Minecraft Survival Starter House Tutorial

Well hello everybody and welcome back to another minecraft video this is mythical sausage how is everybody doing man I’m doing so good hopefully guys are doing amazing cuz today I’m gonna be building this awesome starter house that you see right behind me I’ll fade it out we’re

In depth the field right now to give it a little bit of a cool new look and this is a really cool shader I’m trying now so there’s a link in the description go check it out and us BSL ashiness is super fun but also this starter house

Not just any starter house it’s the starter house that I made in my first days on my patreon YouTube supporter server you got a he’s gonna check it out just check it out it’s episode 1 we did it a couple days ago and it’s all set up

Take a look at this building and there it is look how cool so this is what I built in our feature on YouTube supporter server and it came out pretty cool we have crops in the back we have a section for animals in the front everything you need as far as a survival

Starter house is in here and it’s looking pretty awesome so I’m gonna show you guys how to build this thing block 4 block right now alrighty here’s the block pile that we’re gonna be working with so from left to right we’re going with some spruce pretty much all this

Proves first log plank stairs slabs trapdoors and fences bringing in some of the oak regular oak plank oak of the strip kind some compost some smooth stone or regular stone I think they call it now and a couple of things along the way as far as the dimensions here they

Are really super simple it kind of looks like an arrow going down way I don’t know we’ll see let’s start working this out we’re gonna start with our beams and we’re gonna lay it out in Kabul as the first bottom base but they start right here this is the front door section so

We’re gonna go with a beam right here let’s go up one two three four and five give it a cobble down here just one cobble there’s gonna be our front door so leave that open but I would put a cobble on the bottom cobble here and

Then along one two three four and five then we’re gonna turn this corner put one car take this log 1 2 3 4 & 5 then we’re going to turn this corner 1 2 & 3 and then we’re going to put this beam up 1 2

3 4 & 5 just like that then let’s turn this corner 1 2 3 I’m gonna put a beam this one’s gonna go up by 4 though so 1 2 3 & 4 then we’re gonna have cobble 1 2 & 3 and then we’re gonna go up here by 4 as well

Turning this corner 1 2 3 but a cobble down there and over here we’re gonna go with a 5 beam on this side I’ve got a pretty much mirror or we did over there over here so 3 more cobble 1 2 3 4 & 5 right here so 1

Cobble down 1 2 3 4 & 5 then we’re gonna go one two three with cobble 1 2 3 4 & 5 here 1 cob on this side up by 5 on this one cobble 1 2 3 4 & 5 and then here we’re gonna go up 1 cobble and here only

Gonna go up on 4 so 1 2 3 & 4 here 1 2 3 of cobble 1 2 3 4 with that log one little cobble here up by 5 on this one 1 cobble up by 5 again and then 1 cobble right there so we have our little

Outline going just like that now leave that one for now on the outside we’re gonna go ahead and do a little bit of an overhang for the animal pin on that corner but for now what we’re gonna do this is gonna be a nice mix we’re gonna

Be mixing a little bit of spruce a little bit of oak plank a little bit of stripped just like that and we’re just gonna be mixing it around and it could be in any random order doesn’t have to be exactly how I did it just there but

You could go ahead and do it if you want to but we’re gonna set it up just like this and then we’re gonna put a little beam just like so in the middle we’re gonna put a little fence for a window but it could be this exact order how I

Have it or just completely randomized so let’s do it over here as well so here just let’s put a mix something like so is perfect and a little crossbeam here I’m gonna go ahead and just put on one side we’re just gonna put our furnaces blast furnaces and all that on these two

You see here but for now let’s just leave this section open but I’m gonna put some stuff on this corner so let’s put one of those they see how about just two of those stripped these two though we’re going to say that for a furnace a blast

Furnace but we are gonna cross beam right here on this side then over here on this end we’re gonna go ahead and just lay up a couple things here let’s go up like so maybe mix that in maybe something like that and then we just mix

It here to pray in the blog so we’re gonna leave that as a flush wall here we’re gonna put a window so this lifts up a little bit maybe put a mix like so you’re gonna take that one more up and we’re gonna put a little upside down

Stair right there so it’s like a little bit of a higher window right here now here we’re gonna cover this up just like we’ve covered up here so let’s put another nice little mix right here maybe something like that maybe triple on that side that’s fine

Maybe another stripped and as to one of those and one plank yeah that looks good so something like this now over here we’re also gonna seal this up so this put a little nice mixture of stuff so this now pretty much just random texture just like so let’s see something like

That maybe a couple up top and another strip yeah it looks good across being that and then here we’re gonna go up and maybe set that up like so and then here we’re gonna put a window so let’s do one two one two it’s like a nice mix

Actually it’s mix that up a little more let’s put a plank plank another plank and a stripped yeah that looks good and it crossed me that and again this is completely up to you guys how you want to randomize it but that looks good like that

Just make it look as random as possible you should be okay so something like that then crossbeam then over here we’re just gonna go up again so let’s go one two one of those one let’s do stripped let’s go double let’s go maybe a couple planks

Hey oh no that’s too much let’s do someplace there you go and one and let’s drop that one right there yeah looks good and then a couple more to go let’s go right about there maybe one of these is take this up maybe a stripped let’s

Do a couple stripped and an oak yep and cross cross right there perfect so we have all this set up alright now this work on this roof I’m gonna go with some spruce right here and just take these stairs all the way around like so I’m gonna go with an upside-down stair

Regular stair upside down regular put an upside down here facing this direction and a slab on top then let’s go back down so it’s gonna go here upside down regular stair upside down and then once we get to this we’re just gonna curve it all the way around

Till we get to this point so it’s gonna overhang this a little bit right here then upside down stair regular stair upside down and then we’re gonna keep going till we get right to here this is the center which should be right here at this window put an upside down stair and

A slab and let’s go back down until we get to the same side on the other corner so we’re gonna go like this upside down regulus they’re here upside down and it’s there on this side then this is just gonna curve all the way around till we overhang right here then

This side it’s pretty poisonous gonna marry exactly what we did over here let’s go with an upside down stair regular stair upside down and then this one’s gonna go right here in the center we’re gonna go with a slab up top and then just mirror now once we get to this

Part we’re gonna pretty much mirror exactly what we did on the other side we’re gonna overhang that bit this part is overhanging and then we’re just gonna go up just like this until we reach the center point and it should look just like this when it’s done perfect Oh like

That and then we’re gonna put a little slab up top and this should be completely symmetrical from that side and this size should be kabylia symmetrical from this side here then let’s connect all these here with some stairs of our oak and we’re just gonna

Go all the way around like so this is gonna go all the way around this direction and we’re just gonna connect every single stair you see only thing is once we get to this part this thing is gonna go all the way back so this slab

Goes all the way to the end and they’re gonna put a spruce stair here and then this slab is gonna go all the way in meet right here at this point so let’s continue it on this side do it together so it’s gonna go all the way down this

Parts gonna go all the way to this section and then that’s gonna connect to that stair here then this part is gonna go all the way down and then should connect perfectly to that spruce there and then this slab goes all the way down and connects to that then pretty much

It’s gonna repeat what we did in the front we’re gonna do it back here and it should look like this so this is looking pretty cool from the top and from the side everywhere is looking pretty awesome now next up let’s put some slabs I’m gonna put slabs every other one just like

This then we’re gonna grab some trapdoors and we’re gonna place these trapdoors right in those little gaps then let’s continue it on this side so slab every other one trapdoors in between let’s go over here on this end and then again the slab slab all the way

Around and then trap in those little gaps in between and one more over here so slabs all the way around and then trapdoors in between just like that then on the inside let’s come to this side here see this little gaps right here we’re just gonna pretty much cover all

Those up with trapdoors so we’re gonna do it over here as well all right now let’s work on the roof out here so this one we’re gonna put some upside down stairs one two and three up to that point I’m going to go one two and three

And then we’re gonna just go ahead and do the same pattern of roof we did on the other side we’re gonna do it on this shorter one just gonna be a little lower and this should end right there then let’s go ahead and bring in these and

This is gonna be a little tricky to sneak in here we could break some stuff to get in but that should be easily replaced right there and then we’re gonna cover up this side two one two I’m gonna put one right here perfect and then this lab pretty much just continues

Down this line right there and then let’s put this back now we’re gonna do the same thing on this roof we’re gonna go all the way down so one two three four and five we’re gonna go this way one two three four and five and do the

Same roof on this side again now once we get to that point again the same thing we’re gonna bring in our regular old oak stairs and take those all the way down and this is should connect all the way to the end of the wall now it should

Look like this once you’re done and then come back in here and let’s drop our slabs and trapdoor combos underneath this little section we’re gonna repeat it on this side just like that and then we’re also gonna do it to the small section over here as well so one here

And there one in the middle and then do this again on this side now once we had that set up we’re gonna see there’s some gaps here that you can see through the wall and this little part right here so let’s go on the inside and fix that so

Right here we’re gonna put our trapdoor so one two and three and then we’re also gonna put our trapdoors on this side now this back part here all we’re gonna do is get some full blocks and take it down one two three one two one and two one and two one and two

This part just like that then we’re gonna do it on this side so 1 & 2 1 & 2 2 here two there and two right here now let’s come back outside and work on the little fireplace here so this is how we’re gonna set this up so right from

This side we’re gonna go up one two three break these off for break those off 5 6 7 8 9 so we’re gonna go 9 is pretty much right at the line where that slab is put our campfires and then we’re gonna drop our trapdoors surrounding it

Perfect just like this and then Downey we’re gonna make it a little bit thicker so let’s go up by 2 over here and it’s put a stair scooped up by one or the stairs sideways let me go up by one again put another stair sideways and a

Stair right there so that’s gonna be our nice little chimney from the outside all right now out here one like a little seating area that’s what I wanted out here so it’s gonna be pretty cool this what we’re gonna do here let’s grab some

Of the cobble for now let’s do it all in Kabul and then we’re texture after so let’s go one two three four five six one here one two three four and then one right here on the side then we can come in and add some slabs so I’m thinking I

See two slabs here let’s do three it’s the one up top four one on this corner it’s called two on this side and then we can also add a little wall on one of these and then we can put a light on that the girls will put all the light on

That one and then here we could texture by adding a little bit of regular stone or it all the way around maybe some stones here on the top and that looks pretty cool on this side we can also do a little bit of texturing just so it

Could be a little bit better look a little more rustic and rundown I can do something like that and maybe a couple more right there yeah that looks pretty cool so we have this little front yard set up all right now for the animal pin side have fences here

So one two three four put it on a full block here and put that down we’re gonna repeat it over here so one two three four this will block just like that we have three fence gates in the middle to let our animals in and then here

We’re just going to go up one two three one two and three then let’s grab our trap door and we’re going to put trap doors right here one two three four five like so and actually let’s face some see we can face him the other way but for

Now that’s fine we’re gonna take this all the way down to the end just like so this one’s gonna go all the way down to the end just like so right there and then we’re gonna grab our campfire block and put them right on the top actually

Facing this direction so one two three let’s put one in here one two three four and one two and three and then sit some water and it’s pull this out now once we have that I want to switch these so they can go forward like that let’s look a

Little a little bit better and then down here I want to cover up this campfire section so I’m just gonna go right here with our trapdoors and just seal up that little ashy part there then next up let’s grab some of our fence gates and

Go right on the top just to give it a little more support and this goes right to the end like that then one of the last things we’re gonna do is this put fences on all these windows so this would look pretty cool just like that a

Little added detail we’re also gonna put some trapdoors as a little shutter right next to the fences now back here we’re gonna do our little crop field area since how we’re gonna set it up so let’s go right from this block I’m gonna go

It’s just a cobble for now 1 2 3 4 1 2 3 1 2 then 1 here 1 2 3 4 1 2 1 1 2 just like that and then over here we’re gonna go 1 & 2 and we have a little 3 block gap entrance right there and then it

Just dress it up let’s put a couple slabs up here it’s gonna be randomized or something like so boy all the way around be a little bit bigger here and something like yeah that looks pretty good then you could have come in here and texture a little bit adding some smooth

Stone also a little bit of mossy would be pretty cool in the single-player I don’t have the mossy yet but soon now get in set it off later so something like that and just play around with the texture now a little bit of texture you

Can do is right here we have the cobbles in the main structure we can come back in later on and add a little bit of the smooth stone maybe a little bit of a mossy just to break it up just a little bit if you want but you don’t have to

But it looks pretty cool if you’re just breaking up a little bit so it’s not just all cobble a tiny little bit of detail I have here’s a little mailbox I put a wall and I put a little barrel on top I threw an oak trapdoor just to

Change it up a little bit that’s my bail box you guys want to drop anything off for me then a little detour did here I actually knocked this down and I have this beam going out by to put some trapdoors on the side like this a little stone button in the middle and

Then I dropped a little light just to give you a little bit of detail make a little more fantasy style now tiny little bits of detail you can do on the outside is add bushes add little walls so I do have random walls it’s kind of scattered around kind of like this and

It just breaks it up a little bit and I like it kind of looks like extra support to the house couple bushes here and there just add so much detail so you can pretty much just go crazy with it just adding in random spots like that you can

Bring in tall grass you can bring in ferns bushes extra stuff you just go crazy when you do this it’s uh this actually makes the whole place just pop even more so in here just laid out with crops you could come back in here and

Add a little bit more kind of like this and then bring a little bit more push then come back on that side and they just had so much just putting that little bit of detail on the outside look at that just a little bit right there now check this path out just really

Simple just a lot of course stir a little bit of gravel a little bit of podzol board all the way around and it’s looking so good now little things we can add would be barrels and chests on the corners like that for extra stores on the outside of definitely grass tall

Ferns tall grass would look pretty good and just scatter these just to make it stand out just a little bit but not too much I wouldn’t go too crazy just enough that if you pepper in a little bit it’ll just make it seem like somebody’s been

Living here for a very long time so something like this works out usually I put all the taller grass and stuff towards the back ends of things like this maybe a little bit more up against the walls like that behind that would look pretty good and then just scatter

Just a little bit around like so all right now that we’re in here I’m gonna put flooring here I’m just gonna put a mix of cobble and a little bit of smooth stone all the way around alright the floor is all done we also add a little bit of gravel patches in

Certain spots and it looks pretty cool now let me show you how I set up my interior now this is how I did it but you can change it up and do the interior however you guys want I actually didn’t use anything on this top level here you

Can make a second floor there’s a lot of space for I didn’t do it for mine let me show you how I did it though I went ahead and I put a beam crossing from this side to the next right here also another beam from this side to here then I added an

Extra beam right up against this wall and another beam here on this side now once we get to this part here I put a beam going down kind of breaking up that wall and another beam going down in the center breaking up that wall in the center bits right here I covered all

This up with a mix of different blocks so I’m just gonna call something like this and then come back here texture adding a little bit of our oak and maybe some strips in certain spots yeah something like that so we could do it again over here just randomly scatter

These around and it’s add a little more spruce there we go something like that they’re back here I covered this part up right here all the way around like so and also cover this part up as well and then we can texture it is just something like that maybe a little texture right

There maybe a little bit of oak that looks pretty good actually that’s symmetrical just a major chord let’s change this up so something like that perfect so we had this all nice and set up now next thing I want to do is just come on on this side I’m gonna put a

Beam I’m gonna place this beam on the inside like that that gets covered up then I’m gonna put a beam here and a beam right there and then we’re gonna grab our slabs and we’re gonna put those on the top I’m gonna get rid of that one

You can only see that hole here so I’m just gonna put slabs going down like this get rid of that and Stan’s going down like that so we have this cool little look to it on this end and then let’s come over here on this side the

Way I have this one set up is like so I wanted to put a beam going all the way up on this side one going all the way up on that side just like that I have a beam crossed right here right here another beam going down this direction

Then we can cover that up right there and let’s put our slabs going down again here another one going down here and another one going down this way just like that then for this one we’re gonna do another beam let’s do one going this direction and then I’m gonna cross one

Up the middle and then on the sides we’re gonna put our slabs like this just like that then I’m gonna cover this part up so let’s do this I’m gonna put down here let’s put two cobbles and do our little texturing going all the way to the top maybe changing some

Of those and bringing in some spruce looks good then I’m gonna drop one more down and I’m gonna put us there here and we’re gonna put a door to get in to our bedroom right on the side then let’s cover this part of the walls well I’m

Gonna put a beam going right up the middle and this should really pretty much follow up from that beam here and then we’re gonna do two cobbles and do a random texturing again on this side so something like that looks good maybe that has a good patch I like that

Then let’s put some stairs are gonna put one here and one right there and that’ll be our way into our kitchen area right here that looks cool then we’re almost done I’m gonna put some upside down stairs here one two and three one two and three just like that then I’m gonna

Grab some trapdoors put them underneath those underneath those and then I’m gonna drop some lanterns underneath that little middle gap right over here and over here perfect now I’m gonna go up the middle drop a log going down one and two then I’m gonna drop another light

Right in the center like that actually you know what let’s take it out one more so down one two three from the top and a light there yeah that looks a lot better and then let’s grab our trapdoors I’m gonna place some right on the top give

Us a nice little light hanging down like that I want to do a little bit of an archway here so with this one we’re gonna do it with actual slabs so let’s go one two one one one and two and then grab our trapdoors and take this down

One two and three on each side just like that and a trapdoor in the center then over here we’re gonna grab some barrels and we’re gonna place these barrels down here on the side I’m gonna go let’s place one here and here then I’m gonna place two on this side two on

This side then I’m gonna grab our chests and we’re gonna start placing them on top so let’s go right here on the side one two three then Ashley’s place these forward a little bit and then we’re gonna go one two and I can’t place one

There so we’re just gonna go one and two here and then one two and three right there crafting bench and we’re gonna put crafting bench right in the center like that then we could drop a light I’m gonna put it right on that side right

There or you can drop it on the top we could drop in the middle and ender chest but that’s later on once you guys advanced to one so that goes right there just like that so composter and one two with bushes right there another composter here and

Push this right there then on this side I have a little bit of a table so I grabbed some stairs and some trapdoors and we’re gonna put stair stair trapdoor in the middle and some flower pots on each side then up here this what I got I

Got the stone color on one I have a grindstone another one some flowers and we can also put little extra chests here just for random stuff on the top that’s pretty cool so let’s put a painting right on this side I kind of like that one there we go

I’m gonna put a painting now not that one um let’s do one of those perfect and then on this side we got some furnace and I don’t know if the blast furnaces or the smokers here but I just have pretty much two furnaces this one I have

Some stairs going right up like this and two down on that side and a little light and a cake you can put a cake on the other side like that then over here we’re gonna grab some barrels and this is what I have set up so I have barrels

Going all the way around like so and then a cauldron in the center like this then we can also mix in some chests you put a chest here and here on this side and maybe a little bit of flower pot on the other side something like that that’s pretty cool

Last but not least we can throw a little bit of a carpet right here in the kitchen alright now that we’re in the bedroom super simple he’s gonna put a bit on the side we’re gonna put a chest on top right here we’re gonna put a crafting

Bench on one of these also gonna put a barrel over here and we’re gonna drop on top of the barrel we could put maybe a little flower on top right there then on this side I went ahead this is probably the best thing to do and I don’t have

These in the patron server but eventually I’ll have some books I could throw some your books on the top and it looks pretty cool also we can hang a light anywhere there is fine last but not least I hired a painting there maybe this yeah that looks like a nice want to
