Minecraft Mods FTB Infinity – COMMAND CENTER CONSOLE [E23] (HermitCraft Modded Server)

What’s up everybody welcome back to another episode of feed the beasts infinity on the Hermit craft server oh yeah guys so we got some stuff that I want to do today first of all our little area up here at the top of the stairs has been looking pretty messy recently

So I went ahead and they cleaned it up we took away all of the machines the only thing that we have left here is just our basic applied energistics stuff we just have an interface there a little terminal power a Energy acceptor yeah and those flex cells or energy storage

Cell things up there yeah that’s all we got all the machines I have removed they’re right here in my inventory we’re gonna find a better spot for those some other time today what I want to do is I want to set up like a little console or

An area where this thing looks like it’s supposed to be right now it’s just kind of out in the open is like right in the center it doesn’t really feel like it’s supposed to be here I think we need to build something around this to make it

Feel like a structure like this actually is here on purpose so I was thinking what kind of building Blanc will be used to do that we can’t use this laboratory block as much as I’d really like to because it’ll have like the little borders around its ends this is actually

Connected texture and when you micro block it it loses that connected texture feeling so we can’t use that I was thinking we could use these canvas blocks that we have right here unfortunately I trade micro blocking these before and they will not micro block so we can’t use those we do want

Micro blocks by the way we we need to surround this little guy with micro blocks is not quite a full block and things like that we might as well just make the whole facade of this thing micro blocks and then we will use probably carpenters

Blocks to like mold it into the wall a little bit I think so we gotta figure that out I think for right now let’s go and flesh it out we’ll use marble we were using marble for other things earlier and I didn’t really like the way

The block was it didn’t match like how white the laboratory blocks were or these canvas and yeah so we’ll go ahead and use this for this console thing so we’re gonna need a saw let’s go ahead and start cutting up so these blocks and see what we can do here so

Let’s take the saw oh I don’t really want to do too many of these right now the yeah we’ll do that many that’s fine so we can go ahead and do that action okay so we got marble covers let’s place those down so since this is not a full

Block yeah there’s gonna be space so we have to use like these little micro blocks around it so let’s go ahead and place these guys down oh you know what we can’t place it there it’s gonna break that cable okay what we can do we can

Fix that we have to make these hollow covers yeah we’ll do these guys and if we place that down there it’ll go around the cable yeah set that little hole in to let the cable through the center okay so that will work and then on top yeah I

Think we will go ahead and use one of these solid covers as well let’s just go ahead and place that there okay oh no no no that’s in the wrong spot that needs to be a little bit lower and it so it hides everything well are we gonna be

Able to place it there cuz there’s a cable in the way I don’t know let’s see yes okay so that is now looking like it’s in a solid block like it’s supposed to be there if we were to put regular marble around does that does that match

It certainly does that looks pretty good in my opinion so you can do that yeah that’s not too bad we don’t actually have to have the energy acceptor right there we can hide that underground or something I definitely want the terminal here and there’s a few other terminals

That we’re gonna need so if you look at the apply nanner just dig stuff whoa let’s see so that’s oh you know what we still need to hook up this wireless thing – um yeah right down here so we have different terminals we have a crafting terminal yeah we’re gonna want

One of those let’s see there’s an interface terminal we’re gonna need that for the auto crafting pattern terminal maybe we don’t necessarily need the crafting terminal but we’re gonna need a pattern terminal and we’re gonna need an interface terminal those are two things that we really need we already have the the

Crafting terminal which is basically the same as the mV the MV terminal so yeah I think we’re gonna hook up all three of those right here in the center I’m not sure what else do we need displayed right here in the front it might just be

That’s all we need so we’d have to come out one more block like this on both sides Oh actually if we have the terminals like right there is so they’re not right next to each other try to get this all figured out so yeah we have like the pattern terminal and the

Interface terminal something like that how’s that look okay so that’s not bad yeah won’t block space between them uh-huh what else are we going to need a frontier um I’m actually not sure maybe we can have some levers to turn things on and off like this machine over here

We could have a leaver turn the power on and off to that thing we’re gonna have to have this puddle with the crystal growth accelerator somewhere we might have an on/off switch for that as well so we might come out two more blocks whoops gimme we had a marble marble let’s grab

A little bit more of this something like that so we’d have a lever here and one here oh we need come out one more row block something like that okay so how is that looking so that’s looking pretty big so I think from here we can go ahead

And start micro blocking that into the wall so let’s grab some wedge some of these wedge sloops I like these things so how do we do this I’ve never placed these sideways that is the wrong way that is the wrong way there we go

Perfect now how do we do these so I need something places up against probably like that and then we’d need one more and finally that that and that okay so how’s that looked that’s kind of cool that’s kind of cool we can place these guys in here yeah that’s not too bad

Then I’d probably do the same thing on the top two and kind of have that going into the wall as well so we’d have these guys along like this this might get a little complicated because I don’t know how you do he’s in the corner how do you

Do those so they go up against the wall there’s like some kind of prison inverted slope thing I don’t know we’ll figure that out so we’ll take these guys fill that all in just enough yeah well bring it all the way up to the wall all

Right so I tell you guys what let me go ahead and figure this out there’s a bit more these carpenter block things that I’m gonna need to to learn and understand we’ll get this all going here and we’ll be right back alright guys so I’ve been spending far too much time on

This trying to figure out what I want this to look like and here we go this is what it is this is what we got no I’m just kidding I just removed some canvas blocks I had here for the face of this and I decided you know I don’t think

Canvas is really gonna work it works kind of well for like these upside down wedge slope things like we got over here whoa glitching through the blocks it works well for here but it’s just too white for a face like that for a wall so we’re gonna swap those back out for

These elaboratory blocks I’ve had to make some adjustments here to the Emme cables and the way this whole setup is to prevent any cables from running side to side yeah we don’t want that we want all these connected textures to be connected we don’t want you have to use

Micro blocks and have these things split up since we can’t micro block the canvas block side rearrange everything for that but yeah I’ve decided we’re not gonna go with those we are in fact gonna go with these blocks so that’s what it’s looking like that’s kind of interesting actually

How it’s kind of got this dark on one side and not the other oh well I think we’ll go with it for now I’m not gonna be super picky about this let’s just go ahead and get these blocks and please oh no oh no I’m doing all

Sorts of bad things okay how do we have this before ding ding um I think I need to hit this with the left click a few times get this face in the right way okay I knew now you was it you know we gotta go I think a little bit further

That one okay so shift click there we go god this time and we will put some laboratory blocks over here so yeah that’s kind of what I’m thinking for our little command center station area where we can access our MU terminal to walk straight forward and we don’t have access to anything

Because I’ve disconnected something somewhere uh-oh what do they do wrong I think it’s time to actually break out some of these blocks and take a look because I did change some things here so we got the power acceptor going this way and it’s going up that way oh okay I

Think I see what I’ve done here so we need to break that we need this whole thing connected together hmm there’s probably a better place for that interface and now that I’m looking at this but we will wire this up a little bit weird just to get it working and I

Will make it better later I think those guys have to be connected like that that’s the only problem do we get stuff now why do we have stuff did I not connect the terminal up Oh No okay we got a look at this now break this guy

Out so there’s a cable in the terminal well what the heck why don’t we have we had a power aha okay so I remove this tesseract earlier and I have another one in my inventory apparently I have replaced the wrong tesseract all right let’s remove that guy let’s

Get the one that has energy blocked energy receive only this is the one we want energy and items receive only okay so now got it so I bet we don’t have to have this wired all weird like this I thought we had to simply because it

Wasn’t working but I bet it’s gonna work now I hope looks like it’s working number of items yeah okay there you go twelve million is still I was like wait a second that doesn’t look like it’s working but yes it is in fact working perfect okay so let’s go ahead and

Button this back up since I had to remove a lot of blocks to figure out what I’ve done wrong I think those are micro blocks let’s get those guys in please yes those are micro blocks to let the light through I might have to make one lose circle once but that’s fine we

Need two micro block up here too because we are gonna use these for the floor let’s go ahead I don’t have my chisel on me either okay where’s my chisel we’re gonna make a bunch more those guys yep yeah those carpenters blocks are kind of annoying when you place blocks like that

Yet does that and then they pop off we got it though I’m just gonna have to get used to remember to shift click place those in place so the reason why we have these micro blocks right here is I want light coming back here and if I have

Solid blocks there’s like a little bit of a shadow around it I don’t really want that shadow showing so if you have micro blocks back there it’s like a glass block or whatever so it lets the light through there isn’t a little shadow plus we have these glowstone ooh

Down here which will provide a light without those it’s too dark on top of this thing so mobs would be spawning here we don’t want that now I know people keep saying in the comments that I should make a magnum torch well I you’re right I could

Do that I would prefer to light things up and just have everything be non spawn a bowl without the magnum torch okay I think we’re good here that’s looking pretty good these levers right here are the carpenters blocks so it’s the basalt block that the carpenter lever is on and

Then I have marble block in there in fact I wonder what those would look like if we use the regular laboratory blocks now since that’s where you’re using for everything else it’s not gonna have like a texture that we’re gonna see or the little lines around it let’s just try

That actually that looks pretty good I like that better than the marble the marble is a little too dull looking let’s put you right there okay and done awesome so I think that looks pretty good we will hook those levers up leader I think we have wireless redstone of

Some type in here so yeah we’ll have that wirelessly turn on and off probably like this tesseract to shut this whole system down so it’s not drawing power things like that so we hooked up these other things we have a pattern terminal here now so this will allow us to set up

Patterns for Auto crafting and then we have an interface terminal here which will allow us to see all of our interfaces that are on the network now that’s at i/o multiple I’m not sure if that is showing us oh it’s probably showing us this interface that’s right

Here right I was gonna say I’m not sure if it was showing us this interface but this is on a sub Network so I don’t think we would see that one okay so what we need to do we need to make some patterns we need to start making some

Interfaces and look at getting the auto crafting stuff hooked up so the auto crafting is a little different in 82 than it was in 81 so in order to do any auto crafting we need to make these crafting storage this is similar to like the the big multi-part structure thing

The multi block structure thing the Mac that we had in 81 except you don’t really need a Mac these allow so many requests for items to be crafted to happen so if you were to craft say like a chest it would say okay you need 200

Bytes of storage if you were to request a stack of chess it would say okay you need 8,000 bytes of storage and you can’t do that if you only have a 1k so you need like a 16 K or whatever so basically we want these higher end ones

So all of these require this crafting unit plus a storage component so the storage components are the exact same things that we use to create these Emme drives over here so what I’m probably gonna do is I’m gonna make oh I don’t know maybe a couple of these 16 K ones

We can upgrade them later it looks like I assume we can shift click them apart just like we can with the drives I haven’t tried that yet I assume we can though so yeah let me go ahead and make up some ease crafting storage we have to make some these molecular assemblers

Which is nothing fancy it’s all the same stuff that we’ve been using for a plate energistics what else do we need we need bunchy interfaces so yeah let me get some crafting done guys and we will be right back alright guys so I went ahead and I made

Some dense cable I made another Emmy controller down here because we’re gonna try some things I want to be able to auto craft some of these processors are not the processors but like the crafting things so we can make all this stuff automatically so I’m gonna set up a

Small little temporary one here until we get everything figured out I kind of want to lay these out in this fashion so they’re kind of spaced apart we’ll be able to see them but after putting them here I feel like we really should lower this part of the floor down so when we

Walk in we’ll be on like an elevated walkway and then there’ll be a four below us with all the crafting stuff that way this will be multiple levels I think it’ll be a lot nicer looking so this is kind of how I wanted to have

This laid out but this is not how we’re laying it out ok so we have our Emmy controller here and I have some dense cable this stuff will allow 32 different channels per cable so the recipe for these is actually not too bad so it is for Emmy covered cables

Per cable and a redstone glowstone dust and then each one these covered cables is a flue X cable with a piece of wool so it’s like four cables in one but it gives you four times a channel so yeah it’s not too expensive so we’re just gonna set that guy right there right

Like that so I have a few more these crafting coprocessors and some of these 16 K crafting storage so let’s go ahead and place these down we’ll make ourselves whoops a multi-block structure out of this so that and that okay so yeah they all turn into a multi-block

Structure so let’s see I haven’t actually messed around with these too much so I don’t know exactly what I’m doing so let’s go and set one of these guys here and maybe you know we’re gonna set these up like this so we can see what all is happening in these things

This is not the most efficiently and I think you could do a crisscross pattern so actually let’s take these down real quick I think if we were to set these up something like that Matt then this and that so this interface will be able to interact with both of those guys then we

Can put that guy right there can I please in this guy right here so this interface can actually talk to you three of those at once I think that might be the best layout for these but it’s not like the best-looking layout for these so I don’t know maybe we’ll

Just do it like that for now so each interface can talk to you three different one of these molecular assemblers hmm should we go up one more well that’s four channels I do believe I think the coprocessor and the storage use a channel actually that’s more than that hmm

Hopefully this works I don’t know if it does or doesn’t actually I don’t think the molecular assembler Zach Chu ‘le use a channel now that I’m thinking about it I don’t know so I still have to make those patterns I haven’t thought about that yet so we have to make these blank patterns

These are very similar to the way you did it back one so let’s just make a few of these guys I don’t know how about eight eight sounds like a good number okay so we can come over to the pattern terminal and then this has to move so we can make a

Crafting pattern or a processing pattern I think if we have it on this mode like you can only put one at a time this mode you put it into the interface so you can have however many patterns that is like nine or ten I think that’s nine so you

Have nine different patterns per interface okay so we want to put those guys here and what do we want to craft first so let’s look at I don’t know a 16 K this guy so we need all this stuff to make one of those let’s go ahead and do that

Okay are we now allowed to just put the ghost items in there because does not look like it so let us undo this will go into the smallest size possible we’ll do the 1k yep all right so let’s go ahead and encode that pattern crafts 1 1 km each storage component before redstone

One logic processor and for Pierce sort of supports that seems legit so we can go over to our interface terminal and this will show us all the different interfaces on here so let’s take that right there where did that go was it this one OOP that one this one the one

On the back okay so it’s right there the one in the back right so we need to continue to do this so let us make the fork a it won’t let us do that because we don’t have the other parts available so I think we have to craft it those up

Okay okay so we can see it here let’s craft three of those okay so crafting plants gonna require 73 bytes of storage so we need 12 redstone 12 peer service courts three of the processors to craft three of those this is interesting so we can tell it which processors to go all

Right let’s just tell the start yeah that was real quick okay so let’s go ahead and tell it to make the 4k oh you know what I don’t like crap that I want to make a pattern almost did derp yeah so we’ll do the 4k here we’ll do

This right so now we can take that and stick that in the same one I guess I don’t know if it’s better to have in the same one or a different one I guess it would be able to continue to craft these and then the other one will be able to

Craft these I’ll figure that out so let’s tell it to craft three of the four K’s o4q yeah this is weird the terminal thing if you don’t have your mouse like right up here if it’s down here you type numbers nothing happens okay so it looks like it

Works of your masters outside of the whole grid 4k so let’s make three of these so that’s gonna require all of that stuff it looks like everything is available right and it’s gonna use 173 bright bytes let’s go ahead and tell it to do that could we see something

Happening that’s really quick something just happened I can see it okay so let’s make a 16 K pattern then aha alright so let’s go ahead and tell it to craft that all right make a pattern for this I should see so we stick this guy right in there

And we need to make three of those I guess two more right so let’s not to make too no we didn’t need me through those aha okay so here we go this is now it’s telling us what we’re missing before we even craft anything this is so

Much nicer okay so we’re missing quartz glass so quartz glass I think this is a yeah it’s one of these recipes so we can just go ahead and get pattern for that as well quartz glass let’s go ahead and stick that over here okay so are we gonna be

Able to make these guys now we want to make three of those says we get everything available so let’s click start I so stuffs happening it’s crafting that is so awesome I like that a lot okay so 16k there you go we got three of

Those guys so maybe we should step it up once again and do like a 64k just to have that pattern ready to go so 64k up we’re missing something what are we missing quartz glass um well we can tell it to crap so let’s go and do that alright we’ll make that pattern

Perfect that guy will go right over here into that same interface awesome okay so we can tell it to craft the 64k one we’ll just make one so well it’s stuff happening I think it happened so fast I didn’t see anything happen over there yeah of course it did cuz we already had

All the components ready to go I just had to do one little craft alright so we are now able to make 64k storage automatically let’s try let’s try that out actually if I can do over here yeah we can do it right here we’ll tell it to

Make two of those it looks like we have everything available so let’s click start so we should be able to see this happening here that’s pretty awesome Kate’s making the bigger ones is it done that must be done oh wait no well you only need what’s going on there that

Tell it to make three of those oh I told take to make the wrong one craftable here we go let’s make two of these so missing pure soreness quartz alright alright so we can see that this is actually gonna work it’s not super complex to do it probably better if I

Spread these patterns around to these other interfaces so it access to these other molecular assemblers to do things but yeah I’m kind of liking the way the subtle crafting stuff is set up I was pretty afraid to try this out originally because it’s way different than AE one

But yeah this isn’t too bad really I mean it does require a bit of thought into how lay things out but there’s only a couple different ways to lay these out really these crafting coprocessors and CPUs and stuff these don’t have to be laid out here I can have like a big

Multi block structure over here I think just as long as it’s on the network somewhere so we can have just interfaces and the assemblers together but I think that kind of looks cool I think I saw the gyms have a setup like this over at his base

I kind of like the way that look we’ll try for a while we might switch this up to something else I don’t know yeah that is pretty cool so off-camera I’m probably gonna work on changing this space a little bit putting down a lower level and figuring out where we’re gonna

Put these guys now that we can auto craft the 64k ones I might just go ahead and get rid of all the 16 keys break there’s a part in just upgrade them all 64 case and make them all like that I don’t know it’s one of those things like

Do we really need that much crafting capacity again I have no idea but yeah we have the ability to do that we have the resources to do it so why not all right guys I think we’re gonna go ahead and end the episode here I’ve had a lot

Of fun messing around with this applied energistics stuff I think it’s time we started messing with something else going forward though I mean we’ve seen pretty much everything there is a sea with applied energistics as far as the basic crafting goes storage and setting up like Auto the CPU stamping thing yeah
