See in INF Dev and Alpha all that stuff just gone and if you’re an OG player like me you’re going to notice that and you’re not going to like it so chances are you’re not going to like it cuz to me Minecraft terrain has always been more about serialism rather than realism so

When I think of Minecraft terrain I think of crazy overhangs like big archways impossible geometry basically and not oh look it’s a realistic Mountain that I can that I can also see in like literally every single terrain generation Mall out there a no way of course I’m complaining

About that because it’s you have to smell Stone twice they made the stone slab twice more annoying to obtain and it looks a lot nicer than an actual freaking the new smooth stone slab which just looks a Tres it looks wrong on so many levels cuz stone is a natural block

I don’t expect to see a natural block is a slab do you expect to see a dirt slab you don’t why why do you need a stone slab it’s so dumb G fo joke is you’re playing it GPR fo joke is 1.9.4 cuz it’s a terrible update I don’t even know what this

More annoying to obtain that’s what I’m against so these guys look 10 million times better than just a stone block cut in half but you have to smelt Stone twice couldn’t you have just I don’t know made it so that you combine like two regular two smooth stone slabs like

Here in the crafting table to combine these to make like more of these or or like I don’t know make so so make the the stone slabs the smooth stone slabs like this free Stone and then free stone slabs make free smooth stone slabs something like that would have been so much better

Because it would have been a fair conversion and not having to waste two times the fuel for a block that looks nicer like that’s just so dumb pre beta 1.8 is cool if you’re used to the regular terrain pre beta 1.8 my only issue with that is that uh it’s 128

Historical purposes oh I barely play moded why moded is always been Superior even even back in Alpha in beta moded was Superior Rak in Alpha we had stuff like more creatures which was a great mod for the time in beta we had ether and even some

Grab some gravel from the uh Woodlands chunk uh yeah the woodlands the forest chunk the forest World type from inev you know that one yeah finding a a modern interesting seed is like finding a needle in a Hast stack it’s not worth it about the most interesting you can

Get in modern is shattered Savannah and even that feels like a poor imitation of what once was the nether has gravel I don’t want to go to the freaking nether just for gravel underground underground doesn’t have gravel in these chunks cuz gravel blobs did not exist in

Inev would to be 100 GB most month are actually fairly close to where you are at least for modern standards okay here’s some gravel get interesting mon terrain like you like actually need either Amplified or data pack exactly yeah look at Z method his builds hold so much imagination that’s the important

Part yeah no no ha on zel but his builds aren’t the greatest but they are creative that’s for sure I’ll give him that and you notice how I actually used to build a lot more in earlier versions I somehow felt more inspired in earlier versions I don’t know if it was the

Terrain the vibe or I don’t know what was it but I felt a lot more inspired in in like beta and hell even early release Al I’m getting a lot of Flint here that I don’t need even for flint and steel and arrows I have plenty of

Those that that’s also why I don’t like Gathering gravel cuz it gives you Flint way too often I don’t even have fortune on this shovel another reason why I’m excited to play Not only Minecraft casually on on the second Channel but also other games is I’ve been like playing with the completionist

Whatever don’t have to be good to be good exactly I mean look look at this thing it’s just a freaking square with two towers up front this desert temple that I built I tend to feel more inspired in old versions than modern ones same I sat

It on a BTA World recently and it’s been giving me plenty of ideas BTA is a fantastic mod because it has a lot of uh it has a lot of building options and a very very nice color palette but it also doesn’t overwhelm you like modern does BJ is just a great

Time all around there are some things in BJ that I find a bit questionable like uh I think all of the different like colored chests for example are redundant I I don’t see who would actually freaking use those and it’s not even like the crafting table which actually us uses

Planks textures no it’s literally a chest which is orange like the chest works on its own well tie that grass that’s more of a nitpick still a great mod made by great people now how the completionist mindset travel in the new caves oh yeah there’s new caves underneath me

Forgetting you were you were right yeah I forgot about that as a mod 2,000 blocks away actually you know what happened recently I when I was like generating words for testing purposes I literally spawned next to a massive monolith that has never happened to me before can feel the soul behind it GTA
