Minecraft: HUGE Suburban Mansion Tutorial (#5) | Part 1

What’s up guys flying cow here and welcome to part one of this tutorial now as you can already tell i’m going to be doing a voiceover method for this tutorial instead of my regular method of just giving the numbers and words down on the screen so let me know in the

Comment section down below whether or not you like this more whether or not it was more or less helpful than my other method and if it’s more helpful that i’m just going to continue doing this if it’s not as helpful then i’ll switch back to the other one so go ahead and

Outline that we’re going to have to build now this part of the build is the front center patio with a little pool on it that you saw in the intro so go ahead and pause the video right now so you can get this outline down and then once

We’ve done that then we can go ahead and start so what we’re going to do first is we’re going to take out our white terracotta we’re going to go over every single block here of this outline except for these purple blocks right here so we have that white terracotta placed

Down we’re going to go over to this block right here and go one two three four blocks out and then we’re going to take out our smooth quartz block and place down eight and come over here and break out this wool and then off of this block we’re going to place 14.

Then we’re going to place seven off of this block and then we’re going to line this block back up over here and it’s going to look just like that now that we have that we’re going to take out our stripped jungle wood and let’s go over here first

We’re just going to go off of this block right here and place down five and now once you have that we’re going to fill in this entire patio right here with this stripped jungle wood and while i’m doing this i’m going to be placing it this way every time

And the reason i’m doing that is because if you place it from this side right here then it’ll mess up the pattern a little bit as you can see here so it doesn’t matter that much really but that’s what i’m going to be doing you can place it

From this way if you want doesn’t really matter but that’s what i’m going to be doing so i’m going to speed up this part so that the video isn’t 10 hours long and then we will continue from there okay so once we have all the jungle wood

Filled in this is what the build should look like so far so next up we’re going to come over here to the pool area we’re going to dig out two layers of grass here so one two and i’m going to speed up this part again as well

Okay and once we’ve gotten that part dug out next up we’re going to take out our smooth quartz block again and we’re going to dig out all of this area right here and then fill it in so we’re just going to fill in that second layer here with smooth quartz block

And once we’ve got that part done we’re going to come over here and we’re going to dig out one two with three layers right there and fill it in with our white terracotta blocks then we’re going to break out one two three four right here on the wall

And then replace that with our smooth quartz block and then of course we’re going to do the same for this part right here now we’re going to take our smooth quartz slab and place down a layer right here and then we’re going to take out our white terracotta blocks and we’re going

To fill in the rest of the pool floor right here with these next up we’re going to take out a lantern and this is really just to keep any bats or other mobs from spawning right here then we’re going to take our smooth quartz slab and place down one two

One two right there to make a little square then we’re going to place down another layer like so and then one more layer right there so now we’ve got some stairs going down into the pool and we’ve got a deep end right here so next up we’re gonna need to get some

Water so let me just get some water out right there and now we’re going to fill all this pool and with water which i’m going to fast forward as well okay now that we’ve got the pool filled in with water what we’re going to do next is we’re going to build a little

Diving board so for this we’re going to use our smooth quartz stairs and smooth quartz slab and it doesn’t really matter which block you go off of i go off of either one of these two but we’re just going to place down one stair right there and then another

Upside down right behind it and then two smooth quartz slab and that’s all that we’re gonna do for the diving board it’s gonna be super simple just like that next up we’re going to take some snow we’re going to just go either one or two blocks away from here

Let’s just go one just for the sake of the video we’re going to place one two and then two on top of each other like that these are going to be our little uh sunbathing chairs then we’re gonna go two blocks away do the same thing and then two blocks away

And do it once more so we’re gonna have three sunbathing chairs right there and a little diving board and then the pool area itself is complete so next up what we’re gonna do is we’re going to build the stairs and the railings surrounding the pool area

So for this we’re going to take our quartz pillar block we’re just going to place two down on each side of this purple five block strip right here then we’re going to take smooth sandstone stairs place down three right there and then we’re going to take some

Lanterns and place down one on top of each of those now we’re going to do the same thing over here and then we’re going to come over to this corner we’re just going to break that out and place down two quartz pillar blocks and a lantern on top of it

Now what we’re going to do is for the railings we’re going to take our smooth quartz stairs i just placed a pillar block there so i could place the stair off of it and we’re going to place them upside down just like that so that’s really the

Effect that it’s going to give it’s going to give that nice railing look and we’re just going to place that on top of all of the uh white terracotta blocks but then once we get over to this area then we’re going to stop so i’ll show

You what to do next from over there okay so once we get to this area over here we’re going to go seven blocks in so one two three four five six and on the seventh block we’re going to place down one quartz pillar with a lantern on top of it

Then we’re going to place down some upside down smooth quartz stairs and then four blocks away from that so one two three four i’m just going to place a block place down three of the upside down stairs and then break that out and that is going to be the complete

Railings and stairs leading into the pool area so this is what the build should look like so far next up what we’re going to do is we’re going to build a wall area over here and some stairs leading up to the main patio of the house

So for this we’re going to go over to this block right here we’re gonna take our quartz pillar and place down five just like that and then we’re gonna put a lantern on top of it then we’re gonna go over here and do the exact same thing off of this corner

Block so one two three four five with a lantern on top then we’re gonna take our white terracotta and over this half circle right here this half circle outline we’re gonna place down three on top of each of them so one one two three one two three we’re just going to

Continue doing that all the way around okay and now that we have that we’re going to take out our quartz pillar again we’re going to go off of these two side blocks right here and break out two and then place down one two three four on each of them

And then place a lantern on top again next what we’re going to do is we’re going to take out our smooth quartz stairs we’re going to place down upside down stairs on top of all of these white terracotta blocks that we just placed so this is what it’s going to look like

For one side let’s put that down on the other side now as well now that we’ve got that we’re going to continue using our smooth quartz stairs and we’re going to place down some upside down stairs to make the railing which is similar to what we did down there

Actually it’s the exact same thing so we’re just going to do that over all of these stairs that we just now that we just placed so let’s get the other side here as well okay now that we have that next up what we’re going to do is we’re

Going to take out our smooth sandstone stairs we’re just going to place down three right here let’s put a lantern right here just to keep any mobs from spawning then we’re just going to place down three more and we’re going to bring them all the way down until they reach the the ground

Then we’re going to take out our white terracotta place down three right here two and then one same thing over here three two one then we’re going to take out our smooth quartz stairs i’m going to place them down upside down just like that on each side

And then we’re also going to take out our lanterns and place down one on each side right there so this is what it should look like so far and this is what the entire build should look like so far so next up we’re going to come over here and we’re

Going to build this wall and then another set of stairs right here so for this we’re going to take out our white terracotta and again place three just like that along this entire outline right here and then again we’re going to take out our smooth court stairs and place them down upside down

Just like this along that and then we’re going to take out actually let’s take out our quartz pillar block and place down one two three four five six just like that and then a lantern on top of it and then we’re going to take out our smooth court stairs and placed them down

Upside down to make the railing effect now we’ve got the wall complete so now we’re going to work on the stairs so we’re just going to go one two three blocks away and on the fourth block we’re going to build up six quartz pillars with a lantern on top

And then in between those on one block down we’re going to place three smooth sandstone stairs and then we’re just going to do the same thing that we did before let’s also place lantern here so that no mobs spawn and we’re going to build these down until they reach the ground now over

Here let’s just sneak under here and place down three uh white terracotta right there and then on this side we’re gonna place one two three one two and then one and then we’re going to place our upside down smooth quartz stairs like so with a lantern on the last one

Now what we’re going to do next is we’re going to take out our grass block a composter you’re going to need two of these and then some oak leaves and what we’re going to do here is we’re going to go off of this block and place down seven

Then we’re going to take out our composter we’re going to place one here and then another two blocks away then we’re going to place down some oak leaves on top of each of those so now this is the completed patio the first patio of the build and now this

Part of the build is finished so once we’ve completed this first pool and patio area we’re then going to move over to the left hand side and there’s going to be a new outline so let me just hover over here really quick so you can go ahead and

Pause the video and then get this outline done and just for reference point this is where it goes off of it goes off of this pillar block right here but once you have that outline done let me show it again here really quick so go ahead and pause the video so you

Can get that outline done and then we’re going to take out our white terracot again and on all of these blocks we’re just going to place down one over the entire outline that you just placed then we’re going to go over to this block right here

This is one of the one blocks and it’s going to be the one on the outer edge of the circle and place down three stripped spruce wood so one two three there then we’re going to go over to this side and do the exact same thing one two three so this is what

It should look like now now we’re going to take out our white terracotta again and we’re just going to place down three blocks on top of all of the other white terracotta that we already placed so let’s go ahead and do that next what we’re going to do is we’re

Going to take out our smooth quartz stairs and we’re going to place an upside down stair just like this on top of all of those white terracotta blocks that we just placed Okay and once we’ve got that part done then we’re going to continue using our smooth quartz stairs and we’re going to place them upside down on top of that layer to make the railing all right and now that we’ve got that part complete next up we’re going to

Take out our smooth court stairs we’re going to go off of this block right here and place down nine once we’ve got that then we’re going to turn and place down two and then we’re going to place down three off of this block and keep in mind these are all upside down

So three and then two and then one right here let’s flip it upside down and then we’re going to place down two and then three so three and then we’re going to place down six so one two three four five six then we’re going to place down three so one two three

And then two so two and then we’re going to place down one and then two three and then four three four so it should end up lining up with this with the end of this white concrete wall right here or white terracotta wall okay and once we’ve got that part done

Then we’re going to take out our green terracotta we’re going to come over here place down three right there and we’re going to take our grass block and place down two layers so just like that and then we’re gonna place down two layers of green terracotta and then

Two more of grass block and we’re just gonna continue this pattern all the way through this so i’m gonna speed this part up a bit now what we’re going to do is we’re going to take out our oak leaves we’re going to go over here and we’re

Going to place down one block away so right here and then we’re going to continue placing them down all the way over here then we’re going to place down three then three and then one one one and then three and then four and then we’re gonna continue we’re

Gonna just copy that same pattern here so three one one one three and then three so this is what it should look like once you’re done with that next up we’re going to take our smooth quartz stairs and some lanterns we’re gonna come over here we’re just

Gonna go one two three and then on the fourth block we’re gonna place an upside down stair and then put a lantern on top of it and we’re gonna do the same thing over here so on the fourth block right here there should be a gap of three in between

Then we’re gonna come over here and off of this block right here we’re gonna do the same thing and then we’ll also do that right here and there so now this part is complete so this is what the entire build should look like so far

Next up we’re going to move on to the right and we’ve got another outline here so let me just hover over this really quick so go ahead and pause the video so you can copy that down and just for reference again this outline starts based off of this outer pillar right here so

I’ll show the outline again so that you can pause the video and copy it down once you’ve got that complete then we’re going to take out our white terracotta and we’re going to place down four on top of each of this outline so one two three four

One two three four just like that and continue that all the way down around this outline okay and once we’ve got that then we’re going to take out our smooth court stairs and place down an upside down stair on top of that layer Then we’re going to continue using our smooth chord stairs and off of this block we’re just going to place down one two three four five six seven eight nine ten just like that and those are all upside down then we’re going to come over here we’re going to place down from this

Block right here we’re just going to bring this down all the way until we run into the wall so just like that then we’re going to take our grass block and place down two layers here just like that then the same with our green terracotta and then

We’re going to continue this pattern all the way down next we’re going to take out a composter we’re going to place one here and then go over three blocks and on the fourth block we’re going to place down another one then we’re going to do the same thing on

The fourth block from that we’re going to place another then we’re going to take out our oak leaves and place down two above each of those then we’re going to take out a smooth cord stair and place down an upside down one in between there and there

With a lantern on top of each of those so this is what this part is going to look like now so far and this is what the entire build should look like so far so this is now the complete front section of the base of the house

Next up what we’re going to do is we’re going to come over to this left side here you can see that there’s two outlines and we’re going to come over to this outline right here and let me just hover over it so that you can see the

Outline it should be about 29 blocks long i’m gonna have it up on the screen how long it actually is but go ahead and pause the video so that you can copy down that outline and then once you’ve done that we’re going to take out our white terracotta

And we’re going to place down four blocks over each of these so one two three four one two three four and then we’re just going to continue that all the way down so let me speed this up a little bit now we’re going to take out our smooth

Court stairs and we’re going to place down an upside down layer over those four white terracotta blocks once we get to the end here we are going to extend this layer by one and i like to place it on the side so that it gets this uh corner piece here

So now that we’ve done that we’re going to come over here and we’re going to place down five upside down stairs so there’s one two three four five then we’re going to take out our white terracotta we’re going to place down one right here and off of each side of it

We’re going to place down two more just like that then off of this we’re gonna place down four so one two three four and four off of that one two three four and we’re going to fill this in so we’ve got a five by five square right here of

White terracotta next what we’re going to do is we’re going to take out our smooth quartz slabs we’re going to cover that up just like so and now off of this block right here the middle block we’re going to have our smooth quartz stairs and we’re going to place down three

Upside down right there now we’re going to build another 5×5 square of white terracotta just like we did before and of course again we’re going to cover it up with our smooth quartz slabs next what we’re going to do is we’re going to continue with our smooth court

Stairs we’re going to place down five off of this so one two three four five then we’re going to place down three right here so one two three then we’re gonna place down two so one two then we’re going to place down one right here at the end

So this is what it’s going to look like so far now with these uh five by five squares that we made we’re going to fill these in with grass blocks and do that for both of them of course then we’re going to come back over here and we’re going to continue this pattern

Of green terracotta and grass blocks all the way throughout the rest of the space right here Next we’re going to take out our oak leaves and right here we’re going to just place five so one two three four five now we’re going to come over here and place down three then we’re going to come over here place down five again so one two three four

Five then three one two three and then that’s going to be it for the oak leaves next we’re going to come over here and we’re going to line up off of this middle block right here and place down one upside down stair so it’s going to be lined up perfectly

In the center of this 5×5 square then we’re going to go three blocks over and on the fourth block placed on another one so there’s a gap of three right here and we’re just going to do the same thing so another gap of three and on the

Fourth block we’re going to place down another right there then once more so now we’re going to have one two three four then we’re gonna come over here to this side and do the same thing and then we’re gonna just place down some lanterns on top of each of those

So at the end it should look like this so next what we’re going to do is we’re going to come over here to the right hand side of the build and as you can see there’s a new outline here so go ahead and pause the video

Go ahead and pause the video right about now so that you can copy down this outline and then once we’ve gotten that down we’re going to take out our quartz pillar and on all of the purple blocks we’re going to place five so one two three four five right there

One two three four five one two three four five and then one two three four five now that we’ve gotten that part down we’re going to place down white terracotta four layers on top of each of the uh white and orange outline so one two three four just like that

One two three four and we’re just going to continue that down on each of these three sections here Okay now that we’ve got that part complete we’re then going to take our smooth court stairs and place down an upside down layer connecting each of the quartz pillars just like this this is at the top layer of the quartz pillars so once you’re done here this is how it should look

And now we’re going to do once we have this is we’re going to take out our white terracotta again and off of this block diagonal from this quartz pillar here we’re going to place down one two three four five and then four one two three four then another four one two three four

And then connect them right here so we’ve got another of these uh five by five uh squares then we’re going to take out our smooth chord slab again and cover that up and then just like the other ones on the left hand side we are going to fill it all in with

Grass just like that now what we’re going to do is we’re going to take out a composter we’re going to place down one right here and then place down two oak leaves on top of it then on each side of it we’re going to place down one upside down

Smooth quartz stair and then a lantern and we’re gonna do it just like that so now this is going to be the complete right hand side of this portion of the build so far so now this is what the entire build should look like so far

And as you can see there are now two new outlines so let’s go over to the right hand side of the build over here let me just hover over this outline right here so go ahead and pause the video so that you can copy down this outline and then once you’ve got that

Part down we’re then going to take out our quartz pillar block and on all the purple blocks we’re going to do the same as on this side i’m just going to place down five so one two three four five then over here we’re going to do one two three four five

One two three four five there should be a gap of three between these two right here and then there’s one more over here so one two three four five next up what we’re going to do is we’re going to place down three layers for four layers i mean one two three four

One two three four so four layers of white terracotta on all of the orange and white outline here so let’s just continue that all the way down now that we have that part done we’re then going to take out our smooth quartz stairs and place down an upside down layer connecting

All of the quartz pillars then once that part is complete the final step for this part of the outline is we’re going to take a composter and place it right here and then two oak leaves right on top of that so now this is what this corner of the build should look like

Next up what we’re going to do is we’re going to go to the right hand side which actually if you’re facing the front is the left hand side and then we’re going to copy down this outline right here so go ahead and pause the video right now so you can copy down

This outline and then once you’ve got that part done we’re then going to take out our quartz pillar block again and place down five on all the purple so one two three four five one two three four five there one two two three four five

And then the last one one two three four five so there should be four total quartz pillars right there then we’re going to do the same as over there and we’re going to take out our white terracotta and place down four on top of all of this outline right here so one

Two three four one two three four just like that so now let’s continue that all the way down until we reach the end and then finally for the last step of this part of the outline we’re going to take out our smooth quartz stairs and we’re going to place an upside down

Layer connecting the top block of all of the quartz pillars now what we’re going to do next is we’re actually going to go back to the front right hand side there’s something that i forgot to do over here and what we’re going to do is we’re going to take out our oak leaves

And off of this block right here we’re going to just place down one and then another one and then two then three and then two one one one and then two three two one and then one there all right so this is what the entire

Build is going to look like so far so next up we’re going to then come over here to the back center of the build and we’re going to put down this one last final outline so go ahead and pause the video right now so you can copy down this outline

And then once we’ve got that we’re going to come over here to these two purple blocks and we’re going to place down five quartz pillars on top of each of those so there’s five there four five right there as well then over all of the rest of the outline

We’re going to place down four white terracotta blocks on each of these so one two three four one two three four and we’re going to continue that all the way down to the end right there okay next up what we’re going to do is we’re going to come over here and we’re

Going to take our smooth court stairs we’re going to place down an upside down layer just like so connecting the top of these quartz pillar blocks and then once we get to this part right here we’re going to place down two more right there and then we’re going to

Place down a third right there and now we’re going to start placing the upside down stairs on top of this layer of white terracotta blocks instead of one block forward so let’s continue doing that all the way until we reach the end of this half circle

Then we’re going to switch it back up to a block extended outwards alright so now once we get to this part right here we are then going to place down two more blocks right there just like that and then once we’ve got that part done we’re gonna come over here we’re gonna

Place down one composter and then two oak leaves on top of it just like that and now this is what the back part of the build should look like so far and with that now we’ve got the entire base of the build complete and with that
