If you ever wanted to know where minecraft ends and insanity begins, well, you’re in the right place. Welcome to the Void Farlands. In a video I made a couple of days ago, I talked about a mod called the “Cubic Chunks Mod” that effectively removes the height limit from Minecraft Entirely, which not only allows you to build above the height limit, but using the mod’s custom world generation settings allows for terrain to naturally generate well above and below the old height limit, but what you see here is what happens when you go down. Way down. 25,101,800 blocks down. Welcome to the Void Farlands. Welcome to the end of Minecraft. I hope you’ve enjoyed your stay. Let’s check it out. For those unfamiliar with the farlands, I highly recommend checking out a brand new playlist that I’ve included in the description below of a massive collection of my breaking Minecraft videos. But in a nutshell, in older versions of Minecraft or in modern versions with a small mod, the farlands are the product of the math that governs terrain generation Breaking down entirely. This breakdown occurs at 12,550,800 (twelve million, five hundred fifty thousand, eight hundred) (a big number) blocks away from the spawn point. Because minecraft isn’t truly limited on the x and z axis it’s always been natural to question the sorts of limits that lie this far out in Minecraft, but because of Minecraft’s internal height limit It was never really imagined that we would see the limits of the sky or the void. However, last year with Muzic Bike’s help in this video, I discovered that using vanilla Minecraft’s customized terrain feature you could bring a previously undiscovered set of farlands called the Sky Farlands into existence, and those exist with this mod! Teleport upwards 25,101,600 blocks or so and bam! there they are. With this mod you can access them and you can keep climbing up and up and up for upwards of a billion blocks or more But now let’s see the final farlands of Minecraft: the Void Farlands Teleport to negative twenty-five million one hundred and one thousand and six hundred blocks and there they are. I’d recommend setting yourself up with a Respiration 3 helmet along with some night vision if you’re gonna explore around here. So what’s going on here? (A lot) Well, the Void Farlands generate for the same reason that the Sky Farlands do, and as well as the normal Farlands. The math that governs terrain generation is breaking down entirely. Structurally, the void farlands are also very similar to the sky farlands, but filled with water instead of air. The tunnels that go downwards will continue to go down forever. So I mean, if you’re thinking of reaching the deepest depths of Minecraft in survival mode with this mod, best of luck to you! (You’ll need a lot of it) But do you think that’s the end of this video? Do you think that that’s all that I have to show off? [Chuckling] No! What happens when the edge farlands, Corner farlands, and void farlands collide? Well, I can only describe it as sheer and total chaos. I…(stutters) Wow, I don’t even know how to describe what’s going on here where these three monstrosities meet begins this crazy diagonal pattern, That, when you look a little further has all kinds of area missing from itself giving way to some of the most insane terrain generation I have ever seen in Minecraft! I’m so mesmerized with what’s going on here, that I’m gonna include an additional minute or two of me Just traveling around this insanity after the outro of this video. And for those asking, I have checked both the nether and the end but this mod doesn’t include the Farlands for either of those realms. But rest assured, what you would see there would be very similar to what you’re seeing here and again, If you want to see more videos where I break Minecraft in crazy and obscure ways, Then be sure to check out the link in the description down below! But anyways guys that just about does it for me for now.
