Minecraft Levitated | STARTING IN THE END?! #1 [Modded Questing Exploration]

Just a quick heads up before this video gets started this is an edited down version of a live stream i did over on twitch.tv forward slash gaming on caffeine if you want to check out the full unedited stream or if you want to watch future streams live i’ll put a link in

The description down below to that also if you hear me talking to anybody during the course of this video it’s me talking to the twitch chat and reading out their messages and vice versa i’ve tried to cut out most of the alex sub notifications and a

Lot of the grind so there were quite a few jumps in this video but without further ado here is levitated but uh yeah this is a new quest based progression based mod pack they use the the advancements here they’ve got custom advancements in place of a quest book

And we start with the beginning of the end you see what they did there with the old the old world play when you fell into the end you entered at the end gateway by accident good for you because you can avoid the dragon as long as you want so right now

No dragon in the end we do of course have to uh keep in mind the old endermen that are about but i think for the most part so long as we don’t you know give them any oh my goodness that guy’s floating do you see that

He’s just oh in the world the pick is called levitated but that is actually horrifying quite well is he going up to that platform like what can i do that can i go up there oh maybe i can there’s a pressure plate here with a dispenser can i i wonder if

This was like a pre-made like trap i mean he’s almost he took some damage there i do wonder if there was maybe like a portion of levitation or something in this dispenser that we could have like potentially stood on and instead it looks like the enderman

Has maybe stood on it and and acquired that potion for us nevertheless um if we go ahead and look at the quest book here our first quest is shards of terror breaking the end stone with an empty hand results in dropping an end stone shard it’s sharp enough to create tools

And the quest is to obtain an end stone chart so no tools right out the back and i also don’t think that we can chop down these big old entries just yet either or maybe we can no we can’t we can break them but we don’t actually get anything just yet i

Believe in order to actually get something we uh we first need an end stone chart and i do think it has to be actual insta i don’t think that breaking the old grass here is actually going to get us anything no so let’s go ahead and break some

Stone a little slow to start with but i do believe that one of the first things that we are going to do in this pack is create some tools look at that boom end stone shards are quiet what’s next so we also have unusual fruit these

Fruit have a weird side effect but at least it’s safe to consume them consume a chorus fruit we also have a brick and ender-lily plant to get an endlessly seed and the ladies grow on and stone and produce ender pearls and the quest is to obtain and end at lily seed which are

These little guys kind of just dotted all around the map so right off the bat we can see the ender pearls are really not going to be too difficult for us to come by we were given 16 of them and i think the reason for that is that we are going to

Do a little bit of exploration at the start of the the pancho and of course having the ender pearls ready to go makes that uh quite a bit easier as for chorus fruit i assume that’s not gonna be too hard to find either it’s not

We can go ahead and just grab some of that real quick and then get that quick chomp beautiful slight little bit of teleportation but nothing we can’t handle chat and then what else do we have fragments of the world every ender teleport by player now creates a piece of extraterrestrial matter

At the end location and the teleport by other entities however will not so i believe what this means is that if we were to do something a little bit like this when we land we actually generate a little bit of of extraterrestrial matter which is i guess nice

It’s from deep mob learning which is a pretty nifty mod that allows you to uh basically alternate the uh the killing of mobs without actually spawning the mobs in and ultimate the generation of certain like pieces of loot from those mobs for example if you press you on the old

Extraterrestrial matter here you know you can use to make chorus fruit we can use it to make another star here without actually having to fight the the wither which is super nice we just need the soul sand and the withered skeleton at schools but um that’s obviously quite a ways away

So in terms of mods before we get too deep into the questline i guess um in terms of mods here i believe the peck starts out with a little bit more of a magic mod tilt and i see a magic mod i think the first mod that we’re really going to get into

Is britannia yeah there’s a little bit of a tanya here but then it’s not too long before we end up with mods like immersive engineering as well as things like android x utilities and um deep mob learning and then further down the line we also have the likes of um applied logistics

In the pack as well if we look through through jei here there are quite a lot of both magic and tech mods we also have advanced rocketry which adds a space exploration to the end game i’m actually not played with advanced rocketry i’ve only ever used galactic craft so i’ll be interested

To see how those two uh you know differ in their uh in their implementations of space travel we also have i believe new metacraft is in as well as kind of a tech focused uh mod and there are also a few magic mods i’ve not played with before things like wizardry

Is a modpack is a mod that i’ve not actually used previously but i’m interested to give that a try we have chisel of course to allow us to uh build some pretty nice looking structures if we uh if we so choose we have corals tombstones which looks uh interesting

To say the least android of course pretty stable uh tech mod right there with a bunch of stuff we have environmental tech which is interesting and you can use this to set up some pretty large uh solar panels as well as some nice resource generators in the form of the

Old miners yeah you have these minor controllers and uh both void resource and void also we can generate resources using those by putting them over the void executables too which adds a ton of stuff a lot of utility items and then uh yeah we’ve got immersive engineering as well

Integrated dynamics also another mod i’ve not played a ton with we’ve got open computers again this is a mod that i used uh pretty much for the first time in compact claustrophobia this is the mod that allows us to make the robots and also make computers and program those computers and robots

To automate certain tasks if we so wish there’s the old new matter craft and we also have storage doors as well which is pretty nifty and of course tech reborn uh is that right then as well all right so that’s kind of the uh the overview of

The the mods in the pack and i believe we’re going to work through quite a few of those as we progress through a couple of the advancement pages i do believe that there is more than just the one at this kind of page here just walks you through the end

Side of things but then you’ll see right at the end of the end page we get to the nether side of things i believe that unlocks its own new page of advancements so you know we’ve got quite a lot of stuff to be getting on with but

Uh first and foremost chad we have fragile life wormwood is a kind of lock that can only be obtained with an x however an end stone shard works too but most of the time you’ll just get planks instead be aware of endermites though so i believe now that we have our first end

Shot what we should be able to do is break these without just destroying the wood i do think it’s not going to be quite as effective as using an x yeah we’re only going to get the planks whereas i believe once we actually get an x we’re going to get the logs we’re

Going to cross craft those down into planks to make things just a little bit more efficient for now though what are we looking at here we need to make the tool station it says with a tool station you’re able to create some tools you need made of endstone of course

Craft a tool station so the tool station is of course from tinker’s construct which is another mod that we have installed here and it requires a blank pattern which is two sticks and two planks as well as a crafting table which is made from two logs and or two planks even and

Two end stone bricks so it would seem that we do have to do a little bit more end stone mining um i do believe you can craft four n shards back into end stone and then four and stone into end stone bricks so uh let’s go ahead and break a few

More of those shall we all right so we have 20 n star and shards here that’s going to get us five and stone we only need four of which to make the older end stone bricks and if we craft those up with our wormwood planks we got the old crafting table and then

If we go ahead and craft up some sticks we can make the first pattern like so and at that point we’re basically good to go let’s grab one more plank which does actually require that we break um one more piece of endstone here because we actually need an endstone chart

To get the wood from the uh from the tree there we go and yeah if we got one more plant here we can make a another crafting table and then use that to actually craft up the the tour station because presumably we do also want to have just a generic

General use crafting table as well so well let’s go ahead and throw this guy down for now like right about here i guess we it doesn’t really matter too much where we uh when we set up base we do have a lot of structures of course and we are in the

End there might even be like an elytra fairly close by i did not mean to look you in the eye my friend i apologize chat we’re gonna die right at the start of the pack here i don’t think there’s any way that uh that i don’t die for this guy i’m not

Quite sure if you can outrun an enderman i don’t believe that to be the case i can hear him and now i can see him yeah i think we’re just dead there’s no way we can fight him right we don’t have any tools we’d have a sword

I don’t think it’s very likely that i’m going to be able to make a sword on the run so i’m just gonna i’m just gonna let it happen yeah there we go we’ll just we’ll just all right well okay thankfully we didn’t uh die too far away there let’s try and not

Look these guys in the eye if possible they’re not i’m not huge fans of that by the way let’s go and grab one more plank shall we all right that should give us everything it takes chat to make another crafting table and then from there if we

Craft that up with uh the old blank pattern there we should get a tour station and that does remind me actually we can craft this crafting table here into a crafting station which is essentially just a crafting table from tinker’s construct but it’s slightly better and it allows you to leave

Items in it so you can kind of start your craft and then if you’re missing an item you don’t have to take everything back out like you would with a normal vanilla minecraft crafting table which is very nice indeed so there’s the old tool station i think we are

Almost certainly going to have to make a stencil table and a pot builder as well stencil table let’s go ahead and bookmark that and then parts builder we’ll go ahead and bookmark that as well and you just press a by the way when hovering over things to bookmark them

On the left and both of these again are fairly easy one does require the wormwood log and the other requires the plank and both of them of course require a blank pattern um how do i go about getting the wormwood log is a good question i did notice that we had one

A minute ago and i i foolishly crafted it away then oh hello that’s a uh an endermite thankfully significantly less difficult to fight than an enderman so it turns out that uh you don’t always get planks when breaking the the wormwood here with the the old shards occasionally you will get an

Actual log which is what we need if we’re going to make the part builder so with that is that and the stencil table is also fairly easy to do as well and we’ll go ahead and throw both of those down like so beautiful and then at that point

Chad we should have everything it takes to make ourselves at both an x and a pickaxe i think we will start with a pickaxe if we can because we’re gonna need more end stone i think to make more tools so let’s get at least one more set of blank patterns here

And then over in the stencil table we can make a pickaxe head pattern we can make a toolbox pattern and we can make a binding pattern over in the part builder we’ll go and make an end stone pickaxe head we need one more chat that’s fine actually that shouldn’t be

Uh too difficult hopefully we get two end charts from this one with event stone we already have two honors so one more here should get us everything that we’re after it does indeed fantastic so now once again if we head back over into the pot builder and we do something like this

And like this that gets us the end pickaxe head which does have the alien modifier which i’m actually not sure what that does the stats feel off as if they’re changing maybe time will tell interesting do the stats change on this hopefully they get better anti-teleport prevents enderman from

Teleporting around for a short time ooh okay also interesting and then i think for now actually i don’t know i was gonna say i think for now we’ll make our sticks and our binding out of wood and you know what i will do that we’ll make

A wooden tool rod and we’ll make a wooden binding as well i’m not sure if the the wooden tool rod and the wooden binding are the best choice in terms of uh like stats on the tool but given that they allow us to uh very quickly grab some end stone here

Let me do some uh comparison if we can so if i go ahead and type in tool rod the wooden tool rod which is what we have right now gives us the ecological modifier which means our weapon will slowly or our tool even will slowly repair itself over time which is always nice

And it gives us one modifier and it increases the durability by 20 whereas the end rod which is this one here has a modifier of 0.85 and a durability of zero yeah this one doesn’t seem as good it seems remarkably worse than the uh the rod that we have made of wood

And then let’s have a look at the binding as well real quick the wood binding which is right here again ecological durability at 15 whereas the end binding does have a durability of 42 and gives us ender clearance so i think it’s probably worth uh switching out our binding here for a

Uh an ender binding that should upgrade our pickaxe yeah so we go from having a max durability of 466 up to 493 it also ever so slightly increases our mining speed there from 3.26 up to 3.27 and then interference prevents enderman from teleporting around for a short time

Nice cool so that’s the best way we can make that and then i think we pretty much want to do the exact same thing for the x here and while we’re at it i feel like we should probably just go right in and grab the shovel head and then look at getting

Ourselves a matic which is a versatile tool that is both a shovel and an x all in one and once again i think we’re going to go with pretty much the same setup here where we have the heads made of endstone we have the rod itself made of

One wood and then we have the binding if possible also made from uh from end stone like that and if we throw those together in the old tour station here boom boom and boom we get an end massive nice and that should like i say i’ll be able to mine

Both the grass here somewhat slowly and also uh the wood here nice and fast there we go and now instead of getting uh planks we actually get the whole logs we can of course craft those locks down uh into planks oh i don’t that’s interesting okay so you actually don’t get the wood

It does say in the book that you have to have an x hmm the matic is a hoe as well that’s useful to know but apparently by the looks of it it’s actually not very good it’s not too fast on the grass here and because it’s not an x it doesn’t work on

The tree so uh right out of the gate not the best the best start there and let’s go for a regular x then i guess let’s try that again so we’ll do end stone we already have the end binding because the matter didn’t need one and then we’ll do the the word again

Here and hopefully this time around that’s going to get us a usable hatchet that we can actually use to get wood here nice all right perfect isaac it said pickaxe is the best tour for grass oh it does say that doesn’t it it says pig at the top there in uh in waylo

That’s interesting i wonder if that’s because it’s like end grass hmm we do also pick it up in uh in like grass form as well we do also have alls around the end you’ll see some end copper or here you may have seen some end call ore hanging around over here as

Well um i do also think that we have end iron ore if i’m not mistaken and potentially a few others as well yeah i see some end iron or like right over there and also i guess like right about there though also appears to be what i would guess

Is end tim all but don’t quote me on that i’ve actually not minded any of that yet all right what’s up next chat what’s up next so we have micro smeltering craft a furnace out of enstone while this furnace is far from a real smell tree you can still smell oz

Within it craft a end furnace all right i’m assuming that’s just eight endstone all right so a little bit of end stone later and that gets us the old micro furnace here good stuff which looks like a regular minecraft furnace but just made of end stone instead of a regular

Cobblestone so next up it says legacy of the aboriginals buildings other than the end ships spawn in the end which contain several magical items such as a mana pool obtain a mana pool so i’m assuming that we can’t craft the mana pool with what we currently have

No you can find menopause in custom end cities so i assume that’s what these new structures are for if i’m not mistaken this big old building here is like vanilla minecraft right as is the old ship here and i think this house though isn’t i’m also fairly certain that that

Floating platform there is also not like a vanilla minecraft structure so uh let’s take a quick peek inside this house and see if we can’t find maybe a mana pool potentially this looks promising there we go all right that was a easy enough chat we also have a few

Britannia flowers as well magenta purple orange and white oh it’s a pure daisy oh that’s actually a very nice find the pure daisy allows us to make more living rock and more living wood we should probably also get some kind of chest chat we’re getting a little

A little full here i’ll do a quick peek upstairs okay so we do have some end rods which i also feel like we might as well take there’s no reason to kind of leave those lying around we have a tiny potato mask and a vivid pasture seed i can’t help

But notice that this says bobble any i mean all right we do have quite a lot of end rolls around here actually as well and i will take this chest also chat because uh right now we don’t have anywhere to put all of our stuff

And i feel like we might as well uh we could move in here chat actually someone who did mention that that’s actually not a bad idea at all i might go you know what i might actually leave my uh my chest in here you know dump a few items

We should probably make a um a pattern storage block to allow us to store those you know not in a chest but yeah sure we’ll move it over here i don’t see any reason not to really it is a little far away from the nearest

Big old trees and also i very much so would like to hide the uh the death ware point there if possible there we go i’m gonna do a quick little bit chat of uh of woods collecting before we head back just so we have some somewhat for for further crafting is

That van miner you make a good point we do have all excavator in the pack let me uh give that a quick test i don’t know if it’s configured in such a way that it only works with certain materials you need the excavator modifier or enchantment on your tool to

Be able to excavate i see so we need to get two aluminum two signaling two redstone alloy ingots one manulin and then two slime before we get the the excavate modifier so i think we’re a little ways away chat from being able to uh to excavate anything uh anything useful all right

So let’s go ahead and replace down basically all of these and uh you know we’ll put them over on on this side we’ll have the crafting station like right there but we’ll put all the tinker stuff kind of over on this uh on this wall here like so so we have our

First mana pool which i guess for now we’re gonna replace down like right here what’s up next we’ve got quite a few branching paths here now so we have gift of gifts of god a mannerless pool ain’t going to help you much but fortunately there’s natural pores of mana in the

Stygeon growth biome but the liquids from that but the liquid from the manner is highly unstable you might take damage from it and only basic crafts can be done you’ll need to find a way to stabilize them fill a bucket with mana so we need to get some uh iron

Because we also need a bucket now i do see and i’ll keep the mata on me and also the hatchet i guess i don’t really think we need to be carrying the lexicon right now and i also see no reason not to upgrade this to a double chest right out of the gate

Assuming we can we totally can beautiful and we might as well actually i think plant these ender lilies right now we don’t see much of a use for them but uh i feel like the pack wouldn’t give them us for no reason they do grow extremely slowly

But eventually this will be just the free enterprise which is real nice now i do see a little blue no i thought i triggered all the end of them there i do see little blue pools on the minimap which i very much so assume are

The uh the pools of mana that the pack talks about yeah these ones right here it did say they could be damaging it so i could take take damage yeah you might take damage from it let’s give it a quick test excuse me ascension okay so we don’t take damage

Hopefully i won’t die here oh that was way closer than i would like let’s go get some more chorus fruit if we can and let’s try not to die so the manner in the world gives you levitation okay interesting yes i think i’ll try i guess and like find

We could just start digging down of course and then looking for iron that way like doing a bit of strip mining we could also try and find maybe a little bit of iron like on the outer walls there i do see some tin a little lower down here i assume it’s

Tin it is and presumably there’ll be some iron around on the the edge here as well i don’t know if we have like an early way to actually double our ores i’ll have to take a look in jei in a second okay so we’ve got more call and

Lead or interesting i do wonder how many uh how many odds we have here so far we’ve seen copper call iron lead and ten i see iron over there and also over there as well and also what i assume is ender lapis or and maybe even end a redstone

Actually but all these all all these ores are kind of at the same level we’re at so i have to assume there we go chat i have to assume there is someone on our side yeah there’s like a piece of iron ore right there let’s go and try and

Grab that we can always come back for some of these uh these other ores if we uh if we so wish so we need at least three iron here for the old bucket that’s going to allow us to uh to move some mana around let’s check and see if we can’t double

These in any way so you can just craft it back into regular iron or which is interesting you can smelt it of course into ingots i think the industrial blast furnace might be a little um a little far out of our reach right now yeah that seems like maybe a um

A future isaac problem as does the redstone furnace the pulverizer also seems oh you have to go through android oh interesting and you have to go through pneumatic craft as well to get into nyo and then into a thermal expansion very interesting we do have the squeezer from uh integrated dynamics

Actually how hot is that that’s pretty doable 10 iron and then some wood gets you the older the old squeezer here squeezes flattens and crushes by jumping on it redstone pulse to reset that might not be a bad investment chat if we can get one of those going sooner rather than

Later we can hopefully double all of ours it is going to require a little bit of um you know of tedium in the form of bouncing up and down on the old uh the old squeezer there but nothing we can’t uh we can’t handle does it actually tell me

What y level they spawn at it does so we can see here actually if we press um r and we look at the recipe for the end iron ore we can see it’s kind of most commonly spawning between y levels 30 and 45. uh right now we are at y level 38

So we’re kind of in that that peak spot four iron it looks like the highest might be 34 so maybe a tiny bit lower but yeah let’s head on back up and i think let’s start like a strip mine closer to the uh closer to our base

So let’s go ahead and dump all these we have 26 end iron now check which is pretty nice let’s go and start that that’s melting up we want to get 10 i think to start with here so we’ll put 10 in once we have 10 we can look at making the old squeezer

To double our ores which i think is definitely worth it because that’s going to give us you know 32 iron out of this 16 end iron or here and i think going forward we’ll probably set up like a little strip mine down here for um

For mining what i might do is i might just dig a staircase that goes all the way down to the bottom of the world right until we find the void and then what we can always do is we can look at jei so for example

If we wanted uh you know end lead or we can look at ji find out where it spawns and then do like a little strip mine along the y level that it most commonly spawns at i think that’s going to be the most sensible way to do this i will make this

Three blocks high so as not to uh you know crack my skull on here on the roof of the staircase every time we go down here i will actually try and see if we can set our home that’s a good point can we do a quick slash set home we can

Beautiful so now we’re out and about we can just do a slash home and it pops us right back into our our base here which is real nice especially for those long uh you know expeditions so i’m being told by the twitch chat that the look modifier from tinker’s construct

Builds up over time so if we put one lapis on our pickaxe here like this that gets us look one you’re getting all the nice things and a lot of them the uh the look modifier increases our chances of getting more like lapis redstone diamonds stuff like

That and i’ve been told that this goes up over time like without adding more lapis is that right oh no there we go all right so that’s the void right now i’m going to fill that in just so i don’t you know fall out of the world here why level 21

Is the the minimum real quick let me go to the old option so you can press j by the way to open up the main map options here and then options uh minimap presets one i want my font to be bigger so i can actually see what’s going on like my coordinates on

The right there right now you know we can see our y level what biome we’re in at the time of day at the top as well as our current coordinates on the x y and z axis all right so we have 10 iron ingots now so let’s go ahead and make

One iron block let’s grab the old wormwood here and craft up a couple of sticks and see if we don’t have what it takes to make the old squeezer here i am going to move the furnace because you’ll see here the furnace is accessible from the crafting station but that hides my bookmarked

Recipes which kind of makes the bookmarked recipes a little useless if i can’t see them in my crafting table there we go so for the squeezer we need two planks four sticks a block of iron and an iron ingot all of which we have fantastic so for now we’ll put this down

Maybe like right here it does also require a redstone signal so i’ll get a button and throw that down maybe like right about there and then presumably chat i don’t know how much i can put in at once just the 1a we can put one in we can

Stomp on it that’s going to get us to iron dust and then you can press the button to reset and you can do the process all over again now it is of course extremely tedious but it is also somewhat efficient i don’t know if it’s necessarily worth it

With uh with iron ore the iron ore does seem to be quite abundant it might be more worth doing it with um you know the likes of of lead or or lap and well not lapis but like lead or gold or alls that we’re not gonna get quite so many of

Let’s start smelting up the old iron dust here and then let’s get that bucket and let’s see if we can’t get this next quest complete after that we have stabilization these weird plants named enbiotic can be found in the stygeon growth biome they are capable of stabilizing liquid mana and absorbing them

Turning them into blue lotus in the turning into a blue lotus in the process tossing a blue lotus into a manipur releases stored mana so we have the iron beautiful let’s go and uh get a bucket here and let’s see if we can’t get our first that guy’s holding some some oil there

That looks like the i assume the ender iron ore i think there’s actually a quest for it there is extraterrestrial an enderman is capable of infusing iron ore with certain end elements which means some enderman might hold a special block in their hands they also have a lot more health

Than regular endermen with proper techniques you managed to extract a brand new material called ender infused iron ore do i have to kill this guy he does have 60 hearts i’m not going to fight him just yet because that is a fight that we would almost certainly lose

Instead let’s go get a bucket of uh of mana here perfect and then after that we need the stabilization so the antibiotic flowers i believe are these guys right here now i did play a little bit of this pack ahead of the the stream and these really confused me

Because the peck doesn’t really explain what to do here it just says that there are these antibiotic flowers lying around in the uh stargen growth biome and you can turn them into lotuses using the mana but it doesn’t really explain how if you break them they just disappear and if you like

My first thought was maybe you put down mana like an as the mana goes over them they uh they turn into lotuses but instead that’s not how that works you actually need to make a set of shears then break them and then put them into mana like that

That’s how that’s how that works so you can turn the end biostick into the blue lotus by dropping in mana it does consume the fluid but you have to have a set of shears to actually get them in the first place which was not something that i was aware

Of but it took me way too long to uh to figure that out when i was kind of first testing around with the old pack here but uh thankfully we don’t have to deal with that this time around because we have it ready to go so if we head back

Much like with the the black lotus from regular britannia we should just be able to throw this into the mana pool and uh and generate some mana we can’t nice and we actually get the the antibiotic back as well so we can go and throw this into uh

You know more minor pick it up again and bring it back so we can use these as a way to transport mana from those big pools back and over uh into our mana pool and i guess if we wanted to chat we could really go and just grab

Like a stack of these and then walk over to one of those big pools throw a ton of them down try and suck up like loads of mana and then bring it all back in in bulk to save us on on trips so next up i assume the

I i can see a couple of quests here that look like traditional britannia we have like the uh the fourth dimension which wants us to head through to i want us to open the alpine portal and we also have the terrestrial agglomeration plate which is used to make terra steel and

A lot of that battalion stuff of course requires uh the petals from britannia so i’m assuming the next quest we probably want to do here is regrowth mana has many special properties like turning sturgeon grass into vivid grass or calcifying chorus flowers into burn blocks that means you can create flowers hooray

Craft floral fertilizer burn blocks so we can make bone blocks by putting chorus flowers into mana or next amanda maybe it also said we can make vivid grass from the old stygeon grass here and again i believe the way that this works is we just drop the block into the uh the manor

So if we head back over to our local uh local mana pool i believe all we have to do is just drop this in like so we get these uh wonderful blue particle effects as well as a lovely little bit of music and voila we get

A vivid grass nice and it does use up the the mana though which is the uh the one downside though i guess so we need some chorus flowers chat because that’s going to allow us to get bone blocks once we have bone blocks we can then use some of the uh flowers

That we already have so the mystical flowers that we started with can be crafted down into mystical petals like so those mystical petals can then be crafted with a pestle and mortar in order to make the mystical in order to make actually do we need to hold on floral fertilizer

Yeah you can then use the petals with a pestle and mortar to make the floral powder pestle and mortar fairly easy it’s a bowl a stick and a plank and then once you have four floral powder you can craft up a floral fertilizer and you can use that on

The grass here to get even more petals so it’s essentially a way of getting really as many petals as you like because the petals are used to make flowers from britannia so let’s see chat along the way we should really pick up as many of these as we can they do also provide

Light as well which is interesting so i might plant some down by our base just as a um as makeshift torches even though we’re not at risk of mobs spawning it would be nice if it wasn’t uh you know super dark and while we’re at it we also want to

Keep an eye out for chorus flowers which we should go and uh go and get as well so like i said i kind of want to stay away from these guys at least until we have some armor and or some some weapons but i think this is again another

Kind of custom building which does look like it has some britannia flowers in it it totally does nice and there’s also a chest there as well with man of steel boots and a blacker lotus so this much like the the blue lotus uh we can throw it into

Our mana pool it’ll give us a nice chunk of that of mana the man of steel boots are nice they give us a 10 mana reduction when it comes to uh to making certain things tools on watts and i assume as we explore more we can maybe find more

Pieces of armor in other other areas for now though let’s go and uh grab those flowers so chad is telling me to grow a car with food here which i will uh i will oblige there’s like a weird piece of uh i’ll plant a few of these do we just put

These down chat is that how that works like if i just do that or they grow into uh into plants for me there’s a weird floating bit of end stone here which has kind of caught my eye it could just be a natural bit of end stone spawning but i’m also

Thinking that could possibly be something in this no it looks like it’s just a just a regular old floating end stone platform okay let’s also not die and if we can let’s check out this platform here because this also could have a chest of some description on it as well

I do wonder actually chat if um i don’t know how high we can get with the levitation effect from the mana but i was wondering we could probably use it to our advantage right like get up high using the manner kind of put it down

Carry a bucket with us to allow us to float up as and when we uh we want so i think for now that we have multiple stacks of end stone so we can kind of just nerd pole up here and if you plant the chorus through and place a block three blocks above

It will split and create more new flowers really okay let’s uh see what’s up here so we have yet another chest we also have what i assume is water right there the chest has some fairy dust there’s also a brewing stand which i’m definitely going to take because i

Again i do know for a fact that uh a quest a little later on here is for the catalyst uh the alchemy catalyst which uh if we look at the recipe for the alchemy catalyst it does require two brewing stands so that is gonna make our lives a whole

Heck of a lot easier there’s also some purple stained glass and i think i did see another one of these floating platforms is not too far away i guess we’ll go check that out when we need the uh the alchemy catalyst for now though let’s uh let’s head on back and let’s

That it’ll split off into uh multiple different flowers which will hopefully allow us to get more flowers faster because while we do want the cause fruit as a source of food we also kind of do want the flowers for for more bone blocks going forward

Nice so if we head on back over to our little pool of mana and we put down one of these six chorus flowers that we have uh by put down i mean drop it into the mana pool that should solidify into a burn block look at that chat it’s just that easy

Now i assume it does need to be placed oh maybe it doesn’t need to be placed in i think we lost one i was gonna say do you need like a solid oh okay that’s interesting because this one of course destroyed the uh the bit of mana it doesn’t look

Like it has to go into a source block it looks like it can go into a running block and you still get the bomb block so we can get we don’t actually have to use any of the actual mana we can just put it in a source block in a flowing block

Nice okay that’s good to know that’s good to know that’s a book i believe really i hope not either way we now have five five blocks it destroyed a mana source block near it really oh it’s it’s consuming attached source blocks um you might be right there chad actually

Like maybe it’s pulling some nearby ones that would make sense as well so let’s uh let’s see here if we craft up at least one of these old burn blocks here into bone meal we can then come over to our crafting station we want to craft some of our flowers

What flowers do we have here we’ve got a nice array it doesn’t really matter which ones we choose for now i’m going to go with these two pink ones and how many do we get the two pink ones should do fine so we’ll craft those up we’ll then grab our

Wormwood logs we’ll make a regular minecraft bowl like so as well as some regular minecraft sticks and if we do something like this we get a pestle and mortar which you can then craft up with our four mystical pink petals to get four of this uh floral pink powder at which point

I believe this is a shapeless craft by the way so you can put these anywhere in the crafting station and it will still work they don’t have to go in a specific spot but that gets us floral fertilizer and then with that we can then regrow more i

Don’t know actually if you can do this on the grass over there or if it has to be done on vivid grass the fact that the quest book tells us that we can make vivid grass makes me think that you do have to do it on vivid grass

And so it might not be a terrible idea chat to put down a bit more vivid grass because the more vivid grass we have the more chance we have of getting like the maximum amount of um of flowers yeah let’s go um let’s go get chat a little bit more vivid grass and

I’ll kind of extend out i think these two sides here before we start using our our floral fertilizer it doesn’t need to be huge there is like a maximum amount of flowers i think it’s maybe four that you can actually get from the floor fertilizer so we’re not going to get

Like 50 if we make this bigger um also i don’t know why there’s chorus fruit in there but if we go ahead and right click with the floral fertilizer on the old vivid grass we get flowers and you’ll note that we got more flowers back than we uh

Than we used right we used two flowers we got three flowers so we are gaining flowers uh people in the twitch chat did also point out that uh what you can do as well is you can take the petal here and if you put the petal down you can then

Bone meal it to get this tall orange flower and then if you shear them you get this tall mystical orange flower that you can craft into four petals so you can essentially turn one petal and one bun meal into four petals essentially you know quadrupling the petal there which is

Real nice indeed so we can get more of once we have a color that we want we can get more of it fairly easily by doing that but to actually get the color initially we do have to go through the floor fertilizer either way what else do we have here we have uh

Nature’s aware still wandering around cluelessly trying to find the biome that you desire let nature guide you with the compass craft a nature’s compass i believe we did use this in uh q-tech it is a little pricey the mana steel is not actually too bad it’s iron

And mana in the old mana pool we then need one chorus flower one wormwood sampling one stigen creeper which i assume is the uh the things kind of dangling down there i assume we can share those i don’t think we necessarily the compass just yet um we were quite lucky to spawn

Quite near to one of these biomes with the trees um i assume if you didn’t that could have been uh you know a bit of a pain but thankfully we’ve not needed it just yet if we need to find a certain biome in the future this is very useful because you can just

Select the biome from a big list and then it will point you to where the nearest version of that biome is so you don’t have to kind of wander aimlessly which is real nice we also have sub soul scribe tired of killing enderman then this dagger is for you craft a soul scribe

So this requires an end knife blade an end binding an extraterrestrial matter a mana pearl and a living wood twig interesting i’m not familiar with this item but i’m very interested in how it works so a mana pearl is super easy for us to make it is quite simply an ender pearl

Plus mana right now we do not have enough mana however if we uh eat for one but then head on over to a mana poor sauce we can of course start uh utilizing these antibiotic flowers here to bring quite a large amount of uh of mana back we also have our black

Lotus as well or our black her lotus that we can drop in our mountain pool to get a little bit of extra mana just on the off chance that the eight blue lotus is here are not quite enough but uh there we go hopefully we’ve got a decent amount in

There now do we have enough to make a mana pearl we do indeed beautiful so all we need now chat is like two more blank patterns one for the knife and one actually have the binding so let’s take the binding let’s head on over to the stencil table and make the old uh

Knife blade which i think is this one down here it is indeed and then we can go ahead and craft up a end stone knife plate like so as well as an end stone binding like that and at that point chad the only thing we’re missing here is

The living wood twig which is just two living wood which thankfully we found just on the floor in this room and so boom and we already have the extra terrestrial metal boom nice okay so i don’t know if this is like actually anything special or if it’s just usable

To kill like it’s just a weapon that allows us to not die instantly when fighting enderman all right let’s um let’s try something here then let’s try chat first of all getting some end stone because of course we can kind of avoid taking damage from the enderman if we

Build like a little platform above us right if we’re hidden i was hoping to find one that had like one of those pieces of uh of infused iron because we to be honest oh i see one to be honest we don’t really need to kill the enderman right there were more than

Enough ender lilies around to where killing enderman is kind of unnecessary however if we build this cowardly little you know enderman killing hole what we can do is we can go and find where the heck did he go come back where did your oh there he is if we like hit this guy

Enderman 10 damage per hit yeah it brought it down quite fast but those guys have 60 hp and yeah 10 10 hp per hit is quite good all right so that’s that taking care of what do we have here what are you waiting for the stygeon acid found in the acidic

Plains biome sure is harmful but with proper tinkering it can be purified into water this is not the overworld so infinite water does not come easy i’m afraid fill a bucket with the stigen acid so this seems like a point in time where the compass and let’s um bookmark some stuff here

But the compass seems like it would be very useful here so it doesn’t actually look too bad we don’t need a single piece of redstone which is something we’re currently missing we also need four iron that also doesn’t seem too bad again i will for now do a little bit of

Uh of jumping here and then we’ll throw that in there with some coal we also might need some more mana yeah we only had enough for the one the one mana steel there however if we drop in this old black alertus i think that should give us quite a substantial

Amount of mana maybe even enough to get all the way up to the four mana steel look at that chat perfect all right so at that point we have the cause flower or the very least the ability to get one uh from our farm which seems to have

Stalled somewhat uh can i get confirmation on whether or not this uh block placing technique works but either way we can go get some some more fairly easily right um other than that we do need to get a sapling a wormwood sapling but that seems fine we have to break

Some one wood leaves and we’re also going to have to get a uh a sergeant creeper which again seems fairly easy i assume we can do that with the shears and the antibiotic we can get so we just need redstone really where does the end redstone spawn most

Commonly it spawns most commonly around y level 33 so if we uh quickly dump some of the items in our inventory that we’d like to be carrying around with us all the time here i will take some end stone with me for some uh nerd polling if we need it we also got

The term of oli of origin right click to set your spawn point there we go all right but uh yeah let’s go see if we can find some redstone chat uh works we have to plant it after the three high block is placed all right let’s uh let’s replant these

Then if that’s the case so let’s if i replant that there you’re saying now it should should work nice all right we only need the one piece so uh 42 redstone there is actually more than enough so we should now be able to make a normal minecraft compass

Assuming we have four iron in here which we do fantastic let’s do a one of these and then now the only things that we are missing are the the two items from the trees so let’s head on over in this direction it does look like the

Chorus is working now which is very nice indeed so we turned one flower into a fourth fruit there which is very nice but yeah i’m assuming that over here all we need to do is shear some of these kind of vines that are dangling down and if we’re gonna do that

Chat we should probably just uh just a thought that i’m gonna throw out there we should probably have our shears on us if we’re gonna do some shearing there and then uh presumably for the sapling we can just go and break some of the leaves as well all right so let’s

See if we can shear this we can indeed beautiful i’ll take a few just in case they’re needed for other recipes and then let’s nerd pull all the way up to the leaves here we could if we wanted to try and chop the whole thing down at

That point i assumed that fast leaf decay would kick in and uh break all of the leaves but the tree does seem a little big for us to try and chop the whole thing down i’m very interested i’m surprised actually that these leaves drop apples that’s very interesting i did notice

Into the saplings like a guaranteed use there we can infuse wormwood leaves with mana to get wisdom leaves which is what happens every time i join a room chat anyway there we go beautiful okay so we have two worm saplings let’s uh get back down shall we all right so we should

Now have everything it takes to make this all that compass here if we go and grab one uh singular comes through of course flower even there we go all right so boom boom and boom now with the niches compass what we should be able to do is look

For the acid biome which is actually no no not like this Oh gosh dang it i was hoping to build a little cowardly hook real quick you know what just for that you’re going down my friend you can’t beat me in this uh in this this room gosh dang it get out of here there we go let’s have a look so

The stargen acid is found in these uh the acidic plains biome okay so let’s see if we right click with the compass acidic planes is what we’re after so if we click on that and then click start search it tells us the nearest one the newest one is a thousand blocks away

Which is a little far chat i’m not gonna lie we do have ender pearls so we could use those to kind of uh you know enhance our our speed but i’m still not too sure it’s gonna be a quick a quick trip look at that chat we have actually

Oh my goodness i was not confident it does look like chat was right though our look has gone from one to ten just from mining we put one lapis on there and just through mining we managed to get up to a 10 look there which is

Real nice indeed so before we head out i guess we should uh repair our pickaxe it’s a little birkin right now um but people do also always point out to me that we can take sharpening kits with us to repair our tools on the go however it would look like

To make an end sharpening kit oh no maybe not i was gonna say maybe we need to use a smell trip but i think actually all we have to do is craft up the sharpening kit pattern which is this one right here and then over in the old part builder i

Think we can just do this yeah we totally can nice so now when we’re out and about we can just craft our pickaxes with the sharpening kits and it will repair it on the go before we head out there is a quest down here to make a um a waste on

Do you know darwin this piece of ancient artifact can surely help you craft a waste on how hard is this because ideally if we could get one of these like over by the acid biome that would be uh ideal it requires three per per block three end stone bricks and then a warp

Stone the warp stone requires a mana diamond four mana pearls and then four purple dye i am not aware currently of a way for us to get diamonds i think it’s possible that we could find diamonds in some of the structures around us i think we need two of these as well so

You can put down two way stones and then you can teleport between them people are pointing out that the end cities like i’m assuming this guy right here might have some diamonds in it i guess we do now chat have the ability if we want to make some like iron armor

Or even if we wanted to you know upgrade it to a tomato steel armor i don’t know if we really want to be using our mana like that just yet but i’m definitely all for making some iron armor here before we head on out so let’s um go

Ahead and make an iron chest plate which um might be all right for now let’s also take our dagger with us i don’t know how well the dagger is going to hold up against the old shulkers but i would like to uh potentially have a bit of an explore

Into this old building here let’s make a shield so we see the one iron and then some wood that seems a very very doable chair and if that protects us against the uh the levitating effect of the shulkers that would be ideal okay let’s eat as well

And get the purple petal and of course using the old sheer bone meal technique we can we can multiply those petals and we need what eight of them yeah well eight floral per purple powder will do the trick so we do wanna make sure we keep at least one purple uh

Petal so we can make more in the future uh but for now that’s eight if we do that one more time that gets us up to 11. if we put all but eight of those away we can then craft those up with our pestle and mortar and that’s the the floral purple powder

Taken care of right these bits here we then need eight mana pearls and two mana diamonds so really for that child we need a lot more uh mana because presumably oh we do have oh my goodness that’s uh that black alert has had so much mana in it

Like oh my goodness it had so much wow all right well at that point chat we have what it takes to make two warp stones and at that point all we’re missing is some end stone which we actually can make very easily and there we go we should have two way stones
