Boss battle this is a boss that are created by mcmackstein creator of transformers in villa minecraft the pegasus infinite minecraft sushi go around and tons of other amazing redstone creations today we are battling the ultimate boss let me show you what it looks like just right off the bat here

We’re fighting this guy today the hydra look at this let me first let you know once again this is minecraft 1.8 and it’s vanilla there is no mod here no mod at all mcmakeistein has used infinite amounts of armor stands to create arguably the coolest thing i have ever seen

In vanilla minecraft using no mods only redstone this is a three headed hydra boss that has tons of different special attacks will actually come at you stomp the ground shoot fireballs even try and bite you this is a boss battle that you can download and find that download in

To the boss fight but otherwise we’re going to go over each of the mechanics as well as what we should expect from this boss fight so fighting the hydro in order to kill the hydra you have to attack the marked body parts purple particles wherever the particles are

That is where you are supposed to fight this sucker it will change throughout the boss fight that’s the only way to damage it the hedge can only be attacked with the bow while the chest can only be attacked with a sword not fully pulling your bow

Back makes it easier for the system to register your arrows more heads means more health stronger attacks and a higher accuracy of the attacks one thing i do want to know is do not use a flame bow while fighting the hydra because it does use armor stands to kind

Of create this mob and if you use a flame bow there is a chance you can actually break the armor stance so don’t use the flame bow here is the recommended armor honestly too strong we’re going we’re going with something a little more standard i already have a chest set up with

Everything we’re going to use now over here is the shrine that you need to create in your overworld in order to fight this sucker you need to build it exactly as is seen whoa the text just went crazy there so in order to summon the height you have to build the

Structure see right here place a skull on each of the four gold blocks it can be any of these skulls it doesn’t have to be the same one and when you are done you got to throw another star here which means you have to actually if you’re

Doing this in survival and not creative not only do you have to acquire this many diamond blocks and this much obsidian but you also need to get four skulls which you can only get from well i guess you can get wither skulls but the rest of these you can only get from

Charged creepers and on top of that you gotta fight the wither so at a minimum you’re gonna need seven total schools if you go with all wither skulls you need seven skulls because you gotta kill the wither to get this netherstar but once you’ve done that

Right in the middle here you will summon your hydra boss now over here are a few other things items that come in with the mod as well a hydra helmet that will actually give you special abilities a hydra sword that does the very same and of course a hydra bow

Just as well now these are all crazy things that you are going to be able to make you need a crafting machine in order to make it obviously stand on a hopper well i should say in order to create a crafting machine place the hopper facing upwards on the

Ground and you have to be standing on it while crafting good to know hey that’s some cool stuff in order to create a crafting machine you gotta do all that stuff so we’re gonna be covering the items after we kill the hydra and then of course you’ve got some

Just fun trivia here involving you know what went into this map so it’s all cool stuff nice and fancy and fun things but now what we’re gonna do is fight this sucker are you ready for battle mr hydra because i don’t think you have what it takes

To take me on man me and my great armor so let’s go ahead and get set up so out here is our already assembled shrine it’s just missing the netherstar which i actually forgot to give myself in this chest but this is everything that we are going to be fighting with

Just like this yes all this good stuff just unbreaking it’s all unbreaking it’s nothing with protection there’s no power here there’s no sharpness here infinity bow just so i don’t have to deal with arrows but the rest of it’s pretty just standard armor no enchantments i just did the end breaking so that

It wouldn’t break you feel what i mean you get it you get it good so we are gonna try and take this guy out i’m gonna keep that for good measure and that’s just chest with even more stuff so let’s do game rule keep inventory true just so i mess

Around and then give a p nether star so now that you have all this ready it is time to fight this hydra i totally forgot the iron bars on the side now it begins check this out check this out he is being summoned in the heads flew

Chilling here wait what the heck look like he just fired something i wasn’t sure to be honest he’s kind of cute oh i think he ouch man be nice all right so you gotta attack where the purple particles are oh babe oh geez hey that actually kind of hurt me a little

Take him out oh he’s firing gold blocks at me oh wow hey that’s the fireball attack you just you saw it here first folks well i mean maybe you saw oh did he just he just dropped a carrot oh boy let’s go try for a strike

Oh i think i hit something i did i hit something right there look at that i think i nailed something real good okay let’s try again no oh um what is this is ultimate attack look we just went a thousand blocks in there i need to hit that water please

Attack the heads with a sword as well maybe that’s i think maybe that’s what i was messing up on anyways upon killing him he drops 20 hydro flesh that’s pretty good stuff and you already saw you can use the hydroflex or you can use it to make some

Epic armor so i’m going to set up a little crafting bench workstation table thing for us and we gonna make ourselves some hydra armor and weapons okay so i actually said the wrong thing before you’re not a hopper you stand on top of a dropper facing up you see

You see that’s what you got to do and then stand on top of it while you craft the following recipes to get yourself some sweet hydra armor first one is just hide your flesh surrounding a helmet and you’ll get yourself a hydra helmet now upon wearing you this hydra helmet check this out

You get strength three resistance three and five resistance three and look at your helmet look at this this is what you look like just walking around you have hydras that are coming out of the side of your head you’re a three-headed beast and yeah you know it looks pretty cool too so

That is the first thing you can do now the second thing i don’t know if it’s gonna work with the enchanted sword necessarily but we can give it a shot that’s either like this or it’s like i okay no that kind of looks like a it’s

This one so oh maybe not you know you might need a regular old diamond sword let’s let’s recheck on that recipe huh so you do in fact need a normal sword to make this work but that’s fine so let’s do it you place a normal sword here and you’ll get yourself

A hydra sword sharpness 10 looting 10 16.5 attack damage and comes with a special ability look what happens when you throw the sword it spawns in a fireball that you can smack whatever direction you want to go and you’ll get the sword back instantly so

You have to do it very quickly you got yeah you see you get fireballs infinite fireballs with this hydra sword it’s like you’ve got the hydra attack along with your hydra check this out you can’t tell me this doesn’t look sweet i i ain’t even mad but we’ll show it off on

Some enemies in a second i want to make the final weapon as well which is the hydra bow as you might expect the hydro bow is as follows surround it just like that and you’ll get hydro bow with power 10. now the cool thing about the hydra both

Power 10 is you also get an ability when you drop it to change the direction of your arrows look at this let’s get out of game mode just to be sure let’s try now huh oh yeah it’s because i was in game mode see i’m a fool

I’m glad i discovered that because that could have been a very bad thing i was just like what is this supposed to be doing right now didn’t do anything now look at this it see look at that look at this you can change the direction

Of the bow up to three times what we’re gonna shoot straight up and then boom boom boom look at that only three though do you see that that is so sweet oh my gosh fire again what’s it what’s that and now let’s see it oh

That is so cool and then you got this and yeah oh my gosh i love it i love it i never stopped loving it i never stopped loving it come on where’s my fireball give me my fireball there we go come on there see it’s a little finicky
