Minecraft Mods FTB HermitPack – SUPER PRO [E01] (HermitCraft Modded Server)

What’s up everybody welcome to Hermit pack that’s right guys hermit crabs mod pack yeah it’s not mod sauce this time we’ve changed name to hurry pack and check it out it’s presented by FTB so the FTB team has been working up with us to get ourselves

A pack but this pack is in Minecraft 1.8 endpoint to latest stuff yes that’s right so we’re going oh nope not that one I don’t even know how to do this anymore click the play button let’s log into the server so guys I’ve been playing a little bit like we kind of all

Had a group thing the other day we logged in we’re all dripping around for a little while I recorded some here and there am I putting clips or whatever uh but yep I built myself like a little dirty house or something here we go yeah

Just a dirt house home sweet home I can own for some reason I can’t look up higher than this what the heck and now I can look all the way up that was weird my controls are all messed up I can’t turn further to the left than this I can

Only turn this what the heck is going on with this okay so now I’m outside of my house could I turn properly now is there is something really weird going on here like I can’t turn that way uh okay fixed it yeah I just had a tab out of the Yant

Add back in yeah this is really weird like I could only you know turn so far as like nope sorry can’t turn the mouse any further than that I guess my mouse wasn’t clicked into the game or something anyway so yeah like I said we

Logged in we all got duped around for a little bit I built myself this super Pro House of super proneness right here on a dirt and cobblestone what more could you want I later then add it in some some oak wood to the sides here yeah we need

To get something better but this was like our our derpy first-day spawn house look at this right here wels night logged in before anybody else could really do anything he had this thing going and made everybody else’s house look terrible so what is this this is new since I last saw anything

I need torches tiny torches for a tiny house what is this a tiny torch I don’t know what mod this is from unfortunately you’re missing some of the things uh yeah we’re missing some of the the mods are used to all this is false this house

From like modded 1.7.10 so there’s a lot of things that I’m going to be checking out for the first time here so I did do a one point ten point two playthrough kind of of the FTB on stable pack and that was a little bit ago and yeah seems

Like a lot of the mods are still a work in progress and things like that but yeah we’ve had a little bit of time for Mazda update and this is a new house over here this looks really good too and I feel bad for my house whose is this

One this is oh just Samson’s house okay now we gotta take a look at just asin’s place so there’s a mod in here I don’t know which one it is but adds a little bit of an echo so when you’re inside a building if you listen closely well maybe it’s

Not as obvious there but like footsteps are kind of echoing stuff like that when you’re inside I don’t know what mod it is as that but uh yeah it’s definitely a thing I don’t know what block this is unfortunately we don’t have like the little tooltip or whatever that pops up

When you look at blocks I know there is a mod I think it’s called the one probe that you can make let’s take a look at this thing it’s called the one probe yeah so it’s from the mod called the one probe you make this thing is not super expensive restaurant comparator gold

Nugget and piece of redstone you can also uh did that wrong you can also equip it to a diamond helmet a gold helmet or an iron helmet and then it’ll be like on like you don’t have to hold it when you’re looking at things which is kind of useful I think that’s

Something I would like to try and work towards today because not being able to see what I’m looking at after you know so long of being able to do that yeah it’s definitely something I want so stuff that I’ve collected so far I did collect a little bit of resources

From down below not a whole lot some basic tools I did all the way down to Diamond level down here but yeah um we don’t have anything beyond stone tools right now so I wasn’t really able to collect a lot of stuff um so I’ll show you guys the echoey

Sound if I break a block down here like it’s very obvious and I put the block back there it is found it yeah so it’s very obvious that I don’t know if it’s like if you’re in a long hallway if it echoes more or the lower down you are

That goes more or something like that but there’s definitely something they get echoed less at the top and that goes more at the bottom so it might be like a height thing I don’t know but it’s kind of interesting regardless so I guess what we’re gonna do we should get into

They put torches here did I do that I might have done that we should get into a little bit of tinkers construct to make ourselves some repairable tools in this mod pack we don’t have a plight in artistics or any early game like or doubling stuff at least that I’m aware of

I was looking at like a master reader and we do have this we could get into some ic2 stuff now I did see that there’s like tech reborn electronic circuits which are interesting it’s kind of the same thing as we find iron ingot and all these things uh the one from ic2

I think looks about the same except it’s an iron plate wait what’s the other one an iron plate no that was just a refined iron ingot so I don’t know I guess the ic2 one will be easier but either way that’s kind of a pain we also do have

Ender io so we can look at getting a sag mill um that might be one of the first things we should look at getting as well unfortunately we’re gonna need copper gold and then a way to power this thing like a stirling generator maybe one of

These guys so I guess that’s doable but we just don’t have the resources at the moment we don’t have any redstone so I guess the very first thing we should do is get into tinkers construct make ourselves like an iron pickaxe or something do we need a small tree for

That is there community small tree around here there’s the there’s a purple slime island right above spawn to I don’t know if there’s like a community smeltery or something we should probably just kind of walk around real quick we’ll legs bike walk around real quick see if there’s like a

Community area there’s good times with Skaar well uh say hello to him maybe I don’t know he might be okay I don’t know well just do the old crotchy Crouch thing hi okay um so I’m not seeing like a community smell tree unless that’s what this building is what is this a Cassady

Cup fan okay so this is Kevin’s building so another thing we’re supposed to be doing is we don’t really want to get a lot of machines over here at spawn if you get a lot of machines from a bunch of different players in one little area things start lagging really bad so we’re

Pretty much going to be building things so we can move out a spawn but I would like to make my house better at some point in the future so we’ll be looking at that so I don’t see a smeltery nearby we might just make a vanilla why is that

On the ground this large break torches is that a thing we might just make ourselves like a vanilla furnace or whatever to smell things before we start getting really into with this playthrough oh come on yeah what okay I love one point 10 I guess 1.9 anyway

300 blocks or so I could tell because my home points are like 300 anyway yeah I was off over here I found a little bit of sand then I went down into the mine down below yeah in the mines there are clay and there were some gravel all the

Way down at the bottom so I was able to collect all the things I needed for some grout so yeah I was talking about how there wasn’t like early game or doubling for some reason I was completely spaced the fact the tinkers construct can double or is right so the next thing we

Really need to do is get some lava so we can power our thing yeah we have like just about a stent or two stacks of Seir bricks then made a casting base in a casting table a faucet one drain the controller in then the seer tank we need to fill this

Up for lava so our next goal is to find lava lakes in sealable lava on the minimap fat jail get bigger a zoom in yeah so we want to try and get over to some of this lava so we can grab that for our smell tree and fortunately

There’s not I don’t know what all this stuff is nearby but unfortunately there is not a lava lake like right next to us but yeah we can definitely get over to some of this stuff so I might start digging over here so you get a little

Bit lava I think I might’ve saw there is lava lakes on the surface I don’t remember where actually where we love a leak right here at the other than mine okay my guess the mini map was showing different levels and stuff that’s where

We want to go yeah so I got to do is just dig right over here and we should get it I couldn’t mind this this is I think bauxite anyway if I mind dad with our stone pickaxe uh that’s really cool yeah if I mind that with our stone pickaxe we

Don’t get the drop and I kind of want to get the dru out for different things um I don’t know how we’re gonna make is this uh what is that that’s ten I don’t know how we’re gonna make the molds for the tinker stuff we kind of need gold or

The aluminum brass actually you know what I’m wrong in this modpack there is no aluminum brass right or is that a thing molten aluminum brass no that has been reacted I think this was not a thing in the the previous mod pack I did the unstable version but I guess they

Redid it or maybe it was removed from the other one who there’s a guy hope oh that echo that guy withered me what uh okay you stay right there so you can’t get at me and I can get at you this is perfect the lava he’s protecting the

Lava oh we dropped a chest plate nice so anything else back here and that echo really makes this sound like crazy I like it okay so there’s our lava that’s what we’re looking for so that’s an oz Miam chest plate plus one armor toughness n plus six armor comfort they

Don’t only drop the leggings – cool all right so we got that stuff that’s awesome let’s put dinner see your tank when I just drop the faucet weird all right let’s grab a little bit of lava I think it holds four buckets in this thing so go ahead and grab that that and

That nice and it should retain the fluid when we pick it back up does it say on here yeah lava for 4000 mil abut gets all right so we got some redstone down here so as soon as we get iron we should be able to mine that right this is what

Is there the copper yeah that’s copper we probably want to better this I’ll go ahead and light out all of this stuff I’ll click the resources um set osmium where’s that 10 we have that already think that’s osmium now that’s LED okay yeah the ores look different different mods have different

Textures for the different wars so anyway I’m going to go ahead and get this done set the smeltery up well look at see if we can get a mold going I need to find some aluminum to mix with the copper so we can make the aluminum brass

We can cast out something for the pickaxe head they wait let me get to that and we’ll be right back guys alright guys well I think we ran into this problem last time I played FTP unstable but I was a little while ago and I don’t really remember everything

About it but uh yeah there looks like there is aluminium brass right so we can make or at least it’s here in the fluid form but it doesn’t look like there’s an aluminum ore right so there’s blocks of aluminum aluminum ingots here from tech reborn I don’t think that’s the same

Stuff so anyway there doesn’t look like there’s a way that we can get the aluminum brass to get gold we’re going to need a higher to your pickaxe we currently only have stone so we could melt down our iron in the vanilla furnace or we could try and get

Ourselves the tinkers construct version which I’d like to do so what we can do to fix this and we look at the pickaxe heads the different ones you see there’s two different types of moles there’s a pickaxe ed clay cast this is one I’ve never done before so apparently in order

To do this it’s the same way does consume whatever you put on here um it says consumes Cass if you pour something into the cast you delete the cast the the one made a gold or aluminum brass whatever doesn’t go away this is a one-time use so this will allow us to

The iron pickaxe head right and then we could start mining pretty much everything else so that’s what we want to do we want to make one of those so we need to get molten clay it looks like two ingots worth two hundred and eighty heat Miller buckets you get 144 Miller

Buckets from one clay ball so all we got to do is melt down two of those and then get a pickaxe head right so we need to start working on the other tinker’s stuff we can just get ourselves a wood pickaxe head pour some molten clay on

There get this stuff and then we can do iron right so that’s what we need to do so in order to do any of those things we need to start making ourselves the different things that from tinkers construct so this is the very first step into this mod bag in a progression that

We’re going to do today so we need to get ourselves all the different stuff a tinkerer let’s look at this so we need to get ourselves the crafting station we already have we a stencil table so we need to make Blake patterns plus a plank so we should be

Able to do that just some sticks in some planks easy easy it’ll probably be a little bit easier we grab some of those and like I guess split this in half like a bunch of yeah anyway something like that probably too many sticks but you know whatever I’ll

Do that many planks probably too many anyway so we should be able to do that and then split these up like so we get a bunch of blank pounds.i that’s probably too many but I think that should be fine so we can go ahead and make ourselves a

Chess plus one of these blank patterns should make ourselves the pattern chest a log plus one of those patterns I don’t remember some top or bottom whatever part builder I think it’s a plank plus one of those yeah that is the stencil table there’s something we were

They clicking here I feel like there might be Mouse tweaks in this modpack if there isn’t enough to remove it so we have those three items and we also need let’s see part builder stencil table pattern chest we need the final thing to put the parts together on a tool station

And that is made with a crafting table and a blink pattern easy so we should be able to do that crafting table plus the blank pattern there it is cool so we get all these different things so tinkers construct if you haven’t seen the update version let’s move this bed we’ll put

Our tinker stuff over there I guess the bed can go over here and in this modpack even when it’s daytime you can right click on your bed and you can set your spawn point so that’s super useful we’ll put a torch up here okay so we can do

Stencil table right there should be fine I guess we’ll put the the pattern chest over there I want this to stop Auto refilling because it seems a little buggy we want part builder tool station I think we should be okay so what’s cool about the upgraded version of tinker’s

Contract if you right-click on these things and they’re all online it doesn’t work no uh what I seen before is we had tabs up here I wonder what I’ve done incorrectly maybe we have to have all five of the items over here let me try moving our crafting station over there

Like so there we go if you have all five of them that looks like you get these tabs I guess if you don’t have all five you don’t get the tabs hmm interesting I didn’t know that okay well yeah so now you can click on literally any one of

These the chest or the crafting station and you can access all of them without having to find out which one you have to go to now move around super convenient I like that so we want the stencil table we want our blink patterns in here and we want to get ourselves the pickaxe

Head cabe so let’s get ourselves just a some cobblestone so we can make a cobblestone pickaxe head super simple like so stone pickaxe head perfect so we can go back to our pattern chest when you just drop that right in there it gets another slot we can access that

Whenever we want it okay so now we have the pickaxe that we need to put together our smeltery I did put all the parts away over here so we should be able to grab these and go ahead and make a small smell tree I don’t they wanna dig out a

Spot and put it outside I don’t know what I want to do they will just dig a little spot right here and just set it up in like the basement this is just pretty much temporary so we can get a very starting tools going well probably

Break in take it with us when we’re ready to move out of spawn which hopefully won’t be too long oh yeah like I said before we are going to have to upgrade our house we don’t want to leave it with the dirt cobblestone like it is

We’ll get to that in due time all right let me go and dig this real quick and just set up a very small one by one by two smeltery I think and we’ll be right back guys all right guys so this is not the prettiest thing but this is just temporary anyway we’re

Gonna be ripping it down taking it with us so anyway we have the smeltery controller here we have the smeltery drain back there and on the bottom back block you can’t see it down below is where our lava tank is the rest of these are just filled up with just the regular

Blocks so let’s go ahead and do the things that we need to do first things first well melt down two pieces of clay yeah so one clay ball is 144 we need 288 in order to make ourselves the clay mold well put the pickaxe head here

Yeah and then we will let this all melt down when that melts down we should just build a right click on here pour the mold onto here I guess pour the molten clay it should say onto there yeah and we should be able to get ourselves a mold will also

Want to melt down iron I think we only need one piece I will get two out of this um I’m not sure what we’re gonna do I guess we can do some more clay and get a sear brick hmm no I’ll just say I don’t know we’re gonna

Do the other piece of iron ore that we’re gonna get out of that thing or the other ingot since we get two of them um anyway we’ll figure that out later we don’t have an ingot at but I don’t know what we’re gonna do with it I guess

We’ll just leave it in here so this smeltery can hold 16 no 2.16 more buckets I guess I don’t know two buckets Plus that um it does I thought this thing showed you in ingots like how much you could hold how much was free but anyway uh it’s showing us it buckets in

Milla buckets how much you’re free so I don’t know how much anyway let’s go ahead and just pour the molten clay onto the pickaxe head here yeah the thing that’s cool about the newer version of tinker’s like when things are hardening up they change color which is really

Cool although it takes longer for things to harden so that’s one downfall so as soon as the iron melts up we should just be able to pour the intern into that mold to get ourselves an iron pickaxe head as far as the handle and stuff maybe that’s what we’ll end up doing is

Similar to the iron just make the entire thing iron so in order to make all of the different iron parts we are going to need the crossbar and the handle so go ahead and make those pieces as well we’ve seen those before in many different series that

I’ve done we get three ingots for one piece of iron that is interesting I guess that config has been turned on do you triple your ordinal tree I know that’s a thing anyway I guess we’ll just go with that so smeltery for the win we get a bunch of different pieces okay so

There’s our iron pickaxe head I will make the other parts for the crossbar and the handle and we’ll be right back guys cool guys so I got that pickaxe made yeah we made all the different casts out of the clay and I’ve been using this a little bit so you can see

Right now this is level Grand Master it has a pretty low experience level and it does have magnetic three so as I mined blocks they kind of get attracted to me for a few seconds after a mine one so that’s kind of cool um so what’s really interesting about this pickaxe let’s go

Ahead and look in the chat where is it yes as you begin to feel comfortable handling it and then you get it costs down your depth you’re an expert you’ve mastered the new Grand Master see each one of these level ups that we’re getting from the experience which has a

Low threshold like I said is giving us a modifier so we have eleven modifiers remaining on this pickaxe I don’t know what it’s starting with I can imagine like three or four yeah eleven modifiers that is just insane so we’ve collected some redstone from down under there we’ve collected a lot

Of different things some rubies a lot more of these different words this iron ore right here yeah I’ve already smelt it down so it has some iron on me some iron in here yeah so we were collecting stuff we’re doing good I want to put some redstone pick ax

I don’t know if I really should waste redstone on this thing until we like a hammer maybe a hammer would be better I don’t know but anyway I’ve been looking for gold that was like the reason why I was down there I went all the way down

To the bottom I did poke coal mines all the way both sides all the way down I even went further and when we had the mine but previously so I am still unsuccessful in finding gold and for annalee I guess it’s at a higher level or something I haven’t tried money a

Different level yet so I am curious if we put haste on here that says mining speed goes to 11.5 – from 6 so almost doubles the mining speed is that what we’re seeing here that’s pretty awesome we’re doing it you know what we’re gonna grab some written

Still in fact ah this is awesome we’re gonna grab a little bit more redstone we’re gonna put another one on there because we can says bonus speed plus 40 bonus speed plus 20 so we’re going up to 15 point 4 3 money speed do

It how much more we had 28 I don’t know if I want to put all my redstone on there or not yeah maybe we’ll hold off until we get any more but that is really really impressive just that mining speed all the modifiers we have remaining it

Just costs like one or two iron depending to repair this thing and we get three iron from the smelt rewrite so we will be pretty much able to use that pickaxe for forever I keep having these stone pickaxes on me that wasn’t sure if we’re going to keep using those or not I

Am pickaxe is definitely the way to go this is now our main and only pickaxe so show you guys down here real quick what i’v mind and what God is today grand master level so most of this was already done just did the poke holes as far down

As we can mine on both sides I was looking for gold yeah you see there’s a block there just he spawned I just got done mining so anyway I went all the way down here uh I think I went literally past where we cut to the left for the

Lava previously I think that might have been buried here anyway I lost it’s around here somewhere that went down a little bit further than where we were before actually I think that’s right up here looking on the mini-map and I see the lava lake and we

Have blocked it off no that was right here okay so this is where our lava was yeah I mined all the stuff down here and went a little bit further with that branch mine just mining pretty much all the different wars that we have so let’s see

How fast is pickaxe is now that’s pretty good you guys didn’t see what it was before it was decent it was better than the stone that’s really good now I think that that might be faster than like a I’m in pickaxe like a vanilla style diamond pickaxe so I’m pretty happy with that

So only cost me what like six clay balls to make the cast and then some iron which were tripling in the smeltery does not bad at all so I think we’re well on our way to yeah getting a little bit of resources we’ll have to look at what

We’re going to need to do to get out of spawn though we’re definitely going to want flight well probably looking at extra utilities to to get the angel ring so yeah that’ll be in the plans for later but guys we’re gonna go and wrap the episode up here for today if you
