Minecraft Mods FTB Infinity – SPAWN BASE [E03] (HermitCraft Modded Server)

Hello everybody welcome back to another episode of feed the beast infinity on the hermit crab server oh yeah guys so I just log back in the server today and stuff is happening everywhere I didn’t really notice how big our little spawn town area has gotten but yeah I mean

We’ve seen the animal pens down there but it kind of gives you a different perspective from looking up at this height you can see slip Gator back there being a busy bee it looks like he’s getting rubber and stuff he’s got a crazy treehouse right behind me right

There that’s awesome looking oh yeah we got a community like smell tree operation over here and let’s see what else there’s our nether portal back there it’s kind of hard to see oh my goodness back behind me there’s a cobblestone box I think d-mac just set something up

But yeah if you can just spam these foods like when you’re not even hungry anymore which is pretty funny I think top mass and myself were over here messing around with him the other day food waster yeah we were messing around with him the other day just constantly

I’m not sure who this is but I’m not upset about that that’s actually kind of cool because it’s Mountain whoa this mountain is actually pretty big so if we’re sharing the mountain that works for me so over here we got somebody’s base I was looking around trying to

Figure out who it is actually you know maybe it says owner and one of these does it say owner on information I’m nom nom until who doesn’t see I thought these said owner information sometimes maybe they do maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot or maybe I’m

Does what I’ll probably do is put an emerald on here or something to increase the durability that much more since we only got 600 durability it’s not that great yeah an emerald I think is the only other way we can increase the durability but other than that it would

Be just making a better tool be honest this is great for branch mining but we’ll probably want something a little bit stronger later on so these other tools do the same thing like this excavator is a 3×3 of a dirt material in this case gravel will probably be using

These tools a lot to expand out our beasts I also made a stone a lumber ax and this guy see where’s a good spot the lumber axe cuts down an entire tree with one like all you had to do is cut down the bottom block so yeah that is really

Awesome you can combine that at least you could before with smelting and like you would cut down the trunk and you’d get all charcoal back which is really really cool do we even get a sapling back from that geez okay well we’re just gonna take our rubber wooden and run

Yeah it looks like somebody’s been sitting up the two by two spruce trees over here I think I could be wrong I think you can’t have torches right there I think they have to be one block further away for these things to grow that might be why some of these haven’t

Grown or just might be if they were just replanted recently I don’t know but having those kinds of trees would actually be a better example of how the lumber axe works because it would chop down the entire 2×2 let’s see if we can grow this one right here well you grow

One bonemeal oh yeah then we could just chop down that one block we get all the wood so easy right there this is amazing I wish something like this existed in vanilla but it doesn’t it doesn’t did we only get three back oh my goodness we didn’t get enough to plant a

Look at like the different types of cobblestones I don’t know if these are different looks like a whole bunch of different types of mossy and things like that basically what I want to find is how do you make a chisel so I saw that there’s a diamond chisel I’m not sure what the

Difference between this and the regular style chisel is other than you use a diamond maybe you know chant o Sole BAM flim-flam and I’m breaking what about this one I’m not sure you know it’s been a while since I’ve actually used this let’s go ahead and just make ourselves a

Chisel do I not have sticks stick stick I don’t have sticks okay well that’d be why I can’t find sticks in my inventory so we need to get ourselves some wood let’s go and grab a spruce double click that so you can filter by whatever you’re typing in

There we need one piece of iron so it’s gonna do that oh I didn’t show you my resources I guess you’ve seen it while I’ve opened this chest yeah I’ve collected a bunch of branch mining let’s see we got eight diamond blocks which is great plus seven

More whole bunch of extra redstone a bunch of lapis lots of iron that needs to be smelted and things like that we got rubies and all sorts of good stuff going on okay so we made the chisel so I think we just right-click on this thing right yeah oh okay so this is

Different let’s grab some cobblestone see what we can do here so chisel will put the cobblestone there yep okay so we can turn this into a whole bunch of different stuff including colored cobblestone which is awesome okay let’s take this back out do we have any

Regular stone we do which we turn stone into okay so it looks like about the same thing as you used to do before this got the ability to get the colored cobblestone which is really cool I like that black cobblestone from my factory reloaded and all these extra utilities ones

How about stone brick I would like to be able to build something with like the materials we have ah there’s no colored stone bricks we can make these colored stone bricks but we can’t chisel them I can paint them oh dang that stinks hmm I

Was kind of hoping to be able to get some of these materials pretty cheaply I like the way these stone bricks look over here these are pretty cool metamorphic taiga stone you get from the cobblestone but how do you even get that I don’t I don’t know okay we’ll have to

Figure that stuff out later when we get into patina in factory looted oh those are kind of cool-looking large pave stone glue stone bricks mhm mhm okay guys so what I’m gonna do I’m gonna go ahead oh you know what I just noticed that the chisel actually keeps

This right there so I can take that back out or I can leave it in there and it stays there huh interesting okay so I’m gonna go ahead and expand out our base a little bit I’m gonna remove some of the walls and things like that and we will start filling it in

Making some rooms and things like dance so I’ll see you guys in just a little bit oh my goodness guys so carving at a base like this is super easy when you got the tinkers tools especially we got a fortune on this stuff like when we go through

Cobblestone I’m sorry we go through coal and other such things like that we fortunate automatically like this stuff right here that’s a lot of coal that we get out of that so that’s really awesome so yeah I’m just going through and expanding this out a little bit trying

Other series I kind of like it’s just a basic connected texture like around the outside of it you get the little lines kind of outlines things which is pretty cool and yeah sealing we got huge cobblestone tiles again same kind of a deal just regular cobblestone in here

And it’s this one I thought this was gonna be like a really flat not very crazy textures going on which it is I was expecting to be more smooth than this I almost I was gonna be like smooth stone to be honest let’s get some light

On there yeah I don’t know it looks pretty good so I got the ceiling done we got the walls done all the way around get the floor done this is like the detailed cobblestone bricks and right down the center here we have this white or a couple white stone I guess it’s a

Minefactory reloaded block I was looking for something for like an entranceway and then I just kind of went all the way down I don’t know if I’m gonna be keeping this color scheme like the ceiling the walls and the floor are all kind of like a blog grey color I’m not

So sure about this white either but I’m trying to do this with the limited resources we have right now cobblestone is pretty much the most abundant block we have so we have a few choices to go from I would even tried this cobble black stone and that was just too dark I

Mean we could try some of these other colors I suppose but I didn’t want to go too crazy with the colors so I was using kind of the white color block that we have is like outline for stuff like shelves to put things on so I got our

Chests here and I did a little bit of a blue accent behind them using that blue cobblestone made some barrels here so we can put our wood up yep yeah wood we got the gravel whip sitting me and take that dirt and then we also have regular

Cobblestone right there over here I mean another one of these things I’ve made all of the tinkers construct I guess all the different items into slabs I thought it looks a little bit better than having the full tables on a shelf like that I noticed this guy right here the tool

Forge has a smiley face on it that’s kind of crazy but yeah I mean it’s all the same set up we have the the tinkerer table I guess right next to the tool Forge so we can repair our repair our tools in here using all of this stuff

We can make our tools here with the pattern chess if we have to use our stencil table for anything else we can go ahead and do it here we have all of these items on this other side that I didn’t even notice before that we still

Need to make stencils for so I decided to keep that around oh you know what I’m missing a torch right here both a little dark there ya have the torches lead out in such a way that all the red X’s are off the ground

I think it’s f7 you press and it puts a little X’s on the ground so yeah I put those in like the furthest spots away from each other where it prevents all the spa noble spaces so this is kind of what we’re looking like right here I

Kind of wanted this set up so you walk in you got stuff right here on this side and then this larger site I think we’re gonna set up into rooms so we’re probably gonna put walls up and then separate this off divide it up into some

Kind of fashion I’m not sure how that’s gonna work yes yet I just kind of wanted to get something started here for a spawn out so I’ll probably be working on most of this off-camera and like I said I’m not tied to any of these materials if you guys know of like

A better combination or something let me know in the comments down below I’ll definitely change it out if we spend a great deal a time here this is dirty here in this corner by the way because that’s outside yeah we broke through the mountain this if we remove these blocks

We’ll see the outside there so I left that like this we might end up making some kind of a small enclosed room right there or whatever but yeah this is what we got so far for a little spawn base which isn’t too bad I’ve spent a couple

Hours here polishing up all the walls and everything like that just trying to figure out something to put our stuff in mm-hmm okay so something else that I want to do oh I saw that brown through that tree I thought there was something there yeah something else I want to do is we

Or I talked about that zombie spawner last episode but we never went over there I completely forgot to do that I left all the stuff oh my goodness and my inventory oh yeah go drop some stuff off I left a whole bunch of stuff there I didn’t take anything from those chests

And I was waiting for my inventory to be cleared before I did that you know there’s another thing we should probably look at doing can we make this item a golden dag is this too expensive I can’t remember so it’s a gold blocks in wool I don’t know

If we have enough wool for that what is this guy we’re in carnate one I think that spawns back with you when you die hmm I’m actually not sure what that does as far as gold goes we got 20 pieces that’s probably enough right I think so

Do we have wool I would like to make money so we have extra room we do have wool actually might use some this gray wool all right let’s get some of this crafted here oh we need a diamond too I believe so diamond what else we need a chest

Don’t think we have a chest on us let’s grab a couple pieces of that we’ll come all the way down here to this crafting table I have another one on me actually I just got to figure out where we’re gonna put that crafting table at okay so

There’s a chest I think was gold there I think it was wool in the four corners uh-oh we didn’t make dang it well you know what we can do we can just do this and make our block down here okay the block and then I die Oh diamond right here

There you go golden bag of holdings now we can carry extra stuff with us that’s awesome dang it I don’t know why the tool Forge pops off like that it’s acting like it’s wood even though it’s made out of like iron and stuff I guess

It might be because it is now a slab that it thinks it’s wood I don’t know it’s acting kind of funny oh yes somebody also mentioned that we had granite diorite and andesite in this pack and that’s from chisel – it’s not actually we’re not playing 1.8 chisel –

I guess copied the vanilla blocks from one point eight so they’re in one point seven now but yeah that’s what those are about those that’s what those are from but this stuff away over here oh man inventory management I can’t wait until we get to the point later on where we

Have applied energistics setup and we don’t have to worry about any of this stuff anymore you know what I don’t even care I’m just dumping things in this chest I was saving this for sorting into something else leader don’t think we’re gonna do that so I did also make a pickaxe here I

Was using my 3×3 stone hammer on everything and then there’s some points where I had to like gets a precision block breaking going on I see that skeleton don’t shoot me lagging a little bit yeah I need to get some precision one block removal and the hammer just

Doesn’t work too well for that that’s TF C’s B’s where is Lots right here so yeah I decided to make myself the pickaxe just a stone pickaxe I put a diamond on it and a few pieces of redstone so it’s a little bit quicker don’t leave this

Open last time I might have I don’t know if somebody else has been down here I kind of hope nobody’s been to that zombie spawner I have marked oh I thought I heard something walking around can hope nobody’s been over to the zombie spawn I have marked off over here

Oh you know what I think it’s up above I can see on the mini-map kind of how its lead out there me and I don’t have stuff on me alright guys so he found the zombie spawner it took me forever to try and find now he got here before I don’t

Even know the correct way but yeah I heard zombies around here and I started digging down and I made a little stair down here and we got into the zombie spawner area and yeah we have a steadfast drill so that’s good that’ll help us out on the B stuff later I saw

There’s mega rubber saplings I’m not exactly sure what these are for a Black Lotus that’s from Patania so that’s probably pretty good a free tin is awesome string copper and manna steel alright so over in this chest we got ourselves some ender pearls that’ll help us hell later some ingots some tin ingots

Iron dark boots an Ville upgrades empowered flippers apiarist shoes I might be actually pretty good I’m not sure if these are awesome or not and a conduit probe I’m not sure what this is it’s from ender io but I think we’re gonna take it with us whoops okay that

Broke my torch over here that’s kind of weird they gonna break my torch again it is that’s so weird okay so yeah we have a zombie spawner here I’m not sure what we’re gonna do with it if anything I know we can break these and we can collect the broken

Spawners um I know we could make the mossy cobblestone so there’s no reason to take any of that stuff I was just kind of wanting to get all of this stuff Black Lotus I assume that’s something you can only find dungeon loot I don’t know if you can plant that or not make

It rubber saplings I’m kind of interested in seeing what those are about although I’m not sure if I want to plant those near the spawn town or not hmm all right let’s get back to your base all right guys so the next thing I

Want to do is I want to use those ender pearls that we got for an actual purpose so one of the big things that I’ve really wanted to make since we started here was an ender pouch this little guy that you can carry with you and if you

Lose or I’m sorry if you die and lose it your stuff stays in that ender pouch like you can make a new ender pouch and then your stuff is there and that’s awesome so we’ve looked at these before I think in ultimate and Unleashed and monster it’s something I definitely want

Again so we need blaze powder some leather or ender pearl and some wool we also need to make ourselves on ender chest this is not the vanilla one this is from under storage so we’re gonna need some obsidian wool blaze rods and our other pearl so yeah I think we got

Everything we need for that except for the ender stuff probably have to go and mine a little bit of obsidian so I will do that off-camera but I was speaking a DMACC a little bit ago and he had mentioned that he set up a blaze farm look he’s even got little things around

Here new please farm a turn laughs to go over he’ll enjoy DMACC he said it was perfectly fine with me showing this I don’t know when he’s releasing this video I assume around the same time mine goes alive new blades farming ahead it’s got like little signs

Every five blocks it’s like almost there new blades farm straight ahead D Mac and then over here yeah that’s what this cobblestone thing is they didn’t want you guys at the beginning the video I didn’t want to spoil it but d-mac said it is perfectly fine for me to show this

So d-max police farm you made it correct it looks like this has been used a little bit so we got an off switch up here looks like probably the stop police from coming down looks like these guys are coming down and landing on these wooden spikes I remember these wooden

Spikes being in I think mod sauce I never really got a chance to mess around with them I know there’s way different types of spikes now there’s the golden ones and with ones and the iron was do something different I believe these good ones only bring the

Enemies the mobs down to half a heart it looks like looks like they’re just kind of sitting there not taking any more damage yeah I think that’s what it is it takes them down to half a heart so that’s kind of close you can walk up to them they’re

Already pre damaged you can walk up to it with like a looting sword and get all the stuff that you need ah looks like we got two blaze rods in three blaze powder so this is gonna take a little bit of time let me go ahead and make a cut here

I’m gonna form all the stuff that we need I think it’s four rods and four powder yeah let me go ahead and do that will make our ender pouch and I will be right back alright guys so I went in I farmed up all the blaze rods that we

Needed so I made the other chests and the under pouch so you can I mean if you use these by default just like this they are set to a public channel anybody that’s got the the white the triple white basically if they make the default ender chest they’ll see everything

That’s in here so we don’t want that we want change the colors or we can actually put a diamond on the latch right here and that makes it our own private network so this now says hypnotized right there on top of those buttons it’s hard to see

But it’s my own Network so if somebody puts down a chip and it’s got the three white on there they won’t see my stuff if I put anything in here because this is a separate three white it’s actually assigned to my name so they can put

Stuff in there and nobody will be able to see it but this ender pouch by default is also set to the triple white public network so you can see there’s nothing in the sender pouch now if I were to right-click a shift right-click on the chest yeah you can see it got a

Little diamond latch right here if I open that up it opens a chest now I get all my stuff so I could take it out from the under pouch yeah that is really awesome so now what I like doing since these enter pouches aren’t super big I like putting golden bags of

Holding in there to expand their inventory because these guys can hold this much stuff so if you have your inner pouch full of these guys yeah you can carry a lot of stuff with you and if you die it’s not all lost which is great

All right guys so I tell you what last episode we were all right said I was recording with the new software I was using action I’m still using it this time I know the last video it had some video errors in like the transitions so I am using Adobe Premiere to render this

Video out today so I’m learning something else that’s brand new hopefully I get everything right hopefully the video looks good to you guys let me know if there’s any problems in the comments again hopefully there won’t be but yeah like I said I’m learning all these new software’s trying
