Minecraft Mod Showcase: Hell Mod (New Items, Mods, And Biome!)

Yo what is up guys i’m not only beats 13 back with another macho case and i know it’s been a while since i’ve done a macho case but recently they updated minecraft to 1.8 and i just haven’t seen a lot of mods that were updated that were worth reviewing

But luckily i found one called the helmod and this is a very cool mod and if you guys think this mod doesn’t have a lot in it just take note that it is in early development i think it’s only like 25 done or something like that not even halfway done

Um but i still think it’s worth reviewing and adds new items it adds a new uh armor adds new mobs and adds a new biome that i am currently in i think it looks very nice i’ll get more into detail with that um but yeah let’s get started

The very first thing we have is the hell gem and this is a very important gem um you find it in caves naturally you can find it in regular caves it doesn’t need to be like in the hell biome or maybe you think it’d be in the nether

Because the nether kind of looks like hell but nope you can find it in any cave and it is still pretty common it’s not that much more common than iron um it’s a little less common than iron but it’s still pretty common it’s not that hard to find

And next we have all the items that you can use all the weapons and such all the tools um but there is a catch with making them you can see the demon sword is uh very strong stronger than uh stronger than a diamond sword but the

Catch is is that you need a blaze rod instead of sticks on all the items you need to use blaze rods but pretty much you build them how you build every other item except you know with the hell gems where you put all the other you know

Iron or diamond or whatever but then you have to get blaze rods which makes it a little bit uh you know catchy because you have to go to another and let me just show off some of these items they do break very fast the shovel is instant if you see that

And uh next we have the axe the axe is really fast you know these items are really fast for what they’re worth i think they’re really good i think the durability is pretty similar to diamond and oops i’m breaking the floor let me just put that back um and next we

Have to pick um i i think this one’s pretty fast not that much faster than diamond i mean it is but you know it’s not super fast but it’s still pretty fast and yeah guys next we have is the armor um and this armor is really good just

For comparison let me just put on some diamond armor um let me see okay the chest piece for example gives me four let’s pick up this and obviously you’d create it the way uh same way except with hell gems so this chest plate gives me four but

This one gives me five so it’s a bit better so if i just put on the chest plate and leggings and boots that pretty much gets me full on you know full armored up uh let’s try doing that with the diamond and with the diamond not so much so it’s a

Little bit better than diamond it’s pretty much better than diamond but not by a whole lot and by the way i did not get that sword let’s just pick that up and um next we have some of the mods we have two different mobs and they’re completely uh completely opposite of each other

Um one is the devil got the devil’s guard and next is the fallen angel first i want to show you the fallen angel because i like that guy a little bit more let’s place this guy down he looks like this he has a lot of health he’s passive

He doesn’t hurt you he really doesn’t do much he doesn’t do anything he just like to walk around he doesn’t drop any items if you kill him let me just kill him real quick come on man die also by the way in his um biome these blocks break with one hit

So you know that’s not my sword being really good or anything it just breaks in one hit so be careful where you break things and man this guy will not die he has so much health and you know i’m sure later on they might make him do

Something but remember it’s in beta if you’re watching this in the future i’m sure they might have updated him and all he drops is a little bit xp it’s not that much he has 200 health which is a lot and i kind of broke the map

Trying to murder that guy and next we have this uh devil’s guard which is a little bit more of a dangerous guy um this guy’s the same amount of health and he tries to kill you let’s just let him hit me with armor he doesn’t really do much as

You can see as 200 health let’s take off the armor just to see how much he does okay three and a half that’s a lot that is a lot of hearts for one hit but he does move super slow so he’s not that much of a worry

Um i actually have no idea where this guy spawns he might spawn in the hell biome um i know that the uh what’s it called the angel spawns anywhere i’ve seen the angels spawn around the biome just naturally and i want to put on my armor so this guy doesn’t kill me and

Every now and then he has a chance of dropping the uh the demon sword i just want to kill him until he drops it just so i could show you guys um but when he does drop it it is not it does not have full durability

It’s pretty much almost broken i have no idea how many hits you could get in it um but you know it’s still worth killing these guys to get the chance of it and i could not get one that’s kind of unlucky come on man i

Just want to get the sword so i can show everybody that’s the only item drop he has is pretty much the sword i’m using right now except for the weaker durability this guy will not die come on man just drop the sword man none of these guys are dropping the

Sword this is ridiculous when i tested this out it only took like two tries just take note that he doesn’t drop it all the time but i would still kill him just to see if i could get it just uh you know it’s worth it because this is a

Very expensive sword and if you could just get a little hits out of it for free that would be worth it and oh my gosh i went down five guides and still no sword but luckily if you have the armor this guy isn’t too much of a problem as you see

He’s not doing anything to me this armor is just powerful and if i can’t get it after a few more of these guys i’m done come on all right this is the last one this has to be the lucky one because they’re just not dropping it you just

Might have to take my word for it um but yeah you can see the sword does 12 damage critical it does 18 which is really good that pretty much means in two hits you could kill like a zombie or a creeper spider skeleton and all right after all that they won’t

They won’t they just won’t drop the sword you’re gonna have to trust me that um that’s pretty they pretty much do i mean i don’t want to keep killing those guys over and over and um yeah some other items that they do have in the mod that’s not

Really important at all um the black that i’m standing on is helder not craftable obviously and next they have this one which i don’t know what it is like i’ve never like seen it around like i don’t know if that’s supposed to be lava i don’t know

If that’s supposed to be let’s see if it’s mineable okay it’s mineable but it’s kind of like obsidian i don’t know that might be a later project and this is the name is kind of weird for this one but this is pretty much the block that’s below this

I don’t know what use you could really have for it i mean i guess it’s for decoration but you know it doesn’t go that much lower this red stuff i don’t think it goes too much lower i think it’s like five blocks yeah and then it becomes uh regular blocks in

The hell biome and um yeah that’s all the new items and stuff but there is a few things i would like to show you let me go into game mode one i just want to show you how common these items could be um as you can see i found a regular cave in

The biome and if i go down here and follow these torches um i just want to show you how common it could be it’s not super uncommon i just think you have to go kind of low and then if i follow these torches i find some over here i dug around

Just to show how much is there let’s count we got three and then we have six that’s six right there that could pretty much make a dime or uh what’s it called a hell pickaxe in uh a demon sword if you do have enough and if you just go

A little bit more over here i found three more so they’re not super uncommon um so they are worth like searching for and but the only hard part about making these items is really the blaze rod firing finding these ores isn’t too much um but it is very much worth it when you

Could do it so it is kind of worth going to another for doing and something else i kind of want to show you that’s a small glitch um as you can see in this one area there are a ton of dead bushes everywhere i think that’s what they’re called yeah dead bushes

Um this is a glitch in the mod where you can see it all the way over there and even over here and by the way these are the guys naturally spawning um as you can see there are just tons of dead bushes which i think is a big problem i mean it’s not

A big problem but it’s kind of ridiculous it kind of makes your world look a little bit weirder i don’t know i feel like that’s something they could fix but remember by the time this video is out then it’s only 25 done if you’re watching this in the

Future then it might be already fixed and something i just think that they should change it’s nothing that’s huge or ruins it i don’t think they should have water in the hell by them you know that kind of defeats the purpose a little bit i don’t

Know i just don’t think that should be there it kind of ruins the environment of it as you can see there’s more in between there and also i think they should add something that has to do with fire in the hell by him i don’t know maybe

Random fire on the hell dirt or something like that i don’t know just something cool and jeez look at all those dead bushes that’s kind of ridiculous they need to fix that that just makes your world look funny if you ever use this mod i don’t know if this occurs everywhere

Or just in the hell biomes i’m pretty sure that’s just in the hellbinds because i don’t see any dead bushes on the sand over there but yeah just take note of those small bugs and um yeah that’s pretty much the helmet this is a very cool mod

Um i really recommend you use this for a single player world if you just want to use it for fun try to get all the weapons but i’m sure they will be updating it soon by the time you watch this video if you’re watching this in the future they’ve already
