Hey guys i’m back with part four for this tutorial on how to build this wooden mansion here at this one i’m gonna be showing you how to do the landscaping for the front and backyard and we’re also gonna start doing the interior layout for the first floor of the house I went ahead and gathered up all the main blocks we’re using for the landscaping so be sure to grab some stripped dark oak logs oak pressure plates some green terracotta and lime terracotta jungle leaves jungle fences some lanterns stone bricks gravel andesite stone buttons podzol and coarse Dirt and i also do want to mention if you’re maybe building this in survival and you don’t have that much terra cotta you could go ahead and maybe replace that with some of the moss blocks anything just regular grass to make the strips so it looks like mold grass that Would probably still work pretty well but for the purpose of the tutorial i’m just going to stick with the terracotta blocks that i originally used i’m going to start by marking out the round shapes that were then going to be filling in with the terracotta blocks so make sure To have these stripped dark oak logs and i’ll head on over here towards this right side lined up where this pillar is and i’m just going to start shaping out the round shape so i’m going to be placing two layers in height so i’m going to Start with a strip of three like this just facing straight up and down then we’re gonna go in from the corner of that towards the left we’ll go ahead and bring out two and that will go in again we’re gonna have one and now we’re gonna start kind of Working our way towards more where the center of the house is we’re gonna bring over two like that anything from the corner again we’re gonna have three and then we’re gonna go ahead and have a strip of seven So from up above is this is what we have now let’s continue on and i think it’ll just be easier to just go right here lined up where this pillar is i thought we’ll work our way over to those so just right here we’re going to be Doing the exact same thing we just did there so we have the set of three we’re gonna work our way in we’re gonna have a set of two and then one and then we’re gonna kind of work our way towards that side so we have the two And then we’re gonna leave off with three so we have a nice round shape like this we’ll go ahead and now cover that up with the oak pressure plates And this is what it should be looking like now exactly what we just did here we’re gonna go ahead and do over here on this side so i’ll switch back to the stripped dark oak logs i’ll just head on over here lined up where this pillar is And remember we just have the three then two and one and then the two in that direction and three and then seven all right and now i’ll just line up where this pillar is do the same thing so we have the three the two one then two and three Go ahead and cover those up with the pressure plates That’s all looking good so far now back to your stripped dark oak logs we’re gonna continue with another shape it’s gonna be one block in height not two like those other ones we’re gonna start lined up here where this pillar is right next to the staircase going up to the front porch So we’re just gonna have a strip of four like that going out and then we’ll go from the corner of that we’ll have two then one and then two like that another one and then another two in the other direction going out and then three now we’ll have two right there and one And then two three go back in we’re gonna have another two and then one is that we’re going to start working our way towards that other shape so we have two three and then we’re gonna leave off with two and we’re lined up here so we have these three spaces Where the set of seven are so we’re just lined up with that third block more towards this left side so i’ll go up above you can see exactly what the shape is looking like now i’m gonna do the same thing over here on this side what we could do is Pretty much just look at the shape we just did so we know exactly how to do this one make sure it’s all good but you can see we’re just gonna start out with the four and then we have two one two one and two and then there’s the three Then i believe it’s back to the two yep okay so we have the two one two three back to the two we have the one and then i think it’s just two three here let’s see yep two three two so we have two in that direction three And two so just match it up to that other side now i’m gonna cover these up with the oak pressure plates so now we have those all marked out let’s now go ahead and use the green terracotta and lime terracotta to start adding these strips for the emote grass I’ll start by filling in the lower levels first so i’m gonna have them in this direction so they’re pretty much going towards the house these upper levels i’m gonna have in the opposite direction going side to side so i’ll start down here and we’re just going to have two strips Of whichever one in this case is the lime and then i’ll switch to the green i’ll have two strips of that and then back to the lime back to the green just back and forth until it’s all filled in you can see here i’m actually going to be replacing these leaves With the terracotta as well so it goes underneath those stairs so i mentioned in part one how some of the base of the house is going to be covered up by the landscaping and this is what i was talking about so that part right there and there you can see here these Upper levels are going to be completely covered up so the stair and the leaves So let me just continue on So it’s just like that for this space we’ll go ahead and do the same thing here So i have both of the lower levels done Now let’s go on up to the upper levels and we’re going to have them in the opposite direction so i’ll just start right here fill this in from side to side just like this so we’ll just continue working your way all the way up to the house So i have it all filled in like this looks good now let’s go ahead and focus on the circular walkway that i have right here and then we also have just a little space in the middle that’s like a small little garden you can switch back to the Stripped dark oak logs and we’ll start by marking out the circular garden space in the middle first so you could just skip until you’re 10 spaces away from the edge of the staircase here so we’re going to start right here just make sure to skip towards the back until You’re on the tenth block So i’m right here i’m gonna go ahead and carve out four like that so now it’s lined up with the staircases so counting from right here to here is actually nine spaces so we just have a space of nine in between them and now let’s go from each corner of that four We’re gonna place or we’re gonna be cutting out two like that and then we’ll go ahead and do another set of four and then we’ll do the two in each corner again and then the final four here Now let’s fill this in with the logs facing up and there we go we have that marked out let’s go ahead and fill it in with the podzole and the coarse dirt so we’re just going to be replacing all of the grass in here with that So what i like to do is just kind of mix up the two blocks randomly adds a bit of texture between the two So this is what it’s looking like a little something like that maybe we could adjust it a little bit yeah there we go i like that now let’s go ahead and add the oak pressure plates on top of these logs so we have this little space right here in the middle marked out Now let’s go ahead and start shaping out where the round walkway is going to be around it we’ll head on over here towards this right side we’re gonna be from the corner of the set of two here so just start right here on this corner we’re gonna carve out three going out Like that and then we’ll do two one and that we’re kind of working our way towards that side so we have two and then this will be three and then right here where the edge of the concrete is we’re gonna be removing four we’ll go ahead and do the same over here So from the corner of where the space of 2 is we’ll start here we have 3 2 1 2 and 3. just like that and now all of the space like all that grass you see within here as well as that little strip of concrete we’re gonna go ahead and delete Okay so i just cut all that out looks good so now we’re gonna be replacing it with the andesite some of these stone buttons the stone bricks and the gravel so what i’ll go ahead and do is just completely fill it all in with the andesite first and then we’ll go back And i’ll cut out a bunch of holes and replace it with the other blocks just to add extra texture So i have it all filled in with the endocyte so now let’s go through i’m gonna be carving out a bunch of random holes i’ll fill it in with maybe these stone bricks first is that i’ll carve out even more holes and fill the rest of it in with the gravel Okay so now this is what it’s looking like i think that is good enough and now let’s go ahead and just add some stone buttons and these are going to look like rocks And i think that’s good now let’s go ahead and use here let’s just move all this out of the way we’re going to be using these jungle leaves the jungle fences and some lanterns i’m gonna be placing some bushes on top of all of the terracotta so we’ll probably have maybe two right Here and maybe like three up on the upper level so we could just add some bushes just place these leaves all randomly And you know what i think that looks good and now what i like to do is just add some jungle fences so these maybe they kind of look like branches like that and then let’s go ahead and maybe just add a lantern maybe just right there so that’s a nice light source We’ll go ahead and have another bush here and then we’ll do three more up on that section and then we’ll do the same thing over here so probably two on this lower level and then three up there so i’ll show another little bush right here pretty much the same thing we just did And you know what i think that’s good we could have maybe a fence there one there one here at the back and then on top of maybe that one we could go ahead and have another lantern so i’ll just continue doing that you know what i’m actually just gonna Have two up here on these upper levels So i added the bushes like that i think it’s looking good now let’s go ahead and have another one right here in the middle maybe something like that go ahead and add these fences again a lantern as well and then i’m gonna go ahead and grab A bunch of flowers so i like to always grab these big ones here and then we’ll do a couple small ones and maybe some ferns and we’ll just place these all throughout here and that looks good so we have the entire front side of the House done i’m going to go ahead and get rid of all of these flowers we’re going to continue using here we’ll get rid of that as well we’re not using that we’re not using these we’re just using all of oh wait we’re not using that either So we just need all of these blocks here we’re gonna go to the backyard i just had a couple more sections right there and over there just one on each side i’ll head on over here towards this left side first make sure you have these stripped dark oak logs and we’ll start Marking out this shape they’re only going to be one block in height they’re not going to be doubled up like those upper levels at the front so we’ll line up here where this pillar is and we’ll start it out so we’re going to have a strip of three And then we’ll go from the corner we’ll have two one and then two is that direction three two one and then two more going out one and then two towards the right another three so this three should be right on top of the edge of the plot size here at the Back side and now we’re gonna work our way towards the corner of the deck so that is two one two going in and leafing off with one right there so we have the first shape on this side so you can maybe pause the video and count the blocks it’s looking like that Now i head on over here to this other side and we’re going to be doing the same exact thing we can maybe also look over there to make sure we’re doing it all correct so we’ll line up where this pillar is we’ll start off with the three and then two one two three Two again one now we’re kind of going out so we have two one back towards the side so two and three and then we have two one two and leaving off with one so both of the sides are the exact same on top of all of those i’m gonna cover Them up with the oak pressure plates so now it’s like that now make sure you have the lime and green terracotta i’m gonna be placing them in this direction so going towards the house and we’re gonna be also replacing all of the leaves that you see so i’ll start over here We have the lime and then the green you can see all these bushes we’re gonna go ahead and replace right here so it’s going to be the same for that section it’ll also be the same for this space right here all of this as well as for the deck so i’ll be sure To do this entire side and that one and that’ll show you how it should be looking so i have it all filled in for both sides you can see how all of the lines just flow together nicely right here as well as for everywhere else we have the porch part here that all Flows together so it’s all two spaces everywhere now i’m gonna be adding probably three bushes on each one of these so one right around there maybe one up here at the front one at the back so the same design we did for the front yard So i’m gonna go ahead and do those i’m gonna have a total of six back here and then all of the landscaping will be done so now that’s it here for the backyard so now we have all of the landscaping done for the front and backyard Now i’m gonna go through and delete all the remaining concrete that we still see that we ended up placing to mark out the plot size so i just have some regular grass blocks i’m gonna go ahead and replace all that just clean it up and i’m just gonna skip right over that So i’ll see you guys once i have it all done and we’ll then be heading on to the interior all right i went through and cleaned up all of that extra concrete now let’s go ahead and jump on to the interior we’re going to go ahead and do The interior layout here for the first floor of the house probably just for this section right here so like the main part of the house where the entrance is i went ahead and grabbed all of the blocks we’re using for the interior make sure to grab the stripped spruce logs the stripped dark Oak logs some oak wood planks spruce wood planks dark oak wood planks oak wood stairs spruce wood stairs spruce wood slabs and some glowstone i’m going to start by filling in the floors first with these spruce wood planks so i’m just going to go all throughout here For the main entrance of the house i think it’ll then just make it easier to place all of the walls we will be replacing some of the spruce wood planks with dark oak planks before now we’ll just go ahead and fill it all in and we’ll make the adjustments later So i’ll just start over here at this back right hand side we’re gonna be here on this layer so at the same layer as the front porch floors you can see we’re just one block below all of the windows right here so i’ll add a strip going straight across right here I’ll do the same over here on this side and now i’ll just go through and fill in all of the space right here you don’t really have to worry about these empty spaces in the wall you could just go straight across like this you know what we’ll go straight across Like that actually and then we’ll do the same thing back here we will be filling in this little space here so there we go now you can see all the space here in the middle will fill in and there we go we just filled it in First with all of the spruce planks now let’s go ahead and start marking out where the walls are going to be also i forgot to grab the stripped spruce wood that’s covered up on every side so make sure to grab that as well so let’s actually just go ahead and grab that Real quick so we have these both side by side and i’m gonna look here at this front wall and we’ll just start marking out the first couple layers of the walls so you can start with these stripped spruce logs we’ll just go here at the left side of the doorway we’ll add two Going straight up like that we’ll just continue this along and anywhere where you see the windows this is where we’re going to be adding the stripped spruce wood so the sides that are covered up on every side we’ll go ahead and do that in front of that window We’ll do the same for these ones here at the back right here and then for all of those over there and now switch back to the stripped spruce logs just the regular ones and we’re just gonna continue on with the walls so we got this space right here And then we’ll go ahead and do this extra space at that side of the window and then we’ll do the same over here on this side so we’ll start next to the doors we’ll just continue this along like that and then here for the back uh we’ll go ahead and start right here At this side of the window we’ll place two go ahead and place some here in the corner place two there and now we’re just gonna go right up against that part of the wall skip right over this corner here so now you can see it’s all still filled in Bring this over to the doors do the same on this side we have the two here one right there this corner and one right there so we have that marked out so far now let’s switch to the oakwood stairs we’re gonna place two facing up below this little window here above Where the door is and then two upside down like that we’ll do the same for both the front and for the back just like that and now you can switch to the oak wood planks we’re gonna place four layers on top of all of those stripped logs that we just placed And then you could go ahead and make sure to go over the window like that so above every single window is going to be two layers like that so we’re just going right around the edge of it so i’ll be sure to show how this wall is looking like it’s just like that So we’ll go through and do that for that side all throughout there so this is what the front wall is looking like anything will go to the back and now this is what the back is looking like so far now switch to the stripped spruce logs look where the back door is first We’re going to be lined up here right down the middle of each of these spaces and we’re going to be adding a pillar so it’s just gonna be to the same height as the walls so a total of six like that there we go we’ll go to the front we’ll do the same Thing Now make sure you’re looking at the front and we’re going to be three spaces away from each pillar we want to make sure we’re lined up with it so we have the three spaces we’re gonna be here on this fourth space we’re gonna bring up another pillar of six right here And then another one right behind it so it’s just doubled up like that we’ll do the same for this side So now in between each one there’s three spaces so when you walk through the front door they’re just right there now let’s go on each side make sure you have your stripped spruce logs we’re going to be here at the back side of these pillars and we’re going to place Two right there and then another two right next to it we’ll skip over five and then here on the sixth space we’ll go ahead and place two more there and then two more next to it so this right here is going to be an opening it’s going to be like a doorway And then we’ll go over here to this side we’ll do the same thing so we have the set there skip over the five have the other set here okay now let’s go ahead and fill in this space so we’re just connecting together the entire wall there we’ll do the same for this side So now you can kind of start to see what we have going on here so this is the little dining room that i had at the original build over here is the kitchen and then all this space throughout the middle is just an opening pretty much like a hallway And then this right here is going to be a hallway accessing the space here and it’s going to be the same for this side so we have a big hallway here to access that side now on top of all of these logs we just placed let’s go ahead and add the Additional four layers of the oak wood planks So now i’ll actually just look up above this is what we have for the first floor so far let’s start marking out the doorway that we’re gonna have over here for the kitchen and over there for the dining room so we’re gonna be replacing these oak wood planks Just this set of three here and three here we’re gonna replace it with the stripped spruce logs and then along the top we’re gonna go ahead and have the logs on their side like that we’ll do the same on this side so we’ll replace that and that Have it going sideways along the top and they could go ahead and switch to these spruce wood stairs we’re gonna have one in each corner and then we’re gonna have some slabs so it adds a little arch to the doorway There we go now above the doorways let’s go ahead and add the extra strip of the oak wood planks there we go we have all that marked out now make sure you have your stripped dark oak logs and we’re going to start adding the extra detail and the floors So here at the entrance we have these openings here just go down in the floor replace this spruce wood with a strip of the logs like that we’ll do the same on this side and then let’s go in between the opening here will do the same thing And if you wanted to you could go ahead and just use the spruce wood logs right here if you have more of those and not as many of the dark oak that’ll be up to you but i just wanted to switch it up a bit and have the slight color difference between The spruce and the dark oak it’s not really too noticeable but i just went ahead and did it anyway and now let’s go ahead you can see here this section of the spruce wood as well as this section i’m actually going to replace with some of the dark oak planks So this is what everything is looking like so far let’s go ahead and start marking out these hallways that we have right here i’m going to go ahead and switch to these bruce wood planks and just fill in all of the floors for this space So i’ll just line up where we have all the dark oak planks already and we’ll just bring this across until we meet up with i’ll bring it over to right here until we meet up with those beams so it’ll be uh just right here we’ll go ahead and bring this all the Way up to these walls as well just like this now let’s go to the other side i’ll do the same thing so up until right there do the same on this side bring it in fill all the space in the middle and then just along each side up against the wall Now let’s go ahead and start marking out the walls gonna be the same design just so you know we have the same exact pattern for the entire house so the two layers of the stripped logs and then the layers of the oak wood planks so let’s go ahead and actually grab those planks And i’ll just swap out the spruce wood so switch to the make sure you have the spruce logs so it matches don’t accidentally use the dark oak and i’m just gonna go through first i’ll use the ones that are covered up on every side we’ll just hurry up and Do these spaces in front of the windows anything let’s go ahead and do all the other space with the two layers of the stripped logs just like that do the same over here And now on top of all that we’ll go ahead and have the four layers of the oak wood planks So we have that marked out so far i’m gonna head on over here to this other side and i’m gonna do the same thing so start by marking out all the walls like this And then just the rest of it with these two layers and then everything else with the oak wood planks So that’s all good now let’s go ahead and start adding all of the extra pillars we also have some of the wood in the floor again like the strips logs so start with the stripped spruce logs we’re actually just going to be starting right here at the edge of the spruce Wood planks so make sure you still see one space away from the edge of this window so we’re going to be lined up here on the second space we’ll bring up five in height we’ll do the same on this side and that we’re gonna be doubling up this doorway like that Let’s go ahead and add these going along the top and then here let’s go ahead and mark out the other two so we have one right here in the middle of these windows it’ll just be one block thick again And then the ones going along the top and then we’re gonna have one right here on the edge so once again just make sure there’s a space in between the window and this log And now you can switch to the spruce wood stairs we’re gonna have one in each corner You could do it twice here for the doubled up door and then you can add these slabs in the middle so now we have these little archways going through here for the hallway so it’s not just so empty adds a little bit extra to it I’ll go over to this side and oh yeah first let me go ahead into the floors grab these stripped dark oak logs i’m going to replace these planks the strip right here and right here i’m just going to add all of these in between these doorways We’re not going to be switching up the floor and the wood like the wood in the floor we’re just going to leave it all spruce but i still want to add these beams going through each opening so now let’s go to the other side and we’re going to do the same thing So remember we have a doorway right here one here one here and then we have the planks to replace so let’s go ahead and bring this up all right so it’s looking like that let’s go ahead and replace the floors and there we go everything’s looking Good now on top of all these doorways let’s go ahead and place some oak wood planks it’ll then make it easier for when we start doing the ceilings and now this is everything that we have done so far here for the first floor now i’m just gonna go ahead and leave it At that here for part four so we did all of the landscaping and then we went ahead and did some of the interior layout all right guys i’m gonna go ahead and leave it at that here for part four for this tutorial on how to build this wooden mansion if it helped You be sure to please leave a like subscribe for more and i’ll see you guys in part 5.
