Minecraft Solo Survival Series Ep: 1 Baby Steps

Foreign Foreign Thank you Thank you All right so bear with me here um I have not played Minecraft in a very long time and I have never played on the PC I started way back when it first came out for PlayStation 3. The learning day we’re gonna learn some things we’re gonna work on uh finding a place to live you know setting up a little temporary base getting some supplies uh maybe one day we work into some mods I would like a textured pack of some sort nothing too fancy just uh

Just clean it up a little bit you know make things look a little uh spicier though Swimming The fishies Uh what are we doing here Okay perspective F5 all right there’s no way we can make a boat yet I don’t know why it was telling me that Give me all the sticks I’m rich I sure want the sugar cane hello in the water So I think the professional thing to do would be to like make a bunch of paper with all my sugar cane so I don’t have any to plant and uh that way I’m being as efficient as possible foreign This sucks We’ll take a little bit of stuff with me though I don’t know when the next time I’ll be running into a desert is so uh you know you know take the Necessities the bare necessities Well I am going to start starving to death though I should have probably killed some fish um it’s fine I’m sure there’s water on the other side of this right I have no idea where I’m going by the way I didn’t leave any markers I didn’t do anything I’m just running straight from spawn in some random direction if I die never going back to where I came from it’s just not happening there is no chance

It’s all right it’s not like we have too much stuff on a little bit sugar cane never hurt nobody wanna I hate to just eat raw fish that’s probably not great You know it would be a freaking Game Changer I said we could just find a village like right off red you know we walk over this hill and there’s just a buncha would be set This is such a big Hazard it doesn’t end we have to kill some fishy fish I’m looking for trees there ain’t no trees out here look I know it’s been a while but I ain’t no amateur all right I say that and then I go and drown where are all the fish Oh this is sustainable we can keep doing this forever but Cactus does more damage just kidding I’m dying it’s a great start oh bones that’s actually awesome yep yeah okay I mean at least we’re not going to starve to death like immediately just grab a couple more I don’t need too

Much I have a feeling that this biome is going to end very soon and we’re gonna have good luck you just don’t know you never know we can get out of the desert though we don’t really need to survive off fish we can just like grab a pig or a cow or something

This fish has like way more Health than I do thank you foreign too you know what I’m gonna bring some ink with me so I’m gonna make a diary I’m gonna write about my my Journeys every time I know that’s all squid in here I’m gonna kill you with your cousin come here

I know I saw a squid back that was kind of worried goodness the Squid’s gonna kill me that’s perfect going over this hill yep that’s a little better let’s open the mat run out of food like as soon as I got out of the water though

But there’s you know what I can do can I change my keyboards is that a possibility goodness it’s nighttime already yes we’re playing on hard core I’m totally gonna die eventually but um for now we’re gonna try to be cool kids and not do that it’s parkour this Park Court

Just kind of like peruse the landscape until I’m like oh that looks kind of nice I would like to have that outside my front window and then slap a couple of like dirt blocks on the ground and make them a square I’m just kidding I mean maybe for the

Starter base so we’ll probably just like dig a hole in the ground right and uh but I I just don’t have any supplies right now so bear with me I know it’s gonna be ugly it’s gonna be unorganized it’s gonna be a mess but it’s just gonna

Take some time I’m in absolutely no rush here I’ve got all the Time in the World to throw this together um and also in between other games like it’s not just gonna be Minecraft it’s gonna be a lot of smite I love playing Smite um what other games

Maybe it’s just Smite no uh okay so I was playing a lot of Diablo that was super fun and then I got this PC and uh I started playing because I was playing on Playstation beforehand right so like controller is such a different world and Diablo is a very very difficult game to

Get used to when you go from playing it like for a couple of months on console with controller uh to plan on keyboard and mouse and yeah I could just plug like a controller in and play that way um there’s probably a few games where that would be more ideal like I don’t

Know if you guys ever played Elden ring oh love that game absolutely love that game but I played it on Console right um and I had never played on keyboard and mouse one of my buddies was saying that like he because he originally played it on keyboard and mouse to start

And pretty much beat the whole game like he tore it up he did so good and uh then turned around and said like dude I tried uh Elden ring on a controller versus like keyboard and mouse he said controller is so much better so I I think a lot of games are

Probably just gonna have to like I’m just gonna try it um like I I bought a game called sakiro uh specifically because I loved Elden ring so much I was like oh dude that’s that’s what I’ve got to do like a tore up Elden ring I put

Like hundreds of hours into it it’s like I would love to go back into the lineage because it was actually my first Dark Souls game and I was I loved it so much that I was like I just gotta try something else um so Sakura was coming um very soon

Uh I don’t know when I’ll start it I don’t I’m definitely not going to be doing no speed runs no no hit runs nothing like that I’m gonna suck I’m gonna be so bad it’s just how it’s gonna have to be um but it’s a learning curve you know

We’re gonna have fun we’re gonna enjoy the story we’re gonna have some wonderful moments it’s just gonna be it’s gonna be goofy and stupid you can make fun of me just a little not too much please be nice sort of like if I make fun of me you can make fun of it

Um which is wonderful you know do what you want to do and oh I wouldn’t like be blown away if people would watch like the entirety of everything like from very beginning to end um but I don’t even I don’t do that I don’t know who’s got time for that um

We’re donkey oh my gosh if I had a saddle right now I’d throw a donkey you in there and put a chest on them we’d have all the inventory space in the world Yeah there’s the music I was hoping for it’s very quiet it’s all the way up I mean it’s fun So nostalgic brings me back into like my childhood you know A little promising feel like we’re getting close I know this is like Dreadful it’s so boring he’s watching like some dude walk in circles some kind of sucks that that yeah I’m so bad like I’m unbelievably bad at this game well but that’s how you learn you know you gotta make mistakes

You gotta learn over time you get better and but when it comes to building am I surprising we’ll see I know B-Dubs you know but uh I like to take my time be creative and just like experiment with different things you know I want to jump all the way down there and find out I have to climb back up or else I would totally get in a boat and start swimming Yeah foreign Oh yeah we’re getting to the boat here very very soon oh that’s kind of a nice looking cave entrance though um but I’ve done so many cave houses back in my my my youngin years that I want to like expand and start building like open standing houses you know something more

Aesthetically pleasing something that I can um uh learn from you know uh I feel like when I build a house in a cave it’s just kind of like Splat and it’s there and there’s really not a whole lot to do with it I like Islands even though making like a mine

Underground is kind of rig and suck I’ll tell you what I do like that Island um we’re gonna get in the boat we’re gonna travel for just a little ways and you can go too far and we don’t find anything interesting or if it’s just nothing but ocean we’ll come back Or the ocean just ends right there and it’s not actually an island that’s fine too oh okay Foreign Out of the water and it would turn into like a plank and two sticks you wouldn’t get like the whole boat back so every single time you went to go pick the boat up you have to make a new one that uh that was bad that sucked hey this is the type of

Biome I’m talking about here this actually I do enjoy like the planes it’s a little high up in the air um oh yeah this is pretty high up in here which makes like mining a pain not make it very fun if we can promising I like the lake too Lots of animals it’s always good too we need animals foreign that would be kind of nice it’s tiny though if there was more space the back I mean I could always carve it out but I’m looking for something a little more simple to start with because

This isn’t just a starter base I don’t plan on like staying in this place forever and ever so maybe this would do it maybe maybe this is good take a look over the hill see what’s up here real quick this might be it right here Forest I mean it’s not like reaching out and grabbing me by the collar saying like build me better be here you must build me now um it’s not saying that but it’s not telling me to run away and scream and cry because it’s not that bad

To go near because I could just like set up an iron farm and not even have to worry about really doing much mining um which you know this is the first time I’ve ever played on Java which is going to be interesting because all the Mechanics for things like Farms

Um just very Nitty Gritty like detail-oriented stuff that I just I’m clueless of now I have no idea what it’s going to take to build an iron farm and as far as I know like it’s going to be more simple um looks like you just need a single

Villager in a single bed and a zombie Maybe um I think but that’s not yet we’re that’s the near future we’re getting there it’s plenty of choice okay maybe just one more where’s my house I need to do that okay I’ll remember next time now I know but for that yep foreign Foreign yeah it’s not pretty work equipment here guys thank you okay this might be a controversial question I don’t know we’ll see but you know feedback let me know you guys like anime like well if you do um first of all there’s different types

Which that would be a freaking Game Changer guys uh I might have to take a look at some of that stuff and I’ll [ __ ] I miss that Big Time fan of Syndicate boy send HD back in the day when he was doing like his Minecraft adventure

Worlds I I don’t even really know what it was called um I got so clicked on it man I was so jealous because I never had a PC and uh when when it when Minecraft came out for the PlayStation my whole life changed and I didn’t see sunlight for ever since

I haven’t seen sunlight since and um man one of my favorite series of all time on YouTube at least up is watching uh Tom Syndicate play Minecraft Feed the Beast with the other boys you know and and girl um freaking it was just such a nostalgic

Time and every now and then I get like a little wild hair and I’m like oh man I could go watch back some of that like be making dinner or something and uh just slap the video on the background which brings you back to the The Glory

Days and I was always so jealous of Feed the Beast because I just never had the opportunity to play it and now that I’m like 10 years behind I might give it a shot um I don’t know if that’d be something you guys would be interested in or not I

Don’t know if anybody would be interested in that kind of thing um but I I think I’d be interested in it um it might be a lot of fun and is that a spawner laughs I know where he’s at all right I see him I hear him I hear slime too hello my it’s not a I don’t think it’s a sponge We’ll know here in a minute I’m joking I handled that very well um what was I talking about talking about Feed the Beast man what a cool series um and oh my gosh eat water thank you go away I’m sure there’s like much better mods out there now at this point like Feed

The Beast is probably irrelevant and there’s like if not irrelevant like it’s been amped Up by like 100 million times I’m sure there’s like a bazillion more things that have been added to it and it’s just infinitely more complex um but yeah yeah I might give it a shot

I don’t know if I can add that to this world um our God says no I my gut is telling me that like you got to make a whole new world which is fine um I don’t know if Minecraft is gonna be a thing that I continue like frequently

Um it might just be a now and then thing we’ll see uh depends on pets uh on a bunch of different factors but uh well you know we’ll touch base back into that in the future here uh it’s definitely not gonna be never thing um I I absolutely love this game and

One of my favorite things to do it’s just like It’s like breaking stuff and and more so placing blocks down what a simple life what more could you ask for So we go until we break these Stone pickaxes and then got one more right yeah and then I don’t know I guess we have to go back up top I did bring wood with me though so it’s not like I can’t make more but it would be a

Good time to like empty the inventory and get a little bit more organized Look at all the Iron Man I’m striking boom Baby lots and lots of good oh yes You saw me so good you guys like Star Wars you know I don’t know uh you guys but I I was not the biggest fan of the newer stuff maybe I’m a little old-fashioned off you know uh I just kind of preferred the older stuff um

Not that it’s not good I just don’t really appreciate where the license took it um it’s good in its own way I feel like if it didn’t have a Star Wars label on it I would love it a lot more but because I just like expected it to

Be the same thing that I loved as a kid um and then I grew up with I just kind of butt hurt about it but that’s not like there’s some bazillion other franchises that have done that and not that they’re not good like the Predator franchise oh my gosh

Towards like the Old Log Cabin type of colors you know a lot of stone a lot of earthy type of tones Uh Wood um but we’ll do some experimenting here we’re gonna like gonna step outside of our comfort zone when it comes to building and fighting mobs apparently too because

I suck at that papers do not jump on my head don’t do it there’s a serious lack of mobs though down here I’m not complaining kind of surprised hello is that a slime like this I think it was just his footsteps I’m gonna get lost thank you foreign very close take a little Hiatus From The Underground life oops uh uh I’m not ready I’m not about prepared to go down that way for some reason uh my gut’s telling me it’s a bad idea

And once I get a little bit deeper than this we won’t actually find any more coal as far as I’m aware um so I’ll take all of it I can get right now should have brought the shears with me I would like to get some glow like and uh

Been like an aspect of my life since I was a child um but I love video games like apps more than anything in life more than like water I would definitely die of thirst before I stopped playing video games um which I don’t do that you know be healthy guys out there um

Come across like a an enchanted book and get a bunch of iron I don’t even think how much iron does it take it takes four blocks right no no three blocks which is 27. yeah yeah I think I have plenty of iron to make a uh

Um it’d be really cool if like you bred more bees that’ll fit in a nest because what is it like three bees that fit into a single nest if you’ve bred four or five up and they would naturally like go spawn another Nest somewhere like on a

Tree so like the ones that don’t fit you know they look for a place to stay at night and then like in the morning you wake up at like there’s a nest on another tree nearby I don’t know just just you know who’s with that I mean like obviously you could just go

Craft a nest for them if you want to um which I might do oh you know what I think I need honeycomb for it which means I need to make a vampire foreign mm-hmm that’s plenty of saplings foreign thank you [Applause] doing a little um landscaping that’s all nothing too crazy

Uh and you know collecting a little bit of dirt I might go one more layer down just trying to clean things up a little tiny bit make it a little a little more natural and also more convenient because it’s a little high and I’m thinking

I don’t know let me take a step back let me uh don’t worry I’ll replant the trees here very soon I’m just kind of like trying to give the branches some time to fall I love peanut butter I love it my favorite thing in the world peanut butter protein shake oh my

Goodness you want to talk about the wishes and healthy like it’s got all the vitamins you need it’s got all the protein you need it’s got everything and uh you know put a little teaspoon of uh natural honey right and uh some cinnamon too because Cinnamon’s good for your heart now we’re talking

There was a problem where they were just disappearing straight up just like poof gone no idea where they’re going it’s like what is going on with these bees like why are they just disappearing like a bread up a whole bunch of them and other people are having problems too and

It turns out like if there’s water nearby they’ll do that little up and down that little like dip thing that they do when they fly and they’ll touch the water and then they’ll just freaking drown like suicidal bees man stay back stay back I’ll tell you back I got to beat the

Ladies off with a stick if you don’t know what I’m talking about I’m sorry look it up uh well I just put everything in this chest ah today don’t you come out here I might fill this in in fact actually I might keep a little tiny pond here

Um but I’m thinking that possibly the main little um cabin house that I’m thinking would probably go like right along here or maybe more even like right right somewhere hold on let me um let me step back a little bit let’s get a perspective of what we’re working with here

Sometimes you just gotta like you know or fill that in just just like fill that in with grass I’m thinking like a house can go like right here and kind of like border the water and like maybe even run a deck like a like a back or

Front back which way should it face I think it I think it it borders the water here faces this way right and then we can put like a little deck out into the water nothing too crazy just like something that reaches out and you can like fish

Off of have a little little chair sitting out and then the back of it can open up to like a little Garden area I could put some crops back in the corner here and then like pathing back here and then once the pathing gets back here like you

Get this little natural pond and like create like a fencing around and like make this the just a small little uh like cow pen or something or just a bunch of animals and then this little Hut that we got going on inside the little hobbit hole can be the mine shaft

We already are digging it down so like when you’re looking at not right up out here you got like fencing around maybe not quite that far like fencing around this way and it stops like right there and then this I’ll carve it out just a little bit more

Um just make it look like a a natural cave entrance um like some Stone stuff like that and maybe I’ll collect like uh like the drip stone and a bunch of different blocks it’s gonna be a process where it’s going to take quite a while but like we’re putting the vision

Together and that’s the whole part of it that’s that’s the fun there’s a the process is the fun um yeah I don’t know we’ll we’ll work with this for now and um you know it’s gonna take some time and it’s definitely not gonna be all day my goodness it took us like

Two two and a half hours just to find this stupid place [Applause] exhausting so I keep it elevated no no no it’s got to be down low I’m gonna have to like or maybe I don’t maybe I don’t carve this back Thinking let me finish this little sleep and uh I’ll take another step back and look at it again gotta get a different perspective you can’t just look at it from one side you gotta like do a whole 360. you know hit the full perspective of what you’re looking for

And really understand how the environment feels like thick shoes off walk in the grass you know get your toes all mud really get in touch with Mother Nature I didn’t mean that thank you Um I am gonna plant some more trees here maybe Hold on I’m out Foreign and then the house can sit like right in this little Valley like this little sort of outline of a valley that the hills create in the background it can sit right in between there all right and like uh I think I should probably dig up this clay and maybe the sand

As well it’s easy resources and if I’m gonna cover it up I might as well just collect it just to have it uh I like glass I got plenty of dirt to work with too and there’s plenty more Excavating to do as well so it’s not like I’m not gonna

Have enough dirt in order to fill this in so I go multiple layers though how much sand is that half a stack hold on I’m gonna kept that fortune shovel got a coat of water this doesn’t really matter if there’s water sitting underneath the ground oh okay just for like peace of mind

I’m Gonna Fill the whole thing in gonna be a little extra work that’s okay how much sand a stack I think I I tear this up that bit more what the heck’s going on down here I can do this Oh I thought I was gonna drown be like oh God thank you

I don’t know what’s happening oh I’m dying foreign it’s a little too symmetrical I don’t like that don’t you do it you freaking did it what are the odds that just runs away or like I unload a chunk and it disappears foreign Thank you hey see this is why I keep you inside [Applause] foreign do you have any idea how annoying you are I could get where where are the uh wandering villagers at aren’t they supposed to spawn like frequently once every hour something like that like if I could

You know slay a couple of their llamas too symmetrical I need it to be like [Applause] foreign I know I don’t want the bottom to be all dirt those kind of look kind of sort of gross oh I don’t have any bamboos bamboo would be pretty nice actually There’s a whole list of like miscellaneous stuff we need we need bamboo very bushes we need different types of trees We’re gonna work with what we got for now though thank you I promise I’m gonna fix this border eventually guys I uh I know I forgot about it and I’m procrastinating but it like takes my cursor away for some reason and I’m not sure why or how to fix that

Give him give him a loop thank you Foreign I think I threw that string away I did that’s okay I was gonna like put a piece of string to cap off one of these to like stagger the the height levels of them make them look a little nicer but maybe I just do like this for now wonderful Darlings

Uh re-rack these trees damn they’re not gonna stay here uh this is just for convenience of not running like up the mountain to go get wood um I’ll drop them all down again eventually and this thing’s gonna have to go this is um this monstrosity it does kind of look

Nice but its position is just wrong and it needs more leaves so it’s gonna have to go but that’s that’s a lot of work I hate cutting these trees down my favorite trees are like spruce oh like the two wads first so you could just like Spiral up straight back down

There’s a whole list of things I gotta do here so I don’t really have those supplies to start building yet as much as I would like to get something on the ground Can you guys hear that There’s a train passing by my house foreign again I guess it’s gonna be quiet that’s okay oh I was just curious I uh I haven’t been recording and had a train go by yet so I was wondering if it would like come up with my microphone uh I’ve got a filter set so that it doesn’t do that
