Minecraft Squid Farm | 6000+ Inc Sac per Hour | 1.20 – 1.21+

Hey guys it’s regant here and you’ve probably already seen it today i’m going to show you how you can build this full automatic squid farm so you can get unlimited black dye and ink sacs from here and what would you see we got some water normally the

Squids should like that should spawn in there right now they’re not spawning many but in the normal case they are spawning more like now and yeah i’m gonna show you how to build it it’s actually very simple to build the thumb and it’s done very quickly you

Have some things to do around that takes some time but for the die and for the insects the effort is definitely worth it um yeah you see the squid spawning up there falling down dying going into the hoppers and ending up in this chest and you see i already got tons of insects

Sometimes you also get some simon some boundary from the sermon and even some enterprise don’t ask me how this guy died here and he bring also a grass block so you see it’s very efficient the farm and actually very useful and i would really recommend it to build it in your world um

Because everyone needs black dye especially for creative things so yeah let’s start so these are the items you will need for the farm you can use any color of glass and i would also recommend to take a beacon and material for beacon with you and also probably sponges if you have

Them um but otherwise this would be enough so first we have to find a river biome for that you can just walk around the map and search one because they are actually not very rare if you press f3 you can also see in which biome you currently are

If you found one then search for 9×9 field which is completely in the river biome then you build up to y64 and build the 9×9 platform out of glass After you got this you start in one corner and remove every second block like i do in the video now expand the platform on all sides for 3 blocks and float the area then you should have 25 holes in total in the platform now you can also test if you are in the

River biome above every hole during building my own farm i recognize that above two houses is another biome and not the river i can’t say how much this affects the farm but for me the farm works fine and very effective so i think it’s not a big different now build a frame

Around the thumb and remove the water below the platform After you got this you have to dig out a hole to y45 if you already have a beacon i would recommend using it because it’s much faster to dig out the hole If you are down now at the bottom you have to place gates below the holes for that uh i would recommend building at least one um one hole to the bottom with temporary blocks and so you have a exact point and then you start building in one

Corner and place every two blocks a gate and between them a temporary block you repeat this four times and leave a one block gap between the rows then you have to build more temporary blocks on top of the gates now surround every block with four gates like i do in the video

The four gates will keep the water in place so it won’t drop down remove all the temporary blocks now and open all gates now dig down to y29 After you reached it we have to build the collecting system i recommend to build double chests on one wall and leave a two block space to the sidewalls then build 11 hoppers behind every chest leading into it and put slaps on top of them of course you can also use only one

Chest but if you want to make a big afk session the signatures would be filled within 20 or 30 minutes also you can expand the collection system so the items will collect in one chest like i do right here if you’re also done with this step go to

The top and put water into the holes the water should now stop at the gates and the thumb is theoretically ready to increase the productivity of the farm you have two options first you can set the render distance to two chunks and use the farm in i would say slow mode

It’s not that effective but if you don’t need a high amounts of ink sacs um it would be enough for yeah for small amounts the other option is to remove all the water 120 blocks around the farm this would be some effort but if you really

Need big amounts of the items i would recommend it to do it because it increases the amount of items enormous for me in the video it took me around two hours to do that and a small tip from me if you use sponges like i did to

In the video to remove the water you can just build a nether portal and place the wet sponges on the ground they will be instantly dry and you can use them again that’s a small tip that you could probably use if you want to dry out all the water in this area So now after the whole work i’m gonna let the thumb run for around about an hour and after that we see a speeder so now let’s go So the time was now running from one hour and 15 or 20 minutes um i’ve already sorted the items in here in a few chests but this one here you can see we have a very good amount of items um these are around 7 500 ink sacks and around about one

Stack salmon and some bone meal um this would result in around 6 000 inc per hour what is pretty insane for just standing afk around here i built a small fk but so i’m safe here i’m just putting two glass blocks here always and then i’m safe here normally nothing can happen

But one time i found an ender pearl inside of one chest so actually i don’t know how the element came down here but um yeah this is the farm i think it’s very effective especially if you need many insects because i think everyone of you knows how annoying it is to farm insects
