Minecraft Seaopolis | FLOPPERS, LAVA & COBBLESTONE GENERATION! #2 [Modded Questing Skyblock]

In the last stream we started the brand new modpack here theopolis and we completed the entirety of the first quest section welcome to the sea and we did starting up wooden tech storage doors tinkers and we even completed all of the chapter challenges giving us this reward right at the end with these

Blocks right here now you may be wondering why we’ve got these science blocks and these yellow hazard blocks down on the ground and the reason for that is that just before i start recording here we put these down to kind of get an idea of what they look like

And unfortunately if you look in the top left hand corner you can see that these blocks here both the science block and the yellow hazard block cannot be broken with our current pickaxe they require a pickaxe that can mine diamond so that being an iron pickaxe or better

And unfortunately given that we’re still uh quite early on in the mod pack playthrough here we do not yet have the ability to make iron and so i cannot pick these up just yet at least not in the normal sense one thing that we can do

That has been pointed out by the twitch chat is we can either i guess of course just break these with a non-iron pickaxe that does work we would just lose the blocks they would be deleted and much like if you try to mine iron or with anything other than a diamond pickaxe

Alternatively the cardboard box here does work in allowing us to pick up the block but of course this is not the best solution because now all we can do is either put this down somewhere else which you know just moves the problem or we can just kind of

Disregard this cardboard box and put it away as a cardboard box which gets rid of the block for now but also means we would have to make eight more cardboard boxes in order to pick all of these up now as janky as it is i think that’s probably gonna have to be

What we do here so if i’m not mistaken 16 o’clocks should get us enough sawdust in order to make eight more cardboard boxes so let’s go ahead and throw these down we can use our new stone wand here to kind of drop these down nice and quickly

And from there we should be able to hammer those down boom from there craft those up and from there we should be able to pick up all of these and i think what i’ll do for now just to kind of get these out of the way because they take up so much storage

Space is i think we should probably just go ahead and make a new chest and basically store all of these cardboard boxes just kind of out of the way for now we’ll put them like right here now between streams i have done a couple of things here you’ll see i’ve put down

At the bed that we made and i have slept in that because whilst i was doing a bit of work between streams i was also greeted by some phantoms because we went three nights without sleeping so that is something uh that you do have to bear in mind um

I’ve also kind of reorganized things a little bit tried to make it a little bit more neat and tidy and we have basically the same setup for making dirt that we had previously but i kind of cut it down to just two oak barrels as opposed to three

So that we can nicely embed it in the wall here i’ve also set up a draw for earth logs because as you can see we do now have 501 o’clock again mostly because i spent a bit of time between streams cutting down trees shearing leaves making dirt

So that hopefully today we don’t have to spend quite so much time at doing that now if we take a look in the quest book we’re going to start today of course with the moving on up which begins with taking it up and the first quest

In here is to make a regular minecraft furnace which if you don’t know is used to smelt items now thankfully because we completed those challenge quests in the last stream we did get an extra stack of stone and so we should be able to fairly easily actually get a good amount

Of cobblestone here and that should make getting a regular furnace quite easy for us and i think the reason that we’re gonna want a furnace is because we actually want to begin smelting our regular stone into smooth stone the reason for that is that if you break smooth stone

With a hammer you get gravel that gravel can then be sifted to get flint as well as dust and that dust can be used to get clear which is what is going to open up the world of ceramics to us and really the first kind of major goal for today’s stream is going

To be to try and get lava because once we have lava we have the ability to make a cobblestone generator and from there we don’t have to really do any dirt sifting at least in terms of getting more cobblestone so let’s head back over and let’s get our first

Minecraft furnace apparently that’s not the recipe ah okay so the recipe has been tweaked here it requires five cobblestone and then three compressed cobblestones so the good news is i did make extra cobblestone here and the bad news is that there is no bad news i made more than a perfect boom

And boom nice alright so for now we’ll throw this down uh maybe like over here i’m pretty sure that you can put things on top and still access all of these stations if you wish and from there of course what we can do is we can grab some of

Our wood we can grab some of our stone and we should be able to start smelting all of this up so while we wait for that to smelt let me take a look here we can claim this quest reward uh there is a quest to get charcoal and

To get torches that seems like it’s gonna be very useful especially as we start to expand out the base and of course we don’t want mob spawning in any of our underwater areas where possible we also have a quest to get a stone barrel i believe this is going to come

In useful when we start looking to make sand a little later on down the line here once we have lava but for now we should actually have this quest complete we do and i’m going to assume that just doing something like that is going to complete the gravel quest it

Will indeed now as for flint you can craft three gravel into one flint however if you sift the gravel you have a 100 chance of getting flint and then a 70 chance of getting an extra piece of flint so it’s really not worth using this recipe right here it’s uh

That turns three gravel into one flint whereas here you can turn one gravel potentially into two flint which is of course much more efficient and uh we got quite lucky and got too flint now which is very nice indeed and then the final request here is to

Make a flint mesh which is an upgraded version of the string mesh and that requires four string meshes four flint and one compressed flint uh so in actuality we need 13 flint and four string meshes which should be completely fine uh 13 flynn is probably gonna be maybe like seven

Or eight gravel and as luck would have it we do have nine smooth sun here and so actually one thing we can do is that we can also show off the compressed hammer in action because if we compress the smooth stone into compressed smooth stone i’m

Assuming that from there we can take our compressed stone hammer break this and we get nine gravel at the same time from there we can go ahead and sift all of that gravel simultaneously because we have nine sieves down and we got 18 flint which we’re gonna go

Ahead and use of course to make a block of flint and at that point the only thing we’re missing i guess is the meshes right and given that we do have a good number of leaves and string lying around i think we should be able to make four meshes here and i’m still

Getting that recipe wrong three hours into the pack here but i think we should be able to make four meshes here fairly easily and boom a flint mesh nice so as i showed in the last uh stream we can just click here to claim all of those rewards at once

Beautiful and we are now at what 75 c books there which is very nice indeed down here the next quest is to make dust and dust we can make by crafting up four dust beautiful and then from there as i mentioned i think in the last stream

If you place dust into a wooden barrel with water in it you will get a block of clay and as i could have it in the last stream we did make this flopper here which for those who don’t remember is a fluid hopper a hopper that can move

Water and so what we should be able to do and we should probably use one of the pre-existing wooden barrels but i believe what we can do here is if we go out i think you have to have water above the flopper for it to be able to move water

Into the barrel let me just quickly confirm that up here place the flopper into the sea and a barrel underneath this will fill the water uh fill the barrel with water so presumably and i will think i think i’ll grab a bit of dirt here as well to make it easier

To build but i think what we should be able to do is kind of do something like this like this and like this that should put water into here just as soon as we get rid of that dirt i think it does i’m going to assume that in the

Future what we could do is we could just build an unlimited water source above the flopper and then from there um it would still auto fill the barrel with water so in the future we could bring that up uh but we are going to have to get a

Bucket first in order to be able to do that for now it looks like that barrel is full yep it’s got one bucket worth of water in it so now if we right click with our dust it now has a block of clay in it and if

We right click again we get that clear out and i think that the first quest in ceramics is to actually just craft that block of clay into regular clay beautiful so for ceramics here we’ll claim our reward we have to make porcelain clay used to make all sorts of useful stuff

So uh this recipe i think is tweaked a little bit normally porcelain clear is clear and bone meal thankfully this has been tweaked so we don’t have to set up a mob spawner at least not just yet uh we need one clay and two dust as luck would have it we have 21

Dust at our disposal and so if we do something like this we get our first bit of pulse and clay i’m going to assume we’re going to need a lot more of it and this is where we can actually use this for something useful because right here

Is a quest to make an unfired crucible and then a fire crucible and the idea here is that we can use the fire crucible in conjunction with our pre-existing cobblestone to produce lava from there we could of course make a bucket get some water and we can generate our first

Cobblestone generator so let’s have a look to make the unfired crucible we need seven porcelain clay and one stone barrel the stone barrel requires six smooth stone and one stone slab so let’s grab some of our regular old stone here let’s get that smelting over here for when we need that barrel

While we waiting for that and we are gonna have to get a little bit more dust i think two should do it here that’s gonna get us eight more clay it’s possible we need a bit more later in today’s stream but i think for now this should get us the crucible

The flopper is a little bit slow so once again we’ll craft those down and if we have enough dust here which we don’t quite we’re very close we’re gonna have six out of the seven porcelain clay that we need so we need one more if we’re gonna make that work

And that does mean we’re gonna have to get a bit more gravel and of course gravel is acquired through uh stone so once again we should probably just go ahead and throw some more stone in here and for now at least use this stone to acquire some more gravel

Okay 14 more there should be perfect that gets a seven and from there i think we’re pretty much good to go we’re just waiting on our smooth stone over there uh while we went for that there was also a quest to make an unfired clear bucket

That we can then smelt into a ceramic bucket which is going to be basically an early game version of the iron bucket that we’ll make later on down the line and this here requires three more porcelain clays so if we do another one of these one two three and

That should be enough porcelain clay there and in fact we should be able to just make that right away here we totally can and i think we also saw another recipe there that is going to be useful for this quest so there is a quest to make ceramic shears

These can be made by combining two ceramic shears apart and these can be made by smelting clear shears part uh these are made from mole porcelain clay i think i’m gonna hold off on these for now because i don’t think that we need shears that desperately we do have a ton of

Wood like we’ve got a bunch of planks in here and of course we still have hundreds of oak logs in our drawer so i think for now even if these ceramic shears are better i don’t know if it’s necessarily gonna be worth us investing in them at

Least not until we get a better source of dust or at least a better way to make uh stones we can get gravel and therefore can get dust either way back to our regular quest line we have 12 smooth stone here and so we should i

Believe be able to go ahead and make a stone barrel and from there we can take that and combine it up with seven porcelain clay and boom we have an unfired crucible much like with the unfired clear bucket here i assume we are going to have to smelt that

Yes once it’s melted we can then begin using it to make lava so we’ll start with the unified crucible because we are going to do that before we need the bucket good stuff we’ll throw the bucket in there and unless it’s been changed usually what you can do

Here at least to uh to start out can i turn regular tiny call back into regular call i can’t interesting i guess we could use the tiny call here as fuel but i think what we’re gonna have to do is place the fired crucible on top of

A torch but yeah usually the way it works you place a torch underneath it and then it will melt things like cobblestone inside of it to produce lava however we did notice in the first stream that it looks like in this pack instead of using cobblestone oh you can still use cobblestone

But you can also use crushed diorite crushed andesite and crushed granite each of which get you more fluid than cobblestone does and given that we do have a bunch of granite andesite and thyroid pebbles i feel like we might as well use those before we start burning through

Our our precious cobblestone but either way no matter what we smelt we are gonna have to get a torch first so let’s quickly uh smelt down this log that’s also gonna complete the uh quest line up here unfortunately i dislike this sometimes we didn’t get

The uh it didn’t register us as making a stone barrel that’s kind of my fault if you create an item especially if it’s a quest item you have to first take it out of the crafting station and actually have it in your inventory if it’s going to count

I’m assuming what i did is i took it directly from the output slot and placed it in the crafting station again so the quest book didn’t register me as having made the stone barrel it’s not a huge deal we can go ahead and make another stone barrel

Uh probably fairly soon here in fact i’m pretty sure that there are recipes yeah that are gonna require us to make another uh crucible into this stream so we definitely do have to make another one either way uh for now though let us take that charcoal let’s quickly grab

A stick boom and boom we get our torch and from there i’m going to assume that what we can do is we don’t want to do this i think for now we’ll do it right here we’ll probably end up moving this uh to a new area in the near future though

So torch fired crucible and you’ll see right now it says heat five underneath it i think if we get rid of this yeah that heat level goes down to zero let me test something here if i put like this crushed and aside in does it turn into lava

It doesn’t and the reason i wanted to test that is that in the book here it does say melts blocks and items into different fluids it says having a heat source underneath will make it melt faster it looks like that’s kind of true but also it doesn’t work without a heat

Source but once you do have a heat source you’ll see that we are starting to produce lava slowly but surely so each one gets the hundred ml buckets so we are going to need 10 of these that should be totally fine i’m assuming i can’t mix and match oh i totally can

Interesting you can put both of those in there okay cool somebody in the twitch chat has pointed out that even though you can’t compress regular granite and then hammer it and you can compress crushed granite and i assume also crushed diorite and a crushed endocyte and then you can take that compressed

Crushed granite andesite or diorite and put that into the crucible and you will just get the 1000 ml buckets from that one compressed block as opposed to having to put all 10 blocks in individually which is quite useful because by default you can’t put that you can’t put like an infinite

Number of blocks in here and you’ll see right now even though we’re not gonna get to a thousand millibuckets with what we have in the crucible i can’t put another diorite in until like the last bit of thyroid has been used up we are pretty close though i think one

More piece of dye right here should get us all the lava that we’re after oh yeah of course also the twitch chat is pointing out that that’s one block cheaper as well it’s nine granite nine crushed granite uh instead of ten crushed granite which would normally be so it is even cheaper

As well uh to use the the compressed form definitely something we should bear in mind for the future while we wait for the last few millibuckets of lava here to flow in one thing we are going to have to think about here is where we’re going to put our cobblestone generator

And i’m pretty sure that when you use a ceramic bucket to pick up lava the lava will break the bucket so you can pick it up you can put the lava down but as soon as you place the lava down the bucket will be destroyed so what we should probably

Do is we should probably try and get our water where we want it to be before we break this bucket here so i think for now what i might do is i might just start expanding out our room a little bit here i’m using dirt just because we have

So much of it i should probably actually use a wood in all fairness but that’s going to give us a bit of space to where we could look at putting down some kind of cobblestone generator so let me think about this we’ll probably almost certainly end up moving this

Fairly soon but just to get started here and to give us all the cobblestone that we’re going to need and let’s do something like this i’m going to put the lava there we’ll of course get rid of the wood so the lava doesn’t uh burn everything but that means that

We’re going to have like water here the water isn’t gonna flow if we do something like this and then go and put some slabs down like here and here back up on the surface here we should be able to put our water down at right about here again we’re going to

Want to slab maybe there that water should flow down but it shouldn’t fly out and then from there if we put lava down here we should get a generator now you’ll notice right off the bat that that wasn’t cobblestone that is because unlike in most mod packs the cobblestone kind of generator

System has been tweaked a bit in in this pack here so if we take a look at granite for example you’ll see that it does show here that the lava and water can generate granite and if we click on show all recipes which is just clicking where it

Says cobblestone generating and we can see all of the custom recipes so with lava and water we can get stone granite diorite and andesite stone is the most likely with a weight of seven and then all of the others the andesite granite and diorite are all equally likely so we are still

Gonna get more stern than anything else and although it’s kind of shown a little bit weirdly here in jei i’m pretty sure that this means that the cobblestone or regular style i should say has a 70 chance of appearing and then the granite the diorite and the endocyte

Each have a 10 chance of appearing so seven out of 10 times you’re gonna get uh stone one out of ten times you can get granite one out of ten times you’re gonna get diorite one out of ten times you’re gonna get uh endocyte that’s what uh that that means there um

What i will do real quick here is i’ll quickly get some cobblestone slabs and i will replace the wooden slabs here just to make sure that we don’t uh end up burning our base down there have also been other tweaks as well and we’re actually gonna get into those

Uh basically right away here because uh going forward if we want to make red sand we have to use lava so we can put a lava into a stone barrel if you try and put lava into a wooden barrel it will burn so what lava goes into a stone barrel

You put dust into that battle much like we did to make clear and then from there we can make red sand and if we want we can drop that red sand into water right here and that will produce regular sand that recipe is a little tedious thankfully as soon as we have

A little bit of regular sand specifically as soon as we have four we can make sand stone and if we place sandstone underneath the cobblestone generator so if we were to place sandstone right about there where this piece of dirt that i’m looking at is right now if we were to put sandstone

Here instead of producing stone granite and the cytothyroid this cobblestone generator would instead begin producing sand and red sand if we look right here we can see that water plus lava equals send if there is sandstone beneath it and much like with the cobblestone recipe there are alterations here you have a 50

Chance of getting sand and a 50 chance of getting redstone but as i just mentioned if you want you can turn all of your red sand into a regular sand just by dropping it into water which we’re of course surrounded by so let’s go ahead i guess and drop a block of

Crushed granite into here that’s going to get us another bucket worth of lava once we have that book of lava we can make our first red sand i guess we are going to have to get four buckets of lava to make that work because we need four red sand from there

We can get full regular sand from there we can get one sandstone and from there we’re good to go and there is also an option down here by the way compressed smooth stone um i think is there a generator for it yeah there’s an option right here to

Produce smooth stone directly so instead of having to you know mine stone that turns into cobblestone and then smelt that and then smelt it again to get smooth stone to get gravel what we can do is once we have uh nine smooth stone we can place that down and

In fact we could probably do that right about now if we take three more stone here and we drop that in over here what we should be able to do is craft up one compressed smooth stone then we can place that under this stone right here we can place it where the

Dirt is and then from there instead of producing stone granite andesite and thyroid uh it will begin producing smooth stone that we can then mine and instantly used to get more gravel and therefore more durst and therefore more clay and also more red sand all that goodness

Fairly easily so we’ll take the nine smooth stone craft that up into a block drop that block right about here and then from there if we break this it should produce smooth stone look at that beautiful and also gravel oh okay i didn’t actually know it was gonna produce gravel but that’s

Actually probably quite good as well we could definitely do with getting ourselves a shovel like a tinker shovel that’s gonna be easier to use let’s have a look here so uh i think it’s gonna be an 80 20 then yeah so eight out of 10 times you’re gonna get uh smooth stone at

Two out of ten times you’re going to get uh to get gravel there so much more likely to get smooth stone but you can get both and one of the next quests coming up here is going to be to make a cobblestone generator uh right here it says flowing

Lava when it makes contact with water we’ll make stone granite and a sine thyroid we’ve already done this but right here is a very useful block the block breaker which is going to allow us to essentially automate all of this right so i think what we’re going to want to do

Is set up three distinct cobblestone generators one that produces smooth stone and gravel one that produces stone endocytin diorite and one that produces sand and red send we can then get three block breakers these guys right here place those down in front of the blocks being generated and from there we can automatically

Generate stone andesite thyroid red sand normal sand smooth stone and gravel now though let’s work on getting four more buckets of lava and i think it’s probably going to be in our best interest well actually a few things first things first if we’re going to do that

We are going to have to get another bucket because of course we used up our first bucket in fact we’ve got to get multiple buckets because each time we move a bucket of lava we’re going to have to get a new bucket cause it breaks every single time but uh

Down here let’s quickly do another one of these get some more clay we’re going to need some more dust as well so we’re going to have to sift some more gravel but what i was going to say is it’s probably going to be worthwhile i was using this bucket of lava right

Here to heat up the crucible actually i don’t even need to do that we can move the crucible over this lava right here and that should increase the heat number in the top left there and this should start smelting the crushed rocks into lava much much faster so i think for now what

We’re gonna have to do is take a quick second to do a bit of gravel gathering which is going to be most easily done with this generator right here and before we do that i think we should look at getting a shovel and now that we have flint i think we

Could make a flint shovel head so it looks like there’s no longer a shovel in tinker’s construct you used to be able to make a shovel much like you can make an axe and a pickaxe but there is still the mata here which is kind of a

An axe shovel combined to make that we need a flint karma head we need a x head doesn’t have to be made of flame but i feel like flint is a a good material it’s better than wood and a stone i’m also going to need a tool handle and

A binding from there if we do all four of those actually you don’t need a binding i’m incorrect there but if we do the three of those we get a flint matic and i’m fairly certain that from there we should be able to break this gravel much easier yeah nice

So some more gravel sifting later and we should now be able to make our next bucket here i am being told by the twitch chat that there is currently a bug which doesn’t allow you to place lava directly into a stone barrel so a few things here one we are going to

Have to get a new stone barrel thankfully now that we’re just mining smooth stone directly from our generator the stone barrel is much easier to make and if we put it in our inventory that should complete the quest beautiful thus completing the uh taking it up section of chapter two but let’s go

Ahead and grab this before i forget let’s move this fired crucible because if as i mentioned before if we put it directly above this lava right here the heat number goes from five to fifty so that is to smelt things up much much faster

In fact if we were to go ahead and grab let’s say some endocyte here and if we were to quickly push down the endocyte much like we did with the granite before it we can then of course craft that up into one crushed and a site and if we drop it in here

That should get us a bucket of lava much much faster yeah we got 50 ml buckets per second so it’s only going to take 20 seconds so that to get us a new bucket of lava there which is perfect uh let us see though if i were to put first of all

A bit more dirt down just to give us some space and if we did something like this can i put the lava in here no i cannot so i’m being told that what we have to do here is we have to use the flopper in order to make this work thankfully the flopper

Not too hard to make and i’m assuming all we have to do here is put the lava down above the flopper kind of like what we’ve done with the the water for our underground barrel something like this yes that does work it’s a little slow but it gets there and then once it’s

In there uh we were looking to make red sand which we get by right clicking dust onto the barrel and boom we have our first red sand from there we can drop that into water that gets us a regular sand and now we basically have to do that three more times

That includes making three more buckets we have to make three more buckets get three more buckets of lava put those in over here and once we’ve done that we then should be good to go so chet as always is coming at me with the better ideas than my own suggesting that we actually

Use the cardboard box to move the crucible over to here and then the flopper can suck the lava out directly thus meaning we don’t have to go and make you know three more buckets to make this work and then we can take our dust and make the red sand that is a

Significantly easier way of doing it the only slightly uh you know suspicious part about it is that it does mean we have to break like we have to break the crucible while it’s above the lava so we do kind of risk ever so slightly losing the uh the crucible when we break it

But for the most part it seems to be working quite nicely all right so that should be our last red sand we now have two red sander two regular sand let’s quickly clean off this red sand here yikes where the heck did my stand go there it is

From there we can make a sand stone and then much like we did before now if we go ahead and break this compressed smooth stone and replace it with some sandstone uh we should then be able to start generating sand both red and regular now let’s

Quickly eat so we don’t die if we accidentally walk in that lava there so let’s go ahead and climb all of our rewards here beautiful and now if we’re going to make this uh block breaker and i guess specifically if we’re going to make three block at three block breakers

And we need to get 12 polish diorite uh which is just 12 regular diorite that should be fairly easy did we use diorite or do we use endocyte and granite we i should have checked because we could have used anodine granite here instead of diorite and now i’ve wasted my diet but that’s

Fine we can get some more so we need 12 diorite three wooden hoppers six compressed stone hammers so we are gonna have to get a good amount of stone here how much stone do we currently have got 31 stone there they got 32 stone so we are gonna have to get a good

Bit more stone there are two ways we could do this i guess we could either just mine the stone that appears here and then smelt it or we could try sifting dirt again but given that we have so much dirt i actually think the dirt sifting might

Not be a terrible way to go about getting some some of the stone here we also need uh three more fired crucibles so we have to get a good amount more uh porcelain clear and dust but again that shouldn’t be too difficult now that we can get gravel so easily

With the smooth stern generator and on top of that we also need finally to get three flint meshes we already have one and getting two more really shouldn’t be too difficult um and so mostly it’s just a case of getting a lot more of the stuff that we’ve already

Acquired okay so a lot of dirt sifting i’ve actually sifted all but one of my uh dirt pieces here we have a bit more dirt in here i guess but so we’ve sifted most of the dirt that we had we’ve also smelted a bunch of cobblestone that we got by you know

Just using our cobblestone generator but now we do have i believe what it takes to make two compressed hammers now uh to do that i’m gonna have to get some inventory space here because it’s gonna take quite a bit of inventory space to make this many hammers

Hopefully i can just do this i totally can so you press u on the hammers here or you could press r on a compressed camera either one would work oh that’s very interesting you can use broken you can use a hammer and then still use it to make a

Compressed stone hammer interesting so if you wanted to be extremely frugal you could take all of the 54 i think compressed hammers we used here use them all until they have like one durability left and then use them to make compressed hammers that seems like an unnecessarily janky way of going about it

And boom six compressed stone hammers that’s part one done also thanks to all that dirt sifting we do have a bunch of diorite here so uh there is 16 diorite we can craft that up into 16 polish die right we’re only 12 for now though so that is

More than enough and at that point what we missing uh we should have it to the flint because we did sift some gravel as well so let’s quickly see here do we have what it takes to make uh i guess two more of the flint meshes

Almost what are we missing here i assume we’re missing just uh some more vines yes boom and from there we should be able to go and get two of the compressed flint and two more of the flint meshes nice that goes along with the uh

Want flint at the one flint mesh that we already have beautiful and what else we missing here so now it’s just a case of getting three wooden hoppers which is by far the easiest part of the whole equation here one two three and one two three beautiful from there

It’s just getting three more crucibles which really shouldn’t be too bad again all of that gravel sifting did get us a bunch of dust so we can craft that up and take that down and all we have to do now is get a bunch of

Clay and we should be good to go check one two three one two three that’s three unfired crucibles let’s get those fired up in here and i think chet that we are finally good to go we have 12 polish diorite now we have three wooden hoppers we have six compressed stone

Uh we have three flint meshes and we’re currently smelting at the three unfired crucibles to make the three fire crucibles and so we should now be able to make those block breakers there’s our first one and the idea of course we’re going to put them down right about

Here i don’t know if these face yeah okay so actually you want to make sure you put it down not like i just did instead you want to put it down up against the block you want to break like that and boom so you can provide these with power and

I believe they go faster if you give them power but they do work without power and so as you can see once every 10 seconds it will also break whatever block is in front of it which is pretty neat if we come back over here we

Should be able to make two more of those and that we should be able to use those of course to set up the sand the stone and the smooth stone generators okay so a little bit of building lich and we have something that looks like

This so the idea here is that where the cobblestone blocks are that is where water is going to go what we might want to do just to make sure the water flows in the right direction is just do something like this the idea being of course that we

Get rid of the cobblestone we put down the water the water flows and the lava is going to go in the middle here so we’ll throw down like a let’s throw down some smooth stone i guess like right here that’s where the lava is going to be

And so walter is going to hit it from this side the back side and this right hand side here and each of these blocks this one here this one here and this one here these are going to be different blocks depending on what we want to

Create right so one of them is going to have i guess nothing underneath there and by nothing i mean it’ll be a block that doesn’t uh change the way the cobblestone generator works one will have smooth stone and one will have sandstone so let’s finish up these

Slabs around here and as i mentioned a moment ago we want to get rid of the cobblestone and we’ll put the water down before we move the lava so we’ll do water here and we’ll do water here those should flow perfectly they do indeed now let’s go and grab

That lava and we’ll also pick up that third block breaker and we will quickly craft up one more block of sandstone so sandstone we have we also need the compressed smooth stone and that should be everything so let’s take all that up to the surface so here we can put down the lava

In the middle we’ll do that in just a second though because first let’s put down the compressed smooth stone like so and let’s also put down the sandstone and yep once again i have failed to sleep and thus we are greeted by phantoms the good news is that the phantoms cannot swim

And those i should just be able to uh quickly pop into this uh this bed here we do still have to wait for them to die which it looks like they’ve done beautiful okay cool so where were we we’ve got down the compressed smooth snow we’ve got down

The sandstone and this one we’ll just leave this moon as a smooth stone slab because the smooth stone slab doesn’t change uh what is generated so now if we just do this we should start generating all of the things here we’re going to generate smooth stone and gravel

Here we’re going to generate diorite and a site granite and cobblestone and then here we’re going to generate red sand and normal sand so all we should have to do is this this and this and i think we’re good to go check i think that we are good

To go all of these should be generating resources and over time we’re just going to start to get a lot more of all of these of course eventually we would probably want to start looking at extracting these items out and pumping them maybe into their own respective storage drawers

But for now they’re not going too fast or i think that’s necessarily something we need to worry about and i will claim this reward here we could if we wanted to purchase a solar panel or a wind turbine and use those as a way to power these

But again i don’t know if that’s strictly necessary just yet especially because we don’t have what it takes to move the power around until we start getting bronze and cinebar dust the two things are going to allow us to make the basic universal cable which would allow us

To move power out of these turbines or solar panels we would have to get like one wind turbine or one solar panel per machine which might not be terrible you know we could spend 30 c books here and drop down one of a solar panel on each

Of these i assume that would be enough power maybe i actually don’t know how much the uh the generators from mechanism produce but for now i think this is fine i don’t need to worry about it too too much instead i think we can work on finishing

Up this ceramics portion of the quest line here all we need to do is get a blast furnace this is made with five compressed cobblestone three fired crucibles and one regular furnace which in and of itself is three more compressed cobblestone so there’s a lot of cobblestone needed and

Then from there we can begin making glass because in this pack you do have to smelt sand in a blast furnace in order to make the other glass there uh but once we do have that glass from there of course we can begin uh expanding out our

Base like obviously we don’t need glass to do that we could have expanded our base with any number of blocks but i do kind of like the aesthetic that we have here i like the look of the glass and ideally i’d like to continue using

Glass as we uh as we expand out the base okay so quite a while later we have three more fired crucibles here we also have enough cobblestone to make eight compressed cobblestone so we should be able to make another vanilla furnace upgrade that to a blast furnace which i see no reason

Not to place down right over here with our regular furnace and from their chat we should now finally be able to begin making some glass boom and in doing so we should also complete the ceramics portion of uh oh no we didn’t make the uh the clay shears ah okay well that’s actually

Probably fine because as look would have it we do have some spare parts right here so all we need to do actually is just smelt those up to go along with the glass and then at that point then we should have completed the ceramics portion of the pack here again these shears

Weren’t really worth it i don’t think at the start of the uh the quest line but now at the end of it and we have a much easier time getting clear i see no reason not to uh not to complete it there and i think chat that’s probably about

Where we’re gonna wrap up the uh seopolis portion of today’s stream let’s just quickly do one of those the chapter is complete next time we’ll come back we’ll look at getting the basics of a tinker smeltery up and running there’s also a quest there for a flint pickaxe head which is definitely

Something we should work on and i did look ahead a little bit here at the chapter challenges and they don’t seem too bad they seem a lot easier for for chapter two here like getting fish should be easy enough um we have to cook it um i did start

Cooking some fish at the recommendation of the twitch chat we’re getting the fish of course from our fisherman’s strainer getting a bunch of sand of course should be super easy and the same is true with smooth stone now that we have those automated block breakers which i will let run

For probably quite a while between streams so we have a good number of resources when we come back as a reward here we do get a draw controller as well as some draw keys which is gonna be super useful for us at going forward here and uh yeah so

Next time we’ll come back we’ll start working on the smeltering and we’ll also start looking i guess at the farming questline here and i guess just moving on in general doing some uh flint sitting with our flint’s different mesh earlier i did mention the cinnabar and

The bronze once we have those we can start looking at power maybe buy the the solar or wind generator and use those to start powering some of our machines upstairs and of course any other machines that we make in the future but for now guys i’m gonna go ahead and wrap up the
