Minecraft – NETHER X! Nether Dimension Epicness! (New Mobs, New Biomes & More) | Mod Showcase

Oh my god it is now possible to ride on lava hello guys jamie here and welcome back to another mod showcase today we are looking at the never x mod a really cool mod by green shoes that adds in cool stuff to the nether it basically adds in

The overworld to the nether so there’s a ton a ton of cool stuff so let’s get started now the first thing you may notice are these different ores now this is the iterator echo right or really cool and when you mine this you’ll get shards now the shards can be actually used

To obtain water in the nether but i’ll talk about that very soon you can also use these shards as fertilizer for the different crops in the nether but i’ll also move on to that very soon as well we’ve also got here the venomite ore now this is a really cool

Ore and from this you’ll get the venomous ingot which looks really cool leave that in there but i’m going to take the bucket which i will explain why very soon so you can create a venomite bucket which is created with the venomite ingots like you would a normal

Bucket you get venomite block which you can create with venom ingots and you’ve got all these cool tools and armor now the armor actually gives you immunity from poison as this aura is actually based around poison so the venomite sword will actually deal poison damage to anything you hit

With it which is really cool and this is sort of like the iron i guess to the never so it’s really cool let’s actually take this we might actually use this very soon and what i also need to do is put some armor on so let’s do that

Quickly because i forgot to do that let’s put some of that on there we go nice now the last door we’ve got here is the necromite ore now this all is really cool and i put this here just to remind me that this all is based on withering so in here we’ve

Got some really cool tools we’ve got a block here as well which created with the necromite gemstones and these gemstones actually look pretty cool i’m pretty surprised at how cool they look um but yeah these are all the different armor and tools that you can create now because this is based around withering

The necromite sword will actually deal withering effects on anything you hit i’m not too sure myself what with the ring is but you’re probably going to hate me now for saying that but yeah i’m not really too sure what that is um what with the ring is

But yeah you can you can use that um but it’s great for when you’re um tackling the wither boss and yeah it’s really cool and the arm actually gives you immunity from a withering as well which is really nice okay so i’m to move back now to the

First ball that we looked at which was the icharite ore now what you can actually do with this is obtain water and i’m going to show you how to do this now okay so what we’re going to need to do is create ourself a crystallized cauldron or crystal cauldron

To create this we are going to use nether quartz it looks really cool and this gives some cool use to nether quartz okay so after you’ve got your poison in your bucket what you’re going to do is right click on the crystal cauldron and there you go it’s full with the awesome poison

In there then what we’re going to do is get our echo right shard from the icaru and we’re going to right click on this bad boy and then you’ll see it turns into water that’s a really cool feature and a really cool way to actually survive in the nether

Without having to go back to the overworld so you can basically start a new like survival in the nether i guess i don’t know how that’s gonna work for you you can give it a go but yeah that is really nice and that is a really cool

Really cool feature i love the poison it looks so cool now the last one we have here is the magma now the magma is really cool when you break this it will turn into lob the same as ice would turn into water it will turn into lava and it’s got a

Really cool effect and actually emits a little bit of light what i’ve got in here is the different armor that you can create now to create this we’re going to need magma crystals now to get magma crystals from this what we’re going to need to do is blow

It up that is where the nether bomb comes into play so in here i’ve got another bomb i’m going to grab that and the flint of steel and those created with soul sand and some gunpowder in this recipe format like that okay so i’m going to go over here and i’ve set up

The magma here so we’re going to put the bomb down we’re going to light this there we go you’re gonna light there we go oh my god okay so it does quite a bit of damage the bomb so yeah there we go we’ve got loads of magma crystals now and we can

Use these to create the armor okay so the next thing i’m gonna show you is the never thorn this is really quite nice uh feature added in to the never now if you go on this it will give you damage um just like it would if you’re going on a cactus

And the same sort of thing but it will actually give you damage now we can actually create some really cool traps with this so what i’ve got here is something set up in here and there we go there you go the zombie pigman is dying because he came into our trap

Oh my god okay so what we have here is the never walk now what’s really cool about the neville watch you can actually farm this now with the fertilizer from the ickerite shards so if i right-click on this there you go is it gonna work no there we go yeah

There we go look so it’s all growing nice okay and we can also use it on the glut rock or glute rock so i don’t know really how to pronounce that but if we use it on here you see it’s growing and yeah that is amazing as well now in the

Nether you are going to need a source of wood so that is where the dead vol wood tree comes into play so this guy looks really cool and you can find these throughout the netherworld and when you get this um you can craft it into vol wood planks

By wood stairs slabs and you can also create sticks and wooden doors of it and bowls which you can create your mushroom stew because there are so many mushrooms throughout the never you will be able to create so much goodiness now the last block i’ve got to show you

Today is the salt glass this looks pretty amazing you can also create salt glass panes but the soulglass paintings they look really weird oh my god look at that oh it just looks weird so if you go here you can see everything with this one you

Can only see up to like there i don’t know if that’s a bug or it’s meant to be like that but yeah um you can also put a redstone torch on this and it will allow you to oh my god okay so brimspell’s coming towards us no

Go away die die don’t come near me oh okay so hopefully that doesn’t set everything on fire but we do not like this guy um but i’ll explain him very soon um but yeah these are the two different types of glass panes that you can get with the soul glass

Um but if you put a redstone torch on top of it what will happen is it will allow you to walk through it which i think is a really cool addition to this mod now to get these sole glass what we’re going to need to do is smelt

Up some soul sand in a furnace and oh my god go away why are you doing this go away stop stop following me it’s literally following me why are you doing this now as well as using a normal furnace we can craft a nether furnace now this is created with netherrack in

A square in the crafting bench like so and you get yourself another furnace now i’ve got some soul sand in here and i’m just going to show you an example of how this works so if we right click on this you’ll see there is only one input on the left

Now this is because you do not need coal yes you heard me right you do not need coal for this it will smelt up your soul sand but one thing to note is that this has a chance to turn back into nether racks so there is a possibility that all your

Items will just spew out the um another furnace and you will just end up with a block of netherrack but it’s still really cool and it doesn’t require coal which is really cool so there you go there’s your soul glass and it looks pretty amazing now

What we have here is a way of turning your items into cursed items now for this what we’re going to need is necromite to necromite ingots we’re going to need obsidian and the cursed book which is crafted a little bit like this so we’re going to need cursed paper which we can get

From a mob which i’m going to show you very soon and a bit of leather and there you get your cursed book now what i’ve got here is a venomite sword we’ve actually got one on there so let’s just grab that there we go and let’s right click on this exit creation table

I don’t know really if that’s correct um but let’s put this in here we’ve got to put our curse book at the bottom let’s put our venomite sword up here and you can see it starts venomizing it while cursing it into a cursed sword with some special effects or special attack damage potion

Things so yeah it’s got it’s cursed now so it gives off special effects to things that you hit i don’t really know what effects it will give off but i do know it’s cursed and it is pretty damn amazing so before we move on to the different mobs i’m going to show

You this this is the cursed soul sand it is very very dangerous if you get stuck in this you will not be able to get out it’s sort of like quicksand but if i go in this oh no oh no i can’t press space

Oh my god i’m dying so let’s move on to the different mobs the first one we’ve got for you here is the glutton i don’t know if that’s correct but let’s spawn this bad boy in and oh my god he looks like a clam but he’s not this guy is actually

Very very hungry so we’ll pretty much eat anything including us and all of our items out of our inventory so if you get in contact with this and he kills you you will lose pretty much everything except from your golden stuff like your golden apples and

Golden sword i don’t know but yeah he doesn’t like to eat gold so yeah that’s the that’s the glut and he looks pretty cool and it’s cool animation on this guy as well now this is the blazing charger and he will run at you and throw you up into the air

And when you fall down you will get full damage so basically this guy you need to watch out for him because he is very dangerous he looks really cool uh that’s one thing to note he does look pretty damn amazing a bit like a bit like a bull but yeah

He’s not a ball because he’ll fling you up in the air um i would show show off what he does but i don’t really want to die for the simple reason i need to carry on with the mod spotlight but yeah so that’s the blazing charger and he looks pretty amazing

Okay oh my god don’t run at me please okay so what we have here are the pigmen now these are called they’re basically just called pigmen and to get these what we’re going to need to do is throw a potion of weakness at a zombie pigman

And you get these guys now i don’t really know what they do um but all the details can be found on the forum and they’ve also got a wiki as well so you can look out for these guys i don’t know what they do i think they have more damage

But these guys don’t actually currently spawn so you have to actually spawn them in yourself now earlier we did have fire come at us and we were like oh my god there’s fire following us no that is a mob okay right this guy is the brim spell gonna need a

Diamond sword for this guy to get rid of him but let’s go over to here let’s place him down and bam he is fire oh oh my god that you can see him oh my god okay so let’s kill him and oh my god where is he there he is there he is

Okay so we are killing him and when we kill him we will get we will get we will get some of these some cursed paper now the curse paper we could use it to create the cursed book which we were looking at earlier so that is a really cool

Really cool way to integrate paper i guess into the game okay so let’s move on now to the two types of spiders the first one we’ve got for you here is the never spider now you can probably already guess what this guy does but he just

He’s just a spider in the nether he is a lot bigger than the normal spiders um and he will poison you and here’s a way to obtain bows in the nether okay so this one is the other spider now this is the inferno spider you can probably already guess

What this guy does um but oh my god look how cute he is look how small he is first off he looks he looks pretty amazing oh my god that guy is so cool uh but yeah he will set you on fire so if you if you try to attack him

He will run at you he will try and set you on fire but he can’t attack oh my god he can’t set me on fire because i’m in creative but oh my god look at this guy he looks so cool now before we go and attack probably the biggest

The most deadliest mob in this mod we are going to draw our eyes towards this obsidian and yes obsidian now spawns in the never i know i know how you’re feeling right now you’re like oh my god is this real life yes yes it is real life oh my god okay so

The obsidian now spawns in the nether now this has a very good use and you can probably already guess what i’m about to show you but this is my personal favorite part of this mod now in here yes we have an obsidian bow to craft this we use obsidian just

As we would with the normal recipe and you can probably already guess what this will do oh my god are you ready are you ready oh my god we are we’re we’re going across fire we’re going across lava right now is this is this real life oh my god look at

That look at that look at that effect oh my god okay so let’s go back to the um the beginning oh there it is over there come on let’s go hello you stay away from me ghost okay come on no wrong way over here come on there we go

Let’s get out of this and yeah so that is an obsidian bow that is really cool and my personal favorite item in this mod okay so let’s move on to the last thing now something i did forget to mention was that you can actually create obsidian doors as well

Now i don’t know what their use is but it’s really cool that you can actually create obsidian doors now and obsidian pressure plates which is nice which is really really quite really quite cool so the last thing that i’ve got to show you today is the

Ghast queen yes you heard me right the ghast queen now to create the shrine needed to summon the ghast queen we are going to need obsidian we’re going to need another brick um you can also use the nether brick ingots or the nether ingots um i don’t know how ready to craft them

And you get also a gas tip you’re going to need um there you go there you get your ghast shrine that looks a little bit like this now if we right click on this you’ll see it is now summoning the ghast now before that summons

I’m going to grab this now this is the infernal staff and it’s created like so with a bit blaze rod and a egg that you get from the ghast the queen ghost which oh my god there she is there she is in all of her glory

Let’s go and kill her let’s use the let’s use the staff and as you can see oh my god is it going to work oh my god it’s not working oh my god oh it is working okay so the the photo staff is pretty amazing oh my god

Look at this look at it look at it it’s so cool um this can also be cursed as well and oh my god this guy screen she’s pretty queenie oh my god uh but yeah this will fire um blaze power things were they called blaze charges

Um and there we go so she’s dead and what does she drop she dropped ourselves some gun powder and also um the egg and the ghost here so yeah that is that is the gas queen and she is pretty damn beast you do not want to

Mess with her um when she blows up she does blow up a big area so watch out for where you place this but yeah guys that is pretty much it there’s probably a ton of stuff that i haven’t actually covered or something i’ve forgotten to mention but that is pretty much the basis

Of this mod there is so much cool stuff this story that this was a little bit long but i wanted to fit as much in as i could to show off all of the stuff in this mod now one thing i did forget to mention is that you actually have
