Minecraft How to Use Marketplace

Hey everyone what is minecraft marketplace well it’s an area where you can buy additional content for minecraft and there’s loads of developers creating all kinds of weird and wonderful content in there so there’s a couple of different areas where you can buy content in my minecraft you can do it in

The marketplace or if you’re interested in specific sort of costumes or stuff like that you can do it in the dressing room here on the right hand side but as this was talking specifically about the marketplace let’s jump into here so it should be on your main screen if you’re

Running bedrock or you can see i’m running version 1.19.2 so if we jump into here um this is minecraft marketplace and it’s bombard you with all kinds of weird and wonderful stuff in here and all these prices and savings and all sorts of stuff but what is it what can i buy you

Know let’s talk about it so first up you’ve got skin packs you’ve got worlds you’ve got textures and more so all kinds of weird and wonderful stuff let’s talk about one of the most exciting things first though in marketplace worlds so worlds are funny enough entire minecraft worlds that you

Can then go and explore and when you have a little look at this there’s all sorts of ones that are featured at the top and also if we go down you can see new worlds we can see new and trending worlds best-selling worlds popular worlds et cetera mash up packs and all

Sorts of stuff there are loads and loads of different worlds that you can look at so let’s have a little look at some of the most popular ones here’s sonic their hedgehog so this one when we select it you can see at the top right hand side

It will cost you six pounds 69 to get a specific world now that gives you 29 skins so you get access to lots of characters and one world you can see that in the middle there just below where it says sonic the hedgehog and if we look down you can see

Some of the images to give you an idea of this beautiful world that you’ll get it’s very much sonic inspired very cute and if you’re a sonic fan this might be rather fun to kind of have sonic in your minecraft world so pretty cool one

You can also see more by this creator so this creator is pretty cool they do uh they’ve done light year recently they’ve done jurassic world um so if we have a little look at light year we’re gonna sorry i’ve missed that let’s go back light yeah um and again we’ll look at

The graphics here see you can see this very cutesy world um based around light here so again quite cool that you get this and again with this one again same sort of price but you get 26 skins and one world so you get lots of stuff here so

I’m going to talk about value for money and you know ways of getting the best value out of marketplace if you want to use any of these in a minute but let’s talk about some of the other things that we’ve got so as well as worlds you’ve

Got ones that are kind of tailored to different things it could just be an adventure map to explore it could be a survival spawn where you’ve got to do certain things you know some of them can have a little storyline to guide you what to do so all these

Different things here that we can jump into so you can see there’s one here called animals for example let’s have a little look at that one and you can see this is well rated so look at the ratings in the middle to give you an idea of how popular it is

You can see 7 750 ratings for this one you get 10 skins in one world with this one and if we look down through it you can see it adds a whole new dimension of characters and to your minecraft world to explore so very cute that you’ve got that

Instead of your standard world um so what else we got in marketplace let’s go back and we’ll go back to the first thing skin packs are very popular as well so skin packs give you lots of new characters that you can use in your games so if we have a little look here

We’ve got new skin packs but new and trending for example and if we go through these you can see these various different characters that we could get and then use those on our character so some of the best-selling ones star wars classic skin pack let’s have a little

Look at that so you can see this has a whopping rating a 4.7 65 and a half thousand reviews of it and you get 55 skins for two pound 49 so pretty reasonably priced and if we have a little look down here’s some of the

Skins that you get look we can be luke in different styles of luke there a little yoda on the back cute um look at them all that’s a little layer chewy darth vader um so you get all of these for two pound 49 that’s quite fun i quite like that they’re different shapes

As well you had ig eight there a little bit taller boba fett um so yeah all of these ones for just two pound 49 or and i want to point that out the um what was it 490 minecraft coins because we’re going to talk about that in a minute

Let’s just keep going with the content though so textures are more um there’s different sort of uh packs that give you a nice different textures to the world and different looks so for example realistic textures hd let’s have a little look at that so this is a texture pack that says make

Your worlds more realistic and immersive with hd textures and custom models so if we oops let’s look at this one um sorry there we go updated for cave and cliff so it’s 1.17 compatible uh custom animal and other mob models 32 x 32 hd textures and a custom ui

Made for both creative and survival let’s have a little look check these out so way more realistic so textures to use in your worlds so it does add a lot of interest to the world that does look pretty cool so um hopefully you’re seeing that there’s some cool stuff in minecraft marketplace

I don’t want to waffle on too much but what i do want to talk about is how to buy some of this stuff if you want to um and you know what your options for adding stuff so if you look at the top there’s an option next to x with a

Little plus so you’ll have a different button if you’re on a different platform but let me hear that and show you what we’ve got here so this shows you where you can buy minecraft coins so they’re called mine coins and you can basically buy these in bulk

If you’re going to buy lots of things this works out better value for money so for example you can get a thousand coins for four pounds 99 and we’ll compare that against the other thing in a minute um or you can buy packs where you’ll get

Lots of packs free so you get four packs free if you buy this for four pounds 99 um so you get a thousand let me just jump into this one so it says you’ll get 1020 mind coins for four pound 99 and get all of these packs in the bundle for

Free so you get all of this stuff as well so that’s you know better value for money so they’re trying to um suggest that you go for some of this and you know you get those extra bonuses so if you’re going to buy spend a little bit of money you’re

Better off getting that one than that one because you’re getting free stuff and you can see this one again you get nine packs free so this is better to buy probably than say yeah this one’s kind of like an in-between isn’t it so those deals will

Will move around so let’s talk about so a thousand coins for five pounds um so if we look at what’s a thousand let’s say that perfect shades so similar sort of thing there you can see four pound ninety nine you can buy it for a

You know that gives you an idea of the in-game currency now not everything on marketplace costs um there are some free things as well so next to the x button you can see there’s a y for search and what you can do here if you go over to the filter

We can change this if we go all the way down to the bottom go low to high you’ll actually find some content that’s free and you can download it so you can see vibrant adventurous for example is free 80 skins that you’ll get for free so if

You have a little look at this one you can then go up the top right and then hit free it says purchase in progress this is costing me nothing and then i can say equip it and then it will install it for me um so there we go i’ve got the defender red

One skin um already but i can also drill into my content outside of here and i’ll have access to all of those things now so if i look at my content um i can see um all of these things so if we look at where have we got

Uh i just need to find it there vibrant adventures um and then show more whoops expand there so here we go here’s my adventurous so i could go with any of these as my equipment so i just go through them all and say oh i want that one it’s color green too

So what we should see now when i go back out is there you go there’s my little scholar so i’ve got those for free so that’s quite cool you get the extra skins this let’s just jump back into here um another thing is at the minute there’s a five-year celebration

Obviously this depends when you have a little look this is available to the 17th of july so you can view the gifts and each day there’s some new stuff being given away i’ve already claimed these whoops um but if you haven’t there’s a few things there so today’s one was this
