Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode on the hermit crab feed the beast server so I’m over here just kind of hanging out over my area I’m thinking about what I wanted to do last episode we were messing with the automatic potion brewing and I think we

Should move that put into a proper spot and you guys gave me some pretty good ideas on where I should put it um yeah you gotta see DMX name tag way over there he’s underneath the Red Rock area I think in that quarry where he’s been sitting up his whole machine far more

Processing room or whatever that is it’s kind of funny that we can kind of see each other’s name tag from that far away but yeah you guys were suggesting that well there’s a couple of suggestions and I haven’t really moved this stuff around at all we’re gonna do that but I had

Some suggestions that we keep the potion brewing in this room and maybe you know stick it back behind here which is a possibility I mean that was pretty good I’m just gonna get rid of this thing pink let’s see i was almost considering sticking it up here or maybe having some

Here and some on this side but i don’t think we’re gonna do that what I think is we are gonna start working on that room that I dug out a little while ago that we haven’t done anything with back over here I you know dugout this room

And kind of done some stuff here but not really too much I’m thinking if we put the potion brewing stuff right in here we can inset it a little bit I want to finish up these walls to these are all stone brick whereas all the rest of the

Walls in this place is the balsa wood and planks and things so I want to change the walls to that ceiling I’m still not sure about I mean over here we have a dirt ceiling which I haven’t really done anything with and then over here we have a stone ceiling so maybe I

Will stick with the stone hmm and then in this room back here as far as the ceiling goes we did stone bricks and you know strip of stone but it could use a little bit more detail in here I agree so let’s get started let’s start working on this room

This hallway over here I want to get things laid out and fleshed out so the first thing we need to do let’s tear down these stone bricks we might be able to see a pathway behind here yep we’re all those tanks are okay let’s get this

Done tear all this stuff out where we replace this with the balsa wood I’m not sure what kind of a pattern we’re going to do I know I like kind of breaking the balls up every once in a while with either the balsa logs along the bottom

Or the top or like in the stairwell over here we put some balsa logs vertically which kind of breaks it up although I think it might be better if these are inside one Blanc or if the walls are inset one just give it a more depth but

I think for now we’re okay there okay so that stone bricks been removed this needs to go to yeah we’re just going to replace all this with balls I think and then somehow we need to fall down a hole now somehow we need a transition from

The balsa over here into this room this room is what I plan on putting Thaumcraft stuff in so I’ve seen some people build thaum craft rooms before and one of the popular things is to use as I cord sigh quarians I cordite blocks the ones from zeid craft they kind of

Look mystical and they have like the little color animations and things so I think we’re going to use a lot of that block those style of blocks I know there’s a bunch of different types of them in here yeah I think that’s what we’re going to do okay but as far as

Transitioning from balsa into that type of block we will have to figure that out right so i need to put one more stone brick there i’m phil on the floor okay well let me grab some balsa wood i’ll go and finish up probably the rest of these

Walls and things let’s fill this all in get the blocks laid out how we want them to and then we can decide and how we can finish up the rest of the room get that transition going and what’s gonna look good so I’ll see you guys in a little

Bit ok guys so I went ahead and I finish up the hallway here put all this stuff in and I think it’s looking pretty good looks like the rest of the base pretty much got the stone brick floor you got the boss of planks and the logs for the

Corner pieces yep we are looking pretty good ok so also off camera i went ahead i made some patterns here for these different bricks for all the difference I corium bricks that we can make there’s these other ones here will actually let’s look at these does I corium blocks

These are just you know nine others I corium and you can make the blocks or if you have the smelters aquarium you can make those we’re going to do it with the Rob pieces it because I’ve gotten quite a lot of these from quarrying and stuff

So we also have these bricks which is four of the colored smelted xicor died in five stone bricks pretty simple recipe so I went ahead and made all the recipes for the blocks and all the recipes for these bricks now the these other blancs colors I cordite plates

These require obsidian and I don’t have that much so I kind of skipped these and there’s also oh there’s a platform I must have missed these those require Luminum an iron let’s see I didn’t see these platform blocks that’s cool and there’s also the psych ward I’d shield

Which is the psych ward a plate which requires the obsidian and a lot of iron so I kind of skipped those two so the blocks that we are going to make ooze aquarium ice soil and water yeah I forgot about these blocks I don’t really think I’d want to build with those but

The blocks we will be building with are these I Cora die bricks and possibly does I corium blocks themselves so I really don’t think I’ve seen these in person yet let seems I core or whatever we’ll do it like this so I think if I just click these and I say make some

Bricks that should just go and smelt those up craft them together and we can check these blocks out the just actually go ahead and crafts up every single one of these things and make sure we have one of each so we can tell the difference do we like and

Dislike or whatnot so you had craft one of those and the light ones do you want those the red ones I think are going to be really nice looking I’m almost thinking the red and the black together might look pretty good but we’ll have to

Check that out okay so i should have at least one of each type of these made let’s go ahead and get those in our inventory and check them out and that in that right okay so in this room back here we would have well I should

Probably just go ahead and lay these out so we can see what they look like together with that red and blue looks really nice together there’s the black let’s figure the torch there’s some of the green ones and what’s really cool about these blocks is maje can’t spawn

On them at all so that’s pretty awesome so stick that they’re kind of see how these blocks look together light bread those are pretty cool-looking I don’t think they give off any lights we will have to figure out light sources i might have to make some of these I cordite

Lights I already have a bunch of the black ones made so we won’t have to worry about black but as far as the other colors I do like to read and I like I like the red black and the blue those are pretty nice the Greens okay I

Mean those are probably good for like highlights or accents not so sure about the light stuff this stuff right here I think would work well for a thumb craft room so probably gonna make a bunch of this stuff and we’ll get started on that also I don’t really know I really don’t

Know that much about thaumcraft I did all the research and I made some wands and stuff so I don’t know all the different parts and pieces to get we made that cauldron and I know that you can get like bottles or whatever to grab some of the extra essence and things

That you don’t really need are you not using I’m gonna have to figure out heavily all that stuff out I would like you know a really great Thaumcraft room so yeah definitely have to figure all of that stuff out but first I think what I should do is just

Go ahead and make a bunch of these bricks and start laying about start laying out a floor here and then we can go from there so let me do that and we’ll be right back alright guys so I spent some time trying to lay out those

I corium blocks the way I want them and once I got about halfway Donna den really like it that much I mean it looks kind of cool from here but once we get into the room these walls i’m really not liking and i think it’s probably just

Because it’s too much black or maybe it’s just these lights just don’t look right I think maybe if we had the same border these blue bricks along the bottom that would look pretty awesome what is gonna do is have lights along the bottom and the top so light the

Ceiling and the floor but after building this much of it yeah I don’t think we’re gonna do that I think I might do is I like the floor pattern the black red black with the blue separations I think we’ll leave the floor pattern and I think for the ceiling I’m gonna leave

The blue brick here but fill in everything else with lights that way we’ll have lights on the ceiling and then we can do something else the walls here get rid of these black lights I just don’t think that’s gonna work there’s a whole bunch of different types

Of lights we could do different colors and things but I just don’t know I don’t want to you know spend a whole bunch of resources making a light just to find out don’t really like that color or whatever so I think I’m gonna redo this room put the lights on the ceiling try

And figure out something better for these walls and yet we’ll be right back ok guys so I’ve been having a little bit of problem here trying to figure out how i want to lay out these blocks I’ve rearranged things slightly again and when I put a ceiling on this place it

Feels to enclosed too claustrophobic in there’s just too much of these flashy blocks on the ceiling like I don’t kind of direct your vision and no particular order and I don’t know it’s hard to focus on anything so think for now we’re gonna leave the ceiling a stone having a light ceiling

Probably is pretty good be I put all the the inverted lamps over here for now I don’t know if we’re gonna keep it like that or I might fill up the entire ceiling with inverted lamps or something if you guys have some good ideas I would

Actually like to hear them but what the plan is I’m gonna put some thaumcraft stuff in here I brought brought out the old all mahna mahna mahna makan so I can figure out how to build some of these things and then I think at the end of

This path down here I’m gonna have a circular opening so this isn’t actually gonna be here this is gonna be gone something like that ok just like that this is gonna be all dug out there’s gonna be a big old circular enclosure here and pretty sure haven’t figured out

Exactly what we’re gonna do but I do know that this is gonna be circular actually I guess fear coal I haven’t really decided the finer details of this thing but what I do know is that you can move the nodes like those pure nodes that I built our that I created with all

The silver wood trees we have two thousand v nodes outside and I know that you can combine them if combined them if they get close enough and I also know that you can drag them you can move them so i think what i’m going to end up

Doing is the one that i have if we look at the map over this direction at the far end you can kind of see it’s kind of covered up with those numbers right now the very far end what I’m going to pull over here and I’m going to combine it

With the one that’s right above me right now on this map and then I think once we get those combined I’m going to bring that node down underground right here so we’ll have our big peer node right here in the same room with all of our thumb

Craft stuff I think that’ll be pretty cool but yeah I’m gonna have to figure out how to lay out everything I was looking at this like the our King who is this Oh infernal furnace I think I want to build one of these just to have one although i really don’t need it

I would like to you know i have all of the different Thaumcraft stuff build so this is obsidian nether brick lava in an iron bar I think I can build one of those let’s see if we can do it real quick so another brick um obsidian I’m

Running low on time see I need to go get some more let’s see do we have any iron bars I do and lava I might not have lava let’s see oh I do have a love a bucket awesome okay so let’s look at the thumb anomic on once again I’ve really never

Built anything in tomcraft so I need to double-check all this stuff let’s see we want this like that at one more time one more time was this the plus sign yes is a plus sign of obsidian okay so if we did a plus sign of obsidian so that’s a

Three by three we’re probably going to want it I could move this yeah that’s going to be centered and we’ll do that nice than this okay so let’s look at what was later too so this is basically the same thing looks like an air space on Tobias same pattern but we have an

Iron bar in the front here so let’s do an iron bar and we have these bricks obsidian and lava in the center okay and then I think we just build the same thing up once more I don’t remember what was that front brick or block that might

Be obsidian I think it might just be like that okay let’s take a look one more time and yeah I think that is it okay so it says 100v so i’m pretty sure i gotta touch that thing with my wand that sounds bad yeah so let’s get a wand

You have two of these really powerful high-end one so if I just oh there we go who now it looks evil hmm so let’s get a little deal right here it’s got a deal ething right there and a thing right there i don’t know if that’s

Where you pump items in or what oh no no that’s what i remember that is there’s this thing called the arcane bellows stoking the flames so maybe i should make three of those it looks like you can support three of them our King would block click for research arcane work

Table okay so just an arcane work table and I can just put some logs and things on there with a wand yep that’s not too bad okay well I’m gonna have to build that stuff I have to rebuild pretty much everything I took all my thumb craft stuff down but yeah that’s pretty

Awesome we have this thing now and I’ve seen people automate these by putting like a hungry chess right in front because I’m pretty sure when you put something in there it’s melted and then it spits out whatever it was that it’s melted let’s just do like one of these

Let’s see how this works so if I w in there maybe you do need the bellows for the same to work oh there goes nope it’s fitted out okay so that’s pretty awesome I think the bellows just makes it go faster okay well yeah that’s definitely

Something I have to do it looks like these can support three of those and I don’t know if there’s anything on the bottom of this thing I would imagine not but yeah okay well let me get a few more of these Thaumcraft things built put into this room will figure out how this

Room feels with more stuff in it and we’ll be right back alright guys so I got some things hooked up here I put in the cold rain whoops ran right over here put the colder in here got some lava underneath it so we are bubbling water throw things in there and get that

Essence going or whatever and then we can use it on this guy right here to make different items so I’ve made a bunch of arcane blocks it seemed like that was going to be something that was needed and I ended up making this hungry chest if you don’t

Know these hungry chests are pretty cool anything that you know goes right next to him it basically sucks it in so that’s pretty awesome I made three are keen bellows so this was this thing called and our King I can’t remember goodness these things have weird names what’s this thing called sculling

Infernal furnace so yeah the infernal furnace now has three arcane billows and a hungry chest in front of it so anything that it smelt sup will go directly into that chest let’s grab some cobblestone just so you guys can see this yeah well do you have a stack

That’s fine let’s get up here now getting a way to easily access the top this thing will be another problem I’ll to figure out a little bit later there we go there’s a half a static cobblestone and get me to smell tuna pretty quickly I get smelted faster an

Electric furnace that’s for sure but this doesn’t require any power or anything like that so it’s still pretty cool it’s got some great animations and with the hungry chest there it definitely helps out keeping everything from falling on the ground so yeah that’s pretty awesome now as far as the

Cauldron goes I know there’s ways that you can capture the extra essence and stuff I think I was talking about that earlier so I’m probably going to end up moving this thing because I think i’m gonna need room around it for bottles and other such things like that and then

I know there’s a way that you can put bottles around I think that’s called infusion altar I know this way you can put bottles around here so you don’t have to melt things in the cauldron all the time it can already use or i can use stuff that you’ve already used you’ve

Already you know boiled in the past the extra essence or esencia or whatever that’s called so yeah I’m gonna have to figure out that stuff and the best way to set up these guys but I think for now I think it’s a pretty good start on a

Thumb craft room like I said I haven’t really done much with Thaumcraft in the past I’ve only done research and I really don’t know a whole lot about thaumcraft itself so yeah I will figure this out probably off camera will might work on this a little bit next episode like I said I

Want to get those nodes down here and i also want to merge them so that’s probably something we will work on as well okay so the next thing that I want to do is like I was talking about the very beginning of this video was to put the the potion the automatic potion

Brewing stuff up here now last episode we worked on the potion brewing stuff and I got a kind of figured out I made some mistakes you guys kind of corrected me in the comments of what I was doing wrong and i got some great comments saying that what i should do is always

Fill up this with the water bottle so it’s always full and always has some of the so what’s it called the awkward potions and then i should use the AME interfaces on top just to put the ingredients in so basically we will have one of these brewing stands that’s

Always fold the awkward potions and then we’ll have the interface on top and if we choose a healing potion or we choose a regeneration potion it will at that point throw in like a ghast here or glistering melon or one of those things it’ll brew it all and then once it’s

Done brewing those will get pulled out and then that way we can use 11 Bruce stand for pretty much every type of item and then we can use one for like redstone i think i mean we could probably still use one brew stand for the redstone recipes too um I don’t know

We’ll have to figure that out well tell you guys what I am going to rip this stuff down move it upstairs dig out a little spot for it will go over how would I find out then so I’ll see you guys in a bit ok guys so I got the

Potion system moved upstairs and I think this is a much better way of working with it so what’s going on here this very first brew stand right here we have an export bus on it and it’s set to move single item / craft and it’s always going to be

Filling it up with water bottles so this brew stand will always have water bottles in it and up above we have an interface that says craft three awkward potions with one another ward so when we want to craft a potion it’s going to be like hey do I have awkward potions no

Let’s go ahead and craft some put another word in here and then I’ll prove three more awkward potions behind the Bruce and I have an import boss that’s only going to import awkward potions so the water bottle stay here but when the brewing is finished it’ll pull those

Water bottles out where I guess I’ll be awkward potions and that’ll go into our system so we’re second Bruce stand here is set to move single item such craft and it’s going to craft awkward potions so if I take a water bottle out of here

It’s going to try and put one in and it’s going to be like hey there’s no more awkward potions in the system put another word over here brew up three more and then put one into this brew stand so you’re probably not going to ever want to take a bottle out otherwise

You’re going to have you know different amounts of the awkward potions in the system and things might just get a little weird so I’m going to leave this kind of like hands-off don’t ever touch these things so we’ll always have three water bottles ready for more awkward

Potions and we always have three awkward potions raby turn into it into some kind of potion so on this one same setup we had before except I have one magma cream will cram three potions of fire resistance so that way if I quest you know potion of fire resist it’ll just go

And throw a magma cream in here we’ll get three of them and we’ll be all set pretty cool so this third one I was trying to figure out if there’s a way I could do it similar to here but since we’re always going to be putting redstone on this bruise scan it seems

Kind of pointless to do that so it’s kind of inverted here on the bottom we have this one that says crafts three fire resistance with three of them so that’s basically saying if you give me three of the non extended ones I’ll give you back through the extended ones and since this

Bruised and always has red stone in it that should just work so I think if this is set up right you can just go ahead and fill this all back in and make everything look nice again I think if this is set right actually I’m probably

Gonna want to break out some of those blocks and put balsa back here just to make things look a little bit better but I’m pretty sure that if i say craft me three potions of fire resist the extended length everything should just work these potions will turn into the

Fire resistive get pulled back into the system they’ll appear over here they’ll get lengthened and I don’t have a length in one that I put this in part by so I’ll stay here until I fix that these potions will bruin too awkward and refill this one so I think everything

Should be okay let’s see if I can kind of do this off the screen so we can see a little bit so if I say fire resistant I want the eight min long ones go ahead and craft those so this one we’re here should yep it does have the magma cream

So that’s going to brew and as soon as that gets done so i’ll pull back into the system and they should appear over here these should brew into an awkward potion and come over here and then refilled with the water bottles hopefully this is going to work i think

It should oh no no okay yep one second i need to do yeah that’s that’s a problem because this thing is always importing everything let me put those bottles back fire resist the extended length ones let’s stick those guys back in here so those will brew up to the eighth minute

Long ones that I can actually put on the import bus back here to only import the eight men along versions of those and I think we should be ok but this burstein is now refilled with water this Brustein is now refilled with awkward potions and this one is done it’s got the eighth

Minute long potion so we can stick that back then here do that and those all get pulled back into the system so I should now have all three of those eight minute long potions yep so we already saw that they were brutes that’s nothing special so let’s try that one more time actually

Let’s do fire resist I want to make sure this is actually going to work all the way through and then we can add patterns to create other types of potions so I’m going to say create one of those so this is going to do its thing once again just

Take a few more seconds here once this is done brewing they should all fill up over here then once that’s done brewing I’m pretty sure they should just go right back into the system and then this thing will be fully set up for the automatic ocean brewing there they are

Right here all three of them now this this one right here to get the awkward potions hopefully that’s going to work yep and everything moved over the evening long ones go back in the system awkward potions appear here and the the water bottles are all populated over

Here very very cool yeah I’m just going to have to make some more patterns here for the different potions I want to create invisibility potion speed potions things like that would be pretty awesome to have on demand and to be automatically crafted if I can figure

Out a way if I could put the facades on these import buses that would be pretty awesome so I wouldn’t have to see anything back there it would just look like these blocks but it should still work I’ll have to figure if you can do

That or not I don’t know if they can go on the import buses like on the side facing the brewing stand I pretty sure I try putting the facades on interfaces on this version of Applied Energy sticks it does not work might be able to put it on

This export bus but that’s something that I’ll have to figure out some other time alright guys well we got a lot of stuff done today move the potions over here and got this hooked up in a better way and we got our thumb craft room started and I’m going to have to figure

Out how all this Thaumcraft stuff works so i can get the whatever the essentia bottles or whatever those are called going so I’m not wasting a bunch of that stuff in the atmosphere but yeah that’s going to do it for today thank you guys for watching and we’ll see you next time 6
