Minecraft: Super Mario Edition – Ghost House {3}

Hello this is stampy and welcome to a minecraft let’s play video and another video on minecraft super mario edition uh in this series i’m basically wandering around this amazing mario world which is in the uh the mario master pack and yeah i’m trying to find

All of the uh the music this well i’m trying to find as many of the music just as i can like if i find all of them apart from one like i’m not going to care about hunting over the entire world to find it i’m kind of just i’m using

The fact that i’m trying to find the the music discs as an excuse just to explore this world to be honest so this isn’t a guide to find them all like you’ve probably got more chance wandering around by yourself rather than watching this video because i’m sure you could

Find them quicker than me and i’m sure there’s probably like a million guides for how to find them anyway already so if you want to find them all go watch that if you want to just see me exploring and going wow this is cool then watch this

Again the last episode i went down there i went underneath the ship i found like a little secret area and i did find a music disc down there but i’m now like going and heading uh towards the uh towards the the desert and i found there’s a sand temple here and it’s

Really because it’s like a a normal desert temple like it’s not it’s not mario fight it just looks like a standard desert temple so all right i gotta be careful here don’t i because there’s gonna be um yeah there’s gonna be a bunch of uh of

Tnt and stuff down there so let’s go into uh try and break this away uh let’s try and crouch down and have a look uh i i need i need i need like if i make a pickaxe if i make a pickaxe then i’ll be

Able to dig down really well so tell you i might come back there in a little bit uh because hmm well i suppose i could make a i could make a wooden one couldn’t i let’s tell her let’s go grab a bit more wood and let’s just go make a

Wooden one like at some point i do want to make just a full set of tools at some point even if it’s just stone tools just to have them at hand there’s a few times where i wanted to to break something down and i’m just kind of punching it

Away so even though this isn’t a normal let’s play in terms of like you know i’m not setting up a house and a farm and all that stuff i am just exploring i think it would you know there’s there’s a few necessities of life in minecraft

Which uh it’s good to to have so i might go and focus on i’m trying to to do some of them and you could oh look it was an enderman i just got to see what the enderman looks like we are saying you could

Can i just use this word oh it’s a shy guy that makes sense because endermen are quite shy and shy guys i mean when they got shy in the name don’t they oh that’s cool yeah anyway as i was trying to say um yeah you could just use this as a

World like if you wanted to you could just load this up and just have this as your minecraft world like that’ll be totally fine that would actually be probably pretty awesome to to be honest so that’s something that you could do like i always prefer to kind of build

Stuff myself and uh kind of start from from scratch but you know if you’re just starting out doing minecraft and you kind of just want to to have a chance just exploring and looking around and uh and then start building as well with like a bit of help getting some of the

The first materials this is a this is a pretty cool thing that you could do right let’s go and uh let’s be careful let’s just go and dig straight down and then nerd pole on my way back out it’d be uh pretty rubbish to die down here so

Uh uh hopefully that’s not gonna be ha uh not gonna happen but what would be good i would be to find like some diamonds and iron and stuff uh just to make some of those uh those tools that i want so let’s break this uh away then

There’s no chance of me setting anything off and what do we have oh there we go some iron uh some gold ingots which are of course coins uh and a saddle as well let’s get rid of some of these minecarts because we don’t need uh all of these i don’t

Need uh that either uh let’s go and um i’ll keep the boat on me because i’m probably gonna need that in a bit uh i don’t need a redstone lamp and i don’t need i already need the compass too it was cool to find the compass i really

Don’t need this many bows either do i so let’s go and get rid of some of these bows and yeah see what else we can get we’ve got a bit more gold uh horse armor i might grab that in case i get a horse more iron ingots very very useful uh

Even more iron ingots uh i won’t i won’t need another saddle so let’s just go and grab one of them and uh that’s uh that’s it not not too bad overall so let’s use this uh this sandstone uh to go and pull my way back

Out of here and yeah let’s go and keep exploring the desert like i wanted to come here just because i found the uh the sand temple you know it’s kind of hard to see and ignore it i didn’t care too much because i care about the mario stuff like i’ve visited many sand

Temples and i know it looks slightly different because of the the different texture pack but i much prefer uh to go and explore uh kind of the uh the new custom built mario things rather than here but what i will do with the eye and i gave it is make some tools i’ve

Already got an iron sword so let’s make an iron pickaxe and let’s make i need to make stampy style boots and look at the armors oh the irons the frog one as well let’s let’s make her let’s put that down and oh no i’ve run out of iron now pretty

Much oh that’s a shame but i can make i think an iron axe as well and that might be another handy thing to have but there we go i got stubby style boots so they don’t look like stampy style boots but trust me they are stampy style boots

Right let’s sort out my inventory a little bit then so there we go i got all of my stuff in a row along there i don’t really need that wooden pickaxe anymore so let’s just go and drop that down there right then and let’s go and

Explore the the rest of the desert that uh the sun has come out now the sun the weird swirly sun is shining so uh yeah we can go into see everything that we uh yeah everything that we’re looking at as we go and explore the land so as i kind of

Mentioned in the last episode i’m kind of looking for the main thing the main thing that’s going to be in this area and i’m going to be able to explore i’m assuming there’s going to be some sort of castle or temple or some big thing that i can go inside and explore because

I think that that’s the uh the most likely place and then i’m going to be able to find uh one of the the musee dis and it looks like there is a normal village here it’s where they’re like they’re just the mashup of mario and minecraft like these normal famous

Minecraft things and then all of these mario things kind of just thrown on top of that as well but there is a blacksmith here so let’s have a look in there oh oh what a sh i just made iron boots and then i come around the corner and i find

Some more here anyway and i don’t even need iron leggings because i got diamond leggings so that could have been a really good blacksmith’s chest but sadly it just wasn’t very useful and uh this might be my thing you know i said i was looking for the big thing i think

That this um uh yeah that this uh this pyramid might be the thing i want and it looks like i’m gonna get locked inside as well i noticed that it was kind of a one-way opening on the other way in and it looks like of course uh we are going

To be doing a bunch of of parkour uh to jump my way up around oh no i didn’t mean to do that that was bad i struggled with the analog sticks a little bit more for some reason and like the way i normally play um minecraft is i’m a

Little bit weird but all of the uh the face buttons like abx and y and stuff i actually use my forefinger rather than my thumb to to press it but that’s quite difficult to do on this controller and so that’s why i’m kind of i look a little bit awkward when i’m jumping

Compared to them oh no oh it just kicked me out the other side was that it i’m gonna go back in there there must have been something else in there there must have been a chest or something did i run past it or is it just uh to get me

To the other side so it looked like there was a it looked like there was a bit of a warp pipe look around here can i not get inside of any of these i didn’t go up this way last time i came oh that’s just a shortcut i could have

Just skipped a bunch of the uh the jumping i guess there’s a wall pipe here so i go and let’s place down this here and let’s go and uh uh climb up and just see is there anything in here i can’t see i don’t i don’t think there’s anything else in

Here is that i mean there’s a crafting table and stuff at all okay oh look at the top up there it looks like there there’s like string there can i shoot the string does that break it no it doesn’t hmm shall i should i shall i go and like

Parliament down through the top and see if there is anything through the top up there nope oh i fell down right you know what i’ve done wait look oh look there’s a ladder leading straight up this way oh every time i turn around there’s a way

That i could have just skipped doing the uh the entire parkour it’s weird that it it leads me to there but there’s nothing around there let’s uh let’s go out the other side i was really hoping that there’s going to be a music disc and there still might be i might have missed

It but it looks like that this just might be uh something that uh that you just look around at oh look there’s a chest right on the top of it and oh no music disc but we’ve got a potion of fire resistance that will definitely uh come in handy judging by

This map a baked potato and a stone sword i don’t really care about the the stone sword as soon as i have an iron one anyway but uh yeah and that was pretty good and whoa there’s some giant booze over there it looks like there’s another huge castle in that

Direction i’m not finished here though i’m not finished with the uh the desert yet it looks like there might be a some more things ah but where does where does this pipe lead to i’m worried it’s gonna lead me outside of the other desert oh okay is this like a um

Another minecart track area it looks like it might be i kind of found in the last episode like a hidden minecart track and although it just leads me to another pipe around here there’s just so much there’s just so much all over the place i don’t know i fell down there let’s try

Make my way up i kind of need to run all the way back and then sprint forward and up we go oh i didn’t make it do i need to like jump at the same time or something it just didn’t launch me high enough like i’m holding forward i can’t

Make it it doesn’t launch me high enough i don’t think let me try one more time let me try and jump at the same time does that make me go any higher uh it doesn’t seem to be able to let’s um okay let’s just go and par my way up instead

Then let’s go and do this the old fashioned way that’s the shakes it’s so much fun getting bounced out of them it seemed to just not uh quite get me as high as i needed to to go then so where there’s got to be uh there’s got to be a music disc inside

Of this desert and ah this looks maybe a little bit more promising is this another castle aha i’ve done it i found a i found a desert castle let’s go and i’ll look down in here and just see what i can go and find inside of this area

Here normally though these castles are pretty dangerous there’s either dangerous parkour or a bunch of googlies inside so i got to be uh i’ve got to be careful when i head inside of here but let’s go and have a look around is it going to be lava park or oh okay looks

Like there’s parkour but not lava parkour to be honest i don’t care too much about lava parkour anymore because i got that fire resistance potion i’m always going to keep that there and just always have it at hand so if i do fall in the lava i

Can just go and use it really quickly and now it looks like i need to oh i gotta jump up to i gotta jump to that one first and then i need to go and try and jump to the uh jump to the ladder and i don’t know i did that i pressed

The wrong button i don’t know what i keep i keep getting confused between crouch and to switch view as well for some reason and i don’t think it’s any different but for some reason just uh using this controller i keep doing it differently but there we go i found my

Way to the top of the panel there is a chest and oh a diamond helmet and another iron sword i might as well grab that in case my other one break so that was good that wasn’t a music disc it wasn’t what i was hoping for i now look

Kind of ridiculous with this uh with this combination of clothing but there we go i was able to i was able to get something good at the end of it and this is also preparing me for when i do uh go back down to the other never if you saw

That episode where i went to the the never you saw it it’s very dangerous down there and i basically i i just died didn’t i so yeah it would be good uh to maybe head back there and now i’ve got some more of a of this uh this armor and weapons and

Stuff uh so hopefully i’ll be able to survive a little bit longer if i do go and head back down there and it does look like there’s um there’s a lot more things to jump around on here like it looks like i could jump my way up there baby and then i wonder

If i can make my way down inside of that so where where am i supposed to start from it looks like maybe over this way somewhere i need to find kind of like where i’d begin jumping from well i guess i can kind of just pile up a

Little bit oh no didn’t mean to do that i can pile up a little bit here and then try and get up that way so if i just go and grab some of these planks i can go up up up like that and uh if i just go

And pile across here it looks like i needed to start from that side but i’ve not been over there no actually i can’t even get from there up into there too what now let’s just pile up underneath the warp pipe and skip all of the

Jumping and let’s see if i’m going to be able to to get up that way let’s go and uh break this down here so i can go and climb up this way i always i always just got to keep reminding myself that this is this is minecraft not mario and that

I can i can basically do what i want in this uh in this world so is there any anything even down here it didn’t look like there was an obvious way to jump oh no there’s not even anything around here this is though a good chance for me to

Have a look around i kind of want to head in that direction it looks like there’s um a really weird land over on on that side so i kind of want to go and explore over that way and to see what’s more in that direction let’s have another look at the

Map so i’m basically uh trying to uh to make my way around the the outside of the world a little bit more so i guess i want to head in that direction it’s kind of handy having the um uh having the uh the map just a giant arrow so i kind of

Just point exactly where i’m talking about yeah let’s kind of head in uh in this direction over here first and to see what’s over there and then that way i can kind of try and like fill in the uh the entire map and then that way it’s

Going to be less likely either i’ve missed out on any of the other major things that there are to find so let’s go and climb up this way looks like we’ve found a bit of a forest i might actually i just go and cut down a few more of

These trees as soon as i have an iron axe now that’s going to be a much quicker for me to to go and break down all of these all of these trees and so that way i can just have some spare wood which is useful uh just for piling up in

Places but also if i just need to to craft anything it’s just good good to uh to have a bunch spare on me anyway so yeah let’s go and uh jump across these uh these tree tops and all this music again i just love this really happy

Music when it jumps in there’s like banjos and whistling and all sorts going on look at the giant mushrooms i don’t think about that actually there’s got to be a um there’s got to be a mushroom biome doesn’t there because that is just the perfect fit for this

It looks like is this is this a ghost house i think this might be a ghost castle and oh no i think it’s gonna give me some better weapons oh i don’t like that i don’t like it when they give me better weapons it means there’s gonna be lots of dangerous things inside

Right well luckily i’m a lot more prepared for this now so let’s go inside and uh yeah let’s see um let’s see what i can face oh is the whole door gonna open uh that’s quite cool right let’s go inside of the uh the ghost house then is

That a real door i wasn’t sure if that was a real door of a or a painting it looked like it was a real one and so the um the ghost houses they they’re generally more they’re generally more of puzzles aren’t they like the normal mario levels uh they’re much more about

Like the the jumping whereas the um the ghost houses are much more about solving puzzles it doesn’t look like there’s anything up there that way but there’s an iron door there so i can’t get through that i wonder if there’s going to be something else there that i can

Open in order to get through it’d be really good if it started playing the uh the ghost music now of course like the game doesn’t really know where i am so it doesn’t know it’s kind of just random it’s a little bit weird wandering around this house and just hearing like um like

Really happy jolly music in here at the background when normally you’d have the uh the really spooky music right i pulled that lever aha it hasn’t opened up this door it looks like this is going to be more of a puzzle area then compared to the uh the other levels i

Don’t know looks like we have some jolly music it looks like it’s that there’s a lever up at the the top up there it looks like i need to go up this way but i can’t i can’t get up there because that’s blocked off let’s look around

This way and see if there’s any way up there aha there is a door blocked off there and you can see there’s like floating chairs and stuff around here looks pretty cool so how am i how am i supposed to get up there then look there’s this like a life there’s like a

Life here isn’t there there’s a mario say well it’s just a painting i know aha do you think i need to turn this around is that going to do something uh-huh and look it made a stick oh that is so clever oh i know i keep saying it

But this is an incredibly clever mashup pack right and let’s go into let’s go and climb up this way then and let’s see if we can go and pull this uh this little i love this i love these kind of these puzzle levels like this uh i actually probably enjoy them uh more

Than the uh the normal jumping so there we go that should have uh hopefully uh opened up this doorway and it has right looks like we’re we’re now back to some of the other jumping i love it like these blocks are in the other style of the other really old mario games which

Is really cool and oh no we’re getting to the the top of this getting dark outside as well and there is a lever on the other side around here and oh if i oh how do i how do i pull that lever then because uh

I kind of can’t i can get to it oh look oh look from the other side there okay it looks like i went around the the wrong way i kind of got right next to it but i couldn’t quite reach it looks like i need to go around i think i’ve got to

Go this way and jump over here and then jump over this one like that there we go i can now go and pull this lever but i now need to try and work out what it actually did because i didn’t know i didn’t see any doors that needed to to

Be opened at all and there doesn’t seem to be anything else up here maybe i now need to go back down to the bottom of this area here because i’ve not been all the way down to this area yet have i have i been through here i don’t think i

I don’t think i have i don’t know if this is what i open though let’s go and have a little check down here and just make sure i’m not i’m not missing anything oh is this a slime block woohoo okay so that’s how i start the parkour

So i’m assuming then uh that that lever uh did open up this doorway here and allow me to to go down this way then so yeah now let’s go and carry on heading this way and just see what else it is it looks like there’s another wall pipe

Which is going to launch me up this way and then another warp pipe it all looks like it’s um it looks like it’s um setting me back outside i didn’t find anything though oh no oh it’s a little hidden area oh look there’s a little hidden area next to the

Uh next to the castle this is cool oh no there are spiders around here they aren’t pretty hot i don’t know there’s a um well i guess it’s uh i guess it’s a um a turtle at this point but it it’s essentially a skeleton as well let’s go

And grab this uh this chest and let’s get out of here as fast as we can oh no look another music disc i think i have averaged at least one user disc a music disc uh per um oh yeah per uh episode so far so overall

It’s not been it’s not been a bad success rate but this might be a good time to go and set my spawn because i haven’t done that in a little while i said let’s go and sleep here unless i leave that bed here in case something

Bad does happen to me i’m just going to go and end up straight back here and i might as well just go and throw down this armor soon as i don’t need it because i have you know the same or better armor on me anyway and it looks

Like this is the end of the level as well this is the uh the flagpole that you normally jump to to end the level i guess i can just go and tap it right then how do i how do i get out of where i am here then it looks like

There’s a little exit down this way and then hmm there’s a warp pipe but it looks like a it looks like it’s got piranha plants in it there how do i how do i get out of this little area then can i jump over oh there’s some some

Parkour in this direction is this a warp pipe down here is this like a real wall pipe or is this a fake one there we go this is a real warp pipe i reckon and that this is going to take me back out of here and over to over to to somewhere

New so is this going to is this a dispenser is this going to dispense a minecart for me there we go there’s a handy minecart dispenser right there on the wall oh no and a skeleton right let’s get out of it no go go move move

It’s much better to run away rather than to stay and fight i was fine okay so that didn’t take me very far so i’m probably uh still pretty close to the uh the desert area uh but let’s go and uh come out of this area here and see

Exactly where i’ve ended up oh no it’s going to launch me it’s going to launch me i’m going to go sky high that is absolutely amazing and here we go we’ve ended up just uh where i entered all that time ago when i went inside of the the so that was amazing

That’s probably been my my favorite single thing but insider of this mashup pack so far so uh let’s go and uh carry on uh heading in this direction then let’s just try and see where else i can find it’s kind of it’s kind of hard to see what’s around this area

Uh just because there’s kind of trees all over the place it looks like this is leading somewhere this way and we are right on the very edge of the world and if you look at it look how little of the world i have explored so far so i don’t

Know whether the entire world is filled in or not uh maybe it is maybe it is now spider knocked me down uh yeah so i’m assuming that quite a lot of it is filled in uh just judging by what i’ve seen so far but there’s a good chance quite a

Lot of it might just be uh might be water uh but yeah i guess we’re going to to find out so in the next episode i’m going to be heading in that direction and i think that is that ice is that supposed to be ice there i’m not

Entirely sure but it looks like that’s what it might be so uh yeah that’s where i’m going to be heading to in the the next episode uh sadly though that is the the end of this episode here and i’ll leave a link down in the description to
