We need to start processing all of this initially i want to pull it all into our applied energistics system and as mentioned in the last stream i think we’re going to do that with an input bus and i don’t really want to have this kind of like floating chest and Transfer pipe here the only reason why i have this right now is because between streams the mechanical miner uh filled up and then stopped breaking all of the uh the aussie and so i just put this down to allow us to get uh extra resources between streams And you’ll see it’s even managed to get uh seven diamonds which is very nice indeed but yeah i think one of the first things that i would like to do is see if we can’t make an import bus it is quite far away so we are gonna have to Run cable all the way under the floor if we’re gonna get over there but i think it’s definitely worth it and then after that we’re gonna have to start looking at how we’re going to process all of the olds into actual ingots i think it’s quite likely that we’re going To end up running all of our ores through a sag mill and then through a powered furnace up until now we’ve been using the symbol versions of the sag mill and the alloys motor which are fine but are very very very slow and you can’t upgrade them with Capacitors uh you can’t you know use them without them losing power constantly they’re a bit of a pain in the backside to work with and so hopefully today we’re going to finally upgrade these machines automate our processing and on top of that we’re also going to see if we can’t get a bit More power as well because of course if we’re going to run new machines constantly we do need a better source of power than these few like just regular old generators that we have providing this a little rf battery with power now along those lines chet i have done a Little bit of work between streams on setting up a new downstairs area here and i went with a little bit of a different design than what we’ve been going with upstairs just to mix it up a little bit i also thought i’d put some of that mineral wood to to good use so I’ve thrown out a bunch of manual uh logs along the the edges here and some more mineral planks in the middle with some chiseled cobblestone and also some chisel that glows down as well from the nether and the plan is to throw down all of the industrial uh sorry all of the Immersive engineering machines required to set up a diesel generator in here hopefully in today’s stream those machines are the fermenter the squeezer the refinery and then finally the diesel generator itself so we’ll hopefully get to that a little bit later on first things first though chad i think What i would like to do is get rid of this water elevator and i’d also like to be able to get around the base quite a bit faster and i think we can do that chat using the travel anchors from android these guys right here if we hold shift these allow Teleportation between anchors stand on one one anchor look at the other and jump to travel so these are actually not too difficult to make it requires four iron four conduit binder which is just sand gravel and clear and then one pulsating crystal which is a diamond and then some pulsating iron Nuggets which i think we should still have left yeah we made quite a few uh pulsating iron ingots in the last stream and even if we didn’t we could make more of those they’re just iron and ender pearls both of which we have um a fairly reasonable amount of now And yeah so these really don’t seem all that bad actually let’s start by making maybe four of these if we can the first two i want to have basically here and directly below that because i’m fairly certain that if you put these like horizontally or vertically even on Top of each other like this i believe you can just jump up like that and so now instead of having to use the uh water vapor here we can just walk over hit shift and we come down to this lower level which is going to Make our lives a whole heck of a lot easier and it’s also going to have the added benefit of allowing me to get rid of this horrible little bit of water right there and while we’re at it we should probably also go ahead and Fill in this guy as well on top of that we can of course also craft up one or two more of these and then put one for example over here and now that point we can then go and do something like that if you want to get over there and then just Shift to bounce back as well it’s a lot faster it even allows us to go directly down to this lower level nice and quickly which is very nice we do spend quite a bit of time making plates and going forward if we’re going to set up even more immersive engineering machines we are Going to need even more plates and even more gears and even more wires so uh having a travel anchor over here seems pretty useful i was also contemplating putting one over here mostly for the symmetry to be honest we don’t really have much over here right now that we’re using I’m sure in the future we will put some more stuff in this area but i think it probably makes a lot more sense for now to put this travel anchor kind of over here somewhere kind of closer to the britannia area although i’m still not sure quite where we’d put it Like we could put we don’t really need to go back here all that much i don’t think i guess really we could just put it kind of here-ish it’s not very far i i do admit from uh the central like the central travel anchor but I’m kind of thinking if we just put it down somewhere around here we can then just come over and use the uh the mana pools right as when we need them i might move this one sooner rather than later because it does seem a little a little less necessary Given how close this travel anchor is but you can also name these as well well then this one britannia and so now when we stand on any of the other travel anchors if we look at it um it does say britannia there not that i think i’m really going to uh Forget which travel anchor is which we don’t really have that sprawling of a network of travel anchors just yet i’ll call this one metal press and then this one can be uh basement for now nice now before we uh again another little side tangent before we get into uh The meat and potatoes of today’s stream i do also um want to implement a couple of quality of life changes that have been recommended to me by the youtube comments uh the first of which is the mana band this guy right here or the band of mana This is essentially a mana tablet but one that i believe holds more mana and also one that we can wear so to make it is actually fairly easy it does require a matter tablet and then four mana steel ingots which as we know are fairly easy for us to make oh look At that chat already that travel anchor is paying off and so if we do something like this that gets us a band of mana it looks like it does hold about the same amount as the regular mana tablet but you can if you want upgrade it with a terrace Deal to make the greater bend of mana which could hold i think maybe four times as much uh but essentially the key benefit to this is that we can wear it and still get the effects of you know a lot of the skies without having to carry The mana tablet around with us which is very nice indeed and on top of that i was also recommended this guy right here the band of aura which is a really nifty little band and we are kind of i think running out of like ring slots i don’t know if i can I might have to take the potato mask off chat to get this going and honestly i don’t know if it’s worth it but the idea behind the band of mana is that it actually passively produces mana and feeds it into the ring of mana so instead of having to You know periodically come over to the mana pool and then drop the ring of mana in it the band of aura passively generates mana very slowly but over time we’ll fill up the band of mana so as long as we’re not using a crazy amount It will kind of keep this full so we don’t really have to worry about it going forward to make it we need again four mana steel ingots with one rune of mana which is five regular man of steel ingots and then one mana pearl we do not have a mana pearl however we Do have an abundance of ender pearls and so getting one really shouldn’t be too difficult for us beautiful and then one one two three four five and boom we get a band of aura so if we’re gonna wear this i don’t think you can wear them here you Can’t if we’re gonna wear a chat i don’t think about it here either oh you can’t hmm you have to put it in one of these three slots interesting i mean i think we are gonna just have to carry one of these around then if we want it to work because we’ve Saturated all of the uh all of the slots here yeah i think that’s just how it’s gonna have to be we could of course uh replace the uh the band that makes us move faster but i very much so don’t want to do that i think for now we’ll just carry this Around with us so if we’re going to make chat an import bus for this chest here let’s go ahead and see what we need import bus this guy i don’t think is too hard to make we need two iron one annihilation core which does require a logic processor and Then another sticky piston none of that really seems too bad especially now that we have uh the old crafting terminal here we can craft all of our uh you know pistons without having to manually grab cobblestone wood iron and and redstone and uh also now that we have Very quick and easy access to our mana ports here and of course it’s this one that we actually want so that should make getting a piston nice and easy for us and then at that point of course we’re just missing the annihilation core which does require some flux dust and the logic processor Now in terms of the inscriber here chad what we can do is we can craft up some acceleration cards to make the processor or to make the process of making processes in the inscriber that much faster and i think we will do it i think we’ll try and put a couple Of um of acceleration cards in on the right here and they do require flux crystals and they also do require uh most notably a calculation processor however we should still have one uh pure set of quartz left we do indeed and hopefully we then have pretty much everything it Takes to make that so let’s go ahead and grab the old calculation press and do one of those and essentially we’re just looking to make this part faster because right now it is quite slow and then of course if we do uu and some redstone that should get us the Processor that we’re after albeit somewhat slowly perfect and at that point we should be able i think to basically make this i believe we do need some more nether quartz charged circus quartz and redstone because i think we currently do not have um any fluids at all we do not that’s fine Uh we could probably do check with getting maybe a slightly closer pond of water i actually don’t know where our closest pond of water is right now i guess it’s right around here right where we were using the uh the crystal growth accelerators [Applause] perfect and uh once we have those chat What we should be able to do is go ahead and craft up um at the very least two of these nice and what that should do is it should just make this guy a little bit faster so now for example if we were to grab the old Logic press and also i guess while we’re at it the silicon press and some silicon what we should be able to do is throw both of those in like so and we should see it going significantly faster it is nice and i will make a couple of uh logic Processes here because i know we’re going to do quite a few of those going forward either way all right and so at that point i’m pretty sure that we have everything to make the annihilation core and everything to make the import bus nice so essentially as the name suggests all this does Is uh pull any item in an adjacent inventory into the applied energistics system and because we have our priority set up correctly uh the system will try and put things in the draw controller if it can so things like redstone iron diamonds should end up in there and then i’ll try To put anything that it can’t put into the the storage drawers but now it’s going to be all of our ores into the actual uh emmy drive cages so that should be fine all we have to do to actually make that work is run cable from here all the way To our base and as i mentioned earlier i actually don’t want it here i actually want it on here so as soon as we’ve emptied this chest out we can get rid of the chestnut transfer and just pull directly um from the miner into uh into our base so we are gonna Have to go get some more charged certain squads thankfully we do have 20 set of squats lying around we i guess could automate this it’s a very small thing to ultimate right now but i think it might be worth it if we use a transfer node with a Filter we can whitelist it to only pull out charged service quartz which should then going forward mean that all i have to do to make uh charge sodas quartz is you know put a hopper on this uh put however many regular surface quartz i want turned into charged service quartz on in that Hopper and then let the you know filter do the rest could also do with a um an anchor out here it’s a little far away but yeah if we go and grab one of you and then we go and filter charge service quartz like that with match metadata and match nbt on by Default there and put and throw that in at that point if we grab a hopper we should be able to do something like uh let’s say this we’ll do 9 and at that point it should put the regular set of squats in and then as soon as it becomes charged Set of squats it should get pulled out and a new one’s put in nice so that is going to work just fine and so that should make check getting the rest of the fluids cable here actually pretty easy all right so this is now connected up and you’ll know it’s connected up when That little light there turns blue and so uh hopefully everything that is put in the miner here is pulled out and directly pumped around into the old ae2 system nice so now as mentioned at the start of the stream we need to look into upgrading these machines here in order To uh to actually process what comes out of that right specifically the ors that come out of there so to do that really shouldn’t be too difficult i have made some dark steel ingots which are made with iron obsidian and pulverized coal because i’m fairly certain that we do need some dark steel If we’re going to go ahead and for example make the regular alloy smelter here so it looks a little scarier than it is we need three furnaces two dark steel ingots two dark bi-metal gears which are infinity by metal gears which are just iron and grains of infinity with dark steel Nuggets and then a cauldron and of course an industrial machine chassis so this is the bit that we’ve been kind of working up to with all of the printed circuit boards and the stone burnt and the simple machine chassis the only thing that we’re really missing now is industrial dye blend we have I think seven printed circuit boards we have like 60 stone burnt uh we can make as many simple machine chassis as we like they’re just iron and grains of infinity and as of right now we have 68 grains of infinity ready to go so only the only thing we’re missing Is the industrial dye blend which is another quartz dust lapis dust organic black dye and organic green dye so let’s start chat by i guess first of all actually uh getting some more nether quartz because we are running a little lower here and we can duplicate it very easily so now if we Were to uh i guess sangmill up some of that other quartz and i’ll go with half a stack here i think we are going to need a fair bit we do have 14 now already of course which is fantastic we’ll do the same with lapis okay i’ll do i think 16. Sure you know what yeah let’s get uh 16 nether quartz which we’ll have after this next one and then we’ll do the same with lapis as well from there we have to get some organic green dye and you do get six here so we actually don’t need that much Because we don’t need six thai blends yet but we need some organic green dye and organic black dye so the green dye is slime and clippings and trimmings and clippings and trimmings can be got from a bunch of different things i think we’re gonna go maybe with cactus i’ll probably sugarcane actually because We do have uh not only 75 sugarcane here but i think we also have maybe like eight stacks of sugarcane over here yeah let’s grab all those and throw them in the system as well i do think they they make the most sense to uh to use here so i’ll throw those in Let those get uh clipped and trimmed that i don’t think it’s a 100 drop chance let me check yeah it’s only a 10 drop chance and we do need 12 of them to make the two organic green die here so we might need quite a bit Of sugarcane and let me check real quick if cactus has a better drop chance it definitely does it has like a significantly better drop chance and so despite the fact that we definitely do have the uh the sugarcane to burn i think i am uh quite tempted here to just throw In uh the cactus because that should get us all of the clippings and trimmings quite a bit faster and then finally we just need the organic black dye which is cold powder and some slime and again of course we got all of our slime from cactus however we did make some Earlier in the stream and i think eleven is uh is probably going to be uh to be fine so let’s also grab some coal i think specifically six is uh what we needed there and i think that should basically be uh be everything right and then over in the alloy smelter we’ll Do the six coil and the one slime after that we’ll do the 12 trimmings and the one slime that should get us both the organic black dye and finally the organic green dye nice and so at that point that should be everything to make the industrial die blend it is indeed And on top of that we should finally have everything there we need to make a couple of industrial machine chassis and i guess i’ll make six of them because we have six die blends here and we do also have i’m fairly certain six stone burnt and On top of that we can easily make six simple machine chassis there we go we got a ton of stone burnt and of course as of a few streams ago we did craft i think seven of our unassembled pcbs into seven printed circuit boards uh which is an advancement that apparently up until Now i had not actually made because we were kind of just also pulling them uh into the chest this is probably the first time i’ve actually held the the processes um but yeah we have seven processors or seven pcbs seven machine chassis seven stone burn and Oh sorry six i guess we’ll put one back if we have six pcbs six stone burnt six simple machine chassis and six industrial die blend we should be able to come on over to our pressure chamber here drop in all four of those it back up and then if we give this guy Enough pressure we can hopefully make some better machines chat what’s the uh the pressure required here oh it’s quite high we need four four bars of pressure which we are pretty close to there oh it’s so close we need a little bit more a little bit more fuel There we go nice oh what the so that blew up which is interesting i was very much so hoping that our safety tube here would save us there it didn’t thankfully the only thankfully one we got our speed upgrades back i would have been very upset if we lost those Um but thankfully also the only thing we actually lost was the air compressor yeah i guess we were making it too fast for the the safety tube to uh to kind of disperse that’s fine we could make another compressor i think fairly easily i’m just glad it didn’t destroy Anything uh anything else they’re valuable so now that we have six industrial machine chassis that opens the door to a lot of stuff i mentioned it before but it also opens up all of the thermal expansion machines as well because now we can finally make the machine frames we can also finally make Machine blocks without having to go through the whole rigmarole of using the unstable ingots not only does that save us from having to spend all of our diamonds because previously we had to spend four diamonds and go through the risk of losing the diamonds if we didn’t do the craft in 10 seconds And now we can just use the redstone alloy and some electrical steel to make those machine blocks to make you know more culinary generators or whatever we want to make going forward and on top of that we can also make dynamos from uh thermal expansion and we can make The machine frames as well from thermal expansion to allow us to make all of those machines for now though i think we’re very much going to focus in on upgrading our alloy smelter and our sag mill so for the alloy smelter we need the the biometal gears so we’ll craft up Some nuggets we’ll craft up the regular infinity bimetal gears and then we’ll craft up the dark bi-metal gears as well and at that point that should be basically everything to make the regular sag mill it is indeed and then in terms of the alloy smelter we need three Furnaces two more of these uh gears which does require a yet more iron nuggets turning to get more dark my metal gears and boom nice so now we have an upgraded alloy smelter and a sag mill and we’ve also gone ahead and completed both of these advancements here The good news for the regular alloy smelter is that not only do they not waste power idly like the simple versions but they also allow for capacitors that allow you to speed up the machines now i do believe chat that we might have found a capacitor or two whilst we were Exploring some of the end cities it is possible that i left the capacitors in there but by default there are three tiers of capacitor you can make there is the basic the double layer and the uh octatic capacitors and these will increase the speed of the machine the basic is the lowest level And the octet is the highest so as you upgrade you get a faster and faster alex melter and sagamil but there are also custom ones that you can find in dungeon chests which i believe does include end city chests like this uh that can increase your speed sometimes even more Than the basic tiers um either way we do have to make at least a basic capacitor if we’re going to use our alloy smell to inside mill uh the benefit the good news though is that these are actually fairly easy to make and it might not be too difficult Honestly for us to make the upgraded versions here do we have any energized alloy we don’t we have some energized bi-metal gears the energized alloy are not too difficult to make redstone gold and glowstone you know what sure let’s uh grab some redstone some gold and some glowstone Now the unfortunate part here is that we are going to have to make uh i’ll put at least our basic pasta in for now like that and then put all of these in but that should hopefully be a little quicker than the the basic alloy smelter which i think it definitely is And then as we make the higher tiers of capacitor we can make it you know faster and faster and faster and eventually we might go out and look for you know more end cities to see if we can’t find some uh some upgraded capacitors If we can so that gets us the double a capacitor which should hopefully be a substantial increase on the uh the basic capacitor here which is called using 30 redstone flux per take that’s now using 90 which is quite a bit faster and um is currently more than we can really afford I say that because the way that this uh alloy smelter is called getting power is it’s getting power uh via an energy conduit now the energy conduit can transfer 640 rf so that’s not a problem uh the problem is that uh it’s getting its power from this energy Cell and the energy cell is getting its power from the wireless rf transmitter which can only transmit 18 redstone volts per tick into the energy cell itself so uh eventually this would tear through our power and we would start to uh you know not have enough there For now i think it’s okay because i do plan on upgrading our power situation um in today’s stream and so uh despite the fact that we can’t sustainably run our machines with double layer capacitors i am going to make another double a capacitor for our sag mill and i think for nail channel What i might do you can run this uh aloe smelter in either furnace uh we can run it in three modes i think all smelting alloys only and furnace only i think for now i might run it in furnace only mode because what we can do then is we can Put an export bus on the segment and export all of the ores that we’re producing here and then we could put an import bus on the alloy smelter and have all of the ores went through the sank mill smelted in the alloy smelter and then brought back into the uh into the system But i think before we do do that we should look at getting better power because again like i just mentioned if we were to do that now these two would start sucking up all the power more than we can produce and it wouldn’t be too long before our ae2 system Had turned off due to lack of power so let’s instead put some more iron in here and people have told me that i should do this in block form and i think they are correct when they say that so let me unlock that if you unlock a draw that’s empty by the Way you do have to put ingots back in to then empty it out but i’m thinking at that point all we should do is we should put a few blocks of iron in there we do have to be a little cautious we do only have 122 iron left But we do need a lot of steel if we’re gonna set up this uh this diesel generator hopefully this is a little faster um or at least a little bit more efficient you’ll see in the top left there it is very slow because we’re doing nine steel At a time now uh even with the preheaters um but i believe that doing one block of iron is faster than doing nine steel individually and so hopefully that won’t uh take too too long uh to get us you know 45 steel ingots there so if we’re going to make the diesel Generator let’s grab the older manual which we already have on us and let’s look so as i mentioned before the diesel generator does require diesel you can use a few different fuels in there and as someone has mentioned in the twitch chat and the idea of using the diesel that We’re getting as a by-product from our refinery while that would work i don’t think that we’re getting the diesel anywhere near fast enough like right now it’s not automated and while we could automate it you can’t really reliably automate it because the pump jack will eventually run out of oil right There’s a lot of oil in this chunk but if we started pumping it we would eventually run out of oil at which point the refinery would stop the diesel would stop and the generator would shut down so what i would much rather do is set up a better foundation of garden clutches That are automatically and forever going to produce seeds and apples or sugarcane and then use those to produce biodiesel which we know is gonna last forever so long as we have uh power as opposed to relying on the pump jack which is eventually gonna run out of oil at which point we don’t Have to pick it up and move it put it down again and then do the same over and over again every time we need power i think that’s a much better way of going about it so if we’re going to make the biodiesel required to run the diesel generator We need a squeezer a fermenter and a refinery because if we look at the biodiesel it’s made in the refinery with plant oil and ethanol plant oil we can make from a bunch of different seeds we’re probably going to go with maybe wheat but we could also go potentially with Industrial hemp as well simply due to the fact that industrial hemp not only gives you more uh miller buckets of plant oil but it also has the the secondary byproduct of the fact that in order to get industrial hemp seeds we have to grow industrial hemp in the garden clutch and growing industrial Hemp gives us an infinite access gives us an infinite source of string which up until now has been a bit of a pain for us we have to keep going out and then either using the watering can or bone meal to grow our little industrial hemp farm there to get string which is A little tedious having that automated would be very nice indeed and then on the other side if we’re going to make the plant oil we can use oh sorry the um ethanol here we i guess are probably going to use apples we could use sugarcane as well i Guess it really doesn’t matter which we use honestly um we could look to importing the apples that we’re making like over here of course we do have 8 000 apples and if we’re making them fast enough we could use those in the uh in the making of ethanol but i Also don’t think it’s gonna be too difficult for us to set up a um another garden clash with sugar cane for example and then use that to get uh the ethanol for the biodiesel either way that’s gonna be fairly easy for us to get both of those i think And then make the biodiesel which we can then pump into the uh the generator so i guess let’s start chat by looking at the squeezer and the fermenter so the squeezer requires six steel scaffolding two fluid pipes one redstone engineering block two light engineering blocks four wooden barrels one piston and three Steel fence the fermenter is pretty similar more steel scaffolding more fluid pipes more redstone engineering blocks more light engineering blocks but then a cauldron and sheet metal so as you can see quite a bit in the way of uh of steel now we do have 192 steel Right now which is pretty nice and we also have our first block of steel over here that’s uh iron block finally got turned uh into steel so we have about 200 steel now to work with so let’s see then if we can’t uh if we can’t work with this so I kind of want to get an idea of how many of each like engineering block we need and so you know what let me get a notepad open and let’s see so the squeezer requires at two light and one redstone the fermenter requires again two light And one redstone so now only four light and two redstone and then the refinery needs one light uh one redstone two lights and two heavy that takes up to three redstone six lights and too heavy yeah okay so we’ll start there and let’s see if we can make those so Engineering block because i think these are going to be mostly the hardest part of this uh thankfully the redstone engineering block is really not too difficult we need three of those for make four in total there and the light engineering block is also not too bad actually uh We’re doing some iron plates and some copper thankfully i did go ahead and well we already have mine plates in there but i did also go ahead and start making some uh before the stream so we have some of those ready to go i’m also gonna hazard a guest chat That we are almost certainly going to need some of this copper wire here so i will uh preemptively start running some copper ingots through the old metal press here to get as more of that copper wire as when we need it but as far as the light engineering block goes uh if We come over here and if we swap out the blueprint to the parts blueprint like so we should then be able to do u and u and if we need six light engineering blocks that means we need uh six components so i guess we’ll do 16. Oh i guess you can’t um oh okay so i guess the way that works is that you have to put in the exact amount of iron you want i didn’t intend to make like to use all of our iron there but i guess that’s fine the iron plates are not too expensive to Come by two four and six good stuff and then we only need two heavy engineering blocks which are definitely by far the most expensive uh but also very doable uh we’re doing some steel plates but that is fine and this time around i will be a little Less haphazard we’ll try and make the exact number of um steel components we need that being four which means we need eight steel plates okay that seems very doable chet i will uh temporarily swap that out no please i guess we can put the uh the plate Press in there anyway and make some copper plates that’s fine ah one two three four five six seven eight and at that point we should be basically there on the uh the heavy engineering blocks and we do need some electrum which is gold and silver in the old alloy smelt which now is Thankfully a little faster than it was before we do it to make sure it’s set to either all smelting or alloy mode uh we’ll set it to all smelting for now and throw about those in there look how fast that is chat oh it’s so much faster Than the uh the simple alloy smell so the simple alloy smelter was painfully slow this guy is nice and fast i love it and so i think that’s basically everything we do need some pistons but that is pretty much everything that we need we do have to swap out You and craft follow those and at that point boom we’re good to go nice so let’s go back and check now what else do we need the squeezer needs steel scaffolding and fluid pipes wooden barrels pistons and steel fences so steel scaffolding i think we might already have some steel scaffolding from previous Endeavors we do we have a little bit but not really too too much that is fine uh we do need to craft up some more of the old steel rods here but that seems very doable i will also go ahead and craft up those pipes as well I’m not going to worry too much about the other on that’s when the the iron plates would have come in handy but i think did we use all of our end plates but we did okay let’s make a few more of them but i’m not going to worry too much About the uh the fermenter just yet because i have a feeling that uh once we’ve got all the things for the squeezer well probably as a byproduct it’s going to make most of the things um for the fermenter as well things like the steel scaffolding here i’ve made a Little extra because i know both of them require it i will try and make a couple of extra pipes as well i think because that’s also uh something that i know quite a few of the machines here are going to need wooden barrels shouldn’t be too difficult they do require some treated Wood but that seems also very very doable and so yeah this actually chat isn’t going to take us too long i don’t think all right so once we have the pipes we also know we need uh we also know that we need steel fences which are nice and easy and i’m not sure How many steel fences we need uh three is the answer so now we just need uh the two fluid pipes i think i just put away um but so now we just need the four wooden barrels and one piston okay so at the piston obviously very easy and then as for the wooden Barrel i don’t know how much treated wood we have we have a one piece of treated wood that is fine i believe that we do have a tank full of creosote we do indeed and we also have a decent amount of wormwood ready to be turned into uh Treated wood and in fact before i start taking buckets out i believe what we should maybe be able to do is something a little bit like this we totally can nice so that’s a much easier way of using the queer sort there and at that point chad making the barrels Should be nice and easy we do need some slaps one two three and four nice so i think chat that that is everything required to make the squeezer it is so let’s go make it let’s put it down over here so i’m going to hit pause and then we’re going to cycle through Some of the the levels here so the bottom level is still scaffolding light engineering block and pipe so steel scaffolding light engineering block and pipe i believe it was something like this and then the second level up after that is the four barrels in the top right with another light engineering block and Then the redstone engineering block over here again seems very doable and then the third and final level is just three fence and a piston like so nice and then at that point all we need is the the old hammer which i think is possibly in our choker box here it is indeed And we might have to rotate the piston to face downwards like that but at that point we should basically be good to go the hard part is figuring out um which block you have to uh you have to right click on i think it might tell me in the uh the manual actually Using the engineer’s hammer on the central wooden barrel from the side that has the engineering blocks so oh this one here nice beautiful so that’s the squeezer the fermenter is also a three by three by three multi block and that’s going to go on the other side of the room over here For that we basically have everything apart from the four cauldrons and the four iron sheet metal and both of those are basically just iron so four cauldrons i think we do need iron plates to make the sheet metal yeah we do but again that’s actually not Too bad i think i did leave a few iron plates cooking in here we did indeed good stuff and so once we have that we are once again good to go so this guy if we can get this going right uh starts in exactly the same way and it’s actually a Very similar recipe uh very similar like multi-block i guess it’s just these kind of a blocks here that are a little different so this time we’re gonna do something a little bit like this with the pipes in the middle it’s then another block there i think the redstone goes there With the four sheet metal like here i should check instead of uh trying to go on memory i know we need the cold ones there okay that’s fine nice and there we go there is our fermenter so now the final machine check that we need before the actual diesel generator Itself is the refinery which is by far the biggest uh of the three that we’re going to make here but i think it shouldn’t be too difficult so yeah the only thing we’re missing here is 16 iron g metal which is quite a lot of iron plates and then Eight steel scaffolding which shouldn’t really be too difficult so the heavy engineering block goes there we then have a light engineering block opposite the heavy engineering block right about there and then it’s pipe all the way down the middle right yeah with still scaffolding either side Like that the next layer up is then another heavy and light engineering block with the old redstone engineering block right about there and then essentially at that point it’s just two cubes of 16 sheet metal actually one two three four five six seven eight one two three four five six seven eight And i would assume that you shift right click on the front but i’m usually wrong on these things oh look at that perfect all right so we are pretty much there on the machine setup now we need to start actually getting everything together i guess uh before we Move on though i i think we probably should do the diesel generator as well before we uh look at actually providing resources so the diesel generator is quite pricey but looking at this the only real expensive part here is the 13 heavy engineering blocks which are honestly quite doable so a Little bit of plate action later chat and i think we’re getting somewhere so i think eight pipes is gonna be enough it is so let’s look at these uh four generator and nine radiator blocks so generator blocks these are made with steel electrum and then a kinetic dynamo And we needed what four of these yeah so let’s get uh i guess some more electrum yeah we’re going to do unfortunately just one more electron but i’ll make two more just in case good stuff and then at that point the rest of this doesn’t seem too bad we do Finally need these copper wires here that we made a minute ago good to see those uh getting some use and i’ll make four lots of those so that we can make i guess two of these from there we should be able to make two kinetic dynamos We can indeed and finally we can make four generator blocks nice now as for the uh the other block battling the radiator block this also doesn’t seem too bad we do need nine of these which is unfortunate given that uh they’re made in in batches of two it Means we’re gonna have to make ten but that’s really not gonna be uh too big of a deal i don’t think uh they do require water which is fine we do of course have our rod of the seas and so i guess in a somewhat janky fashion i’m just going to do this For those unaware we can’t make an infinite water source in this pack which is why we have that one of the seas there and there we go nice so we got three radiator blocks a generator block scaffolding and pipe i think we’re going to do one two three I want to in line with that there and then it was like pipe in the middle right with a generator block more pipe here and here where the scaffolding either side i also think there’s probably more ready to block that on the second level yeah there is an effect that actually Goes all the way up to the top like that and then we also have the remaining generator blocks there with the middle being pretty much all heavy engineering blocks with one redstone engineering block so redstone and then heavy all around that and then finally the uh the top bit here Is just a little plus of uh of heavy like that and i think at that point we’re we’re good right and we shift click maybe at the front there we do nice so that is our diesel generator now somebody in the twitch chat did make the fair point that if we rotate our Squeezer and fermenter we can make our lives with the refinery a little bit easier because the squeezer inputs from the back it’s like right here the blue is input and so does the refinery or the fermenter even and then outputs to orange to the front now the refinery Also inputs on blue and outputs on orange but the blue is here so if we rotate the squeezer to face this way uh we can just have one fluid pipe going from here to here and the same is true over uh from here to here so i think it’s probably worth check spending Um a quick minute rotating this uh this multi block of both multi blocks something like that chat so now we can just pump directly across into the refinery and then we’ll probably we input to the the diesel generator either here or here and we’ll probably go out and then Underground for the fluid pipe that takes the diesel from the refinery over to this diesel generator and people have pointed out in the twitch chat that by default the way the diesel generator normally works is that i’ll show i said the way the refinery normally works is that uh it can produce enough Biodiesel to fuel two diesel generators so um we’ll make the one for now and we’ll see if we can you know produce enough diesel to power it i think we should be able to but then if things are going well and if we need more power going forward We can go ahead and set up another diesel generator over here in the future and hopefully power that with the current diesel setup that we have so like i said before chat if we’re gonna make this work we need a few things and it’s kind of Again a bit of a chicken in the egg situation because we need to provide these with power for them to start working to then generate them more power right but most importantly we need the the resources to get this going so let’s first of all see if we can’t make A couple of uh fluid conduits from nyo these really shouldn’t be too difficult you know what sure let’s go for the second tier so um to make these we do need some we can use fused quartz which i think if i’m not mistaken yet it’s just uh nether quartz in the old Alloy smelter i think three nether quads equals one fused quartz i’ll get you three few squats nice okay that is nice and actually in fact we only need the one set then we’ve made two but that’s fine there we go and essentially all we’re gonna do is we’re gonna have one Right about here as well as one right about here we’re going to make sure that this side is set to extract always active even though i think these might auto eject at this side it’s going to be set to just insert and then the same over here we’re going to extract always active And this one just to insert so that should work just fine uh we’re then going to need to get some more energy conduits check and this is where things get a little bit more interesting because the diesel generator produces 4096 redstone flux per tick which is quite high So it might not be a terrible idea for us to start using enhanced energy conduits around the base especially now that we do have the ability to make those fairly easily with the old alloy smelter here i think working with these is probably going to make the most sense Conduit binder wise we are doing okay for now can you upgrade conduits chat you totally can nice i feel like we might as well do that where possible um but yeah once we have these uh enhanced energy conduits chad what we should be able to do is um Basically then just power all of these uh machines here so i think yeah what we’ll probably do is we’ll probably have these run under the floor um this seems to have connected chat does that work like normally i connect these to the top but can you also input Power basically anywhere on this block i was not aware that’s interesting if that’s the uh the case it makes sense i guess it’s not really something i’d ever uh i’d ever thought about yeah and i think we’ll just hook all these up directly to the diesel generator it’s a little unfortunate because i Think the diesel generator outputs its power along the top here yeah it does it takes in diesel at the front and back there and the power comes out the top so we are gonna have to have like probably maybe a cable coming down like this And yeah it should just be a simple chat as running our energy conduits here all the way along and just connecting up all of the uh all of the machines cool so once all of those are hooked up we can then of course go and uh refill the floor a little bit I think i will make some conduit facades to kind of cover these up eventually uh thankfully they are kind of hidden just in general but like this one in particular needs to be uh to be even more hidden i think and someone in the twitch chat did make Um a pretty good observation and all we can do is we can uh take maybe a little bit of this diesel here and use it to kind of kick start at the generator to give power to all of our other stuff now i know if you can just put diesel in Like that it looks like unfortunately you cannot however i see what we can do is grab one of our tanks and uh maybe just do something like this so extract always active and insert i think that’s worked i do believe that the diesel generator does require a redstone signal to actually Activate so let’s grab a lever and then essentially chat if we put that onto this guy that will hopefully produce some power oh oh the lever turns it off chat there we go all right power is being produced and it’s being sent around to all of these guys So the question now becomes if we grab for example some sugarcane and some apples wait are sugarcane apples the same resource let me check i think they are right we need seeds if we grab some sugarcane and some industrial hemp seeds and i’ll leave a few in the system just to be safe So i believe the sugarcane goes in the old fermenter it does indeed that should begin producing the uh the ethanol and pumping it over and then if we put seeds in over here that should begin producing the plant oil which should together begin producing biodiesel nice and at that point chat we can Retire these guys and instead run the uh the other fluid conduits down under the floor and around over to here i think we are missing a couple of fluid conduits but that shouldn’t be too big of an issue we do have more conduit binding out so making more of those Should be fairly easy for us i also yeah i don’t think nine’s gonna be enough and if we just run that along go to the floor around and into the diesel generator uh make sure that uh i think you can fix this but i’m just gonna break and replace that Make sure that’s set to extract always active and this one is set to insert and i think that should work chat it has pulled the diesel out it’s quite possible that it stopped due to the fact that it’s backed up on power i don’t know if that’s like a thing that it does Um automatically so someone in the twitch chat has made a very good point that we could uh if we wanted to grab like this guy and go put that down on top of the diesel generator now yeah that works nice so it does stop when it doesn’t have anywhere to dump Its power by the looks of it but that does seem to be working it’s taken the diesel out of the pipes here so it is taking the diesel that’s been made by the refinery and so i think chad that’s probably where we’re going to wrap things up for today we didn’t get Around to making the garden clashes but in the next stream i will make a couple of these uh however many it takes i guess to set up a system that makes enough ethanol and plant oil to keep this guy going i will also make some sound mufflers real quick So that we can hopefully not have to uh to bear the the slow low rumble of the uh the diesel generator going forward and for now we’ll hide this i think under the diesel generator so we’ll just like put it maybe like right about there i might make a second one depending if That is quiet enough i don’t quite know if it is going to be quiet enough we can i guess test it a bit here if we put these in and that should get us some more plant oil oh that’s the wrong it’s awkward it’s odd because the Ethanol is on this side despite coming from this side and the plant oil is on uh this side despite coming from this side but that should get us more plant oil and should give us an idea of the sound still quite loud eh that make any difference I’m not gonna lie chat that sounds like maybe it’s exactly the same volume i’m not too sure it sounds pretty similar though but uh anyway like i said next time we’ll come back we’ll make some garden clashes we’ll see if we can alternate this fully and we’ll also look At making a painting machine so we can make some conduit facades and hide all of these you know little holes in the floor here and at that point chant uh we’re kind of gonna have to start looking at the end of this quest line we’ve got a few more Quests to go before them but the the main uh difficult part i guess of the end of this questline is making the rainbow generator which is a a generator from actuators 2 which is made up of all of the previous generators so it comes in two parts the Top half and the bottom half so you have to make all of the generators from x utilities to make the rainbow generator and then on top of that if you want the rainbow generator to actually work which we do have to do we have to get it to run if you want to Run you have to then make another set of all the generators and power them all simultaneously at which point the rainbow generator will then work and make power so that’s good to think about doing but i think we’re up to the task [Applause]
