Minecraft PS4 – Damage Challenge – Battle Mini-Game

Hello this is stampy and welcome to a minecraft let’s play video and today i am doing a another challenge on the battle minigame and this one is called the damage challenge and this is a challenge that i came up with and it’s pretty simple the way it works i have to

Win the round as usual but i am not allowed to take out the other player basically there needs to be at least one other player in the game when the game ends okay and so what i need to to do is to do damage against players i need to do enough damage to

Them so that when the game ends i win by having done the most damage because if you don’t know basically if there’s more than one player left in the game it doesn’t say it’s a draw it just says whoever’s done the most damage is the the winner so

Um yeah i can take players out but i need to have at least one other player left in the game when the game ends and i need to win so basically i need to do a good job of dealing loads of damage and staying alive but not necessarily

Taking out other players like i can take out other players like that is in the the rules but that’s not kind of my my main goal because i need to just to make sure i’m doing more damage than whoever’s left in the the game and it looks like there’s i think there’s three

Of us okay so there’s three of us in the game at the moment uh but every around we play hopefully there’ll be a few more people joining in and obviously the more people that there are in the game the harder things are going to be for me or

Maybe not or maybe not in this case maybe there’s going to be more people for me to deal damage again so look here here we go there’s someone looking in a chest let’s just go and do some damage but i don’t need her to necessarily take oh okay let’s take him out then

I didn’t realize how much damage i was doing i guess they didn’t really have any any armor on so now there’s me and one other person left in the the game i can’t take this person out now this has got to the the point where it’s only us

Left in the the game i’m not allowed to to take them out i just need to do a bit of damage against them and then get away so i guess potions and bow and arrows are going to be the best thing because if i use a melee weapon

Like i’m doing damage against them and then they’re doing damage against me and that’s not going to help me too much so i kind of want to do a lot of like that run in do a bit of damage and then just get out of there and then that way when

The the round eventually ends i should be able to yeah hopefully end up winning the the round so i really want to get a bow that’s kind of the the main thing i’m after that’s why i keep looking to these these chests in the middle to go

After a bow because i can’t take that person out now so the other fear is that if they get super aggressive and just charge me down like i can’t take them out if i kill them then i lose that is me losing the game i mean the game will

Say that i won but with my crazy challenge rules that would have been me having lost the the game so i need to be a really really careful uh to not get caught too close i basically need to play like a coward for a while and all

This could be good ladders ladders could be great because if this guy goes to climb up the the ladder i can hopefully just knock him down and then that way i can kind of keep doing damage on him without him doing too much damage on me

So let’s use the wooden axe then because this doesn’t do too much damage then if he climbs up i can hopefully knock him back down uh and hopefully not take him out i need him to survive at least a little bit but while i’m up here are there any

Chests around here i’m not too good at getting chests on the server i think there’s like a a jump you can do from here i think i can fire arrows from there or that’d be good if it hit them i think i can jump across these these

Rooftops to to get to that chest up here it’s a bit risky because they’re getting a lot more armor it’s actually probably good with him having more armor because it means i can deal more damage against him without it hopefully completely taking him out poison potion could work

Okay as well and then this golden apple uh would be good for for me let’s waste no time and just eat that immediately so here we go so now i can have a bit of a bow battle and i can just shoot him every now and then and as long as i do

More damage against him i should be okay the good thing is as well is i completely took out the other player so i did like i mean what’s that like is it 10 hearts do you have like 10 hearts of damage against him to take him out so i

Have a big big advantage now in the the damage done department i just need to to make sure that that this guy isn’t able to to take me out and i feel pretty safe up here i don’t know how how do you get on top of this house from another

Direction i don’t think there’s a way to get directly up here so i think this might actually be quite a nice place to stay up i got 14 arrows as well so i can keep uh pinging him down if he does get close i think he’s trying to find a way

Up i think he’s trying to to loop around to to find her way up i’m getting a bit scared now though because i’m playing really well like this would have been a really good game if i was playing normally my shots of the bow and arrow are going pretty well

And i’m scared that he hasn’t been eating and getting his uh his health up or something so i’m a little bit scared to try and shoot him again for for now so let’s uh let’s instead just cower here on the the top of the the house and

Trying to avoid all of his bow and arrow shots so oh yeah soon as i am now basically uh waiting around here i’m just going to speed up the the video now so you can see what’s happening until the the round is about to end okay we’re down to the the final few

Seconds of the the round now and he decided just to hang out in the the house down underneath me here i mean in that case he might as well try to attack me he knew he wasn’t going to win but there we go that was a a good first

Successful round it was quite easy though because there were only two other players in the the game and because i was able to take out that one player immediately that kind of gave me a huge damage boost immediately so the rest of the the round was me basically kind of

Just practicing i guess for for future goes and working out how i could deal damage and run away it does seem like staying up high with the bow and arrow is gonna be the the most effective way to win this challenge but now we have one two three four and five including me

In the the game so things are going to be a little bit more difficult uh in this round uh compared to the the previous round where we just played with there’s only a few of us so what level should we go for someone’s going for festive let’s go for

Shipyard i’m going to to vote for no idea if i’m going to end up getting that map but oh yeah that’s the one i’m going to go for no don’t leave oh don’t if i wanted more people i wanted the the challenge it is still more people than we had in

The the last round i always do like it when people are kind of gradually joining in like throughout these videos because it does you know in most of the challenge gradually make it more and more difficult and if anything it actually could be even more difficult

With less players here no there we go i got the map i wanted i got a chip yard that never happens whenever it’s a case where like all of the maps have the same amount of votes i normally never ever win so i’m very happy about that so

Right then same plan as uh as last time deal as much damage maybe take out a couple people early on if i can because that’s going to really boost up my damage then when it gets to the the final person i just need to basically stay alive and do more damage against

Them at all these are diamond boots apparently why did it give me the lever boots instead of the diamond boots on surely the game should be able to assume that i want the diamonds at all i just poisoned myself if i was drinking a swiftness potion or something i’m so bad

In the the rounds where we’re using these texture packs i’m so so bad with them and oh look someone’s just fallen off the map see this is actually bad for me because there’s only two people left now for me to do damage on like the worst case scenario is that one of these

Players takes out another player so they’ve done loads of damage and then i have to have a 1v1 where i need to do damage and not take them out that would be really really tricky so i need to get something better and then i need to try

My best to take out one of these other players i did get a bow so that is kind of one of the the big steps like done one of the the big challenges getting the the right weapons it’d be good to get a better melee weapon oh i got an

Enchanted bow i’ll definitely uh take that and is there some better armor in here as well i think is this iron oh there you go there’s an iron thorns helmet i wish the game would just know that this is better armor and just put

It on like it does when you walk over it but when it’s in a chest the game’s like i don’t know is that better beats me i don’t know and so it’d have been good to yeah be good if it just automatically did that but this is okay now free attack

Sharpness wooden pickaxe not the best but definitely okay so let’s see if we can find some players to do to do some damage then against them oh no they’re not teamed up are they right i think they might be teamed up this could not be the worst thing in the the

World though because they’re not doing damage against each other which means that i can kind of do damage against them then as long as i can avoid them okay things could actually end up all right i mean this this wasn’t part of the game plan this isn’t what i was

Expecting to to have happen it could end up not being the the worst thing in the world though so long as i can survive and run away from them but i am a kitty cat and i am pretty i am pretty fast i am pretty slippery i am rather difficult

To catch so i do i do rate my survivability skills because i can i’m good at running away i don’t know if that’s the thing to be proud of in minecraft i’m good at being a coward and running away and stayed alive hmm so this i mean this is good and bad

It’s good because they’re not doing damage against each other so for my wacky challenge that i’m playing that is a benefit to me it just makes the just makes the whole thing more difficult so what would be great now is if i can take out one of them and then just run away

From the other one until the end of the game that would work out perfectly for me i think there’s a chest down here yes there is i just like a better melee weapon what is this an iron axle there we go an iron knockback axe that is

Going to be a really great for for me so let’s go and have this ready and oh look there they are there they are there they are right let’s just try and do oh no okay i wasted that potion let’s just see if i can get a few shots with the bow

And arrow in again and then maybe try and back off it looks like they’re they’re going for a bit of a loiter around the middle those fence poles are kind of getting in their way and he’s he’s moving really like he moved and then he stopped maybe then he started

Moving again i promise my aim isn’t normally that bad let’s move up a little bit closer then i am being a bit risky it looks like they’ve separated apart actually this guy is all on his on his lonesome let’s be careful not to to fall down to my

Death and let’s go and see if i can take this person out because there we go they were stuck looking in the chest that was a lot of damage okay i didn’t take them out but that was a lot of damage dealt against this guy let’s see if i can drop

Down and finish him off he was not expecting me to jump down through that trapdoor that’s a a really good technique if you didn’t know i know the other person fell out of the world i mean what does what does that mean so this is a weird one because they fell

Off the world after i took out the other player so i didn’t win the game by doing damage but there wasn’t really anything else i could do about that because he just jumped off the edge of the level by accident i reckon he was trying to chase

Me i reckon he was trying to chase me i guess i have no choice but to say that i failed i felt you know through no fault of my eye my own i did not win the game by saying that i did the most damage so

I guess in that round despite my best efforts i failed the the damage challenge but and we’re going straight into another one now there’s a four of us in the the game uh so let’s see how this one’s gonna go we will vote for where haven’t i played in a while i

Haven’t done dig in a little while so let’s go and vote for for dig i do want to play a snowy one as well because it’s so so hot in england right now if i sound like i’m gasping for breath between every sentence it’s because there’s so little air in my room right

Now it’s boiling boiling up but oh yeah if i go to a snowy place in the the game hopefully that will i don’t know cool me down there we go festive festive will do it’s not dick we have played festive a bit recently oh i feel colder already and then the the

Festive christmas music’s gonna start playing in a soon which is going to to cheer me up so that’s gonna make me much happier but anyway i need to focus damage challenge damage challenge damage challenge so oh there we go i got the bow and arrow i

Got the bow and arrow i love the tnt i love the fact that it’s a present like it’s it just seems so weird to have you know a present as just a giant block of tnt but that could be a great way to deal some damage or at least to scare

Someone away from me kind of putting down tnt works really well just to say like don’t follow me do you do not want to follow me like you very rarely actually take someone out with tnt uh but it can work really well just to kind of frighten people away from you which

Is something i’m going to be wanting to do a lot in this uh this game and i got a nice set of arms but i didn’t actually realize how much armor i was able to grab from the the beginning so okay start the only thing i’d love is a

Better melee weapon like a knockback weapon i haven’t really mentioned that that would be something that would be really handy seeing as i will be in a situation where i want to damage someone but not take them out this is exactly what i would want the uh the knockback

Diamond shovel it can do a decent amount of damage which is what i want what i want this is the damage challenge after all and it will keep people away from me so i can hopefully uh stay alive and not take them out as well so right then i’m

Ready to to do my damage i want to get in quick before everyone else starts damaging each other so i want to get as much damage in because if someone goes on a rampage and takes out a load of other players then that’s kind of the the worst case scenario for me because

If i end up just against them then i have a chance to to lose so there we go that should be it is ten hearts you have don’t you let me just count them one two three four five six seven eight nine ten yeah it is ten so the reason i was

Thinking it was nine i think i’m thinking of some of the crafting stuff so yeah that’s ten hearts of damage i’ve done just out right there i mean if i was being really strategic and maybe i should do this i should have like damaged him a bit

Then let his heart stop and then damaged him a bit more just to kind of maximize the damage i do like that is a strategy but i think i would just feel a bit mean like i just feel like i’m bullying them at that point where i’m damaging them

Letting them heal and then damaging them again i don’t know just something about that seems meaner than just completely taking them out right oh look oh no they teamed up again i think they’re teamed up okay so i can damage them i can’t i can take one of them out but i’m not

Allowed to take both of them out this is actually a little bit of a dangerous play sport for me here so let’s let’s go and back off down here for a bit oh this one’s chasing me let’s see if i can take this one out and then run away from the

Other one that’s going to be the ideal situation uh can i take them out there we go that’s this guy taken out i think we’re now down to a 1v1 yeah we are we’re down to a 1v1 it’s just me and one other player left and i have done loads

And loads of damage there’s no way that player has done as much damage as i’ve done so things are looking good for me now now it’s really just about surviving if i can survive to the end of the round and if the other com the other player can

Survive to the end of the round because this is kind of like the situation i was in in the the last one where i’ve now done everything i need to do but if that person falls off something or falls on fire or shoots arrows at themselves or something and if they take themselves

Out then that could be a loss for me so i need to to make sure that i stay alive and they stay alive throughout the the entire game so what about going up into the christmas tree do you think that’s going to be the the safest way or onto

The um the santa sleigh i mean it’s a fun challenge because it’s just basically a parkour challenge and there’s no way they’re going to catch me up there and if they do i can just put tnt behind me to to block them off we’re down to the the showdown now though so

They are going to to know where i am my only worry is if they have a bow and arrow and they might do because they did spend quite a while in the the middle is if they shoot me off now and just take me out then that’s just going to be the

The challenge over there so hopefully they just don’t look up like it’s actually sometimes rather difficult to find people even in the showdown like even though gamer tags are on sometimes especially on colorful maps like this it kind of just blends into everything else so this is me being very risky and

Probably very silly right now because if i fall off that might be me just gone so hopefully i’m gonna do okay there we go that’s some good careful parkour and now i can hang out here with uh with santa and the the elf in the the sleigh and

Where are they okay they’re down there they’re looking for me hello right they do they do have a bow and arrow as well that was very risky it still is pretty risky up here i mean i could fire one arrow at them i mean that’s what arrow’s not going to take

Them out is it i mean it’s risky because if they are really weak then i do have a risk of taking them out so i should probably just hide but it’s hard to resist can i like drop tnt down if i like go to the edge here i think i can

Like drop tnt down the the side can’t i there we go i can drop bombs down on them from santa sleigh i’m delivering the presents i’m delivering the the explosive present stir to everyone once again though showing the the problem with teaming up i can’t remember if they

Were the same people from the the last round but because they teamed up and weren’t doing damage and i’m playing in my cowardly way here hanging out on santa sleigh that’s kind of ended up backfiring from from them a little bit i can just chill

Out here with santa in the elf and in three two one game is over and i’ve won there we go that was definitely the most successful round of the the damage challenge yet this is really fun this is a really fun challenge and you can kind

Of scale the difficulty in a few ways one obviously how many players are in the game but also how long the the rounds are at the moment i’ve been doing the rounds as normal like normal length but you could do shorter ones which would probably make the the challenge a

Little bit easier then if you do a longer one then that’s going to make the the challenge harder because it basically means it’s longer you have to to survive for and you know more time for for everyone else to go and damage each other but anyway let’s go straight into the the next

Round then i’m gonna go uh looks like someone’s voting for valley i i i could do a game of valley let’s go and vote for for valley as well so that’s uh two votes for for valley although they switched to halloween i was basically voting for valley so we wouldn’t get

Halloween because we keep getting a value a lot recently let’s go fall for cove then that way uh there’s two votes for for cove and uh two votes for for halloween and we’ll see we’ll see whether i’m going to to get lucky now and actually end up getting the the map

That i want i it could be two in a row it could be two times it’s a draw and i end up getting the the map that i want but i just feel like that’s not going to happen i love this grill what happened there did you see the

Grass i thought that was a new texture or something a new biome that made the the grass gray but then it will just suddenly turn green again no idea what’s going on there if you know what’s going on with that gray grass if it is just a glitch or

Something let me know because i love the look of it i wish we could actually use that in our in our builds would be really cool anyway back into the the challenge we have uh the same amount of players again pretty decent start i got

A sword and a bow and arrow so that’s uh kind of what i need it’s especially the the bow and arrow which is gonna be a very useful uh for me in this challenge so let’s stay alive at the beginning and all are they are they teamed up again

Yeah it’s those two they’re the two troublemakers they’re the ones that i need to watch out for and they are looking for revenge i saw them they had intent in their eyes they were charging to me throwing potions they are trying to to get revenge on poor old little stampy cat after

After how i embarrassed them with the last round so there we go i got a little bit more armor this should help me out i’m a little bit scared just because these guys are chasing after me still so let’s just go and back off from uh from

Them for now at all well there’s someone else here let’s see if i can take them out because that’s just gonna be loads of damage dealt really early on but i am still being chased i’m not gonna commit to this fight if this person runs away

Let’s just try and get a nice amount of damage in like that and then let’s just go and run away so there we go that’s all there we go i knocked them off i think that counts as my damage as well because they fell because of me i think

That counts as my damage i think that’s 10 damage points given to to me 10 damage points to gryffindor 10 damage points to stampy i should say so that’s going to be good for me so now it’s going to be more about staying alive and making sure

That i continue getting more damage than anyone else and look at all of this goodies inside of here i’m scared though that these people are still chasing me uh they seem to to not be though so let’s go and grab one of these uh these helmets inside of the the chest here as

Well if i can get it this is always risky there we go i got an iron helmet as well that was definitely worth doing so i’m gonna be able to survive a much longer than i was able to before and it looks like the uh the trouble teamers

I’ve been able to to give them the slip for for now and is it just them left is it just me and them it is it’s just me and the the trouble teamers so unless they turn on each other and fight each other which could happen it does

Often happen when uh in situations like this unless they they turn and go after each other i should be set to to win this game to be fair but i can’t risk that i’m gonna try and do the the same thing i did before and i’m gonna go and try and take

Out one of them and then run away from the the other and then that’s gonna hopefully be able to secure my victory outright so where are they oh there we go there’s one down there there’s one down there they look looks like they have split up a little bit

Linked up together in the middle now i have a poison potion so that’s like a that’s a good way to to start an engagement one has more armor than the the other so there we go i got him with a poison but i poisoned myself as well

Let’s just go and do a weakness potion on this person i mean i don’t need to actually take one of them out as long as i can do damage to both of them but there we go i was i was able to take one

Of them out and now i need to to run away i can’t take this fight even though i think i might be able to to win it i can’t take this fight because if i win the battle against him i would have lost my challenge so i need to i need to back

Off i’m quite hungry though and that’s the the thing that’s worrying me because it means i can’t really sprint around so i said earlier that i i rate myself as a good escaper so let’s see how well i can how well i can escape here i was able to

To pick up some stampy style boots on the way and look at those parkour skills there’s no way they’re gonna do that first time not a chance not a chart i think i may have just survived they might come up down here though let’s uh let’s just keep running away for for now

Until we can see where they are again are they are they under the boat and they round i don’t think it’s not in showdown yet is it so i can’t see their gamertag i am a little bit nervous right now because they have really good armor

And even if i did get into a fight i’m not allowed to take them out i have to just stay alive and do damage against them for for now and i have no idea where they are there we go showdown showdown they’re in the boat they’re in

The boat they weren’t able to make the job that is a really useful job i do that all the time to get up there to that chest so yeah you kind of jump along those few little logs and you get onto the the boat and it works out

Really well for for you so now it’s kind of the the waiting game i would like to to get more chests if i can just to build up my supply of armor so i still have a bunch of leather stuff and then i have no leggings whatsoever

Just to increase the chances i have to to survive only a minute left in the the game though this is a little bit risky going for this chest again but there’s often very good stuff in there so i built up my my supply of arrows i guess

Which is a a good thing to be able to do let’s just go and throw down some of this stuff that i don’t need and what’s what’s the situation down there so they’re just camping so this is the thing that drives me crazy i mean it doesn’t matter because it’s good

For me but like this person knows they’re gonna lose like they know i’ve done more damage like this happened a second ago they know that i’m gonna win unless they attack me but then they don’t they just wait in the middle they just they can’t help sticking with their

Their strategy of staying in the middle and it works out really well for for me but it just means it’s going to be an easy victory and hello i think they might have just seen me there let’s just go and grab whatever’s from this chest just because i’m crossing whoa

Loads of stuff inside of this chest let’s go and grab ah grab this not that it really matters hello peek-a-boo hello and there we go i did it again i won another round of the the damage challenge this is going really really well so what i think i’m gonna go do now

Is i’m gonna go and try and do one more round but with the um with short rounds just to see if it’s gonna make it easier or harder so i’m gonna load out this lobby load into a new one wait for some people to to join in and we can go and

Give that a go so yeah that’s gonna be the final round and coming up next right there i’m now in a new lobby this is now doing shorter rounds so basically it means the showdown is going to start way quicker than the the previous rounds and this could either end up making things

Easier for me or it could end up making things way harder for me it really depends on how everyone else plays because if the round shorter and everyone really attacks each other at the beginning it will actually make it more difficult for me because it means

Like there’s less time for me to to kind of gradually damage people and then like back off and stuff so in that way it could make things harder but in other ways it could make things easier because if i have a really good start and take

Out loads of people it just means that there’s there’s less time that i need to to just survive before the round ends which just kind of increases the the chances of me being able to to win that way so might be easier might be harder we’re going to see how well things goes

Okay so costa bones was slain by detonator so detonator has done a lot of damage so detonator is one of my my main opponents that i guess in this uh this round because they have done a whole load of damage already and i’ve done absolutely no damage and this is a map

That i’ve played like twice i think and i have no idea where any of the chess are but it looks like i’ve just stumbled across one so oh no no does it count doing damage on yourself can i just keep jumping up and keep doing damage on myself i’m pretty sure

That that’s not a way to be able to do this right make the job oh there’s someone here there’s somebody knock him off knock him off no no what am i doing oh i’ve only got one heart i’ve only got one heart i was really panicking trying to knock that

Person off and oh dear there’s potions there are potions being splashed am i being chased am i being placed i need to get my hunger up anyway is someone chasing me i heard a splash i got tnt on me which is good i could have got order

I could have knocked that person off and got that chest that could have been perfect if i just wasn’t rubbish at this game and just failed at everything that i tried her to do anyway though what what access it’s a wooden axe not the best and a bow and arrow but

This could be all right i really just got to use the bow and arrow for for now then don’t i and just keep everyone at a distance uh because my armor is not the the best in the the world and there’s a chest down there oh here

We go this person’s going to the chest this is a good chance for me to do some damage and aha look it’s now down to the showdown so this is actually a really bad scenario you know i say i don’t know if it’s going to be good or bad the fact

That the round’s going to end soon is actually kind of pretty bad for me but oh there we go i was able to to take that person out then let’s go and grab all of their their goodies i think was this a better ax uh no that was uh that

Was just worse than what i had before i don’t know they’re not teamed up are they i saw them just chilling out in the middle i don’t know if they were if they were fighting or not are they fighting i think i think they are i think they are

Fighting each other so i got to be catholics i can’t well i guess i can take one of them out let’s see if i can just take up this one in the the middle and then run away before the other person shows up it all depends on if i

Can take this person out though oh no i could take it out i just got taken out i should have ran away i realized as it was happening and i failed it actually could be harder with the shorter rounds though but this video has gone on long enough i did say this was

Going to be the the final round so yeah this is the damage channel challenge feel free to give it a go yourself uh see if you can do better as i did uh i’m sure many of you would be able to do better than i did yeah plenty more
