Minecraft Stampy Flat Challenge: Crazy Scuba Mask!

Hello this is stampy and welcome to a minecraft let’s play video and another video in the uh the stampy flat challenge and i woke up on another morning oh did you see that i saw an enderman and every time i see an enderman i need to go and track them

Down of course to get my eye vendors and oh don’t do this don’t do this please stay say look look at you in the eyes aren’t they supposed to attack you oh there’s another whole thing is that they attack you when you look in their eyes and for some reason mine just totally

Ignore me when i look them in the eye like if you shoot a bow and arrow at them does that anger them like i know you can’t hit them i know like they always just teleport away when you try and shoot them like unless they like

Have nowhere to teleport to but yeah i forget it whatever it doesn’t matter it doesn’t matter i’m gonna get them eventually i got quite a lot of arrows and actually actually this reminded me am i an idea um i could set up a um a mob trap because there’s a couple

Reasons for that uh woohoo and that’s because uh yeah because um there’s two things that i really want like a lot of and that is gun powder and arrows and the reason i want gun powder is i thought that it would be a good idea uh to make tnt the reason for that

Would be a good idea is because i need to find strongholds and i need to find strongholds without any eye of enders and so there’s two options i have one option which is where i just keep digging and just digging in tunnels and hope i stumble across it which would

Work because i do have three strongholds so it’s not as preposterous as it sounds preposterous whatever you know what i mean it’s not as ridiculous as it sounds but i feel like a better idea would be to like travel around the world with loads of tnt and to like just pile

All of the tnt up and just make huge craters in the world and then that way i could just look down and go nope no stronghold here let’s keep going and just keep doing that like is that ridiculous is that a ridiculous way to try and find a stronghold but if

I if i set up a mob trap not only would it get me loads of arrows which is something that i definitely need uh for fighting both the wither and the ender dragon but also it would give me all of the the gun powder i need and of course

I have an entire like welds layer worth of sand so sand won’t be a problem so i think that’s a good idea so that’s probably what i’m going to do i want to get some um i want to get uh some more apples though and saplings because apples have become very important mainly

For going to the the never and in the last episode i had i can’t believe i still can’t believe it so um yeah i might as well spoil it because i’m assuming you saw the last episode if you’re watching this one yes i went to

The never in the hope to find maybe at least one with a skeleton skull and not only did i find one but i found two wither skeleton skulls in just like a couple minutes it was unbelievable and i looked it up online and like i looked up

Like the stats for like the chances of finding them and there’s a two point five percent chance that the the skeletons will drop a skull which means i got unbelievably lucky to find two not only to find one to find two so i i’m still a

Little bit shocked but let me just check that they’re still there and i wasn’t dreaming nope there they are they definitely do exist i want to make um i want to make some item for whoa uh some item frames maybe just to uh to put

Them on the other wall i think would be nice and oh do i have any eggs uh i was trying to make a cake i don’t have any i’ll hopefully i can let’s see if i can go find another let’s see if i can get some chickens uh in the the coop as

Well because i want to i want to start getting some more eggs mainly for for cakes but also just for for getting more feathers as well are there any chickens around here got some bones any chickens are you a chicken no that looks like a sheep uh well let’s

Just see if i got lucky and uh let’s see if there’s um uh one inside the penny so i got one chicken at the moment which is a really rubbish number of chickens to have because it means that i’m only ever going to have one and where is it oh

There it is hello he’s running up to me you can see my seeds let’s go give him the seeds anyway then i can’t uh there we go there’s his seeds he can go and eat them are there any chickens around here it’d be really good to to get one

In the the pen even if it’s all the way over here i think it’s gonna be worth it uh because then you know then i can just start the uh the breeding process and get as many chickens as i want and of course there are absolutely no chickens

Right next chicken i see i’m gonna get in the uh the pen but first let’s go get try and get some stuff done so um yeah if i should i do the mob trap thing should i do the mob trap thing i think i should do the model let’s do the mob

Trap thing so uh what i need to do to build the mob trap is i need a whole load of blocks and so what i was thinking of doing is i could um i could like start mining in just a direction uh like out of i guess whatever i want to

Build out of i guess because i’ve got down to that wood layer now i guess the best thing to do would be to kind of mine well i guess chop the wood in a direction because then the each like block of wood i can make into um

I can make into two loads of uh of like different separate blocks and so then that way i can use that to make the uh the mob trap and i can also uh start digging in an area and hopefully find you know find something an abandoned

Mine shaft a stronghold a dungeon any of those things would be really handy so there we go that’s the plan i just got some lever as well and that is to to make some item frames just so i can start putting some item frames up with

Just uh anything that i can find i want to put the uh the wither uh skeleton skulls in one but i can’t make any cake yet hopefully i find some chickens at some point in the episode or at least an egg somewhere all right then so let’s go and make um

Uh some item frames i guess i might as well make all of these into item frames uh so let’s go and make some of these then i’m going to make sure that um uh yeah may see if any apples have have dropped and i might as well put the

Wheat and the the milk away maybe i should have a chest just for things that i need to make cake seeing as it’s so important let’s go and start just putting some of these item frames up here i just do it like that so it’s symmetrical and uh i

Put in the um i put the ender pearls in and then the wither skeleton skull so there we go i got two of the uh these and uh two of the the ender pearls as well not bad not a bad start so uh let’s

Go and empty out my pockets a bit and i should probably make some um uh some more things so i want to make some more pickaxes well i guess i need to make axes actually as soon as i’m going to be chopping through the uh the wood uh so

Let’s go and i also want to finish off this i keep delaying it but i do want to uh to finish off that thing there and are there any eggs any eggs any eggs oh that’s one there’s an egg in the corner i think i think the chicken was hiding

One there we go i can make my cake i just want it to be even if i’m not going to eat it now i just want it to be there waiting for me to get home you know like if you get home and there’s no one there you just feel a bit like

Lonely it’s nice to enter a house and say hello to something or yeah or someone i guess uh so yeah i want to do that with the cake i want to come home and be like honey i’m home and then go yum yum yum yum yum and eat the the cake

What else i need the sugar as well there should be some sugar in here there we go so let’s go and um uh make the camera tell us let’s make that the cake chest now shall we uh let’s put it uh let’s put it right next to my bed seeing as

It’s the the most important thing so this is where all of the things that are needed uh to make my cakes can be and there we go pride of place in the the middle uh there is my cake so goodbye cake i’ll i’ll see you later on bye

As i say i am going to finish off that podium at some point i don’t want to do it yet but i’m just not in the mood i’m just not in the mood to do this all i need to do is gather up some more emeralds and lapis and stuff and then i

Can finish it off i might build some of that out of redstone as well uh just seeing as i got uh so much redstone i think that would make sense uh yeah but now let’s go down to the wood layer so i thought i’d do the um

Uh the wood layer uh because yeah i can get loads of wood from it of course i don’t know i didn’t check if there’s apples or anything nah i forget it ah that’s fine i’ll get more later on anyway uh yeah i thought i’d go to the

Wood layer one because i can get loads of blocks from it but also because um yeah because uh i can probably dig quite quickly as well and it’s also quite low down which means i’ve probably got a better chance of finding a stronghold but what direction should i go to

Because i’m near the edge of the world there we go this is probably about the perfect direction to to go through because i’m like going like inland i don’t want to be uh just going to the the edge of the world i said yeah let’s

Go and start digging i got uh i got plenty of torches on me as i can keep the place lit up and as soon as um i want to go as far as i can i might as well uh just dig a one block thick i mean what i could do like if

Fire spread was on well i could just burn it all if i just burn all of this wood away then then you know i could i could just see the uh the entire world this part because i i thought as well that maybe in the water layer i could look around and

Maybe see a stronghold but i didn’t see any and i think it’s because i think that layer’s too high up i won’t be able to see anything there because the way this stuff spawns in is it doesn’t matter if there’s blocks there or not like you could set up a super flat world

Where you have like one layer on the surface and then just nothing underneath just air but all of this stuff would still spawn even like um like ocean monuments like if you if you set the biome to be like an ocean and then you just said it so there’s no

Water but it’s just a normal super flat you just have like a massion a massive ocean uh monument but just like sticking out the ground it’s really cool and so i’ve actually already been doing some serious thinking about a future stampy flat challenges and kind of ways i could

Do it differently there’s so many different ways you could do this challenge like if you set up the world differently each time it would be like a completely different thing so so let me know what you reckon would you like to see more of these like i don’t think i

Do i think maybe like a trio of them might be good quite fun but maybe with different challenges i think it would maybe get uh will start to get a little bit boring if i was always just trying to do the same things like get to the bottom defeat the ender dragon defeat

The wiver boss like i think if i was only ever uh trying to do that eventually it would start to to get a little bit boring so maybe i would uh i would shake things up a little bit and have different challenges but like what other challenges could you have really like

Maybe maybe like to get one of each different type of block like you could maybe set one up where there is literally one of every type of block could be a challenge but then again you’re kind of just mining like kind of battling the the bosses is a kind of

Like uh quite a nice end goal to get it’s just a bit annoying because you can’t get the the blaze normally in the the super flat worlds is the uh the only problem with that anyway let’s how far have i gone i’ve gone like look at that

It looks really cool it’s nice because normally you’re digging a tunnel and there’s like holes in the area there’s gravel and dirt and stone and stuff and it looks all messy this is just like perfect it’s just like it looks like a hotel it looks like a hotel corridor

I’ve just been building especially with like this this birch and stuff and i realized i’m not actually i’m not actually dug down below this layer either should i have a peek should i have a peek at what’s coming up next shall we let’s just dig down a little

Bit down there oh okay so there’s the other type i think that’s like the uh the other types of wood that i don’t have which is cool because it means i can build out of them as well and then we have oh look oh it’s coal ah

That’s quite nice actually this is this is the uh this is the coal layer i think is that like stone uh again uh underneath there okay uh this is quite handy actually i might as well gather a little bit of this uh just as soon as

I’m down here as let’s just go and grab a little bit of that i don’t need it too much because the good thing is as soon as i’m getting all of this wood i can just use it all to make char colder as well so i don’t need to worry about that

Too much but i think any time i need to gather like a bunch of blocks i might as well just do it like from this corridor like even if like i’m building like digging higher or lower trying to get different items if i do it from here like i’m just going to be

Continually digging further and further in this direction and hopefully just stumble across something because obviously the thing that’s making it harder even though like dungeons and stuff are quite common uh with this setup uh like because there’s no caves like you normally find these things by from caves don’t you you’re rarely just

Digging down into them like it happens i’m sure it’s happened at least once but normally you’re exploring a cave and then you find a dungeon or an abandoned mine shop of course there’s no caves and there’s no real way to to get caves a in a super flat so you’re always kind of

Just just digging i think the doing it through this uh this wood way is the best way i think it’s pretty quick especially if i eventually uh get a diamond pickaxe then this is going to be even quicker i could even and maybe set up like a minecart track so i could get

Down here quickly like it’s nice because like anything i need if i need a bunch of iron if i need a bunch of you know cold if i need a bunch of anything like i know just i can go to the layer and get as much of it as i want which is

It’s really handy it’s just nice to uh just to not be running out of of any other of these things so this should probably be more than enough wood then i’m going to to need to to get my mob spawn so let’s just go a little bit further i’m always

Scared that like when i stopped digging like i was just on the verge of finding something so let’s just go just a little bit further just in case so let’s do let’s do another 10 rows shall we and then we call it quit so one two please be something three

Four imagine if it was on the temp that would be amazing five six come on please seven eight nine is there going to be something behind here and no i kind of knew there wasn’t but that’d have been amazing if there was let’s just have a little oh i got excited then

I was like oh look there’s emeralds like oh yeah of course there is there’s emeralds above me all the way up there let’s just do a little dig up uh just to make sure like i haven’t been just underneath something uh because that would have been annoying and nope they

Seem to be all of the the normal layers so sadly uh we didn’t find anything i’m a little bit disappointed how far did we go actually let’s have a let’s have a look at the the map and let’s say we went we went a decent amount and it’s

Good because we’re kind of filling the the map in a little bit more as well by doing this so we went a decent distance but sadly uh we didn’t find anything and oh yeah if i do this oh sorry if you do like the weird jumpy technique it absolutely destroys your uh your

Hunger but you’re able to go really fast i don’t know if you know this like if you sprint and then you keep just like pressing the the jump button as fast as you can you go and go really fast maybe i should be digging on the layer above ice because

Then i’d be able to go even quicker so here we go this is a back to where we were and yeah let’s go and start doing a bit of work on the mobs one actually seeing as i’m here i might as well go and gather up some more of these uh these

Emeralds and uh some of this uh lapis just so i can build out of it so i don’t think i really need that much more lapis uh but yeah i kind of need to gather it while i’m gathering the emeralds let’s just get that done shall we i’ve been

Putting off for a long time let’s do that be cool and it won’t take long at all so let’s go and get that done and then we can start doing a serious um oh yeah start thinking seriously about what we want our mob trap to be so i want it

To be i want it to be automatic i want to get some hoppers and i want to build them and i want to just be able to leave the mob trap there and it just to do its thing and i don’t even need to like think about it that’s what the the plan

Is because um oh yeah because then that way uh like all i need to do is just when i’m about to battle something i can just go there and just get all of the the arrows i need which is the the motor the most important thing and then like the gun

Powder as well because then i can do my tnt technique and i think that will be i think it’ll be a more effective uh way to to be able to um uh yeah to find the strongholds and stuff and also just a lot more fun it

Would just be a lot more fun than digging big straight tunnels because you know you’re blowing up the world and i can’t think of many things that are more fun than just blowing up the world so let’s just go and gather up these uh uh these emeralds cause they’re not because

You only get one emerald per emerald ore uh but with the the lapis you get loads so it does take a lot longer to get the emeralds there we go that will be fine however many emeralds i’ve got will be fine for for what i need to do so yeah

Let’s go and head back up to the uh the surface and uh i got the cake to look forward to as well don’t know and yeah let’s go and just sort out the uh the never portal because i do need to go back to the nether like i got all

Excited about getting the uh the two wither skeletons and i kept shouting about oh how lucky oh and yeah i kept chatting about how lucky i was but i have no idea how long it’s gonna take to find the next one like it could be a case if i found them really

Quickly and then it’s really hard to get the next one so hopefully i’m keeping my fingers crossed that my uh my luck continues and i’m able to to get more and oh no i didn’t get lucky there i didn’t get an ender pearl from the uh the enderman sadly but uh it doesn’t

Matter and let’s try and get safely back to our house even with all of these lights everywhere there are googlies all over the place so let’s go inside here and let’s get to sleep and hello welcome back cake well i guess the cake should say welcome back to me it’s nice

To see you cake and even nicer to eat you right there so let’s make um let’s make this lapis and emeralds uh into blocks then shall we so lapis lapis lapis lapis lapis lapis and then emerald emerald emerald emerald and i only made five i already made five blocks from all

Of that do i have any more in here i got uh is that gonna be enough actually yeah that’s gonna be enough to make at least one more then i got some more lapis here yeah so i’ve got plenty of lapis lapis isn’t either problem uh it’s kind of

Just the the emeralds let’s go make uh these into that that’s another block i can make there and i can actually let’s add some redstone in because i got so much redstone and i got 54 blocks of redstone so let’s make the most of it because i’m never going to use it for

Anything else and let’s let’s try and make this look cool shall we uh and let’s go and yum yum yum yum yum yum and have a bit more cake first as well shall we all right then are there any endermen just for starters plenty of creepers but sadly

Uh no endermen in sight let’s go and take out this guy because i know he’s gonna get me upwards the good thing is i don’t care like if it blows up that much because it’s only going to just like destroy the ground there anyway and let’s go and grab that arrow and let’s

See if i can charge it like it’s funny because i’m always like really cautious well if you just charge it and keep swinging like even with an iron sword you just destroy them it’s very uh very handy let’s take out the spider as well uh right then so let’s do um

Let’s do this same pattern on the other side just for starters so we got like two emerald blocks in the uh the middle i think it is so they go like there and there is that the middle uh that looks pretty good and then one there and one

There so that’s how the uh the pattern is there uh so i haven’t got many emeralds left so let’s go into let’s just try and cover the portal now uh with the the redstone up the the sides like this uh does that look okay that looks all right

Let’s cover the esg let’s do the top then with lapis and emeralds again so i’ve only got two emeralds left and i cannot be bothered to grab any more so let’s just do um let’s just do it slightly different let’s just go like three in and do an

Emerald there’s well there’s two in i guess and then the emerald from the edge and so where’s the edge of the portal is it from the edge of the portal yeah i think it’s like here it should be so let’s just go and do an emerald uh there

Uh oh no wrong place an emerald there as well and then let’s just fill the the sizing with redstone and then it’s done and then it’s gonna look good like i know it’s gonna look good i don’t know why i’ve been putting it off so much uh

I don’t know i just feel like you know when the choice is like going battling in the nether and destroying the beasts or decorating a portal i always choose for the more dramatic options so let’s go and fill that in there and i guess i just need like let’s

Just have this as an opening uh so i can actually jump up oh yeah because otherwise i’m not going to be able to get in so there we go that’s like my my little staircase uh so i can get in there and then now let’s just go

And fill up all of these i’m actually am i going to run out of redstone uh i don’t think i i think i’m going to just about have enough i thought i had like endless redstone actually no i might relax i need to fill in all of this as

Well there was some more redstone dust in the uh the chest so hopefully that is going to be enough so how many more do i need three more pieces of redstone to finish my design i think that there was definitely enough redstone uh redstone dust to be able to

To make it like i was saying about how i had an endless supply of redstone look at that i actually ran out and let’s finish off the cake don’t mind if i do and let’s go and make this into the uh the red stone block is

It here yep here’s the redstone block so there we go i made another six uh blocks of redstone hopefully i don’t end up needing redstone for anything in the uh the future and this does look cool you gotta admit it does look pretty snazzy look at that that looks awesome actually

Doesn’t it i think that is really cool that is a a very funky and never portal so there we go i’ve decorated that for no reason whatsoever other than i wanted it to look pretty cool it looks like um it looks a bit like a like a scuba

Diver’s helmet a little bit which wasn’t the look i was going for i will be honest but it’s kind of the uh it’s kind of the the look i ended up with and are there any chickens around here uh i was hoping to find some chicken actually

Let’s go and have a uh a quick look and see if i got any any saplings i kind of want to i kind of want to empty my pockets a little bit though because they are getting uh a little bit filled up and what i guess i should do as well at

Some point is i need to make more chests because i just got all of those different types of wood and none of them have chests well what i could do is here how about i take the uh the lazy option and i do this and say this chest

Here is for all of the different types of wood is that fair enough because otherwise i’m gonna make a really big mess in this uh in this um storage room because i got so many different types of wood and i’m just going to ruin the pattern the

Pattern is so nice and perfect and it fits in perfectly so i think i think i’m fine by just saying i got one chest for all of the different types of woods let’s see if i’ve got any apples and saplings so i can go and gather them

Because i don’t want to run out of saplings because that would be sad because there is literally no way for me to be able to get any more of them and there we go there are a few uh lying around down here uh sadly no more apples

Though but let’s go and uh plant this uh this next jungle tree and go and start that growing so there we go pretty good progress in the episode i got lots of digging done and it might not have been the most exciting thing in the world but eventually i’m going to be

Digging and i’m going to dig into something useful which is going to be a very special day so i think in the the next episode uh the thing that i really need to do is to start building the uh the mob trap so i’m gonna kind of come

Up with a design for that and try and make it as efficient as possible uh so i can get as many goodies uh from it as i can get so yeah that’s what i’m gonna be starting in the next episode of course there will be a link down in the
