Categories of mobs that can be added are passive hostile and neutral creatures and those are further categorized into animal slash insects monsters humanoids and Golems now this kind of categorization is great because it allows mojing to balance the mob types making sure not to overpopulate one group of mobs over another keeping the

Game balanced but this way of breaking it down actually creates another problem in development since Mojang has been doing themed updates we’ve only seen new Mobs appearing in a few biomes and because merging hasn’t gone around to all of the biomes the mobs are unequally dispersed this leaves biomes like the

Savannah without any biome specific mobs turning the area into filler in a Dimensions like the nether you tend to explore areas only to find the same one to two variants now I understand merging intense had more features with stuff like the biome and end updates however it doesn’t seem like it’s coming soon

With a release of 1.20 emerging highly anticipated end up there has been delayed indefinitely and with multiple biomes needing their own mobs it could take merging over 5 years to add them all but just why
