George not found knapsack and Rambo going hand to hand with the people you follow on Twitter now before you erupt in the comments just give me a second okay I think you should watch the entire video and hear what the story is before coming to any conclusion the behavior of

Fans ends surrounding these Minecraft influencers is not really the main story today I’m kind of covering a lot of stuff but I do want to touch on it because of a lot of stuff that’s happened in the past week despite the reputation we have we can assume that

Not every Minecraft stand is toxic and aggressive we can actually assume that most of them are probably pretty normal people but that doesn’t exempt a loud part of these influencers audiences from having a bad history with the way they act on the internet the other day I

Tweeted a joke about the video that I’m making right now I I said something along the lines of I’m going to cancel George not found from Minecraft to most people especially people who follow me this was obviously a joke if I felt like I actually wanted to cancel someone or

Whatever I wouldn’t tweet out that I’m gonna do it I don’t really consider myself someone who tries to cancel people I just try to hold people to normal human standards and sometimes that means they shouldn’t be on the platform in this case that’s not what I’m saying I was just making a little

Joke but overnight fans of George not found flock to my tweet and had a meltdown over the idea of me making a so-called drama out of this situation that people have been asking me to cover for a while now so in the past week a big influencer by the name of George not

Found in the Minecraft space has been getting himself into hot water now listen my job at least on this channel is to cover weird news stories on the internet does it despite how serious or not serious they may be that’s kind of my job it’s what I enjoy doing I made

One sarcastic tweet about someone that these Minecraft stands like and suddenly I hate cancer patients women orphans now I think this is kind of a rhetorical question but uh was my tweet too Ultra aggressive was it too much to people who know who I am was that like crossing the

Line I had a lot of people coming to this tweet until telling me that there was this misinformation campaign against George not found and if I make a video about this despite what my stance may be I’m going to overshadow the charity event that all of these massive

Minecraft streamers are taking a part in we will talk about the charity aspect of the situation in a second but let’s continue now I do believe again most Minecraft stands are probably cool reasonable people um but geez like I have been accused of of a lot of crazy things in the past

Couple days I had people saying that I’m just like a clout hungry YouTuber who needs to cash in on Minecraft drama and I’m just gonna stir up the drama so I can make money off of it and when I heard these takes and I’ll put some of

The tweets up on the screen but I try not to use Twitter that much because I constantly have like random people harassing me but I actually went and checked how many videos I’ve made since the last time I talked about Minecraft influencers or anything surrounding the

Dream SMP and I have made over 64 videos and that’s just on my my second Channel that’s not even talking about everything else I do so thank you very much for assuming that but I am making enough money off of talking about like tattoos and cake I don’t need to try to grift

Off of Minecraft drama so I tweeted I’m gonna have to cancel George not found for Minecraft someone responded said Nick George didn’t actually do anything wrong don’t listen to the insane amounts of misinformation and then I replied because I was interested I said not taking aside but you have a good source

For it being misinformation and immediately the replies to that tweet are IDK maybe do more than five minutes of research do you have a good source bro you’re supposed to be the commentary YouTuber you do the resource it’s called watching the actual stream yeah watch the stream watch the VOD excuse me that

Is what I’m asking I’m asking you to help me with the research I’m I’m giving you the Olive Branch or whatever the [ __ ] and I’m saying hey you claim that there’s misinformation do you mind linking me to a source for that um and the response to that is

Immediately like isn’t that your job yeah it is this is part of my research it’s looking on Twitter and seeing what people are saying about it so I’m asking you for the source so I can make the video that’s what I’m doing so yeah I continued to get all of these things and

All of these messages saying that I’m like defacing this charity all of a sudden and that I am just trying to spread drama to to spread hate but if you were the George knot found stands and he is getting accused of all this misinformation don’t you want people

Like me to look into it and actually try to spread the truth because right now there’s a lot of people who don’t like it it’s pretty easy to not like him there are plenty of people who have made the case against Me That by me talking about something that is tied to a

Charity event suddenly I’m being disrespectful towards the charity in reality when I am giving news and I’m talking about something the point of talking about internet news is to talk about what’s happening you know people try to delegitimize the idea of people talking about news and drama online as a

Job that isn’t as serious as like a regular journalist on a cable news television program the fact that people like me can individually make videos that are getting more views than local TV networks is something that should be celebrated it’s it’s freedom of press and journalism all we can hope for in

This world is that we have people talking about news stories who don’t have an agenda to appeal to a certain side or to make up lies just because they have a corporation that’s telling them to do so I don’t have anyone telling me how I need to be giving news

To people I don’t have some evil Corporation hanging over my head forcing me to talk about these videos um it’s just what I’m interested in and I will get back to that the charity is linked below but I want to talk about it in a second the point I’m trying to make

Is that I’ve been in hate campaigns with the Minecraft stand communities multiple times they type in keywords into their search bar they seek out harassment of anybody who’s tweeting about the minecrafter that they like anytime there’s the slightest bit of controversy you can bet that all of these people

Will come out of nowhere who have never seen your Channel or what you do before and they will fill your Twitter for days with hate over something that hasn’t happened yet here’s the video and it really makes you wonder if all that harassment can be tied back to the

Creator and if they should be responsible for breeding this kind of culture or if influencers just have huge audiences and kids will be kids and people will unfortunately be doxxed and then there’s just nothing we can do but there is a place where it has to come from these kind of communities don’t

Just come out of thin air today I’m going to try to answer that question of how much responsibility the influencer really has by looking into the big online fight that has been going on surrounding this charity event for a late Minecraft Youtuber by the name of technoblade who passed last year after

Battling cancer and for the most part this charity has turned into this weird Civil War of sorts between fans and ex-fans of this online creator that we know is George not found like I was saying before a lot of fans of George have criticized the idea of me making a

Video about drama surrounding a charity now personally I don’t really see how talking about something that happened during a charity event is going to negatively affect it I have no ill intent towards technoblade or his dad who’s running the charity I’m going to link the charity below and if you want

To get involved I think it’s a great cause I’m going to be be donating 500 myself so feel free to turn the story into something a little more positive especially if you think that my only reason to be making this video is just to like spread lies about some guy I

Don’t even know okay I don’t have another agenda but it makes it really hard to tell those stories when every time there’s a peep about a Minecraft person there’s this tsunami of teenage girls who come in and tell you that you need to kill yourself now if you

Disagree with my stance on the charity thing I can see how you could say that I’m like profiting off of it or whatever but this is my job and I’m gonna talk about what people think I should talk about when it comes to the internet if you disagree with that that’s totally

Okay you can continue to watch me you can hate me um maybe I’m wrong but I do want to at least get the facts straight and talk about something that I think is an interesting story George not found is a British Minecraft Youtuber who is 26 and

He is dreams best friend if you don’t know dream he is the biggest Minecraft influencer in the world right now he had his face reveal last year and he has a big subject of a lot of controversies um online now I originally got into this story because I saw this tweet that uh

Was linked to a video the Tweet says I need him gone I’m so serious and let’s watch this video of George talking about the donations coming in for this cancer charity event look at all this money imagine all this money went to me instead that’d be crazy

Now the claim that people were making is that George made a joke about the charity money in this event that he’s taking part in people from all around the Minecraft Community seem to Dogpile onto George and it gave me the impression that a lot of dream SMP

Stands are not a big fan of him now give me a second to go through all this information because there’s a lot going on here and any misstep I take will turn me into Enemy Number One on Twitter we will touch on all the facts you just

Gotta give me a second and remember at any point in this story if there is something that you don’t think I covered correctly or you think there’s some context please comment it below I will give it a heart if I think it um helps to tell the story or if I think it’s

Funny and you can kind of make sure that everything I’m saying is being fact-checked now the main accusation in this situation as I understand it is that George was using his soundboard to play sound effects during the charity event and many claimed that he did it during a speech that technoblade’s Dad

Gave during the stream and I’ll show a clip of that now uh yes George don’t do that it’s annoying that’s not me it wasn’t me it wasn’t it was it was more than just me it was other people too okay I don’t know I didn’t see uh-huh [Applause] George this is for charity George George of the Jungle event that’s cool but I didn’t do

Anything it wasn’t me George come on George I’d really come on man now these clips don’t look good for George initially okay if you look at the responses on Tick Tock and Twitter people are pretty fed up with him and it seems like this is sort of this continuous situation where people have

Less and less of a tolerance for the way that he acts online soon after I saw another clip of George being interrogated during the charity stream about whether or not he is donating his own money to the charity as someone who is a very popular and very rich influencer online this interrogation

Comes from his own friends who are also taking a part in the event I’m gonna show the clip but it’s pretty hard to watch without the surrounding context come on man George so how much have you done it yeah giving you like a you know multi you know yeah um wait

Not a lot of sounds now George you’re talking about stuff feeling real disappointed in you I’m not feeling it yet but I’m about to get there tell me before the event that he didn’t plan on donating anything I’m incredibly disappointed yeah George is I can’t believe it honestly I feel like

We were all fine until George joined the call and said he hates charity like that’s when that was a weird moment of the call that I was there yeah better dad you just tell us when you want us all to like we’re ready for the speed we’re all ready okay everybody

So it’s time it’s time for the speech doing no sound boys okay and how’s my how’s my volume level can everybody hear me I’m recording this after the fact because I continued to watch more of the stream as I was editing it I kind of looked farther

Forward and backwards of what was going on and I’m actually more sure now that a lot of this wasn’t a joke a lot of the uncomfortability of it all you can hear I think it might have been AMC saying The Vibes we’re giving off the energy we’re giving off or whatever you can

Tell they’re trying to spin it into a joke because they’re in front of tens of thousands of people but I do think as someone who has been a streamer in the past who have who’s been a part of streams where certain things are awkward this definitely uh gave off a vibe that not

Everybody was super happy about it and apparently Tommy in it the guy the main guy who’s sort of like prodding him about it was really good friends with technoblade so even though there could have been jokes in there there’s a lot of fans who are saying that Tommy in it

Definitely didn’t seem like he was being completely sarcastic about everything he was saying and especially just the silence and everything Given In The Stream it is not a good look and even if it wasn’t supposed to come off that way there should have been some clarification now

I want to touch on some of the other controversies of George and perhaps the s p as a whole but let’s talk about the refute to this claim here because it’s pretty interesting when you start to hear the other side of it now it took me a while to find this information because

My DMs and mentions on Twitter were just mostly filled with people harassing me over my tweet of course this isn’t the first time that Minecraft stands have tried to end my career by saying that I’m racist misogynistic or just like a clout hungry Goblin now may I remind you

That I would be making way more money than I am right now if I actually was a racist misogynistic clout Goblin I wouldn’t be making a video about some white man who has so many Defenders online that I probably will get my address leaked after I make this video

Now the First Defense for George is that he didn’t interrupt technodad’s speech technodat is what technoblade’s Dad goes by he’s the one that’s running the charity and he gave a speech during the stream that everyone listened to now if you actually listen to the full stream George didn’t really interrupt his

Speech um it was kind of while he was setting up for the speech I’m in a really big room all by myself rejoin the game is the direction I have been given I’m in the game sorry I’m mute should I say something what should I say check this out I’m

Gonna play a soundboard is gonna be the greatest meme of all time no no reaction huh and during the actual speech there were no sound effects being made everyone was muted everyone was listening to his dad hey everybody Mr technodad here and if there’s one thing

I know about young people it’s that when there’s a big collection of them all together like this the one thing that they really look for is some Boomer to stand in front of them and talk for a long time before things can start so thank you everyone for coming especially

Situation to be in and people also showed this clip from the stream showing that other people were using sound effects as well before the actual speech started no response huh I see how it is okay that one wasn’t me that one wasn’t me that one wasn’t me Hello now that doesn’t explain why all of the other mine Crafters were mad at him but at least if you re-watch Tommy in its perspective of the stream it seems like he is at least joking with George it seems like it’s a bit they’re doing and

Tommy is trying to make George seem like a bad guy as a joke George don’t do that it’s annoying that’s not me George I watch your name we can see you do it it’s not me it is it was it was more than just me it

Was other people too okay who was it wait that’s right I don’t know I didn’t see uh-huh George this is for charity George Georgia come on George I’d really come on man George so how much have you donated given you like a you know multi-millionaire now regardless of

Whatever the true intention of this was if it was a joke with underlying annoyance or if it was just completely misunderstood it does seem realistic at least that Tommy is joking around with George about this even if some of the others in the Stream sounded like they

Weren’t very happy with it now there’s really no way for us to know if it was a bit for everybody or not but it seems like this whole thing could kind of be chalked up to a misunderstanding it’s kind of how you want to interpret that

But I don’t think that it either proves or doesn’t prove that George is like a bad guy or whatever so let’s move on we’re going to talk about the clip where he said that all the money from the charity is going to go to him look at all this money imagine all this

Money went to me instead that’d be crazy oh look everyone’s saying my name guys I’m not trying to I didn’t want to make this about me it’s not about me guys look I guess if it means more people donate then sure put my name in

It go donate guys I don’t have any money that’s fine because guess what just by watching the Stream and getting ads for example that money will then be donated to the charity thirteen thousand dollars and it’s all going straight to me okay I’m actually I’m gonna say that was

Definitely a joke because I don’t want people to think that and donate less that was a joke that was a joke it’s not going to me the cold okay wait we have an answer a lot of people thought that this was an offensive and a bad joke to make about a

Charity that’s in the name of his late friend but that is kind of up to you the viewer how you want to interpret that uh lots of fans of George came to his defense and showed this clip from before that moment where he talks about the charity and he urges people to donate

And even says he’s going to put the donations from his stream towards that charity you should give it to the instead of giving me the subs you should donate to the charity stream but I will also be taking the money from this stream and giving it to the

Charity but twitch also takes some of that money so just give it to the charity instead it’ll be it’ll be easier well it’s not even easier just less money goes to the charity if you give it to me so just give it straight to the charity now personally I don’t

Think this on its own is cancelable at all I think that clip was a joke that a lot of people thought was in bad taste it was taken out of context and I get how a joke made by some guy can end up becoming something way bigger than it is

Um as usual I think Minecraft stands blew this out of proportion um on both sides I think the people who were defending him went way too hard about it and took it way too seriously and I think the people who don’t like him uh tried too quickly to cancel him

And move on to the next guy now the clip where George is getting asked about whether or not he donated is pretty cringe it’s hard to watch I didn’t really find an explanation for that other than it was a joke but regardless of whether or not he donated the stream

Donations towards the event I feel like it’s just a bad move to sit there and awkwardly giggle when someone asks you if you like donated to a charity that’s in the name of one of your friends who died from cancer um I don’t know if it’s a good move to

Just sit there and like definitely make it seem like you didn’t donate and that you don’t want to donate um when your fans are obviously not aware that it’s a joke because a lot of them took it the wrong way George so how much have you done it yeah

Giving you like a you know multi yeah um if someone asked me a question like this I would never respond in a way that made it seem like I wasn’t taking the charity seriously or that I didn’t think it was a good thing to do but again all of this

Can kind of fall under a misunderstanding and maybe George felt weird didn’t know how to react these people are all people who have jobs where they sit at a computer all day and don’t actually talk to real human beings there’s a good chance that it was just a

Weird off-color joke and people didn’t really like it I’m not saying that that excuses it at all I’m just trying to understand from the other point of view how we get to this situation a lot of George fans came to his defense with all these situations with multiple threads

About the misinformation and they really really tried to show everyone and their mother that George is not a bad guy now personally I don’t necessarily feel like this makes him completely innocent in the eyes of a lot of people who don’t like him I think people were kind of

Waiting for a reason to not like a Minecraft guy and when this came up they took their chance so I feel like in a lot of ways it’s going to be hard to convince a lot of the other Minecraft stands that he’s not a bad guy because

It seems like despite all this charity stuff people were already fed up with him which I’ll talk about in a second regardless of whether or not these were all misunderstood jokes or Clips taken out of context there has been zero clarification from anyone about this and most people felt like George’s

Personality and the way he joked on its own was enough to dislike him and the fact that as far as I know I couldn’t find any instance of Tommy saying that what he said was a joke even after all this online drama so it is kind of tough

To feel like it was a misunderstanding when no one will talk about it and no not every influencer has to talk about every goddamn allegation and accusation that comes their way but when it gets this big and it causes turmoil for not just your fans but people that you’re

Friends with and all this stuff in in the community I think you should probably say something about it what I’m trying to say is that this whole thing seems mostly Vibes based okay I think there’s not enough here to Warrant the Meltdown that both sides of the fandom

Have experienced but the aggression from one side to another was bound to cause a split in the fandom in some way but that’s not the end of this confusing ass story because with the rise of talk about controversies in this community it has led to even more clips and

Discussions coming out about George not found one in particular was during this episode of the fear and podcast which is co-hosted by friend of the channel Hassan [ __ ] this was a podcast episode that had George on as a guest and during the show this happened I think you can

Take someone who at face value just a picture someone’s not interested in and then the way they are I disagree the best risk that you can have in the world the best rizz you can have in the world just go up and be polite courteous treat

Them like human beings and if they are into you have a normal [ __ ] conversation it was very painful last night watching my girlfriends dance and watch them see guys trying to like tap them on the shoulder while they’re dancing and then them act like they

Don’t see him and him continue to try to like yeah that’s that shimmy that brother’s starving he’s already cooked drunk and the they don’t know what they’re doing are you look now having this come from a 26 year old man who is very connected to the internet is a bit

Of a red flag for a lot of people I think even the idea of saying hey maybe this dude is just drunk and he isn’t trying to make the girl feel uncomfortable but he doesn’t really know how to act everyone knows that’s not an

Excuse for a guy to be creepy to a girl at the bar and even saying this in a one-off comment uh definitely raises a lot of questions about his character um I’ll play more context of the podcast to hear what else George has to say but as

An overall thing if you say something that gets widely misconstrued and suddenly people are accusing you of having these beliefs or these thoughts it’s worth it to at least level with them and talk about why people might be upset but if that’s something George doesn’t care about that is on him and

His audience and the culture around what he has created now that instance on the podcast hasn’t been as covered as I would expect it to but another instance that has been popping up a lot has been about George on another podcast called the yard which is co-hosted by Ludwig

Not a friend of the show can be if he wants but not a friend of the show right now he is an enemy of the show he’s not an enemy of the show he’s neutral now let’s watch the clip from the yard where one of his friends says this so what you

Guys don’t know about George is he’s like an actual that like if he wasn’t like my like really good friend I’ve known for years that I just would genuinely not be friends with this he says he says [ __ ] up [ __ ] he just he just skipped around

Saying best friend by the way I’m not gonna ignore it damn if I hadn’t known this guy for years and years now like I just would not talk to him have you seen the Pixar movie Inside Out like the core memories like George would take a core memory and just start peeing

On it now before I make a video that’s way too long analyzing all these different things I just want to say this if George is actually a piece of [ __ ] and if he doesn’t deserve to have a platform then that is also reflecting on his friends if there are real problems

Here that other members of the s p have an issue with they need to address it with him if they continue to let him have a platform while also knowing he’s a problem then they’re also to blame as well now the more realistic situation here is that maybe George is just a

Little Annoying and immature and maybe some of the people in the SMP don’t like him but also that itself isn’t enough for all of the mine Crafters to get together and have an intervention with George about his behavior in conclusion I don’t care enough about any of this

Stuff to consider George a bad person to slap that label on him I am not surprised that he has gotten criticism not only because of his fan base but also because of the stuff he said but I don’t think anyone should be losing sleep over this and I think the charity

Is going to be fine I don’t think that this drama is like overshadowing a huge event that raised a lot of money for some good I think that that continues to be a good thing that’s happening and I think both people on either side of the conversation need to stop caring so much

About it and stop making such a big deal about it you can’t let this stuff ruin your day now of course I’m still gonna have people who make the claim that I am just adding more harassment and more drama to this situation that should really be you know celebrating this life

And giving to this charity I would say that I am most definitely not adding more drama than the Minecraft stands have already done on their own I am not your enemy here I am like a mid-sized commentary YouTube channel I don’t have that real of an effect on a community

That is way bigger than I am most people are not not even going to see this video now this will probably be where I end the video but I do have a couple questions for people who are still dream stands or Minecraft stands but also who hate George

Um my question is do you think that dream also hates George I feel like standing the guy who is best friends with the guy you hate is a bit unproductive because dream wouldn’t be living under the same roof as him continually working with him if he thought that George was problematic and

This brings me to my second question if you think George is a bad person have you seen the [ __ ] that dream has done and the [ __ ] his name’s attached to I mean from horrible responses to allegations to a shaky past with his political belief to his apology about

The quackity [ __ ] that was like 30 pages long that I refused to cover to his history of responding to haters that inevitably got doxxed by his over aggressive fan base who never takes a break when it comes to defending him I don’t really care enough about George or

Whatever he’s done but one thing I will say is that with everything that has happened with dream I can’t say that I personally think he’s someone one that is worth standing or being a fan of a lot of the things that I’ve seen from dream in terms of him being an

Influencer proves himself to be someone who doesn’t know how to handle the heat and who also doesn’t know how to make people feel comfortable when they feel like someone that they love might be problematic or might be bigoted in some kind of way Minecraft stands cannot come

To my video and possibly make any claim that I’ve curated an audience that doxes and harasses people when the Creator you follow has had multiple accusations of creating an audience that reacts this way to allegations and drama it is absurd to me that people actually tried

To make the case that I was going to cause harassment or doxing or whatever with my video when they are all part of a fan base that is known to do that and that hasn’t been held accountable for it no matter how many times dream and

George and the rest of the gang say that you shouldn’t docks and you shouldn’t harass people it doesn’t seem to get through to their audience’s heads because I don’t think Their audience actually believes them when they say that they don’t like that stuff why else do Minecraft stands continue to act this

Way it’s not because you have a massive audience and a small percent of them is always going to be toxic and evil but it’s because that percentage of people who are toxic and evil truly believe that they’re doing you a favor by harassing and hurting these people in

Real life those situations are 10 times more important than whatever we’re talking about with George here today he might be annoying he might be unlikable that’s not something that is worth focusing on especially if you are a fan of these people that you watch every day

If you watch my videos you know my stance on doxian and harassment it’s very obvious I’m firm in the belief that it is a dangerous stupid embarrassing thing to be someone who goes out of their way to try to make someone else’s life online Harder by way of harassment

Doxing whatever it is whether that’s trashing their business with yell reviews harassing them on social media until they inevitably delete their account or outright finding out where they live and putting their family in danger these are things that have all happened because of this Creator and you

Can’t look anywhere else and wonder why these people exist besides the person that they’re watching that’s the common denominator of it all just saying after doxing has happened that people shouldn’t docks isn’t enough for your fans people need something that is straight to the point and very clear

From the Creator that they like and I don’t think a lot of these influencers do a very good job of making those boundaries clear when this video is over the drama ends here for me we are talking about Minecraft we need to get real and try to act human about

Something that happened without melting down about it and causing a massive rage on the internet over something that doesn’t matter I am not trying to downplay you know things that may have happened to to face this charity event or to deface technoblade’s name you know in general but the reason why these

Things become a big deal is because of the fan base there are not haters watching hours of Georgia’s stream to find one thing that he says wrong these people are always on they’re always waiting for that next moment and those are the fans that have been curated by

The Minecraft Community you guys are eating yourselves and unless the creators at least make a clear statement about it you are going to continue to have like infighting with your fan base you know what I’m saying anyways thank you for watching that video please leave
