Minecraft Let’s Play – The Witch Tower Episode 11

Hello everybody and welcome back to another minecraft let’s play with heroic legacy today we are going to be taking on our wizard tower uh build and we are going to do it right there with those logs are set up which means we’re going to have to do

Some landscaping around here and kind of taking out some of those trees taking out some of the dirt and just clearing out the area maybe adding more water and just making it a little bit bigger so that our build doesn’t look so crammed in the corner and eventually

We’ll build a little bridge to it and i want to make it pretty big so that’s why i didn’t want to make it too close to this and we might even eventually have to put something else a little taller maybe a little tower or something on the side there just to

Even it out but i got a nice design plan for it so let’s do it All right so i got it pretty cleared out made it kind of bigger over there i’m only doing a seven by seven wide it’s probably a little bit bigger um at the base and everything but that’s kind of like the dimensions i’ll be going for on the actual building

Kind of like a tower kind of thing that’s why we’re calling the wizard tower but we are in a swamp so it might be like the witch tower right pretty cool um so i got a lot of a lot of stuff from this because i had to

Clear out so many trees and so much dirt and so whoops ah so we got like these things that are in our inventory we’ve got not that not that all of this from right here um some of that mostly all of this except these little things

All of this not the not the coal but all of this and then like the the bark or the logs and the leaves all of that from this area so yeah i took a lot of i had to repair my axe we got a lot of wood from it and a lot

Of dirt and stuff so that might be nice to use later but now we’re gonna start on this build and if we after we’re done feel like it needs to get pushed back more than we will otherwise it looks pretty good i like how open it looks now um i kind of

Left a little bit of the beach here so push back the trees because they were kind of right on the edge and stuff kind of taking up our space so i pushed back the trees left a little bit of kind of a beach walking area and then over here i

Exposed this little mountain kind of thing so maybe we’ll do some of that later kind of nice and so for now let’s get started on our build alright so we’re doing seven by seven so three four five six and then we’re going oh i also put a bunch of grass around

Here to make it look like it was naturally built this way and we’re going eight above the water no six above the water and then connecting these as well seven so we’ve got a seven by seven square and we’re gonna go ahead and connect this all right and then we’re gonna also

Take these and we’re gonna make these pillars a little bigger we’re gonna go really high up with these it’s gonna be like our support systems that way it’s a little more than just you know a one one like thing holding it up more like uh more like pillars that are holding it

Up so it’s more stable all right so we got our pillars they might go up probably a lot higher than this and now we’re gonna strip our logs it’s gonna have a similar look to that one but it’s gonna be definitely different um not just in the architecture but in the

Actual you know layout of it what materials and stuff we’re going to use these are going to be the same and then we’re going to definitely give it a different look to it all right so we got the last of it is that it kind of dark over here let’s go

Take a sleepy and if you missed last episode this is what we did down underneath our main base our center base made a little sugar cane farm and it looks really nice every time i stand up here i’m like oh yeah i like that and then even this last episode

Got the farms finished up which we probably will have to harvest pretty soon and i’m still waiting on comments of what song you guys want me to make for when we enter the the farm area but yeah i like the way this looks looks really nice really clean

And from a distance that’s what we got so far so another if you guys have been with me the whole time you guys kind of seen that when we built this one and it’s just another one coming up it’s gonna be a lot better too so stay with me

All right so on the the walls here we’re gonna be using stone we’re going to kind of like randomize it we’re going to use cobblestone in here a little bit of polish andesite and some andesite see that nice texture there and it’ll be kind of random and not so random

And we don’t want there to be like any similar blocks kind of too much in the same spot so we’ll kind of try and spread it out as much as we can and get something like that and we’re gonna do that on all the walls

And then what we’re gonna do is i think have doors on all of these spots in the middle so we’ll need to do that Kind of sort of randomize all this like a so i’m gonna do that all the way up and we’re gonna go up i think eight high okay and then we’re also going to not let things spawn over here because it’s getting dark we’re also gonna do

The same thing over there and make a little dock around here so do three out on all sides so it’ll give us kind of like the same look over there little edges a little bit of dimension same here and three and two three one two

Three all the way around so i have this dock kind of just like that one and then we’ll probably build up little pillars just like that one over there maybe a little different we’ll see how this one turns out first and then we’ll get to the top and we’re

Going to do something different on the top so it’s definitely has a similar feel like it blends in with this but it’s going to have its own decoration its own character and i think it’s going to look really nice so let’s go ahead and do that

All right so we got our walls here here we got our walls here built all the way up eight tall and now we’re gonna start using and the site oh diary i’m sorry i’ve been using anthocyte diorite and polish diorite for the top so stay with me because this is about to

Get interesting all right so we’re gonna head and the pillars are up here even with the wall and we’re gonna have and extend this out and so we’re going to kind of almost have like a kind of like a bigger square on top of a smaller square or a bigger rectangle on

Top of a smaller rectangle and it’ll look pretty nice once it’s all done and what we’re going to do is basically we’re going to do one up so this would be like our floor and what we’re going to do is so we’ll go all the way across

All right so we got our box out right here we’re going to do is go 6 up 2 3 4 5 6. over 1 up 1 2 3 4 5. and then same here so one two three four five and one over there one down what we’re going to have on all

These sides is this kind of circular type thing so we’re going to do that on all sides kind of circle on both sides all sides actually and then what we’re going to do is we’re going to kind of throw in some of this uh polished andesite in different places give it some variation

Make it look so nice and look at that already looks pretty good it’s got like that nice look and then that almost like run down look to it for sure and then what we’re gonna do is the same thing but kind of out more so have three by three

So we’ll get this kind of circular look and on the inside we kind of have these arches in a way um and then we’re gonna of course throw these in here give it that variation we were talking about very nice i’m gonna do that on all sides

All right so we got these kind of like circular windows that we’re gonna have and if we take a look it’s kind of dark i guess let’s see oh yeah so it’s kind of like this tower like looking and it looks kind of strange right now but once we get the

Outside finished and the roof and everything we have a nice pointy roof on it it’s gonna look really nice all right everyone i have the one side of it done i have one side of it done well the you saw what it was i told you i was going to

Put the roof on it and i also got the front designed nicely and there it is definitely not finished yet the other sides aren’t done but it’s kind of got this like nice witch towery look i wasn’t gonna do the purple actually but then i looked inside and i saw like the

The purple shulker boxes and i was like wow that looks really nice and we’re going for this witch tower look and so i thought that that was a good idea let’s go ahead and get it around the side so this is what it looked like

And then this is what we kind of turned it out to be i want to do the same on all sides my original plan is to kind of you know make four doors kind of make it easy to get in here um and we’re not going to do interior yet

Interior design yet but yeah i think it looks pretty good and then the top i was originally going to do chains but i put the ender rods on there and i kind of like it that way and so i got this kind of like textured roof look that looks nice

Um that way it’s not all the same oh gosh oh my gosh oh that was a fail that was a really big fail but i’ve got to do this to all the sides now and i don’t think we’re going to get around to this uh interior yet but i want to

Do some sort of stairwell and then put our our enchanting table and stuff up there i’m not sure how i’m gonna do that yet but i will figure that out and for now i’m gonna try to finish these off i’m not gonna be i’m not sure if i’m gonna be able to do

It this episode um it it’s been a really long time since i’ve posted uh it’s almost been probably two weeks since i posted and i’m really sorry for all of those that are actually watching this um and have been with me this whole time if you have

Been waiting for this video thank you guys i really appreciate it i’m glad that i have viewers that are wanting more and if that’s you thank you so much i really appreciate it guys and if you’re new then that’s great um then you didn’t me

It didn’t feel like two weeks to you at all but it’s just been really busy i had a lot of schoolwork and i’m working on top of that too so forgive me for for not posting sooner but uh i have time right now i’m going to try to get these sides done

But you know we might not be able to get both all three i mean maybe what i’ll do is i’ll make this back side the exact same and then see if we can do something maybe different on these i’m not sure i think the the whole

It’s got like this clock feel to it with the whole circles and everything i think we have to do that on all the sides kind of like a like a big bin tower or something but yeah i like it and so let’s go ahead and do that and let’s see

If we can finish this out and get this guy get this um episode posted for you guys uh but yeah thank you so much all right so this is the other side and this also gives you a better look of what it looks like at night time oh man

This area is like the worst for spawning there’s spawn so many things but yeah i think at night time that’s kind of why i like the inner rods on top it really brightens it all up at the top i might need to incorporate something maybe some light down there

Somehow i’m not sure yet maybe some shroom lights that might give it some more we just don’t have any more of those because we use them in our beautiful farm over there but yeah this is the other side so they’re both the same um i thought maybe a good way of you

Know providing some sort of variation would be to do different colored windows i think they the purple looks really nice but i think maybe like a yellow a red maybe a green those might be like good witchy colors i guess i think maybe doing one on every

Side will almost give it that like what would you call it like kind of like elemental colors kind of like earth fire wind kind of thing i know purple’s not in there but i know you know kind of gives you that like magical vibe to it

And so yeah i think maybe i’ll do that maybe i won’t do purple on all sides i’ll leave that for now um tell me what you guys think in the comments but yeah i think it may be purple yellow red green those might be good ones maybe blue instead of green

Not sure but yeah i think that would be cool but yeah i do like the amber the i’m sorry the in rods at the top and yeah it looks pretty good there’s it looks like the window’s broken and it’s because it is i’ve been using it to fly into there if

I need to so i’m leaving that side open for now but yeah we got to get the other sides um but i’m not sure can i make it can i make it i’m not sure if i want to do the same thing on all the sides

Maybe i’ll have a front and a back door and then i’ll close these off and i’ll make the lower part different but i’ll still do the top i think that’s what i’ll do so that way i don’t have you know two doors or four doors i’ll have two one on each

Side so it’s easy to get in and out of here but i will have that still that same clock tower type of look to it and then maybe i’ll change this that way we can get some maybe some plants on this side and the door won’t take that up i think that

Is a great idea um so let’s go ahead and start doing that maybe get some ideas rolling on the bottom part some plants and see if we can finish this out all right so we got this left side uh well if that’s the front do we got this left side uh

It’s not done yet there’s no i didn’t put any colored glass in here yet but this is a nice little unique thing that i’m trying to do with it maybe i’ll put more leaves around the little like ledges over there i had to kind of modify this side

Because since i don’t have a door there i have a lot more space down here um i’m not sure if i like that type of trap door at the top but i decided to use some nether wart i think the the netherware would like the witchy theme will look pretty good

Maybe once we have some colored in windows right there it’ll give us some more color because right now we’re kind of we don’t have a lot of color i think that’ll give it some nice color and that pot is kind of a little bit out of the place

Maybe i’ll just do all nether work there or maybe like the beets right here they look pretty nice with the the red and the green give it some more color um and then i use spruce leaves remember the oak leaves they look great but not in the swamp in the swamp they turn

Brown and that happens to be right in the swamp so we’re going to use the spruce leaves because they don’t change and then i had to modify because i didn’t take in account that this side has you know it’s different than the front and the back

So i kind of had to modify that a little bit but i mean you probably can’t tell the difference uh it still looks great so i’m i’m pretty happy with the way that turned out so we’re gonna do the other side and maybe you know do something a little different on the side

And we can maybe see if this side maybe is not the best so we can kind of you know trick it out a little bit as we’re going along but that’s kind of what i’m going with i kind of like the netherwart because it’s kind of spooky so

Maybe on the other side some mushrooms or something that might be a good idea i’ll see if i have any because we are in the swamp it would make sense and and that’s what which which huts and stuff usually have mushrooms and stuff so

We’ll see if i can if i have any more any of those so let’s do that all right so we got this side finished and i think it turned out really good we got you know this different design here with the lantern and the different kinds of

Plants and i think i might need to change the other side a little bit like this uh we already started doing that and i’ll show you that right now so on this side we got you know the the new nether fungus uh some beet roots and i think that just

Looks really nice all together we got this like more of an archway with the different stained glass and some leaves uh we went ahead and got more stained glass on all sides with the leaves and then we kind of went ahead and kept this but we kind of changed this up a

Little bit um it does give us some nice variety gives us that like you know creepy witch vibe to it with the the stained glass and i think that looks really nice i’m not exactly sure um what to do with the lighting on this side we’re gonna have to add some more

Lanterns or maybe some in rods here and there but we’ll figure that out um probably next episode but for now let’s go ahead and let’s go ahead and look at this thing from a distance oh yeah it looks really good with all this got the stained glass the variations looks nice this side

Let’s take a look at it all together ow oh that looks nice so we definitely need some more lighting on this side um and maybe some more lighting on the top here i kind of like how dark that is i mean it’s a silo there’s not really any light

To it anyways but definitely brightening up these two builds we’ll kind of bring this all together but with it all said and done i think they look pretty darn good i mean they have this nice elevation look to them they’re spread out just enough to where they still can be like

Shot in the same picture but yeah they look really nice um so that’s the end of the video um that’s all i can do actually and again i i apologize for for making this two weeks later from my last episode i tried to do it once a week but you know
