Hey hey uh it’s been a little while but we are back and right off the bat you may notice that this is not my normal skin this is a custom model designed to work with spinal origin created by metal Maniac or Swanky he makes a whole bunch Of stuff like music pretty models and pretty textures for the pretty models so go send them some lover if you can find them he occasionally shows up in my comments but you can also head of the CPM Discord to have a look at some of his other work This video is going to be broken up into three main parts in the first I’ll go over the core mechanics and powers of the origin in the second it’ll accomplish a slightly more advanced or technical aspects of the origin and in the third part I’ll show you how to take Advantage of the origin CPM integration to create your own spine compatible models the two active powers of the origin are stole and kick you can press your secondary build a key to stall freezing in place you could then use your primary ability to kick unfreezing you and boosting you in the Direction you are looking If an enemy attacks you within half a second of you entering a stall you will gain a switch if you look at an endstein kick while you have a switch you will tap them dealing a high amount of damage this does PS blocks you may have noticed that there are two Resource bottles at the bottom of my screen the first of which being the style beta style is affecting different ways by different moves reaching maximum style will trigger a flare fully healing you and giving you a free switch the second bar is the momentum bar throughout this video I’ve been running This command to keep it at 50 but as you can see if I turn it off it begins to drain it will not drain however if you are stalled much like with style different moves will affect it in different ways attacking enemies or taking damage will also lower it you Will die if you reach maximum or minimum momentum uh that covers the basic mechanics the origin but those are not the only moves first up let’s talk about skips typically the kick you would press the stall button and then the kick button but if you hold the kick button and tap The store button you will instead skip ping gives you a lot more momentum than kicking but significantly less Style next let’s look at Crush if you gain a switch but do not use it within one second you will instead Crush consuming a large amount of momentum of flinging All nearby entities into the air if you gain a switch and attempts to tab but do not hit an NC you will slip gaining a large amount of momentum but setting your style zero now we’ve gone over skips which is a kick immediately after a stall but what About a tap immediately after a storm the tap equivalent of Escape is called a pitch pitches are much harder to pull off but will automatically set your style to Max you can also pitch from a player if you reach maximum style and hold down the kick button you can use your flare to Pitch this could in theory be used to make infinitely long pitch chains but I’m not quite skilled enough for the origin to Showcase that here the Lost move is foul if you switch off damage caused by yourself say for example from a potion it will count as a Foul fouls will heavily drain your momentum so it’s not something you can do often now I’ll quickly go over how to add CPM animations that are triggered by the origins moves to make the model itself you will need some CPM knowledge so I’ll link the Discord down below but simply Go over to the animations tab let’s make a new one you can either make it a custom pose or a custom gesture let’s do a gesture for kick so we name it kick or lowercase tick this box so it’s a command activated animation and let’s say for this animation he Raises his left arm so let’s save this and testing game and now when we kick raises his left arm now I do understand that this was a lot of information so if you go to the origins Discord next to the download for the data pack for the origin there is a Text file called mechanics that has a list of all of the move names for animations as well as their impact on style and momentum so if you need clarification on any of the moves have a look at that or ask me in the comments below but uh thank you for watching till The end um I do understand that I there was a pretty big gap between me making this origin and posting video um yeah life stuff but I mean school holidays now so maybe I’ll make some more stuff who knows um but yeah thank you bye-bye also don’t forget to show metal maniacs And love go like look at look at the moth look how fancy it is wow you better not forget to show them some appreciation Video Information
