Minecraft Kingdoms S7 E1 – The Castle Timelapse – 4k/60fps

So the update for 1.18 caves and cliffs is so inspiring we came across this incredible seed and location and thought hey why not build a lush cave full of amethyst shields and on top of it stick the biggest most epic realistic and working castle we’ve ever built in

Minecraft first of all we stripped out a bit of land using some world edit tools added some water back in and this is what we have a place for a wonderful cave underneath and a nice plateau on top for a mega castle by the way two

Our cave is dug and filled with water all we have to do is decorate the cave let’s have a look beautiful stone columns holding the place up there’ll be a space for a trading center where ships could dock but first of all let’s make it look absolutely epic with the drip stone

Blocks stalactites and stalac mites we’ve got these lush bushy things which give off light which are awesome i think and walkways to get from one place to the cave to another a spiral staircase leads us down over to this part we’ll put a defensive wall to keep out all the

Baddies of course but then also make a little place where a dock could be built and then goods could be transported up this melon vapor sorry elevator all the way up to to the top of the castle and of course wow we’re so inspired by these caves

It’s just wonderful to be able to build with uh blocks that light up like the glow lichen and the lush berries so here’s the team big shout out and thank you to all the builders we’ll see the names at the end of the video they are patreons and youtube channel members

And not only do they get to build with me but they get to download everything we’ve been building since 2019 and that is 10 years worth of buildings and maps if you’re watching this in 2029 of course now the fortifications at the front of this castle need to do a couple

Of things provide a route a difficult route up and into the castle on foot up through staircases on these towers along corridors and up more stairs very difficult to attack this castle uh in that case we had a number of designs for this part but we decided to make the staircases to

Spiral staircases inside the towers and that is the main way of getting up and into the castle it also needs to provide some fortifications where you could fire down on boats or anyone trying to attack this castle and i guess every attack really needs to do needs to come by boat

Along the lakeside here is a difficult climb up some stairs where you could be fired down upon by arrows maybe some hot water poured on your rock on your rock on your head and then rocks fired at your head yeah rocks fired at your head um so let’s have a look

Here is the gang the team they are incredible builders and now they’re simulating a little attack on this part of the castle it’s complete with a port callus gate at the front there uh as well so this outer castle section at the top here is our

Next job so some nice big round walls to provide more fortification and defense and then we want to do two things we want to build a farm maybe it’s kind of a siege farm where if you were desperate for food you could grow it in the area

That we’ve just cleared out and made into grass that would give you just enough food to keep everyone going and at the other side a village and that village on this side here will contain things like maybe a tailor a baker a butcher and a blacksmith things that would just keep the castle

Ticking over and keep everything repaired sharp and pointy and ready to go extra bits of battlement at the front of the castle right here and a better entryway as well we made a little teeny tiny drawbridge so any invading army has to come over quite quite a small

Drawbridge by the way a little bit of space in the bottom left of the picture here we’re going to be making some mouse mats for my merch a lot of people have been asking for cajar city mouse mat so check out uh the link below to my merch and hopefully within

The next week will these max mats will be ready for purchase gadget city mouse mats can’t wait to get my hands on one okay so this outer castle jj designed this amazing ramp system and then we dug down into the ground and we’re gonna be making a little farm with four quadrants

One of which will contain animals the other three crops and then some more kind of farmy buildings around the outside a little uh house uh built by ec gaming thank you for your help building by the way very much appreciated we’ve got some berries some bushies some melons pumpkins uh

A bee farms a bee farm and apiary summer we would harvest honey we’ve also got um we were going to have a teeny tiny windmill because i had to go for an orchard instead once that was done turned our attention to the other side and this is where

We’re going to have little houses and almost a mini village everyone’s going to have a profession whether a herbalist a blacksmith maybe a warehouse trader a tailor a baker and these are the kind of things oh and a stone mason we squeeze in a stone mason as well

So to go for these beautiful blue roofs blue cyan blue wool and cyan concrete powder as well we use the antisoda 5×5 building system for these little houses where most of them anyway as well we have a market down here for trading as well and at the back of the picture at the

Top there’s also where the crane comes up from the docks below so everything is kind of winched up on a crane and we’ll take a tour at the end of this video and i’ll show you that so there we go that’s the outer part of the castle done

And now we’re on to the inner part of the castle and we have this epic plan and big shout out to uh johnny who made this incredible plan for us let’s have a look exactly how it works all right here’s our plan for the basement level you’ll walk into

The main part of the castle this way will be some steps down and round into the armory armory room not easy to say connects to a dungeon here will be a treasury i think four is a guard room five and six are stores oh you’ll go down these stairs to a crypt

Uh around this corner and under this room that’s where the crypt will be but this room will actually be a wine room a wine cellar and there’ll be access to this wine cellar through here and this leads you into store rooms on the sevens and servant quarters bedrooms for the servants with

Windows as you can see out there on the eights and in number nine is our kitchen uh here will be a stairwell here for the servants yeah big shout out to johnny phantom who did the the initial planning for the castle the big circular part at the back

Is going to be the royal apartment it’s going to have the royal throne room and royal bedrooms as well as connections to an epic library coming up as well so first of all we built everything in yellow wool and then we did made the interior walls out of stone brick

Um the crypt is already built it was quite hard to capture on a time lapse so we’ll show you that in the tour after the building part of the video is done we’re putting in a castle on the castle putting in a kitchen on the left-hand side there

Building all the storerooms the servants quarters the offices putting on some ceilings changing everything into a mixture of deep slate bricks and cracked deep slate bricks on the outside a few trees and the main pathway going in as well we’re digging down into the circular dungeon on this kind of mid-right and

We’ve built the armory uh as well very hard to capture a lot of the furnishing in this video but we will take a quick flyby tour uh at the end so here we are on to the next level up we’ve got to put in the ceilings

Uh for the previous level and then the floor coverings for this level this is going to be the ground level it’s slightly raised there will be some steps to climb up to this level floors are going in steps are starting to go in and the royal apartments are starting to

Take shape let’s have a look at the plans okay here we are at ground level you continue on up some steps here and into the main part of the castle here this part here will be above the armory number one it’s gonna be the guards dining hall which connects through to a

Mess hall uh just a recreation room for the guards there’ll be some a window probably here or here that’ll connect through here to this guard room which guards the main entrance to the royal apartments remember the royal apartments is this kind of area here number five will be a circular double height hallway

With rooms off at number six and a are just offices and number seven is going to be a big temple at the back of the build number nine is going to be for a banqueting a huge dining hall number 10 is a staircase and number 11 is going to

Be like um i call it a living room or a sitting room just a general room with a nice big fireplace right here there’ll be an alternative entrance probably through here possibly with some big towers along here here here here and here this room probably won’t exist let’s get it done

So one of our main jobs was to make the the banquet rooms you’ll see a couple of huge tables going in soon and we’ve got the living room on the bottom right we’ve got the mess hall circular in the mid left a couple of offices and we’ve also got

The start of the temple on the far side as well with its very very fancy windows big shout out to sarasvin and also jj who really took the lead on the temple especially saraswat who really um took an enormous amount of time to get the windows correct okay so the living room

The banquet hall are already in we’re going to zoom in on this which is going to be kind of a mess hall recreation room for all the guards this is their main hangout joint as well they’ve even got a bar for some beer which is quite luxurious really in this castle maybe

It’s mead and not quite as potent so there’s the ceilings going on to all the banquet rooms the offices the treasury uh was down below and then we’re on to the level above now this level above we’re going to be having a great room uh some bedrooms

I’m going to be having a meeting room and just a few more offices also a map room as well these are things to look out for this is the temple at the back isn’t that absolutely magnificent what a job by saraswat look at that detail turning into kind of a 3d tower

On top great windows just centering things adding in awesome detail little balconies off the side of the temple temple should be a nice relaxing place as well okay so on this level we’re going to be having some bedrooms here they are furnished by ec gaming

We’ll have a quick look at them later on and then this is the main room for this level this is going to be what’s called the great room and castles often had a great room heated by a massive fireplace a really fancy ceiling uh shout out to

Darksaber for taking the lead on the ceiling here we’ll have some comfortable seating some tables and chairs and also some really cool uh windows where you can walk out and get a really good view as well kind of sunken windows into the build we’re just trying to center everything

Here you can see with the yellow wool the blue wool helping us build in creative mode plenty of nice wooden trim an epic table a chandelier going in and the the room is ready at the same time as we were doing that we’re starting to build this

Room which is going to be like a council meeting room with an office off to the right maybe for the mayor of the village so this meeting room has some fancy walls it also has plenty of books and a big round table in the middle with a map on it as

Well we’re also going to have a separate map room as well which i think is being built pretty much at the same time as this ceilings to go on roofs to go on and we’re on up to the next level in the red circle we’re going to be having an

Epic triple height library ec gaming taking the lead on that and then in the green section here soon to be nether bricks we’re going to be having a throne room and the royal apartments royal bedrooms bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes as well you can see the library taking shape

With its wooden interior if you’re building castles highly recommend you make your walls three blocks thick that way you can dig into the walls you can have interior decorations and you can also have your outer walls as well shout out to stinging stinging dot tv who came onto the server

Fresh after his stream on twitch check out stinging on twitch link below and he helped us with these wizard hat roofs for our towers we did go a bit crazy and start putting them everywhere but don’t worry later on in the video we start to cut out some of these wizard

Hat towers and just use them in appropriate places you can see the start of the the front of the castle is really starting to take shape with towers with archways and with decent uh walkways and entrances into the castle here is a large medieval shaped uh

Pointy roof going to be uh over the the bedrooms we’ll have an attic in there again furnished by dark saber great progress some towers springing up some more wizard hat roofs going on top you can see we went a bit crazy with the pointy roofs but we’ll we’ll we’ll

Temper that down later on and reduce them a bit anyway we were nearly finished this was a good part of the video a good part of the build i should say we were building the front entrance up as well finishing off the tops of the windows the towers and then onto the royal

Apartments and we started by furnishing the throne room shout out to ed chin josh who did a great job uh firing the furnishing this throne room couple of nice big thrown chairs and an awesome carpet at the front jj took the lead here jjt cake aka kkdex

Studios on youtube he built the roof of the temple and that worked out really nicely and now it’s time for the royal uh bedroom complete with desks bed chairs and luxurious furnishings now we had room up top to build three more amazing bedrooms complete with balconies on the corners can’t wait to

Show you these actually in the tour these worked out really really nicely three epic bedrooms where you’d put your most important guests maybe your relatives could be here as well if princess and princesses and dukes and duchesses were coming to stay they’d stay in these royal apartment bedrooms upstairs

And that was all the rooms we really wanted to build we just had to finish off the top of the castle and make it look pretty epic we could build really high so we had the extra build room that 1.18 gives us we decided to make a garden

Some colonnades a bit of a farm inside as well a nice dome some extra rooms up top we added on some more wizard hat towers moved the donut the dome up yet again added some columns some nice trim on top of the castle and a week of building was finished we were so

Here with someone stuck in a bucket of water uh up and through here underneath the wine cellar we have our crypt and again this wasn’t really showing very well on the time lapse so there we go crypt where all the dead bodies would be stored

Uh safe and sound and then we can climb up here we have a treasure room in here and a guards room i think in a few more store rooms over there i want to kind of hyper space through here up to this room uh the banquet room and look at the size of

These windows i love these windows on the side absolutely fantastic deep slight such a great block to work with and then through here we’ll have a living room as well but below that we have the kitchen and we have a a pig on the roast and some kilns over here um

What i haven’t quite done in this build is take this chimney and bring it up and out of the build so that’s definitely a task for me to do i’ve got the chimney going to there but i haven’t brought it out the whole build that’s definitely

Something to do um so i showed you the banquet room above the banquet room there’s the banquet room down there above that is the great room so isn’t it a great room do you think it’s great i think it’s pretty great big cozy fireplace and again some nice little alcoves in the windows

Another couple of highlights in this build would be through here the map room if you had to finish off the map got the main bit on through here would be the meeting room and above this a spectacular library this library by ec gaming we absolutely love this fantastic double height library wow

It’s absolutely epic and then of course through here would be the thr no these are oh these are the extra bedrooms i wanted to show you so these are these kind of royal apartments up here but look at this the little corner corner balconies i think it’s pretty cool little bridge

Across there to that bit uh yeah look at that three little corner balconies and then you can go through here into the royal apartments and above them we’ve got open garden areas spiral staircase and up for the rest of the build but that will do don’t want to keep you too long
