All right smith are you ready to cough up the emerald don’t make this any harder on yourself smith i’ve killed before and i’m not afraid to do it again come on man i’m only one short just give it to me please fine you leave me no choice We have ways of handling villagers like you hey you’re one lever away from a hot lava bath just let me get out this last lever so you have some time to think things up those aren’t mine anyways any last words well then another day another life cool chess though huh oh smith What a way to go hey what’s going on guys like that zip here and welcome back to the minecraft redstone creation today i’m gonna be showing you how you can make infinitely expandable chests for any chests using awesome command stone magic today’s concept is by ragers so you make sure You check them out their link will be in the description below as well as a download to this awesome build i made around this redstone contraption but i’m going to show you how to do this right now using command blocks but either way guys i hope you enjoy if you do let’s See if we get 600 likes for the next minecraft redstone video but without further ado i’m going to tear down these walls and show you exactly how it works so first of all right off the bat these are the chests that are being cloned and swapped every time you switch between Your hopper and your fern now the hopper and the fern are acting as up and down arrows to cycle through the chest so you’ll see when you move either the hopper or the fern to your inventory it will cycle between the next gesture so we’ll go back up one and then suddenly You’re back at the flower chest so you can’t keep any items in these two slots really not a big deal but one thing i want you to feast your eyes on over here is the objective because it’s using a dummy objective to determine what chest Drone so notice when i go up a chest i lose a chest score of one when i go down a chest i gain one when i go down another i gain another the best part about this is it is infinitely scalable using the dummy system as well as some Of the command blocks over here so right off the bat this is simply a filled command which is setting off a constant redstone signal to these other blocks now over here it’s determining if you have either the tall grass which is the fern or the hopper Which again are the up and down arrows in the chests from there it’s setting off a few different signals the comparators when activated will come up here and what is going on up here is it is determining what score you are at and once it knows what score you’re at what It will do is it will copy that chest over to the store chest the clone chest and here’s what’s really neat about it is these will update live so i will remove this piston uh change chests and once it is determined and re-copy the new chest over you’ll notice the pistons Are gone so once again we’ll just grab let’s grab all the rose bushes and all the alliums because they’re just so pretty change the chest one more time and again completely gone they update live just make sure you keep these chests out of reach of wherever you’re trying to use this mechanic otherwise The items technically are cloned but as long as these are unreachable they’re not going to be accessible in any way and if you want to add more chests you just stack along this way just as many blocks as you need just continue to stack now the other thing that the Comparator is setting off it is either clearing tall grass or it is clearing your hopper and it is either adding one score to your chest score or it is removing one now once it’s cloned that is that’s when it’s added from there again more repeatable areas you can just stack this so what This is doing is it is test for your current score once it has tested the current score it will then move the clone copy back over so first of all it’s being saved right over here then the chest is being said over there and once it’s Saved then it gets moved back and then the final command block over here is simply putting either the hopper or the fern back into the chests as well as the slot over here you can see it’s it’s put over in slot 26 and slot 8 which are the Corresponding top right and bottom right corners so all it’s really doing is you move your items grab a fern it switches the chest that’s there adds or removes to your score does all the doohickeys and then moves this chest back over once you try to access it again so it is Completely scalable and it is the coolest thing it’s a great way to save on space especially if you’re making some kind of adventure map you just want a chest that has access to everything obviously you don’t need to use hoppers and ferns specifically they just happen To look you know fairly close to up and down arrows so um that’s really about as simple as it gets uh let me know if you guys end up using this in any maps you make or creations or anything like that of course check out mr rager’s channel In the description below if you want to see more redstone videos make sure we get at least 600 likes on this video and of course i hope you enjoyed thanks again and
