Minecraft / THE BEST REDSTONE PUZZLE MAP? / RedVenture

Hey guys answer them here and welcome back to another minecraft video and today we’re gonna be checking out a puzzle adventure map called red venture but the map actually starts me off in an area that looks like this rather than a redstone puzzle II looking area with like a title screen or

Something like that so I figured there’s probably a reason for that so I’m just gonna go ahead and I’m just gonna get started with it here because this doesn’t look like a normal mine shaft or anything or like the map maker screwed up and from the screenshots this map looks really really

Polished so something tells me this little beginning is deliberate so let’s go ahead and let’s just get started here so I know that I need to run off in this direction but aside from that I’m really not too sure you can see like there’s like this sort of ravine thing that I’m

In here but I don’t even know if it’s a natural ravine and up to here I haven’t actually gone down this hole yet this is where I was just like you know maybe I should take you guys along for the ride whoa and I guess that was a good idea

Because this is the first level so read venture which is level one temple so I guess these are just puzzles that we need to solve in order to get to the end here so let’s see what we need to actually do here do we need to is this

Like actually a puzzle that I need to do or is this just like parkour that I need to do and there’s redstone nearby I don’t know but I do know that I can at least get up here if I can make this jump okay there we go and then let’s see

Well okay it doesn’t look like there’s anything up here for me okay let’s go and let’s try and figure out this puzzle so there’s a chest over here and let’s see what we need to do so using a redstone repeater and a pickaxe which can be used it can break a redstone repeater

A redstone repeater and a block of gold so okay so there’s a block of gold that I might be able to break and then there’s just a repeater so I don’t know if I need to just do this because there’s more than just you know that

Like that won’t reach at all let’s see and then there’s this so let’s see here what can I do hmmm what can I do here I’m just trying to think I’m actually trying to figure out what really the Oh oh there’s blocks over there that I can go to okay so

Let’s see then maybe what I need to do is I need to can I break redstone like with my bare fists or anything like that let’s see this can be placed on block blocks of quartz and wooden planks and this can only break blocks of and redstone repeaters so the redstone

Is not meant to actually be broken so let’s see how exactly am I gonna do this here if I put a repeater right there it won’t activate that I’m trying to think if I need to activate that at all actually oh I think that’s probably the goal I

Mean I don’t think the intention is to jump way up there but let’s see what is the intention here I guess if I raise that block up I still can’t make the jump per se so what do I need to do here this why this doesn’t feel like it

Should be complicated but I just want to like make sure I get this right okay so I think I may have just actually figured it out here inside of this hopper was actually a golden block and obviously because this can actually break a block of gold I think that this is probably

The point here so I think the idea is probably what I need to do is I need to do something like this and then I need to replace a repeater down and then jump from here to here to here and that actually makes a lot of sense

Okay so cool level to railway so let’s see let’s see here there’s a door that I probably need to open that lever doesn’t do anything and I’m not too sure I still have the pickaxe so I can still break repeaters and blocks of gold so let’s go ahead and

Let’s take a look around here and see what we got ourselves a I could probably remove that let’s see okay so that’s being powered by that so okay so I think the repeater means I probably need to like deactivate this line somehow so can

I do it like that there we go okay and then I thought wow that was it that was the entire level right there okay so we got blocks of wood we got we got some repeaters here okay so we definitely got a little bit more going on with this

Level so let’s try and understand what we need to do here so I need to bring this down and is that it I think that might be all I really have to do so let’s see what goes into that so there’s a redstone signal here there’s a signal

Here the signal is being cut off right here so if I actually flip that lever it okay it’s gonna do that but then it’s gonna reactivate that one so let’s see what can I actually do here can I um alright so there we go so I think I just

Figured it out basically what I had to do is I needed to break the repeater that is right here place a wooden block and then have this be right here and then the floo just sort of goes this way and then there’s this block with this bit of

Redstone so that deactivates this line but then there’s no power going to this but actually you are given a third oak plank so if you go ahead and you take this BAM it will free up everything else so yeah that actually took me quite a while to figure out but again this map

Is actually really well made so I just kind of went with it and I’m just like you know I can figure this out there’s no stinking redstone challenge that’s gonna that’s gonna you know put me down though I don’t think that should have been that hard but it still kind of was

But anyways these are not sticky pistons but okay so I need to take a redstone signal and I need to get it to deactivate these so I need to figure out exactly how to orient these so I’m just trying to think here you can’t break regular redstone pieces

Or anything like that so that’s really not an option so I think my biggest option here let’s go and let’s take a look around here just to be sure is ah let’s see I can’t break any of this look it’s just golden blocks and repeaters so

I think what I need to do is I think maybe I only need to move one side of these so I need to figure out exactly how that’s gonna be possible so let’s see here alright so I think I might actually have this figured out if

I go ahead and I do 1 2 3 and then I place the fourth one right here this repeater locks this one so that now I can remove these two and then I can do this and I can do this but I think as soon as I remove this one the line is

Gonna die so I need to figure out let’s see can I do something like this and then remove this one and now I should be able to remove that one as well so then I can do this one this one which locks that and now I can remove this one and

This one which means I can move that and that which unlocks the door allowing me to go to the next stage so here we go level 5 abyss let’s go ahead and let’s see what this stage is all about so do I need to go all the way in this way yeah

It does kind of look like it so there’s a button here we got ourselves some Pistons and whatnot and it looks like I just need to get this to move up so I can actually park worth a jump so let’s go ahead and let’s see here this can I

Can actually break this so there’s that let’s see and then I don’t I don’t think if I do that that that’ll work so let’s go ahead and let’s figure this out here okay this repeaters down here there’s okay so actually I can I can immediately

Take these so let’s see here if I go ahead and I do that it’ll do that and let’s see what else can I do here so if I go ahead and I do that nope okay that didn’t work and that’s also not sticky so but this it looks this looks to be a

Sticky piston so let’s see what do I need to do here so could it really be this simple so what I think I need to do is I need to have the wooden block placed right here and then I need to take a repeater and I need to do this so

That it pushes the wooden block into the way because you can only place wood onto quartz then I need to remove this set that up so that it pushes the wooden block into the way and now when I place a repeater right here it’s actually going to power this just long enough so

I can make that jump so let’s go ahead and let’s do this up here okay BAM and we made it to the next stage not too bad at all this is these are actually legitimately some pretty fun challenges so okay what stage do we got next which

States do we get we got level six we got ourselves the garden Oh God this actually looks pretty complicated okay what is the goal where do we need to go where art thou do we go land stuff let’s see here we need to get up there somehow and

That’s going to involve oh my god okay let’s go ahead and let’s break everything that’s here actually though let’s see here so when we flip this lever it’s going to okay there’s a sticky piston there let’s see what else is around the corner here so okay we got

That oh my god okay this is gonna give me this is I I’m gonna need to take a minute here don’t mind me I just need to think about this alright so I just figured quite a lot of this out I think if you remove all the repeaters that are

In place and then you place one right there and you flip this this piston and this piston go up and it allows you to park or just like this and then you can actually use your axe to destroy all of this wood here so I think maybe that’s

Sort of like the hidden element of this stage that maybe you’re not supposed to think of right away but I kind of did so I can give myself these ten planks I’m gonna get all of them just in case they’re gonna be useful on future stages

And if we go ahead and we parkour over to here then we can actually place this on blocks of quartz so if we go ahead and we do that that puts the piston right there so what I can actually do is I can do this oh and then I also okay this is

The portion that I have yet to figure out is I need to get a block of wood right there which is not really that big of a deal inherently but I need to be able to have this entire line push it so I may actually need to use the two

Repeaters on it which I actually think won’t be that huge of a deal because if I place the block here and then I place a repeater here and then a repeater here it should automatically break itself just like that the whole line just immediately pushes itself just like that

Then that goes right there and let’s see here I think I may have to do that again so let’s go ahead and let’s do that again here and then if we go ahead and we place that right there replace this here and then we place this here it’s

Going to again immediately tick just like that and then we go ahead and we hit that button again there just like that I hope I didn’t screw myself just now I don’t think that I did um let’s see here I know that I can place this right there

But wait a minute um well there’s no way I can permanently have screwed myself because I can just remove the wood that’s right there so that’s not really a problem but I need to get let’s see I need to figure out how to get this let’s

I need to figure out how to get a block like right here so I think this is still the right idea so let’s go ahead let’s remove this let’s get another block in the way there because I think that’s what I still need to do and let’s figure

Out the rest of it from here all right looking at it some more I can very clearly tell there’s some kind of parkour that I need to do over to here so I think the main point is to get one block in the way so that you can jump

From there to there to there so I need to do this exactly one more time just like this and then press the button oh god whoops oh wait a minute hmm yeah okay so then I need to push that block right there just like that

And then wait I wonder if I can press or push the blocks around a lot no I don’t think so so now I see that there’s that sticky piston area over there and I need to get a signal over there somehow for some reason but now that there’s a block

Right there where I can immediately make that jump I can go ahead and I can get rid of the rest of these I think even if like it’s the wrong answer I can fix it later so let’s go ahead and let’s also remove the repeaters and figure out what else

We need to do from here all right here’s something that I just figured out it’s a little weird and it’s a little convoluted but I think it might actually be the answer if I go ahead and I place down wooden blocks along this just like this I can actually push the

Wooden blocks all the way down that way because I have enough of them so if I go ahead and I just keep doing this here until I get all the way down to the end I should be able to attach a wooden block to that sticky piston over

There and now I can go ahead and I can remove all of these which it does fortunately actually move them straight into my inventory here and then I can go ahead and I can get that block to be extended so just like that

So now what I need to do is I need to basically just get a block right here and I just need to move so that’s where we go to do I don’t think this will actually be too hard at all so if I go ahead and I parkour up here I parkour up

Here let’s see how can I actually do this here so now yeah I need to get up here with this whole thing retracted so I don’t think that’s gonna be too hard let me actually break this just to see what it does so there’s that so yeah I

Need to get up to there and I don’t think that’ll be that hard let me just figure this out here all right there we go so I think I actually have the entire stage ready to complete here so I can place a wooden block right here if I go

Ahead and I place a wooden block right there and push it up and that works this block got here because I did the same method that I just did before where I used these two Pistons and extending this one out in order to push a block

Right there so I can parkour from here to there to there to there and I can actually make the jump up to there I just did it so let me go ahead let me do it again here so BAM there we go and now I think we have ourselves a completed

Stage that one actually took forever to do so Wow alright now we have nine of these okay it actually did just erase my inventory here and then I have actual redstone so this can be used to break redstone dust and repeaters and wooden planks so it basically can be used to

Remove everything that is on the stage so this stage is called the getaway and we need to get away we need to figure out basically how to looks as if to remove this which means I need to unpowered that which means I need to power

That but I need to do it in such a way that somehow let’s see I can’t I’m not sure if I can actually break anything yeah I don’t think I can break anything like that in order I think it’s the intention or wait a minute can i oh my

God wait a minute wait a minute can I cheat see doodle stage I can cheat see due to the stage why did he allow that why did he allow that I don’t actually that may have been the wrong answer I can still place it back if that’s not it

But um yeah the idea is to make it so that this door doesn’t close and this one opens I mean he should have made the wall taller if that wasn’t the intention so we shall see but um dang this light kind of might be it here

I don’t know but let’s see if I want to let’s see what I can think I can do is I can do that or let’s actually move this here super quickly if I go ahead let’s see what’s on the other side of this wall I do have a repeater so if I go

Ahead and I do something like that and then I think I think I’m cheesy doodling this here but it’s okay he did oh wait a minute you can only place this on wood can I still do this here just like that okay and then if I go ahead and I do

This uh yeah if I can only place the red stone on planks and this is gonna be seriously problematic before five wait a minute one two three four five oh I need to use repeater that’s fine okay and that’s that’s the stage I think it was supposed to be more difficult than

That but if it wasn’t I mean that’s a thing I don’t know like the wall should have been taller there I’m sorry if I’m breaking your stage but that’s the end of the I liked it I just I don’t think the intention was for me to do that I

Wonder if I can figure out the stage properly let’s see I’m trying to think as to how I could maybe flip this around right here I don’t know but yeah IIIi did it I did it you guys I did it oh there’s no going up that stairs the

Stairs are there nothing so that was a really fun map I do think yeah that needs to be patched but otherwise it was a very very cool map and I did have a lot of fun actually doing these sorts of redstone challenges I like it how I like

How this guy structured it where you almost create your own checkpoints by getting the blocks in the correct places it’s not like you need solve one massive puzzle all at once but it’s almost like three micro puzzles within each stage and I really like that
