MINECRAFT | How to Make Flickering Lights! 1.15.2

Hello fantastic people I’m going to show you how to make flickering lights now the concept for flickering lights is super simple so this will be really quite easy we will need some redstone so write a redstone repeater a redstone torch actually need a couple of read some Peters a couple of redstone

Then we need our redstone lamp then we need our structure that we will build this on so we’re just going to use concrete and some wool alright let’s just do something really simple that’ll work okay let’s expand this a little bit more room okay now we will want some redstone

Lamps which will be the lights that will be flickering with you two let’s do two now we will want to place some redstone over these we also want to make sure we have some redstone repeaters in here like that let’s go out one more huh Oh blech okay and some redstone repeaters here

Okay now it’s all connected now we have to decide how long we want this to be delayed you have to have at least a few ticks or won’t work so we’re going to take a few of these a couple of times if you want you can do a little bit more

It’s up to you then you come in here with a redstone torch and you’re gonna place it down and then quickly remove it you see that it’s sending that signal through let’s go look at it see how it’s flickering and if you want to look more realistic

Instead of having these two connected in the same circuit line you could have them separate so maybe have two circuit lines going so that they flash independently on their own you can do that four flickering or if you have this like a bigger longer line let’s go ahead

And remove one of these red stones to end the circuit because I placed it quick right but if you place it down just a few seconds longer it’ll make it last longer so you see the light stays on longer for the flicker as I left this redstone torch down longer see kind of

Nice and then I’ll just keep flickering like that you can put that all throughout buildings and that’s how it’s done now I will warn you that on certain maps and certainly low-end computers flickering lights can’t slow down things so if you had like a thousand of these

Running around and you’re on low on computer you probably couldn’t even load the map maybe you could try it but I mean I’ve just seen that you know these tend to slow down computers a lot if you have too many of them so be sparing them
