Minecraft Mob Farm Cave Lighting LIVE

He Hello everybody welcome back to another stream this time from the eternals SMP kind of working to light up some caves today basically if you didn’t see my last episode I pretty much um finished this mob farm so I need to light up the caves to be efficient

Eternals I’m hoping to light up all these caves here here because the farm is not the best right now so uh yeah should be should be interesting should be very interesting actually do I still have any wood left though got a good bit here probably going to have to get some

More and to be honest I’m probably going to take my chest plate on since I’m going caving probably for the best uh yeah so I said do I have wood in here oh I do so I’m going to need a lot of torches so I I think I’m just going to

Go in the middle of this here and then just pretty much pillar up and then uh mine the whole thing get all the Torches and I’m probably going to use the camera mode to find all the small caves I haven’t been so lucky with finding them they’re probably fairly hidden Yeah it’s uh it’s nice to finally stream from uh from the eternals you know fream is really good for that oh 100% I feel like in the previous updates before they added the the cave update it was kind of okay to find all the caves it wasn’t so

Bad like they weren’t so big and all that but after they added the cave update I feel like finding any type of cave just feels absolutely impossible like there’s so many of them and especially if you want to light them up all the way down which I

Do like I already checked right so I know what I have to deal with but B basically if I enable this so anything that’s within this pink circle I need to light up so like you can see like I I managed to find a good few of them while I was

Digging the farm but like this is this is insane how how big it is so yeah it’s going to be interesting like I’m probably just going to dig like down or something like that to to find caves there’s a couple of what oh my Jesus I guess it’s time to sleep that was

Loud not a fan of thunderstorms in Minecraft I can tell you that especially when I don’t expect them so yeah I need to grab some more coal by the looks of it uh I don’t even know how much I need there let do this for now that is quite the task

Indeed a look it’s got to be done like the farm is more or less working right now but it’s nowhere close to what it could be once I get it done properly so who knows maybe if I manage to to get a sugar cane Farm build

I might have some uh Rockets to sell make some competition out there you know all right so I got this much I feel like that’s okay for now put this on I I really really like the the way they added the quick swap now it’s so good it’s such a good

Feature so I’m going to turn this on a lot of cheats to be honest and let’s see so I can pretty much oh there’s a spider spawner here so personally I don’t necessarily like to light things up from the bottom cuz you always have the risk of

Something falling on your head so I kind of want to start from the top and then go down so I think there was a small cave here did I see that yeah so if I just dig underneath this oh that’s a water cave but there’s a couple of them down there fair enough

So yeah let’s I’m going to put my silk touch on probably need the shovel and here we go I think I should be able to make it right like I have aqua affinity and respiration and all that so shouldn’t be any issues there oh my God it’s so dark in the water though

Go what shaders do I use it’s the complimentary Unbound I kind of play with all these I feel like the the silder ones are too strong and the rea like basically the reimagined are more vanilla likee the comp the Unbound ones add a bit more variation but it does use a bit more

Resources so let’s see where are we I could try to go this way or should I try to go down so somehow maybe I go back there and then I try to dig to the left maybe ah this is a ravine don’t like that where am I I forgot

Already I is the reimagine one currently but only sometimes still new to it yeah I kind of started to use shaders only because I I kind of get headaches when I play too much Minecraft I don’t know why it could be all the like the blocky texture of it I

Guess and then ever since I started using the the shaders is actually a bit better so I guess it does work okay let’s put the elytra on and try to fly out yeah there we go and maybe I’ll close that as well there we go Ravines are the worst

Oh yeah especially when you’re on the Bott of them they might yeah let’s go grab a few more Rockets just in case I’m probably going to have to to dig out at one point like dig straight up so all right let’s see so I could technically go from this

Cave to this one and then dig down yeah I think we got a plan like this is going to be a chore and a half that’s why I said I kind of like rather than just doing this by myself I can just do it on a stream like

The like caves are unlit so basically there’s a lot of spaces for the mobs to spawn but like once I manage once I get all the I mean I’m going to get the iron I don’t have an iron farm yet once I light up more and more of it

Then more and more are going to spawn in like small places so I’m probably going to have to deal with a good few mobs then so let’s see here I can go from that just go straight to across put a torch there yeah here we go pretty certain that the Torches that

I have are not going to be enough but oh well so do I just jump there yes I will and then oh haven’t seen this from above did I okay this is a fairly huge cave here let’s eat don’t even know where this is going okay I guess it’s just a dead

End any left right okay there’s a small one here this one is with water so I don’t have to worry about that so pretty much behind me and go bit up is that right yeah but to the left any plans for the weekend blue or just uh just relaxing playing some

Minecraft okay so oh there’s a creepy creeper I just die already did he really not die from that one shot that’s why I’m not getting any gunpowder cuz all the creepers are spawning in the caves rather than in the farm it’s true this oh I think we found the

Ravine so let’s let’s go up here first my city park has an event where they turn the Christmas lights on o nice that is nice okay let’s see what is the best way way to do this I guess okay probably not that one um I really thought I’m I’m just

Going to Glide down here but uh clearly the the wings had a different agenda there’s Maple treats and hot chocolate and a bunch of stuff o that sounds nice I haven’t had a uh hot chocolate in like forever okay let’s get some of these disposed of I saw you

For the weekend and we are going ice skating actually there’s a an ice rink that just opened fairly close to us and um yeah we pretty much booked the booked a spot so I haven’t I haven’t been ice skating in a couple of years now so we’ll see how that turns

Shop opened in August so every August the first Christmas shop uh opens like they have a I know kind of an early Christmas shop thing and I’m not necessarily a huge fan of that I feel like it kind of takes away like the the whole Christmas Vibe

If you start so early like it’s not even you know not even Halloween came around and you already opened the Christmas shop so it’s it’s a bit extreme so I need to get all the way there can I get away with just putting a torch here and it’s going to reach yes

Okay so the top here seems to be Fine so now I’ll have to go like down there don’t really want to oh well that was smart I think because I went up a lot of mobs spawned here now Stupid Creeper okay I missed that out where are you where are you I just die already can I go this

Socials the mini Hut is super handy oh yeah 100% like there’s there’s some mods that I got so used used to now that it would be so hard to play without look at this creeper just like Jing me like that let’s see what’s the best way to do

This I’d say that the best way is to okay learn how to shoot a bow probably is the first thing to do is there some kind of skeleton spawner nearby or what’s what’s with so many skeletons around okay so like I said I’m going to go up first

Ow okay I got knocked back on the sword which I’m not a huge fan of especially against the skeletons oh there’s another one hi how are you creeper help save on torches oh yeah like it’s huge for torches to be honest like honestly in in this like

Kind of small space I probably would have put a torch down there if I wouldn’t see the two so it’s definitely like really handy to have makes it so so much like it’s it’s like just a pure quality of life to have oh there we go so let’s

See seems to be fine on that side so now we need to venture down here I feel like if I do the big Open Spaces first it should be a bit better cuz realistically if I go into like smaller caves I can kill the mobs faster but if

It’s like a big open space like this it’s probably going to be a bit more tricky to do oh we’re already so low guess I’m just going to leave this lava be oh God do you guys hate bats as much as I do oh we’re witnessing a fight here come

On who’s going to win and the skeleton one no no no don’t shoot at me me now so they can come behind me from there it’s I feel like it’s definitely something up here okay that reach is all the way there that’s nice oh yeah not to mention that I love

That they did um the lighting update I feel like it it’s been such a huge update to have where was that small cave that I saw earlier okay so I need to be careful where I put the Torches here I don’t want to be killed by gravel

Okay out of the first batch of torches here we go ah see this is what I’m talking about like look like such a small little cave like how would you even find that without the the camera mod okay so that’s fine the ability to have mod lighting really changed the game yeah

100% And like the the Lyon when they add it it’s like such a small thing but it adds so much so much to the game and it kind of helps with the caves as well slightly well like in the past all the caves were like 100% dark well now you

Can have some L here and there so it’s not so bad see like there I feel like I got really lucky with this uh with this Cave System here and we’re like right on the border oh I almost looked at that Enderman let’s see oh yeah I wanted to ask earlier do

You guys have a way you place torches when you go into caves for example I place all the Torches that I place I place them on the right side so basically whenever I need to leave all the Torches are going to be on my left ohoh uhoh come on creeper see

You you do that with strip mining I do that with pretty much everything anywhere I go that requires a a way out my God there’s a lot of zombies anywhere I go underground or anything like that I do this to make sure I I’ll be able to get

Out let’s see oh now you come over Okay so it’s a bit tricky to navigate with this like render here might as well just might as well just light up a bit more that I actually need and I think it’s easier if I go through here into this place o there’s a

Go too wild I’m just going to go back I can probably spend the whole night here trying to light up this whole thing actually using shears to collect cob Cobble webs is really good oh yeah I don’t feel like I need any uh like cobwebs right

Now and I don’t really have space cuz my whole inventory is full of torches break that right so we are back in the circle so this is is the area that I actually have to light up pretty huge M shaft though not that I use them much yeah exactly I I

Feel um like building wise I don’t know how exactly would you use like cobwebs much oh there’s some diamonds Don’t mind if I do oh I have no space right uh throw away some deep slate yeah like the what was I saying I forgot what I say oh the cobwebs I feel like there’s not much use for them except for I don’t know like Halloween maybe smoke abandon or spooky places or

Even in games yeah I guess games yeah actually you’re right like for mini games they’re actually pretty good too ooh do we got have an eight here I found more diamonds caving than I actually found in half an hour of uh like actually strip mining even

Torches but I guess like having mini hod I don’t just like place them everywhere I am hearing some spiders and I think those might be the spawner spiders so they would be the cave spiders which I’m not too excited to see all right so I’m uh back in here now let’s run a

Bit and then do this oh yeah I forgot about that the Cactus supply I added that such a long time Ago basically you can claim that only once a stream and everyone can claim it once a stream and it’s basically at the moment it’s just bragging rights there’s no function to it but I said that um maybe further down the line I want to do something around the lines where I

Can make like a giveaway and you can like use those points you can use the the Cactus supply to kind of enter or something around those lines I need to figure out the details for that but that’s what I was uh kind of thinking and I think I also have um like a

First redeem which the first is basically just 100% bragging rights that you were the first one to claim and only one person can claim it per Stream So once it’s done it’s done wow wow I forgot I put a sound effect on that it’s it’s been a while since I

Expensive Channel points that I have I believe are for The like the spicy beans and the um whatever the other thing is the sour things I’m I’m drawing an absolute blank right now spicy beans and toxic waste that’s the one okay let’s destroy this so I know I’ve been here I can see the the feet of a glow squid break This B that way so let’s stay here oh yeah and jump scare right yeah the jump scare uh the jump scare is basically a loud bang so I need to go up here I have to to save my point yeah people uh do enjoy jump scaring me because I get scared really easily Ow I hate falling I always think I’m going to fall right down a small hole and end up in lava or something like that okay so if I go where am I I am there So if I go here and then go up there’s another small cave up there so it is pretty much to my left there we go oh it’s kind of a like a a dripstone cave Around okay then there is one more here that again goes out but it doesn’t hurt lighting oh did that wipe out all my torches now not necessarily but kind of so let’s see ah so just a bit of a okay got it I thought it’s a water

Cave but it’s only a bit of water Actually rude maybe get some ores I really like the the fact that ores glow like this with these shaders it’s it’s such a nice addition okay okay okay stop jumping uh which way did I come from oh this way okay what else like this small thing here

Again see it’s like barely in but that’s going to affect spawn rates and I want to make sure that well it’s not going to be 100% efficient but as efficient as I can make it the farm I feel like it’s already pretty good now with all the lighting that I did so

Really huge fireworks that like they shoot only one up in the air and it like basically explodes that it fills your whole screen and it’s like so so cool maybe drink some more water huh I’m really bad at drinking water when I stream here let’s see does this go

Once I finish lighting up this whole thing so now I need to go pretty much up and a bit to the left oh yeah and I actually want to make um a raid Farm I feel like totems would first of all sell really well and second of all they would be so

Useful to have is this the cave oh and emeralds Zoo all right oh maybe we can uh we can do some business oh I hear a baby zombie Jes you’d buy emeralds if they were cheap enough I mean we’re not that many people on the server for

Me to sell them like too expensive it’s probably not that big of a demand so I definitely have them at a like a reasonable price okay let’s see what’s the best approach for this just YOLO it Bo there’s the portal that I saw that is really exciting yeah I I

Built I built a ra Farm before like it wasn’t the most productive one but it was fairly decent like you couldn’t uh you couldn’t necessarily AFK at it so you kind of had to uh be there or else You’ probably risk dying but it was making

Uh a decent amount of emeralds oh I’ll take the obsidian thank you very much do I want the gold block ah not going to bother too much with that so this is all underwater I haven’t seen a portal like this before that’s pretty neat actually yeah I feel like this is a this

Is going to be another of another one of those huge cave systems I should have checked the storage when I uh started doing this and then to see how many items I actually got while I was here probably would have been a smart thing to do but then again I don’t do smart

To go outside of the circle for no reason maybe one day when uh I’m going to expand the whole island and stuff I’ll think about lighting up a few more places but for the moment I think I’m just going to just stick with my circle here so let’s

Biscuit yeah that’s why ow yeah I don’t want to fall in there I do have pearls Right see that Enderman was good for something hi zombie stupid zombie ow oh my God I actually jump off my chair from that one I’m just going to Burn way too many mobs let’s go back up Okay let’s uh let’s be smart about this eat burst like these zombies are really tracking from from like really far away don’t they so that’s a water cave here is this yeah that’s in the circle so ah do I really have to go down there and I just put like a torch here
