Minecraft | THE ALCHEMIST #1 | Skyblock Vanilla Mod Pack (Minecraft Vanilla Mods)

My friends i’m in a little bit of a pickle no matter where i look there is quite literally nothing and all i have to survive in this forsaken empty world is everything in this chest welcome my friends to the alchemist the red engineers alchemy survival a vanilla mod pack if you will

It’s a bit of a take on agrarian skies which is a sky block mod pack now this is as i said courtesy of the red engineer his channel is going to be linked below show him some love this is a command block vanilla mod pack whatever you want to call it survival it

Only takes two command blocks and it adds numerous technical machines new crafting recipes and a whole new way to play skyblock and that’s what we’re gonna be doing in this mini series probably gonna be like five to six episodes long our main goal is going to

Blow up and act like we don’t know nobody does anybody get that reference anyways not a big deal if you don’t you shouldn’t understand it but main goal here is to kill the ender dragon we’re trying to get to the ender dragon literally all we have to start with is

All this stuff you probably well what the heck am i supposed to do with all these goodies well that’s what we’re going to be learning in this mini series i’m going to explain to you not only how to set up this world if you want to play for yourself but

To very quickly show you how to set this up in your world if you don’t care or you don’t need to learn how to then you can skip to the time that i’ve placed right here to start the survival so thanks so much make sure you subscribe

To me for all my future minecraft videos and let’s get into it so i’m at a very briefly explaining how you can set up your own the alchemist world we have our world here set up nothing’s actually installed yet but i’m gonna take you through it step at a time so we’re gonna

Delete the word we just made delete it’s gone name this new world the alchemist you name it whatever you want obviously switch it over to create mode otherwise you’re not gonna get too far into this world type is gonna be super flat click customize click presets click in here

Press control plus a type three not colon but just the semicolon button zero not colon but just the semicolon button one should look just like that click use preset you’ll have nothing but air here click done turn off generate structures allow cheats on done create

Almost set up now now you have an empty world this world is nothing but air i got a nice little sky box on it’s like a real sweet what i would recommend you do is put the uh installed modules in an area that’s gonna be very far

From where you’re building so i’ll just do tp 10 000 uh 100 and then 10 000 just like that so once you’ve done that go ahead and type in the next command which is set block tilde squiggly squiggly squiggly it’s it’s like near the top left underneath

Your escape button and then just type stone now once you’ve done that you have a single stone block so now you can place stuff on top of this stone block you know you know what i mean finally slash give at p-c-o-m-m press tab on your keyboard press enter on the keyboard you’re going

To get yourself a command block you’re going to want to stack just like that finally in the description of this video are you going to be able to find a link to the commands once again crazy the red engineer paste the first command when you click the little save button

On the page that goes into the bottom one now what goes into the top one is the other command where it says click here in the blue you’ll see if you go to the page now just grab yourself a redstone block or a button power the

Bottom sucker and check it out it is now being built it’s all getting set up it’s looking real good check it out your module is now ready the alchemist was successfully installed once again by the red engineer big thing of him channels in the description you’re all installed and

Good to go so you can remove the machine by doing this you can you know do that a new way to survive or you can start game right click this sign to start alternatively you can click these and it will take you to you know wikis and this

And that but you know we’re gonna be covering all that in this video so your final move is to right click this to start and what that’s gonna do is teleport you up a little bit switch your game mode and give you a chest filled with all these goodies however if you’re

Smart like me you’re going to control hold down control middle click what this is going to do is it’s going to copy the entire chest along with everything in it break all this stuff and then teleport to uh tp0 uh what did this put it put us at 183 so tp

0 100 0. do the same thing where you set a block just like that and now get your area set up here because this is going to be a lot easier it’s going to cause you less lag if you start far away from the module however the module is still going

To work as long as you didn’t forget like i just did to set the world spawn so one last thing you gotta do quickly go back to where you put this baby in right over here type in set world spawn this is gonna make it the spawn chunk so that this

Baby is always running no matter where you are you don’t gotta worry about why you just gotta make sure you do that but once you’ve done that you’re set and ready to go so hope you enjoy do you hear that my music is off so what is that lovely noise listen

Nice ambient alright good enough okay so let’s get started on this baby i’m in creative mode should not be it should be in survival mode because of what you just saw a second ago so it’s gonna be pretty crazy trying to learn this but if

Anyone can do it i know you can yes you the one watching right now so we have a bunch of different buckets here now these buckets are gonna be used to make basically everything we need everything in the alchemist can be created using water and lava first thing we’re going

To want to make by dropping a water bucket and a lava buck on the ground is some cobblestone now cobblestone is another basic block that you can turn into other things let’s say you need to get down to the next block the nitty-gritty you gotta wash off most of that stone with the

Water bucket and look what you get you get some gravel you can even go far further down and do the same thing gravel plus water it’s gonna get you some dirt now dirt’s gonna be very important because we need to obviously plant things on top of dirt however

That is not where we stop okay one more dirt plus water bucket is gonna get you seeds now seeds are quite important because they are going to be used to make the sapling however in order to get a sapling we’re going to have to do a

Little more of the same thing i didn’t mess around man it’s going to get a little bit confusing but she won’t catch on soon enough once again water plus lava get yourself a cobblestone cobblestone plus water get yourself some gravel gravel plus water oh we’re gonna run out of

Water real soon get yourself some dirt now dirt plus seeds get yourself an oak sapling just like that in that great well what we can do with the oaks apple obviously we’re going to have to plant it somewhere so in order to do that we’re going to need to make ourselves some

More dirt so you can see you’re going to you’re going to quickly find that you’re going to run out of most of these supplies fairly quickly but that’s okay because you’ll be able to get back more of these well that was that was weird normally it’s supposed to jump right

Into your inventory so i’m not sure what happened there so now we have ourselves our gravel and we only have two water buckets i am a little bit inclined to save these because i don’t remember exactly how to make the you’ll be able to find by the way a little image i made

In the description of all of these videos um basically all the different crafting recipes and the ways to make all the different machines we’re going to be going over those in the series however if you ever feel like you’re stuck and you you know you don’t want to

Wait for me to blab through it you’re able to find what you need down there okay so i believe the neck what am i supposed to do next i guess the most logical move would be to grab everything in here and make a nice centerpiece oh

It’s gonna look lovely i’m gonna have my tree right in the middle oh i love it i never stopped loving okay so let’s put that down now wait a second oh i didn’t make my dirt yet worse guy okay so drop you down just like that thank you very much place

The dirt right in the middle there we got our oak sapling we ready to do this let’s take some of our fertilizer we’re going to take some fertilizer and hope we get a huge tree i mean it’s acceptable i’ll go with it so what we want to do is get a crafting

Bench going obviously and then we go i wanna you know i don’t feel comfortable living on a freaking little three by three you know what i mean like look at this what am i supposed to do with this huh plus i want to be able to catch these saplings so we’re gonna need

To expand our area of not only influence but you know just exactly what we can work with us around here so let’s place you here for now gonna half slab these babies up so that we have that much more room to work with uh-huh it’s good so far yo this is gonna

Be exciting now again it’s gonna be a fairly short series because i think i’m gonna stop either once i kill you can uh you can technically get to the nether uh using just literally water buckets and lava buck well i mean obviously because you can just turn them into yeah i’m going

To shut my mouth no but it should be it should be it should be a fun experience friends okay so good enough for now um okay let’s keep breaking this wood and hopefully we get a couple more saplings because next step we’re gonna have to do is make ourselves a little

Bit of a cauldron furnace now furnaces work a little bit differently in the alchemist but i need to break me please i hope the goodness gracious golly g i get me one sapling give me one sapling i think for the time being let’s actually continue to expand this just so that we

Don’t lose any to some freak accident or something or other you know what i mean okay so put you down just like that just like that just like that just like that okay so we got a little bit of a wider area to work with i really oh sweet we got a

Sapling i just spit all over my screen worst guy okay keep breaking it all we sneaking hey you guys like the skybox should i keep the skybox just uh like for general gameplay wondering not entirely sure if that’s what you i mean i think it looks rather pleasant yeah

Yeah we just got two yo that’s good stuff okay so we got two we got pretty good amount of wood to work with could technically make a tool here i think the next logical step okay well first of all let’s let’s get down what we need to go next so we’re actually out

This is our last water bucket but that’s okay because here’s what we’re gonna do no uh i guess this is a good time to clarify that you should be very careful with what items you drop on what blocks because there are certain blocks if it detects a certain item on top of it

Instantly it will take that item so if you drop a water bucket on dirt it will turn into grass and it will use up your water it’s very possible to get stuck in the alchemist technically we’re stuck right now that was a freak accident i i’m hoping

You guys are going to be able to find it in your heart to forgive this and look we’ll even look so just so that everyone’s on the same page did not mean to do that okay did not mean to do that it’s all good now okay it’s all good in the hood

That’s why you’re gonna want to be on cheat mode in case something ridiculous like that happens so we’re just trying to get a stone here now a cobblestone with a lava bucket is going to get you a regular stone now this is very important because we’re

Going to need the stone for a future recipe in just a little bit here interestingly enough mixing a stone with a lava bucket is how you’re going to get an iron ore you get pretty good stuff right right however it doesn’t end there iron ore plus lava bucket

Equals an iron ingot now once you’ve taken care of all of that now you can get yourself a cauldron by mixing the iron ingot with a bucket there’s a lot of mixing that happens here right right so that’s something you’re gonna have to keep in mind now i need to figure out exactly

Where i want to put this baby because i know that there’s a solid chance i really hope i can collect this i really hope i can collect this come on oh it’s gone it’s gone ah i hope that wasn’t completely necessary i feel like there’s a chance it was but

That’s okay because here is how you make yourself your little cauldron furnace or what have you place your lava bucket and then right on top of that yeah that’s just gonna happen you know that’s just unavoidable it’s gonna just creep down there we’re gonna just temporarily place you here and we’re

Gonna place the cauldron right on top so now you’ve actually made yourself the first technical furnace in the alchemist i i’m gonna be so upset if i mean there’s a chance it’s gonna catch these slaps on fire i’m i’m not ready for that really i don’t want that to happen oh boy

But that’s okay because now that you have this baby set up it is the gonna be the source of a lot of your new recipes drop a sapling into this cauldron fills with water use a bucket by dropping it in there to claim the water we’re gonna do oh man oh man

I really feel like i should not have lost that dirt i really feel like i should not have lost that dirt if that that could that could have actually just killed this entire oh man uh-oh what to do well we definitely need more water we’re gonna need an infinite source of

Water so let’s just do that right now grab a bucket drop it in so you actually can’t right click with that but we have our two buckets of water now from here we technically can begin to make ourselves a little bit of a cobblestone generator i need to figure out exactly

How i would want to do this it oh almost fell would not have been good i didn’t even realize it you actually disengage your sneak if you go into a menu see i’m holding sneak right now whatever whatever whatever i like really don’t want to break this glass but we need to

Get this at some point or another because it’s time that we get started with our cobblestone generator and we have enough tools here to make a pickaxe so that we can mine it up and get things popping here so let me how how do i want to do this

I’m trying to think here maybe if we okay we’re about to do some crazy like like espionage or something or okay so this could be some cobble down there go on yes oh literally it’s not turning any it’s just it’s just making it go away okay that’s

Fine whatever no did i place her okay so i placed it right there that’s fine so what i need to do now is get down here oh man oh bad this is a little nervous guy i’m just shy okay so um the lava’s gonna go on this

Block which means that we want to place one here okay trying to think about this so that i don’t make any foolish mistakes so that’s there now if i placed it okay so if i place one right attached to it like this okay so it looks like that’s still gonna work

And i think we’re gonna get rid of that now so the lava’s gonna go there i’m not sure i feel like when i installed the module it got rid of do fire spread so that’s why none of these slabs got caught on fire you know what i mean but i don’t

Know for sure um i guess there’s one way we can test but it’s gonna we got to get rid of this guy first please collect please collect oh i got it i should have just left the water there oh that’s how i no i don’t

Know if i had water when i did anyway i’m talking a mile a minute right now okay so we need to get ourselves poppin with respect to right so how do i do this i’ve like totally forgotten pretty much how to make a cop so jitter i’m the worst

Should not be playing this right now i like to live dangerously so i think this will do it let’s see place the lava down it’s going to burn all my wood be so funny there’s our cobblestone generator just like that although i feel like perhaps i could have chosen a more

Appropriate spot to put it i don’t really know but that’s okay let’s cover this up i seriously hope that this isn’t going to go up in flames i really am not sure looks good so far now we can place down the crafting table and let’s get some

Tools so that we can start mining this sucker up so we’ve got our sticks looks like that’s going to be the next appropriate move and now technically we have infinite cobblestone which means that we can get eventually i’m pretty sure we can get um dirt back and we can also get saplings

Back so that’s good so we just need to mine this sucker up let’s grab ourselves the tools nice just enough wood love it when it works out that way baby okay so our simple job now is to collect ah you see so that is what i’m supposed to do huh

Oh man i totally feel like i’m gonna screw this up somehow let me see no no no no right i don’t know i guess we’re about to find out let’s break this guy again mine this up please oh sweet okay so that’s good so if we just stay

Come on stand right here right oh i got it that’s great nice good stuff push yay i love it i love oh i lost that one but see check it out we’re gonna oh don’t fall that would be a terrible thing what a horrible way to go honestly so i’m gonna mine enough

Cobblestone so that i can make an infant spring hey this works out really nice just standing right in the middle here i’m a big fan it’s pretty much like no loss mining i’ll take it i’ll take this all day baby i’m gonna go for a full

Stack or my pickaxe breaks one of those two oh so here’s the cool thing by the way once you have enough cobblestone you can actually throw the cobblestone in the furnace and yes you can have the cobblestone generator and this little furnace with the same lava block throw in four

Cobblestones look what you get we got ourselves another lava bucket four cobblestones into this furnace equals a lava bucket one two three four check it out you see we got another one so our problems are over baby we we we get real good and i can’t wait

To bust into more episodes where we start getting like there’s like machines to automate cobblestone breaking and stuff oh nice squid friends oh i think they just pretty sure they just died that that’s ah okay right there oh no i didn’t mean to press that right there that’s okay

We’re sitting fat on the kerbal stone right now just like that so now we’re gonna temporarily grab this sucker and check it out we now have infinite water that’s exactly what i wanted to see it’s all coming together baby we got infinite water and we have infinite lava essentially

Because we got this cobblestone generator which means we a business girl oh it’s time to alchemize let’s get one more of these just so that we’re on the same page because you also cobblestone is also essentially the basic building block for everything and uh let’s break it down first thing i

Wanna do is get some of that glass back so we’re gonna throw down a cobblestone we’re also gonna throw down a bucket of water to break down the cobblestone into some gravel here let’s grab ourselves right there sounds good so far boom bada bing now we have ourselves

Some dirt so we got a dirt back which means we’ll be able to get seeds in half a second here as well we’re going to throw down the dirt throw down the water bucket got ourselves some seeds let’s throw down another kerbal stone we’re going to throw down another bucket of

Water uh-huh are you getting the pattern yet it’s coming together real good okay let’s grab a couple more and let’s grab one more why not because i’m pretty sure i need another one for we’re going to need to get a mob farm going pretty soon here so that we can

Get more bone meal because that is not going to last us too long if we are not careful so now we have a sapling and uh oh yeah we now need another dirt okay it’s a it’s a slow process but you know you gotta do what you gotta do so now we

Have a dirt now i have a sapling now we can get more wood we start upgrading our tools and having a grand old time hmm i think our first order of business let’s go ahead and i want to plant this somewhere i guess i could plant it right here

And then that way i wouldn’t lose the dirt please grow yeah that’s a talk about man all right let’s let’s bust this baby out huh oh by the way anyone that’s listened in this far have a little bit of a surprise to announce to you guys all my loyals that

Needless to say it kind of spawned just in into the void like i saw like i’m gonna try and replicate it right now thank goodness i have infinite stuff already so it’s not a big deal but look i put it there i put it here put it there you see

Not supposed to be what’s happening okay not supposed to happen so we lost a couple buckets we lost some cobblestone just be careful where you do it otherwise that could i guess happen i think it’s maybe because the tree’s in the way so it spawned you know out of the way of that

I don’t really know really funny though it was funny to um i guess witness with that is that even the right word we’re trying to get some dirt here there we go so now we can plant you up we’re gonna just place you right here for now get that going off

Plant you get some more wood ah stupid little shrubble little trouble guy and we’re gonna chop you down now once you get enough cobblestone just from mining from your generator you actually don’t need to make iron that old way anymore where i mean iron ingot rather

Eventually oh i just lost it terrible so now we can make a furnace we got enough tools to make an actual furnace here and that is where things are going to start popping off so let’s see we got our furnace so far so good where do i want to place

You i like keeping everything you know kind of organized looking i’m sure this will change you know down the road but i like it when stuff is symmetrical like this goes back 12 so that means it has to go back 12 over here are you guys the same anybody that does skyblock does

Everything have to look the same on both sides or am i just a freak there’s no way i’m a freak like this everybody plays like this right come on why wouldn’t you this is the way this is totally the way to do it if you’re not making everything perfectly

The same on both sides obviously doing it wrong i’m just saying like it’s not that i hate you guys it’s just that never talk to me again if you don’t if you don’t do things symmetrically look about what you want okay it’s how minecraft is just supposed to be played okay so

Pretty good setup now i’m trying to think of what would be the next logical step it’s weird because like this is a different type of playthrough i’m trying to set my own challenges here we need to get to the ender dragon which means we need to get to the nether i assume

We could try and make another portal but we’re definitely not prepared or anything like that so we need a lot more cobblestone to turn into lava buckets and we’re gonna need buckets of water to make into a portal okay i mean that all sounds fine hmm huh that’s real i’m getting hungry i’m

Getting a little hungry actually next logical step gotta be to get food we’re gonna set up a farm which can take a lot of grinding because for every dirt we want we’re gonna need that many cobblestones and then i think for every seeds we want we’re gonna need that many dirt and i’m

Gonna need six seeds i want six seeds and six dirt ooh how do i make coal i’m not sure how to make i mean oh yeah i guess you just cook wood you get charcoal that makes sense okay so we’re going to plant another sapling oh boy we’re almost out of fertilizer

Good thing wow huge good thing that happened huh okay so this is gonna be our fuel source we’re gonna have to get some torches lit pretty soon here as well because mobs are gonna start spawning now that we’ve got you know area for them to spawn in so let’s um

I guess we just cook it up like that right i’ll throw a couple slabs in here just to make sure it all cooks properly okay um i think i’m gonna make the farm off camera have it ready for next episode next episode we’re going to work

On a little bit of a mob grinder slash dropper zone so that i can get some drops coming in whether it’s zombie flash or spider eye for your string rather so i can make a bow this and that we want to get a nice fishing area going

We got a lot of cool stuff we’re going to be doing in this mini series not sure how long it’s going to span i’m thinking like five to six episodes don’t really know depends on how progress goes by the way check this out woodsyah hey hey over
