Minecraft Java Player Plays Bedrock | Is Bedrock Edition Bad?

Hey what’s up I’m Switchback what have I gotten myself into what what am I doing why am I even in this am I gonna be torturing myself I don’t know all right today we’re gonna try something a bit different for those of you that don’t know me I’m a Java Minecraft

Player I’ve been playing for almost two years and more specifically I’ve been playing in my hardcore series for the past eight months now the majority of players all agree that Java is the superior platform but I’d like to play through both versions before I come up

With that judgment so today I’m going to play all the way through Minecraft Bedrock Edition from Spawn to dragon fight and I think we know how this is gonna go if you like the video come check out the hardcore series I got episodes out every Wednesday and streams

A lot different from java and I wanted to try playing it so what I plan to do I’m gonna start a survival world it’s not gonna be a series I think it’s gonna be a one episode thing obviously I can’t do everything the game has to offer in

One episode so that might bring it back I might bring it back I’m gonna hop into a survival world and I’m gonna get all the way to the dragon fight and hopefully beat it I hope I don’t die even though I know the dragon fight’s gonna be scuffed in Bedrock but anyway

Aren’t very good what am I what is my trunk loading at the whole menu is just so slow where’s the trunk loading 64 trunks yeah I don’t need that I know the game is like way more capable of loading trunks but I don’t need 64 chunks hopefully this will help with the frames

A little bit why oh my God why I’m not gonna lie to y’all I loaded into another world about a week ago and every single Village I find wow every single Village I find is an abandoned Village why is every village abandoned I don’t think I’ve seen a real Village in this game

Yet at least you got food also how did I already used almost half of my Hunger what we got two jungles we do have two jungles oh we got a temple out there I gotta get out there four mob spawn in there man you go through hunger so fast

What the heck 72 wait how is that in a what that was weird I think it’s worth going in a cave to get iron I’m not used to doing that through speed runs I’m used to like running to a village that isn’t abandoned and finding iron or finding a

Golem at least there’s another Village it better not be abandoned let’s hop in here let’s see if we can get no mobs nice yeah something just does not feel right about the controls in here I like how they animate the whole crafting menu like your whole inventory system but

They don’t animate the health like they do in Java oh there we go that’s a good amount of iron I might as well take string either craft beds why would I craft beds though you can’t one cycle the dragon in Bedrock can you all right is this abandoned no I think

It has a lot of places where it doesn’t but right now as I’m recording this I’ve edited up everything up until now so I think I’ve played enough to have some opinions on the game now even though I know there’s a lot further that I could

Go but let’s start with the bad let’s start with what I think is absolutely terrible about this game a the food you run out of food so fast not really that doesn’t bother me I’m just saying that because I had to eat right then Badlands are just so beautiful I don’t care what

Anyone says I don’t care what the name says these this is beautiful right here okay what do I actually think is bad the biggest thing the biggest thing that makes this feel like a knockoff I think overall it kind of does feel like a knockoff but I suppose it depends on

Your play style and that’s because all the combat the combat is broken the gas behave nothing like they do in job the dragon certainly behaves nothing like it does in Java I had a lot of issues with the piglens skeletons feel a little bit different I wonder if I get MLG bucket

Off of here nope pairing with the combat and something that I experienced in the dragon fight and while I was trying to kill my Enderman tools definitely run out a lot faster than they do in Java I don’t think I’ve had iron tools break other than the pickaxe I don’t think

I’ve had any iron tool break before but I think I went through three swords in this video I mean look when when I started talking how much bread did I have in my inventory look how much I’ve run out of now maybe I am maybe I am

Upset about the food now Behavior I get behavior in two totally different coding languages is gonna be really hard to make similar but something as simple as tool durability I feel like should be easy to replicate from one version to the other I’m Legit I’m Legit gonna run out of
