Well hello everybody and welcome back to another minecraft video this is mythical sausage how is everybody doing man I’m doing great hopefully you guys are through it amazing because today we’re back doing another tutorial and this time we’re gonna be doing our single-player survival house that we Build on day one so technically is a starter house but technically might be a little bit too big for a normal starter house but we’re gonna be doing this house right now so let’s go into our flat world and let’s do this thing block for block and here we go in our Flat world I rebuild the house but I build it clean so I’m gonna show you guys how to build it like this if you don’t want it rustic and broken and rundown and then we’re also gonna mess it up so you can see how to do both ways But let’s take a quick little space you guys know exactly what we’re building and this is literally one of my favorite survival starter houses that I’ve ever built and I love it so much going on right now in my single-player let’s play if you guys haven’t checked that out go Check it out it’s a link in the description you can see me build this thing in survival and there’s so many cool bills in that world oh man we’re gonna keep doing we’re gonna keep doing some more from there but you know what let’s start building this thing block For block all right here we go with the block pallets oh sorry from left to right we’re using oak so oak logs stripped oak oak plank the fences gates and trap doors we’re also using some spruce so using the strip spruce log smooth stairs slabs and trap doors and Then a couple different mixes of bricks for the little base and also for the fireplace chimney alright and here we go with dimension so we’re gonna work this out we’re gonna take it one step at a time we’re gonna be using oak log as our foundation now just you can know the House itself is just this little section right here this kind of L shade this little 5×5 box here and then this little 7 by 9 box that you see right here so just that that’s the house itself this section over here is the front porch it Kind of ELLs this way and then we have a little back porch here overhangs on both front and back so we’ll take this one step at a time to do it together so for right now this is grab oak log and it start right here in the corner we’re Just gonna start counting every block so right here let’s go up by six so one two three four five and six gonna give it a space of one two and three right here we’re gonna also take this up by six so matching that then let’s actually turn This corner I’m gonna take it a three spacer right here and this also up by six so matching that give it a space of one two three four and five and then right here also up by six matching that give it a one two three spacer again up again by six matching This one and another three spacer going up by six as well right here I’m gonna give it a two spacer this one goes up by six another two spacer up by six and then here we’re gonna do a three and a three from this side so right in the Center I take this one also up by six now next part let’s actually come down this way do that little L shape right here so we’re gonna take this down one two three on this one we’re only gonna take this up one two and three this one as Well one and two and then go up by three matching that so all these are gonna match by three pretty much you’re just gonna go wherever these logs are and we’re gonna go up by three so up three here three and three just like so then Let’s go out to the back here and then we’re gonna go right up against this log we’re gonna go up by three as well so one two and three right in front of this log up by three then there’s a two capper and a two gamma right here and Take this also up by three and then up by three right there just like that now next up let’s do some cross beams so we’re gonna go from here let’s go up by one and just cross beam all the way around just like so except for this one We’re gonna have space there for step up then another cross beam right here on this side the only other place we’re gonna do cross beams or right here in this little overhang little walkout bit here we’re gonna go one in two and then here one and two just like so All right let’s go back to the front and then right here we’re gonna do some details so let’s actually do this first we’re gonna put logs up against these beams all of these beams we’re gonna put logs and you see right then we’re gonna Put logs up by one and a stair of spruce right on top so let’s go here stairs spruce log another stairs spruce let me move these little closer right there there we go and then we’re gonna do is all the way around so logs and stairs right on top and this one All the way down except for this log rate we don’t need one there but we’re gonna go all the way around like so and then put our stairs right on top of that then let’s keep going we’re almost done by putting these logs around like so so That’s gonna go there then we’re gonna go ahead and put stairs again so here on top of those on top of this one also another log here and then wrap these logs around and it’s gonna look just like this way and we’re done then next Up let’s make our step up so I’m gonna put a step up here so stair here and it’s there right here on this side then I’m gonna go ahead and bring some slabs and we’re gonna take our slabs all the way down just like so take it down and Then once we get to this point I’m gonna put two stairs here and then two stairs here and then let’s keep wrapping these all the way down and we’re actually gonna go ahead and cover this up here as well so let’s cover this up this up here let’s keep going all the Way around just don’t go over these logs right here but we’re gonna keep taking this around so let’s go all the way around like so this is gonna take us all the way to the front or the back door which is right here currently at the back door keep Going all the way all the way again one more and then here we’re gonna go with steps so step from here and it stepped down right there and then this finish up this little area here so we’re just gonna go ahead and put slabs all the way there we go Now it should look just like this going all the way around from the top and then also from the side so just like this now next up let’s grab for now just stone and we’re gonna go right here one level up two levels up and then we Can come in here and give it a little bit of texture if you want with some cop now we could do it over here as well so take this up one two three one two and three a little bit of cobble that’s fine here’s what we’re gonna go up by two Let’s go up by two here it has you covered this whole thing up so let’s go ahead and do that on this end and then we’re gonna leave room here because we’re gonna do a nice little fireplace but we’ll save that for later over here on this side as well take this Up take this up and in a little bit of texture and that’s all the spots from the top that you’re gonna need to put stones all right now this work on the inside portions here so for this section here we’re gonna go up let me do everything Oak planking and will texture in a little bit of stripped oak for now let’s go up one two and three one two three we’re gonna put a spruce there here and an upside-down spruce there here and we’re cross beaming that then we’re gonna add a little bit of texture and it Should look something like that it doesn’t have to be exactly where I placed those strip but you put it anywhere really then over here pretty much matching what we did on this side so this cross beam right here let’s go ahead and go up by three up by three here stairs up and Down and give it a little bit of texture that looks good right there then for this one I’m gonna go ahead and do a cross beam let’s cross beam the whole thing for now and then we’ll cut a break in from the middle to do our fireplace But for right now that should be fine and over here we’re gonna go up three and up three and then maybe give it a little bit of texture that’s good then let’s go over there to this side let’s do another cross beam another little bit Of one two threes on each side up set on stairs spruce right there and then give it again a little bit of texture just like that then again welcome back grabbing that up by three up by three our stairs and our texture right about there that’s good and then let’s finish This one off so cross beam here cross beam here let’s go ahead and do up here one two three on this side three on this side let’s put two stairs one on each side here and two upside down it should look like this and it again texture food Makes it look cool let’s finish this off pretty simple we’re just gonna cross here let’s cross here I’m gonna put a window on this side just like so texture of course and then over here this is our door so one two three one two and three upside down stared here and again Texture we got perfect so it should look like this we’re doing pretty good so far now let’s go ahead I’ll do the fireplace little area after but for right now let’s work on the roof but before the roof let’s add some fences so fences on the sides here gate in the middle so Fences on the side gate in the middle and here just fences going all the way down on this side we’re gonna just do fences and fences so we got that all set up ready to go then let’s work on the roof so first step let’s actually go From this side so I’m gonna go ahead and just do it clean like this and then we can go ahead and break it up after show you the clean way first so from right now let’s get some spruce stairs and we’re gonna overhang that side let’s Go ahead and do some spruce stairs and then overhang this side then upside down stairs we’re gonna go with regular stairs forward another one forward upside down on both sides and here we’re gonna just come up with slabs and then double slab here so it should look like This and then we’re gonna grab our spruce trapdoors and lay those right there now this little gap here this empty gap I’m gonna grab some strips spruce log and go one two and three right there so it should look like this now next up let’s wrap this around and Go all the way around and then overhanging that bit right there let’s come back this direction and we’ll overhang this bit right here then and it still upside down stairs on each side stairs going down on each side upside down stairs again and then all slabs Until we meet to the center point so we’re gonna go right here slab double slab double slab and then double it back down like so then next up I’m gonna put some upside down stairs every other one and then slabs in between and in the middle our strip so one two three four And five and then one in the middle just so everything gets covered up just like so then let’s come back this direction and I stick it all the way down and we’ll work on the overhang later in the front and in the back all the way down Just like so then here we’re gonna go with an upside down stair stair forward upside down and then watch this we’re gonna do slaps going up so single double and a double double back down a single one a stair here stair here stair upside down and then we’re gonna go ahead and Put this there right there and connect just like so and again upside down the stairs every other one slabs in between and then our strip again here one two three four five and one in the middle just like so now for the clean version let’s just connect everything together so we’re going all The way down like so our slabs are gonna go all the way down and wrap around like so here we’re gonna double it and then take this all the way around and this should connect perfectly to here but we’re gonna double that it’s single take this all the way down Let’s take this stair all the way down I’m gonna curve it and then connect everything together so that’s pretty simple we’re just connecting everything up till it meets up back from one end to the other now this should go straight line all the way from one side to the Next and then it’s finished this off so stairs all the way down slabs going all the way down this way hello here we go and then slabs here so double that double that and take the single one all the way down just like so so that’s looking really really cool all right now Let’s grab some slabs I’m gonna put slabs every other one going all the way around like so and then trapdoors in the little middle caps just to give you a little bit of a nice trim all the way around I’m gonna do it here as well so Right there slabs and trapdoors right in the little gaps then over here we got a couple more let’s go with slabs going all the way down just like so trapdoors in between now perfect actually these we’re gonna skip those because now let’s put some walls so I’m gonna put a mix of Cobble wall and stone wall like so and it could be any kind of mix you want something like that looks perfect then I’m gonna grab slabs and let’s go one and two all the way down like so no overhang just right here up to the line Of the wall and then here we’re gonna go with our trapdoors just like that then we’re also gonna do it here so let’s do it again so we’re gonna go to ups and any mixture or you could do one or the other or both like me just like that Then I’m gonna grab trapdoors and we’re gonna go like this right here we’re gonna take trapdoors down all the way down right at this line then I’m gonna go ahead and take our slabs all the way down on this line then let’s actually run the trapdoor or the slab all the way Down just like so and then our trapdoors right on the edge and if you notice they’re all facing this direction going down the same way so it all looks pretty nice and then this is really cool you can also mix this up and change this is how I have it for now but also it’ll be cool to put campfire blocks up here for the overhang so it’s all up to you guys how you want to set it up all right now let’s look at the fireplace little chimney action on this side so for now Use all cobble where will text your after so right here we’re gonna go up one two and three one two and three we’re gonna get rid of these three blocks here then we’re gonna go up so right here let’s go up one two three four five six And it’s pretty stare there let’s do this one as well so one two three four five and six any stare here I’m gonna take this up one two three four five six seven get rid of those two eight nine ten and then on the inside here we’re Gonna knock that one out and go up so this count this is a one so two three four five here we’re gonna put another little stare and then we have our fireplace that’s gonna go up through there but we’re gonna have this one a little bit taller but I love that little Curve that goes up here we’re also gonna drop some trapdoors I’m gonna go with our spruce but you can really put any trapdoor and that would look really nice now for added details we’re gonna lift some blocks up so right here let’s go up one two three four and we’re gonna put a Stair here on the fifth one here we’re gonna go up one two three put us there here and here we’re gonna go up one and two and a stair there and then what you’re gonna do is just come in here and give it a little bit of texturing by Adding some regular smooth stones and also some stone break all right we’re doing great now let’s work on the towers so for the tower we’re gonna go right here on this block so you notice right here on the El crossing so we’re gonna get rid of that block then we’re gonna Give it a space of one two three and right here I’m gonna get rid of that block so let’s put some placeholder blocks in here I’m gonna put this log inside and then through another little bit of a placeholder block I’m gonna put that log inside so it should look like This I’m also gonna get rid of these blocks here so one two and three just like so then we’re gonna go ahead and get rid of this block here one two three and then right here we’re gonna put our other logs so let’s put a placeholder And then put our log right there and then we’re just gonna get rid of this little gaps right here also get rid of these and then we’re gonna put another log right here so we can actually do this and pop it back down so at the end We’re gonna have this little spot let me show you right on the tippy top it’s gonna be a little 5×5 box and it’s gonna be right here on that spot right there alright so let’s work this out now that we have this ready so I’m gonna take These down all the way around just like so get rid of that placeholder block then I’m gonna purport crossbeams here across beams on this level all the way around is we’d have a nice foundation right there and it should be right here from underneath now once we get up to The top here we’re gonna start putting blocks up so let’s work with the logs first so let’s go up another one two three one two three on all of these all the way around then let’s take this up so 1 2 3 1 2 & 3 are stared down and are Upside down stare and then cross the beam just like so and then imagine what we did underneath we’re gonna give it a little bit of texture like that there let’s do this again we can cross beam all of these right now if you want get It all set up just like so and then here we’re gonna do what we did in the front so we’re gonna go with our planks up planks up here stairs up and down a little bit of texture and then here we’re gonna cover these up so no windows On these sides here so we’re just gonna take all of this up here and all of this up over here give it that texture just so good look nice you can see from the inside and out so might as well do it there you go and then we can go ahead And work on the roof so this roof is gonna be similar to this roof here just because it’s the same dimensions okay so here we’re gonna go with stairs and we’re gonna overhang it over one edge from that side and this side same thing goes over here so overhanging this bit Take it all the way down just like so I’m gonna go with upside down stairs on each stairs going up on each upside down stairs on each like so and then step patterns with our slabs meeting up in the center like so and then just like we Did on the other side let’s repeat it so we’re gonna go it up set on stairs stairs facing forward up set out again and then slabs meeting up into the center just like so then we’re gonna grab our stripped and go here one two and three one two and three and then Just connect one side to the next with our stairs and our slab so going all the way down and coming around and then connecting one side to the other just like so there we go then over here a little bit of detail just our trapdoor aligning which is Gonna go right here underneath these stairs and it should look just like so last little bit of detail here again we’re gonna put our slabs and trap door combos on the edge right here just you can match what we did on the other side just like so and then our trapdoors In the little gaps we missed one of the last little bits of details we’re gonna do is put a trapdoor on an oak trapdoor as our window you can you also use glass you can use fences you can pretty much use any combination but this is how I Have it in my world but it’s up to you guys how you want to set this up it’s all personal preference this looks pretty good though and we got shutters going all the way on each side just so it look a little bit cooler and then we got our trapdoors right around like Something we’re also gonna put trapdoors up here and seal these up as far as the interior let me show you how to set this up so we’re gonna bring these logs down so this goes all the way down to the ground this one here goes all the way Down to the ground and then these corner ones are gonna take it all the way down just like this and we’re gonna get this interior look now next thing we’re gonna do is just slabs I’m gonna go ahead and ruin it down just like so and then leave That one open in this corner then here we’re gonna give it a little bit of texturing we’re gonna go up with our oak and then also mix-and-match the strip and the regular like so then here we’re doing barrels so barrel corner all the way around except for this middle one We’re gonna go put a crafting bench right here on this side and then here we’re gonna go with some stairs I’m gonna go with upside down stairs on each corner then I’m gonna put one here and one here and then slabs in the gaps right there and then up top here we’re Just gonna go with the just a row of barrels on the top and this is my little storage area little starter storage right there then here we’re gonna go ahead and put a ladder that lantern a ladder and we’re gonna drop this ladder right here and it’s pretty much just Gonna take us up to the bedroom I’m gonna remove that one let’s put a trapdoor there if you want to make a little rougher you can go ahead and maybe add a couple random trapdoors like this it’ll look a little bit more rustic now for this side it’s pretty simple how I have this set up you can get to get some furnaces you can go blast furnaces you can go smokers here this is put three furnaces right on that then here I have some stairs so I’m using oak stairs for this one also using some slabs onto this one did I just lose it yes I did so here we’re putting a stair on this side one on this side putting a slab in the middle then I’m gonna put some composters we have one on this side and one on this side and then we’re bushing this up just to have a Cool little design there also I’m gonna put a couple bits of detail here on the top as well gonna go with another couple upside down stairs here we’re gonna go with a slab right there so all our friends are still accessible and up here we can add a couple bits of detail maybe A couple barrels maybe even some extra chests as well so we could put that right here on this side then over here we actually could put a couple extra chests just scattered around it’s all really up to you guys how you want to set yours up and over here a couple of Bits of detail we’ve got some stairs sideways also we have a slab in the middle here we could put pretty much anything we put chess you can put lanterns we could put flowerpots here it’s really up to you guys what you want to set up on this side you can even put A little armor stand over here on this end and that would look also pretty cool and it could put some armor on that and then this is pretty much set up here we can put our bedroom so I’m gonna go ahead and put a bed here we could put a Couple barrels on that we can even go with a couple upside-down stairs right there maybe another little a little trapdoor more barrels more chests that you can add as many bits of swords up here these are all accessible since those are slabs on the top also here you Can put maybe throw on another armor stand we can even add some paintings up here you pretty much put anything else you would like you can even put more stores on this side so it’s really up to you guys how you want this but if you wanted more storage pretty simple maybe A couple bits of detail something like that just to change it up and even more stores even more chests if you want add as much as you want up here now we’re pretty much done with the house and it looks very clean so if you want to keep It like this you’re good you’re done it looks perfect and you’re good to go but if you want to make it like I have it you want to roughen it up you want to make it look a little more rustic a little more run-down and worn worn out Let me show you how to do it so really simple you just come in here and replace some of these like these are stairs right we can come in here and then maybe add full blocks right here in a couple spots maybe come back in here and add a couple more full blocks Wherever the stairs are just add full blocks or even you can add slabs and maybe go inside there maybe break some of this off maybe add more slabs and you can even break that off even more take it down and then some of these you can Even add a couple of trapdoors just like so and then this would look pretty cool as well and make it look a little more roughing up like this it even had another little bit down there to go even lower but it’s all up to you guys how You want to do it you can come in here expose a little bit more log in certain spots give me a break up some of those pieces here maybe make these into full blocks and this is all up to you is all based on personal preference if you want to Have this and you don’t have to do it exactly how I’m doing it you can just come in here and rough it up whatever spots you want and make it look unique so it doesn’t have to be exact and you can make it your own so pretty much this Is how I would do it and just come back in here it takes a little bit of time but once you have it all set up it would look pretty cool in the end if you want that style if you’re going for that rustic worn out look like this so it’s Really up to you guys if you have a village like this or maybe a couple houses it really does stand out if you make it look a little something like so so full blocks slabs stairs just go crazy with it and just make sure you having fun alright so at the end it Should look something like this if you want to make it look a little more like the one I did in my single-player world you can even add bushes on the top and that would add even more detail as well little things you could do let me show You on this head adding life around the build so it’s not just a build and you’re done and everything looks to clean and pristine make it look a little bit more alive by adding bushes tall grass ferns sweet berries flower boxes on these little spots one against the Side one against the side next to the fireplace a little chimney action a wraparound of different bushes I have this in a flower for so it really would fit the theme but it really depends on how you guys have it in your world I also got a little bell hanging from this In mind it’s a little bell to call for dinner for my girl bubbles or my little doggy but it looks pretty cool something like this will be awesome if you guys add it to your order and if you do let me know send me pictures I would love to See it and you know on Twitter discord Instagram any of those things there’s links in the description if you guys want to check it out and again check out my single-player world and let me know from a single-player world with other bills you want me to do tutorials on hopefully you Guys did enjoy this was so much fun to make but I’ll see you very very soon on the next Minecraft video think about Video Information
