Minecraft Medieval Tower Tutorial [How to Build]

Well hello everybody and welcome back to another minecraft video this is mythical sausage how is everybody doing i mean i’m doing great hopefully you guys are doing amazing because we are back again doing another tutorial and this time we’re going to be doing this awesome medieval tower that you see right behind

Me i love this tower so much i can’t wait to build this right now let’s do it block for block let’s go and here we go with the block palette so we’re going to be using some stone brick some stones amanda site and cobble for the base

We’re also going to be bringing in some oak some dark oak and some spruce for each layer and here we go with the dimensions everything is so easy super simple to set up everything is laid out in wool and stone this base of the tower we’re gonna

Be mixing in a lot of these other stone blocks but for right now let’s do everything out of stone break so we’re gonna start here from the back and just go down one two and three one in this corner three here one in this corner three over here one in the corner three

And then one so we have this look to it and we know we have a center point perfect right there now all we got to do is raise all of these up by five total and now everything is up by five now next up let’s go right in

Front of this tower it’s gonna be the way in we’re going to put three stairs one two and three right here i’m gonna put an upside down on each side then let’s knock down these three and then put an upside down stair here that’s gonna be our way in

Now here we’re gonna turn this corner let’s put one block on this side one stone break block on that side stare on each side facing inwards towards that pillar over here we’re gonna go with three as well i’m gonna put a upside down stair here

One on this side and a slab in the center i’m gonna knock down these two for a window turning this corner again same thing two of our blocks stairs facing inwards we’re gonna go here again three blocks on this side upside down stairs on both sides

We’re gonna have a slab in the middle and break these two out for a window we’re going to go with two folds here stairs again placing forward towards that we’re gonna go with three on this side upside down stairs on both slab in the center let’s knock down

Those two and then two more four blocks here and two stairs on each side we’re gonna go with regular clear glass here but you can replace this with either fences or any colored glass or even trapdoors but then on this side we’re gonna place two trapdoors on this edge

I’m gonna put a gate in the middle of our dark oak open that up and we’re gonna put a campfire on top just make sure you extinguish that right there and then let’s repeat it on all of these windows so two glass gate open up campfire on top extinguish

That and then trap doors on the left side one more two glass gate open campfire block extinguish that and then two trapdoors here now i’m gonna place some slabs we’re gonna put one on each side here and a trapdoor in the middle i’m gonna put a trapdoor on this side

Again two of our slabs trap door on this end one on top of these right here two slabs trap door in the center and then one more time we’re gonna put a trapdoor in that corner trap door in the middle and then two slabs right here jumping back in the

Front i’m gonna put two cobble walls on top of those stairs here i’m gonna put a fence of our dark oak on top of that campfire blocks on top here and let’s go one two and three and extinguish these on top so we have our front door

Now before we go on to the next section i’m gonna give this a little bit of texturing so what that means is really simple just come in here drop in a little bit of cobble in random spots like so also bring in a little bit of andesite in random spots too

Doesn’t have to be exactly where i’m placing it just randomized so it looks pretty cool and pretty unique so something like this i’m just gonna do this also adding a little bit of stone and do this all the way around and at the end it should look something

Like this looking pretty cool now next up let’s go on the next section and we’re gonna give a little bit of a lining on the top here it makes it easier to place blocks but it also looks good from the inside so i’m going to place some trapdoors on

The edges right here just like so right next to those beams pretty much next to that trapdoor replaced already then i’m going to grab some spruce slabs i’m going to be placing them here on the middle sections between the trapdoors like that then down below here i’m going to be placing

A plank right here of our spruce one on this side and then a sideways oak log i’m gonna do this all the way around so planks in between here and then the log in the middle like this then i’m going to grab some strip charcoal clogs and we’re going to go up

One two three and four four on this side so let’s do this on top of every one of these spruce plates we just placed this goes all the way around like this now once we have that in place i’m gonna grab some glass and i’m gonna go with clear glass again

We’re gonna go up one and two i’m gonna place a upside down stair of our spruce right here then i’m gonna grab an oak log put that sideways like this so let’s repeat this all the way around so upside down stair we’re gonna go with two glass and our oak in the middle

I’m gonna go again two of our glass upside down stair right on this side and then oak in the middle and then one more time over the middle upside down stair and then two glass on the side then we’re pretty much gonna repeat what we did down here so we’re gonna grab

Our gate put it on the top side of that pane there i’m gonna grab our campfire block put it sideways extinguish that and then we’re gonna go with two trapdoors on the left side like this now let’s just repeat this all the way around and then at the end all

Of the windows should look exactly like this matching each side then from here we’re gonna grab some barrels we’re gonna face them downwards all the way around right here this gives us a nice little transition i’m gonna grab some stairs of our spruce let’s go upside down on this level so

Upside down stair here one on this side and then a slab in the center let’s go with a slab on this corner two upside downs and a slab slab again and we just pretty much just repeating what we did we’re going to do this all the way around just like

This once we have that we’re going to do the same thing again but on the barrel layer so upside down stairs slab in the center slab in the corner two upside downs and a slab slab in the corner two upside downs and a slab another slab here

Two upside downs and then slab in those gaps so we have this look to it here oh forgot these trapdoors hold on perfect now on top here we’re gonna be placing more slabs but i’m going to place them on top of these upside down stairs

All the way around like this so we have this look then let’s place trap doors of spruce right in every single one of these gaps going all the way around like that so now we have this layer now let’s go up to the next section and

We’re going to do what we did similar down here but with a different color palette we’re going to be doing this section out of oak so let’s go with oak planks in those corner bits just like we placed down there with spruce but now with oak

Then we’re going to grab oak logs and place those as a little cross beam in between we’re going to grab our stripped oak and do what we did similar to down there but we’re going up now with the stripped oak one two three and four i’m gonna go up

By four on top of every one of these planks we just place exactly what we did at the bottom now you don’t have to be changing color palettes like this if you want to keep the same style you can go ahead and do it or you can change this to any other log

Or strip log variant it will look pretty cool and exactly what we did down there two glass on top of every single one of these right here once we have that we’re gonna go with upside down stairs on top and it’s gonna be with our spruce you can also use oak as well

I’m gonna do our cross beams here at the top layer just like this and then we’re also gonna grab barrels and do the same thing do that wrap around all the way around like so wrap doors on the left side of these windows then dark oak fence gates on the top bit

Of those glass panes and campfires on top of those fence gates we just placed extinguish all of these now on the next layer we’re going to do the same thing we did here so we’re going to go right on this layer where that oak log is at

Upside down stairs right here next to them flabs in the little gap so we’re going to do this all the way around so two upside down stairs in a slab slab on the corner two upside down stairs and a slab slab in this corner two up don’t open

That two upside down stairs and a slab on each side now repeating it again upside down stairs right on top of the upside down stairs all the way around like so and then in the gaps we missed we’re gonna grab our slabs and place those on the top layer

Just like this once you have it all wrapped around it should look like that then next up we’re gonna grab some of our spruce stairs and let’s place them right down in the center right like this on top of that slab we’re gonna do this all the way around

In this little middle section like this now we’re gonna grab our screws planks i’m gonna place it right behind the stair and go up by one so behind us there and up by one all the way around like this gonna grab some dark oak planks and we’re gonna place those in

The little gaps here on top of every one of those barrels you see then let’s grab some dark oak stairs and face them inwards all the way around on top of the planks we just placed then we’re gonna grab our spruce stairs and place them on top of the spruce planks

Like so now we’re gonna grab another spruce plank and let’s place it right behind each one of these stairs like this and then on top of every one of those stairs around like that i’m gonna grab our darko planks let’s place those in the little gaps in between now i’m

Gonna grab some dark oak fences and place those in between those planks i’m gonna go with our stairs of our spruce right around here on top of the planks go ahead and put a plank in the middle plank on top and a barrel on top of that

And go with a cobble wall and then two dark oak fences on top then i’m gonna grab some of our trapdoors of our spruce and let’s place those in the plank sections right here on top of every one of these stairs we’re just going to wrap this around

Until we have all of this all done once we have these in place we’re going to grab our dark oak trap doors and place them on the top bits of every one of these sections here until we have that done and that is our completed tower right

There now let’s go on the inside let me show you how to set up the interior for this tower you can do anything you want in here but i’ll give you guys some inspiration so right here we’re gonna go just with some spruce as the flooring can go with any kind of

Flooring i’m gonna go with the spruce here i’m gonna grab an oak log gonna go right in the center and we’re gonna go up from here so one so two three four right here i’m gonna grab some trapdoors of our oak i’m going to be placing them

Right here on the sides just do a little cross pattern here on the top bit and then here i’m going to go with the same trapdoors or spruce that you see right behind it and put it on this side so we have this layer to go up to the

Next section let’s jump back down though let’s set up this section here so for this section i’m going to put a ladder i’m going to put it on the back side let’s go one two and three here you can open that and go right through this section here i’m gonna make it

Almost into like a little bit of a kitchen area so let’s go a furnace it’s go with a blast furnace and the smoker here i’m gonna go right on the back here let’s put some storage go with three barrels right here one two and three and go with

The chest so go one on each side here and let’s just put two more on this corner i’m gonna put a little lantern on this side a little flower pot over here put a flower on top gonna put a crafting bench on this edge cauldron in the middle and a little bit

Of water in there and add one more barrel over here and why not let’s keep up the chest and put some more storage right there i’m gonna go with a composter on each side and a couple bushes right here in the front let’s go with a simple spruce door in

The middle and we have ourselves our first floor done now for this next section i’m gonna put a ladder to get to the next floor you can put it anywhere i’m gonna put it right here this is the front door section and go up one two three

Let’s go four and five right here where the barrels are placed this is gonna be the flooring for the next layer i’m gonna do the same thing we did over here but let’s do it with a beam in the center just so we can go ahead and maybe hang some lights from there

And then on this side i’m gonna go with uh just some trapdoors let’s go with a regular old spruce going down but let’s knock down these little middle bits just to make it look a little better i’m gonna put some slabs on the side right here so we have this

Roof to it over here you can do anything so i’m just gonna make this almost like a little storage area i’m gonna put three barrels on the side let’s go with some slabs on the corner trapdoor in the center over here i’m gonna make this into a

Little bit of a writing there so let’s put a lectern on that side let’s put a bookshelf over here i’m going to go with an upside down spruce stair on this side just make sure you don’t block the ladder to go up and down that’s fine

Go with a little seat over here i’m going to put a dark oak slab and a little trapdoor right here oh facing this direction perfect put a light on one side over here put a flower pot on the other drop a flower in here and let’s put a book of

Coil in the center just for added detail let’s put maybe a little painting there on the side that looks good maybe a little trapdoor on this corner let’s add another chest why not just for some more details there it looks pretty good let’s go up to the

Last floor now for this section i’m gonna make a bedroom so uh make sure we know where the ladder is so don’t put anything on that side i’m gonna put a bed facing this direction let’s go ahead and put a composter let’s put a couple bushes on there up here we’re

Gonna go with some more storage so i’m gonna go with a lining of barrels here on the top and remember you have all these barrels too you can use all this in storage if you want maybe a chest on one side maybe a little grindstone on one end

And uh let’s do a stone coat on the other right here we can add some more slabs and let’s go with the trapdoor in the center now for the ceiling let’s go ahead and put a little cross beam right down the side here and then we can do the same thing we did

On the bottom let’s put trap doors in the corners just like so and then slabs in the center bits like this in the middle here we can put a fence let’s put a chain down and let’s maybe just hang a light right from this section here and over

Here in this corner just make sure we don’t uh cover up the ladder let’s go ahead and put an armor stand here let’s put some diamond armor on this one why not and just to finish it off maybe a couple more paintings over here on this side i’m gonna drop some cyan

Carpet why not let’s go one two and three there at the bottom you could add a lot more stuff but i think we’re good but that is it that is all there is to it hopefully you guys enjoyed this tutorial let me know if you do build
