing table just to do some extra stuff in armor stand you can put in a little ladder here you Know you can put down a couple extra plants if you like just for looks to come through here and you can look off into the distance moving over here this is our armory area so we have our armor you know we can put our sword right there um you can put down whatever You want in these chests in terms of extra armor and a few extra lanterns and plants through here coming across the roof over here is a little corner for uh making banners there’s our loom and right over here is just the top of this i will quickly say There’s not much room to do stuff this is mostly just for looks you could do this as a little bell tower and put a bell up there if you like now moving over to this one you can look off you know you can put some extra plants if you want But coming down here we’re going to build a bit underground so this is level this connects over here and we’ll talk about that in a sec but a bit underground we can put our nether portal the bottom of this tower i have a little ender chest that was definitely in the mistake right Over here we just have our little ender chest and a regular chest which you can still open because that’s just a slab and this little spiral staircase that comes up it now finally over in this area we have just a little wood cutting area right here so we just have some wood blocks You know some empty campfires our stone cutter is for stone but looks nice here either way and then having just a couple barrels to store wood a little axe for looks thank you so so much for watching this video i really hope that you did find it enjoyable and helpful If you did not let me know why down in the comments so i can improve in my next video and so i will see you all
