With that wholesome announcement out of the way let’s get started so today we need to well first of all I’m actually gonna make a uh Phantom Farm because I don’t have one of those yet and I kind of need one um so we’re gonna do that and then we

Need to get some enchantments for the Trident as well as uh you know enchantments for the armor as well so armor in China’s enchantments is it gonna be the go for today uh but yeah first things first let’s prepare the mob farm now here’s the thing I’m not actually sure if um

Uh Phantoms that burn in the sun even drop membranes or if I have to kill them myself because if I I don’t if I don’t have to kill them myself I probably do though but if I don’t I can make a very easy family they literally just spawn

Week-long break and after that I’ll be on 1.14 and 1.14 and 1.14.1 in those two versions in particular I can get god tier armor with the highest protection values so as a result I I kind of need to farm enchantments until that happens foreign look at this it keeps breaking the wrong blocks

Tools to enchant there’s nothing to enchant and they also look even more complicated than dogs they would just feel even more out of place even if you just make them look like a slab which is way easier it still doesn’t make a whole lot of sense I’d say those who are interested in

What Kenyan upload in beta craft Jonas I can play classic plus when I try to get the game box screen it gives me an out of bounds error okay that one is not because of your PC I have um oh I think I know why um

What first of all what launcher are you using potato if you’re using moo GMC um you need to add the not the beta craft epoxy but the Legacy array list uh thing jvm argument because classic and in-depth rely on that there’s just no way around it and the

Error you described sounds like it’s probably because of that if you’re already using beta craft it should apply that fix automatically so in that case I have no idea unless you’re trying to load the previous save uh which is normal for you to get that uh but I can’t really help you

Better craft and it’s worked in the past okay so you probably have an old level that you need to delete oh do you get that when when you make a new level if Dev plus is not out yet zelonator is able to play it because he’s a tester he has Early Access

Of the levels uh in the saves folder in your instance all of the dot MC level stuff because I think what’s happening is it’s trying to read level data that from in Dev uh or from a different version of Classic Plus and that’s why it’s crashing because it’s failing to read

That level data because Classic Plus is so Pony made that whenever you click single player it like loads the level list and instead of just launching the metadata for the level it literally lost the entire freaking level at once because back then I had no idea what I

Was doing so I think that’s what’s happening so just clear your saves folder and it should be resolved yeah one of the bug Hunters yes zelk has already found several bugs which we managed to fix so it was because of an yes so basically do not name your in-depth plus levels

Either use preferably use separate instances for a classic plus and in Dev Plus or if you insist on using the same instance do not name your in-depth plus levels world one to four uh world one two five or zero to four I don’t remember exactly

Um I think it’s World zero to four so do not name it World followed by a number essentially yeah there you go so there’s literally I mean there is something I can do I can I can update the mod to only load level metadata when it loads the level list instead of the

Entire level but as I said I I lost the source code so I can’t even update it all right see a good Marketplace and stopping by I I I have no idea David here’s the thing um last night I opened up classic plus uh sauce the source code that I had on

From what I recall but I also noticed the version label was 1.6.8 so somehow even though I had the source code it somehow reverted all the way back to 1.6.8 I have no idea how that happened and uh I I still have it backed up on GitHub on

GitHub the last update the last push that I did was uh um on November of last year even though I updated the mod in February of this year so I did lose a few small fixes uh that I did earlier this year but that source code should be up to date

But the one on my local machine somehow reverted your very early version I have no idea how or what happened but as a result I lost the source code that I’m not even sure if the source code in GitHub will even work I have my doubts because back then I

Didn’t set up the project properly I have absolutely no idea what I was doing I didn’t even know how to use eclipse in GitHub properly so it was a mess thankfully in-depth plus source code is fairly clean and the project is uh fairly clean so it’s not going anywhere

Even if I somehow lose it on my machine if God forbid my PC dies or something I still have it on GitHub backed up and ready to go because I was also using retro mCP Classic Plus was not made using electronic speakers which recipe doesn’t have mappings for 0.30 yet

So I have to deal with some very old outdated mappings from 2011 that barely even worked and it’s fixed yeah there you go so now you know for the future potato now you can enjoy Classic Plus and all of its glitchy and laggy glowy where’s the February update it’s

Literally re-uploaded of the last table a silently upload Jonas the only thing I did was I fixed the bug with the screenshots um so if you want to get the update um either redownload the the jar file if you’re using moo GMC redownload the Java

File from uh from the the Discord or if you’re using beta craft select the latest stable release and click false update and it will redownload the client so it’s just a re-upload and all I did was I fixed a bug where whenever you um made a screenshot uh with the F2 key

If you didn’t have the directory already created the screenshots directory it wouldn’t make the directory so you couldn’t take any screenshots until you manually created the directory so I fixed that bug and I also changed the ice texture to to the one from uh to the glass texture from uh classic 19a

Those are the only two changes that I did so it it’s easily fixable I know how to fix that bug if I ever want to return to the mod I just must remember to actually fix it and also um for the the train.png I already have

So I can just yank it from the compile Java file which I do have archived so you can play it properly because of igpu but I wanted to see the dog thing ah there you go okay yeah the creative mode should run at least on a playable frame rate for your potato

Survival mode is where things start getting crappy oh yeah the Herobrine skin as well I honestly forgot about that um too late to fix it now because I have to edit the code for that not is I I can’t just replace the human texture because it uses both textures so I have

To edit the code and I can’t do that anymore so just deal with it okay is this important no it’s not game over man game over all right let’s catch some z’s and then we’ll continue building this thing it’s been half an hour already I barely even started

Time really does Fly Fast these days man zelenator also noticed it on his stream like you literally start to stream you do one or two things and it’s already time to end it off I guess this is why I always go over time because I never have enough time to

Cobblestone and stone or stone and diorite or something like that but the last you have to get from the nether foreign okay I forgot to get the sand I would wish this helicopter could actually fly that would make things so much quicker I know I can fly with an

Elijah but I don’t want to waste this durability and my Rockets I only use the Elijah for long distance travel that’s why I have these beacons around here with Speed 2 boosts all right if 33 is not enough I I don’t know what I’m gonna do let me also grab some doors

Before I forget let’s get Acacia dolls why not good news is that at 1.14 with my data packs you can smelt sand twice as fast in the blast furnace yes speed because this is just annoying I have no idea what natural smoking when he designed the foreign plan was much

Better he literally was planning to to make it so that if you combine coal with iron in the crafting grade you get steel that is so much simpler I could just grab a stack of coal grab a stack of iron or sand put it in in the crafting

Lid and shift click and voila I have everything this this is so annoying or even better the the the following stuff in the fire that was actually kind of fun I would enjoyed that it’s definitely my favorite Mechanical Mind Dev in the one I miss the most

I could put the Splitters in half and put the other half here but I don’t want to waste an entire block of call for that we make more furnaces and smelt more at once I know but even that is like more uh even that is kind of annoying because

Break for the last week before 1.4 team because I don’t want to play this game that much so task not ask number one get a conduit so we need uh five more Nautilus shells for this so I need to either do fishing or kill some drowned and another thing is gather ice

I’m always gonna need more ice task number seven gather more ice also I never really checked who is the owner of these guys because clearly it’s not me which is very weird the cats as well so they’re literally gonna stay here forever and they’re not even my pets apparently

So they’ll never move from those spots that’s kind of annoying uh how many times have I said Annoying Campbell since 1.10 someone should make a compilation of that I’m genuinely curious there’s probably gonna be at least five minutes of footage of just me saying that word annoying Annoying Annoying Annoying

Annoying there you go here’s a few more entries to whoever is gonna do that I guess that’s the best way for me to describe modern Minecraft at least the late game of modern Minecraft Annoying that’s probably the best word for it the early game and the mid game I’m sure

Is much better and much more fun uh like every time I do something new in in the poly world like explore new chunks to find new stuff and explore new features I am actually having fun but after that once I have to start grinding again uh for new resources like the Nautilus

Shells and the tridents or uh existing stuff like enchantments it just becomes a really tedious and and after doing that what else is there to do just build stuff and when you build stuff in survival is just basically it just becomes creative mode with extra steps like always version of creative mode

I know I know you can argue that when you get the resources yourself and you don’t have them unlimited it’s more it is more gratifying and rewarding and I can understand that but maybe it’s just because I I can’t build and I don’t enjoy building I much prefer adventuring and the game

Doesn’t offer enough adventuring um at least once in the late game if you start in the early game in the latest version you can do a lot more that is why in the future the future of the poly world is kind of Bleak because I’m only going to be playing this on

This world whenever malzank releases an update and I only play until I explode everything the update has to offer generated all the new structures uh quite all the new items and blocks and explore the new features and after that it’s back to dormancy until the next update and I’ll only be streaming during

Weekends as well because during weekdays I mean I can do it now and even during my internship because I’ll be ending work at five every day but uh I would rather do other stuff than play the party world during weekdays and besides weekends if I only play during weekends

That means I get to enjoy the version for a longer period of time because if I play during weekdays whenever there’s a new update I’m basically going to be done with everything the update has to offer in like two weeks whereas if I only play during weekends I’m going to

Be playing an update for around two months until I’ve explored everything that is to explore and that’s just better overall considering how rare emotionic update the game just like once a year basically annually like a Bedrock Edition I never really liked Tomcat for Bedrock it does have some neat features here and

There but for the most part it’s kind of kind of annoying and the worst experience overall in my opinion does it have the Minecraft Stars chunks so inefficiently you explore a couple thousand blocks in your world is half a gigabyte I mean the storage isn’t really a

Problem for me I have a terabyte SSD drive and an additional 256 gigabytes of storage actually do I have two terabytes hold on let me check I don’t think I do nope I have uh one terabyte out of which I have 273 gigabytes free and then

256 gigabyte SSD out of which I have 76 gigabytes free but that one is reserved for the operating system so I’m actually doing pretty good on on space space doesn’t really concern me all that much foreign and keep in mind that this is including every single backup that I’ve made of

The world and I still have over 200 gigabytes free because I have a crap ton of games installed and uh on that disk drive and also backups of the poly world uh in every single version which I am going to be keeping sure and once I stopped playing this game as

Much as I am right now it’s going to become uh even less of an issue because every time I expand the world it’s gonna be like once a year basically and I can always upgrade my storage as well that’s the advantage of having a desktop PC because with a freaking

Laptop you have to rely on USB sticks and whatnot which is not only inefficient in terms of speed and storage but also just annoying and limiting actually exploring enough to find anything interesting makes a world massive again it’s not a problem for most modern systems I don’t know why you complain about that

The big Apollo is the performance because we bought OptiFine model microphones like ass pouching glass blocks left over nice uh why did it place it like that okay there you go okay let’s uh see if G spawn how are they just spawn during the day that’s excellent

Okay well this is gonna be easy then gonna be very easy although I really need to farm this right now I mostly eat this only to repair my lighter I forgot what else you can use that oh yeah for the potion the slow fall potions

But I don’t need any of those right now because I don’t need to explore anymore for the time being but we have the farm now so that’s good and we only took 40 minutes so now I can spend the rest of the stream farming villager and chance

First thing I’m gonna do though before I start butchering villagers um my favorite pastime top 10 method out of context moments uh first thing I’m gonna do is actually grab all my emeralds and see what my current villagers have to offer because I’m pretty sure I have a few villagers that offer uh

Um protection and chance and I also need to organize my enchantment see what I have and what I’m missing and make a list of what I need I need to be more organized okay let me store the glass first my main road is eight gigabytes my world is only two gigabytes

Surprisingly it used to be more but then zelenator told me that uh I had literally a secondary copy of the world inside the original copy which dated back to like Alpha Beta or something with the old system so it was like two gigabytes an additional two gigabytes

And after I cleaned that up the the world ended up being only shy of three gigabytes so rather than what was it like five or something so surprisingly my vote isn’t all that big I was expecting it to be bigger than what it is I have no glass again

Why am I using so much glass I really should stop using glass so much welcome back you know uh what file do I include with texture packs for in-depth plus is the description uh I think just pack txt from what I call normally I would put up this pull

Up the source code but I’m streaming so I can only check I think it’s just pack txt either pack.txto it’s in one of one of the language files I don’t remember info.lank or pack.txt one of the two try try both oh man I really miss my uh my cacti here

I’m not like zelenator I actually want to preserve basically all the trees even the ones that are that aren’t all that special okay let’s grab these four that sounds bad in context who cares about Minecraft villagers they have no feelings could add one more log to the tree to make it taller

Uh I guess but it’s gonna look a bit out of place do I even have any oak logs I do okay oh yeah let’s do that gotta be kind of weird because I think it’s already two blocks tall actually if it is two blocks tall then three blocks is uh also natural

Yeah okay so it will be natural to be like that that one okay cool that case I’m gonna do it boom look at that beautiful okay cool back.txt was correct okay so I did remember correctly the these trees are made by hand because these are the 13A chunks and I made this

Back in classic these are very old trees but I think geodes trees are definitely these ones over here not only can you tell because of the shape uh but also this is the first world to the first chunks would naturally generated trees I’m going to miss classic

I don’t miss a gameplay wise but I definitely miss just the the version the the times I’ll take classic over uh anything past 1.10 any day okay anything past 1.8 to even uh let’s see do I have any phones I do okay so I think how this works is

Why did I pick up dirt when I have glass glass is gonna be even better but okay well let’s uh fill up some craters then uh so I think the way it works is I can literally just phone me on the phone I think I think that’s how I got uh tall phones

Why innov plus runs a lot slower than vanilliant death is because it has up to 256 metadata values for every block that increases memory usage um it has uh where the extended random distance is optional so I’m not really gonna count that but it has Anvil so if you have a

World with extended World height you have basically twice as many chunks to calculate and also the lighting engine is slower the lighting engine itself is faster but it’s slows down the game entirely as a whole so yeah that’s why it runs slower because it’s a lot more advanced

I’ve been trying to optimize it but I’m not good enough to do that and uh even other people that are more experienced are struggling to actually optimize this thing and it’s still surprisingly a lot more optimized than 1.2 when I booted 1.2 to test some stuff

Today I noticed I get like an average of 85 FPS in in-depth in in infinif plus I get an average of 170 to 220 FPS and that is when generating new chunks by the way we’re not generating new chunks in 1.2 I would be lucky if I get 200 FPS

In if that plus I get above 500. that is both uh instances are with extended work height and with uh fog render distance plus does actually run much better at least in my experience than early release Minecraft so I think it’s optimized enough that kind of calmed me down a little bit even
