Hey guys what’s up it’s Jax the legend today I’m another minecraft tutorial at the moment I’m standing at one of my castles which is a work in progress but I someone to show you underneath my castle so let’s go follow me down into the darkness the dungeon the place Everyone wants to be not when you decorate a dungeon it’s important to get that dank and dark feel I have chosen blocks and torture devices to give a real thermic ARB feel so let’s have a look at them our first torture device is V Impaler isn’t it lovely to have your head Skewered on it and rock and I’ll show you how to make this later in the video along the very back wall are the death cells lore dark and cramped and the people that were in here would not get fed on the two sides of this part of the dungeon I have built cells This one has a poor guy encased in cement and the guy in this one obviously died some time ago considering these scholars black here’s a village are awaiting torture you can spawn one in creative or you can use a minecart and rails to move it in In survival and make sure to have some fun when you’re in creative and spawning a witch or another mob as we turn our heads you can see the hangar where people are being gently roasted to create this I’ve used arm stands iron bars and barrier blocks but I’ll show You how to make this at the end of the video if you’re in survival I’ll also show you another method keeping with the theme the room as exposed beams to hang the torture devices from at least this guy’s not feeling the heat use storage slabs iron bars and arm stands to create This the best thing about this is that because you can see them for more directions everybody can watch him slowly perish yay over here we have the torture bench and notice around the road I’ve used redstone on the floor because it looks like blood this torture device Is one of my favorites the head crusher made with AMA stands Pistons that iron bars I really wouldn’t want to die this way redstone toilet just keep the lighting dim you can make them look in character by using an item’s frame and a slap behind them notice how I’ve used areas Of most Eastern bricks and cracked stone bricks to give character to this build it’s always good to keep these groups in odd numbers like 1 3 & 5 use line bars to fence off dark areas above the mezzanine and let things spawn for even more character either few zombies in There now let’s have a look at the room next door the sorcerer is lair as you enter the room a copy with a DHS underneath – adds a nice touch you can see how the particles from the enderchest will pass through the carpet it’s sort of magical looking the Mezzanine floor in this room holds all the enchantment books that the sorcerer may need and of course an enchantment table with glass shards I’ve kept it open so you can see it from the ground floor downstairs we have a nice big table made using the new spruce trapdoors when you place the spruce Trapdoors make sure they’re all facing the same way under the stairs laughs a brewing area and next to it I have some caged lava lights I have to sum both sides of the room he’s a fun and easy build to add to your dungeon an animated end a dragon course you’re going to These dragon head for this so it’s gonna be a bit tricky in survival but I believe you can do it when you power the block with those dragon head is on the dragon’s head mouth moves to make it look like the dragon is caged behind this wall use some black concrete Behind it so it looks like the body I’ve also placed some lava pools around the room and added some contrast with starting pillars let’s have a look at the enchanting podium how cool is this effect you can color coordinate this however you like I’ve created a podium added some science in Latin can you figure out what the scientists leave a Comment if you can to make this podium I’ve used upright dispenses lingering potions and pressure plates when you stand on the pressure plate it releases the lingering potion but remember to put a roof on your podium otherwise the lingering potions will be released way too high because that dispenser has some power If you are in creative sporting a phantom in a cage as a really nice touch I’m not sure if I recommend try on a cat run in survival but if you do please let me know I have created a bubbly culture and using spruce trapdoors folded up water And soul sand when placing the source and make sure there is no flowing water otherwise assaults and won’t work you will also need to have at least two blocks of water another feature that I’ve used in this building is dripping water it really creates a dank feeling Let’s go on up and I’ll show you how to build some of these things to make the water drip from the ceiling it’s actually really simple because when you place a block of water on top of another block the water drips through that block your derecha add a double floor Otherwise you’ll see this above your castle onto the first torture machine the Impaler place a block for your choice and a piston on top then place a block on the face of that piston and activate it place an N rod on the block that is on the piston face you would set This up against the wall here I’ll just build a quick one now stand towards the very back of the end rod like this and type /summon space armstand space tilde space your y-coordinate minus one space tilde if you would like to have arms on your armor stand Check the description down below for a different summon command then add a head and some armor and you’re done now into the next one the hangar if you’re in creative type the commands shown on screen and this will give you a barrier block now place a barrier block On the ground and then an armor stand on top put on some armor in the head then build up on the side and use iron bars to make it look like it’s hanging If you’re in survival you can’t get barrier blocks so you can create a hanging man using a slap like this so it looks like it’s being weighed down here you can see the barrier blocks in action in my dungeon only the people holding the barrier blocks can see them but any Other player won’t be able to by the way place netherrack under your fire otherwise the fire will burn out it really is all the small details that make the build do you have any ideas that you’ve used in a dungeon let me know so they have a dark and dank space Under your medieval build so that’s gonna be the end of this video guys I hope you enjoyed please leave a like comment and remember to subscribe see on you and I will see you in the next video peace and remember stay carbonated Video Information
