Hey guys what’s up today we’re gonna be taking a look at the uncensored library which is a map in Minecraft which you can either join the server for or you can download the offline single-player file lock I have and it lets you in Spore a library that has some pretty Interesting information so just the background for it there was 24 builders for this map from 16 different countries and this is a huge virtual library which houses information on all 180 countries in the Press Freedom Index as well as a special exhibition hall on five countries notorious for their press Censorship which includes Russia Vietnam Mexico Egypt and Saudi Arabia the library will be hosted on a server for a year allowing anyone around the world to visit regardless of press censorship in your country and the library is also free to download and play in single player that was took right off their Website I will link you guys with the download for this map if you want to play it offline and I will also include the IP for anyone interested in joining online and maybe talking what some people would be pretty cool the main reason that I downloaded this for an Offline map is because in the server it actually limits you in the field of view distance that you can see it looks like it’s a lot shorter on the most player than the single player so I’ll show you guys what I mean so as you walk up this Is what you’ll see at the beginning there’s a golden pressure plate that would teleport you straight over to the library but I do want to show you guys around on the map because it’s pretty cool so like if I was in the server right now where my cross areas would be Cut off and it wouldn’t load the rest this allows me to render up to 32 chunks at a time to show you guys the world so as you load in this is what you’re going to see and it’s very beautifully decorated on the outside as you can see Here there’s a lot of stuff that you can go over to the side and see and I’m going to show you guys just how massive this library is I know how to take a very long time to make so if you go over this way it’s very beautifully decorated with Flowers and trees and different kind of designs I’m just all kinds of things you can go over here and check out and honestly the map this looks pretty beautiful you can definitely tell that they took their time on this and did have a lot of people contributing to This to try to make the map and you can see just how massive this minecraft library is you know this how to take them a very long time it’s so big that I can’t render it out in the max chunks allowed for Minecraft at a time this is Like 32 chunks I’m not even wine yeah 32 chunks and it’s just not loading the whole map that’s how crazy it is so as you can see here this is the library and they took inspiration from a lot of different things I will link you to the Website so that you can see that on your own it was inspired to try to be like more cultural and everything instead of just like a straight-up normal looking library so as you can see here the game does kind of lag as you get closer to The library and doesn’t want to load all the chunks but that’s pretty much the whole length of the library so let’s go ahead and we’ll go inside and we’ll take a look at it and see what you guys think I’m actually gonna walk into it instead Of fun into it so you guys can get some first impressions of course it’s not gonna probably load all the inside just yet but the first thing you come up to is this book and if we take a look at it says welcome to the uncensored library from Reporters Without Borders and you Can scroll through different pages here and you can also take the book if you want to and I believe that’s a map of the world and what’s cool is it looks like a globe so it’s not like flat it actually does look like a globe so that’s actually really cool I like how This was made I think that’s really awesome whoever made this that’s a pretty cool idea imagine walking into a library and this is what you see in the middle like that’s insane that’s pretty cool there’s a book here too so it’s gonna show you all of the countries included In the freedom eand index which count up to 180 and as you can see here oh so if we look at the top um it looks like flags from all 180 countries not sure what flags are what to be exact with you but it’s pretty massive in size as you Can see there’s just a crazy amount of flags up here so we’re gonna check these out so if you come up to them they do have books for each one okay guys not sure what happened there but we had an issue with the recording so I kind of Step back for a second so we’re gonna take a look at one of these cuz there’s books for each flag kind of tells you a little bit about it so this is Portugal freedom Price Index ranked twelve from 180 and you can see there there’s a different type of book for each country I do believe yes this one’s ranked for five from 180 so I’m not sure what the freedom index or the Press Freedom Index is I’m not really sure what that is but that’s pretty cool are they in order so this is number No okay it’s not order so That’s rank 21 over 180 rank 23 from 180 so there’s books for each one that kind of gives you some information on that and if we go up believe there’s another four yes there is and this will also show you some different things and right here it shows you what the flag is That’s what a mall at Brazil Ecuador Peru not sure if I said that right and you can even kind of look out here and see don’t really think that you can get out here normally but that’s pretty cool how they have this you can see kind of the Top of the library from here that’s really cool so let’s go ahead and we’ll go back inside just for a moment and let’s see if there’s another four looks like there is and this is the very very top which is also pretty cool And if we take a look at the top you can just see how massive this thing is once you get up top so there’s different halls for different countries so there’s one two three four or five six six halls I think I read earlier oh there’s halls for five countries so Maybe they’re included in these halls I’m gonna go down here and look because I think that we looked at everything from the middle so let’s see there is an entrance to this so let’s see what’s in here we’re gonna go kind of the underground route for this one and it’s Pretty cool why they have that little bridge there for this one if you walk into here it’s a different part of the library and different design that’s for sure and it’s this water this is water okay um it’s that binary I believe that’s binary under here see that’s all Zeros and ones you believe that’s binary so let’s go take a look at these books and see what see what these are that’s kind of intriguing that it’s got a lot binary there so this is Russia so you can read the books in Russian and if you Go to the other side they are translated to English so this is the battle is not won by Alexandria scub off I think I said that right so you can read through this and it has a lot of different information there and this is another book that Russian internet under Pressure and I really want to know what these zeros and ones is that’s pretty neat I’m assuming there’s something to probably find out here to activate something but it’s really cool how this is made we’re gonna continue on and go inside here oh did you hear that hope There’s a book right here wonder if this tells us anything nope so this is 149th of 180 countries and it does have some information there that you can read through I am gonna read through that on my own own Tom not really ignoring them don’t really want to read them on video Because it would just mate for a very very long video trying to show you guys as much of this library as I can so come here and there’s a little fountain so here’s another country so let’s see what’s in here so different design it’s kind of like a maze and this says the Librarian of truth which is really cool and it’s a maze that will lead you all the way over to the books if you wish to participate and this is in English and Vietnamese which is really cool different books here there’s two per to prayer halls so far that I’ve saw and Then there’s the way out so this is one of the how many halls do we count was at six but it said there’s five exhibitions when I read it on the website so let’s go check out what we’re missing so I believe that’s the entrance now like These statues of the books that’s pretty cool let’s go over in this hall and see what’s listed over here we’re gonna go left and I walked it as on of this room it kind of looks like a cage like a Faraday cage or something this is Saudi Arabia ranked 172 out of 180 countries from the pre doom freedom Price Index or something like that Saudi this one has three books which is pretty cool and if we go over to the other side there is oh these are audiobooks that is really cool so if you if you can speak Arabic this would be Really cool to listen to cuz these are all audiobooks that’s really cool so if you can speak Arabic you can actually see these in audio books in English you can only breathe through so that’s really cool and kind of the same design overall like when you kind of look up But the middle always has something different for each country which is pretty cool and we go here this one looks pretty insane what is this there’s no book here maybe this is the one that isn’t counted for they’re booked here there is a book here borders are sf4 freedom of information Okay so this is just about them so that makes it up for all that spills that’s so cool look at this spills truth that’s insane I wasn’t expecting that so that spells truth and if you look at it from the side it looks like nothing At all what about if we look at it from this other side does it look like anything no it doesn’t that is insanely cool what says truth so that is the one that was missing because I was like there is six halls but there’s five countries listed on this website And it spells truth that’s pretty cool not gonna lie there’s a lot of detail in this map and this right here is insane to seeing the whole world into a map in Minecraft that looks like a globe it doesn’t look flat that’s crazy so if you go over here this is gonna be Mexico which is ranked 144 of 180 countries on the freedom press index thing I’m saying that right so we have an English version it’s just one book in here and we also have a Spanish version of the book but there is also paintings or photos I should say of important People in Mexico history that is pretty cool if they actually got like the custom images made and put into the game very very neat so you can take a look at this if you’re interested in that and we’re not gonna spend too much time on it because again I’m trying to not make An insanely long video I kind of want to show you guys my view of the map since I’ve not really looked at the map before so Mexico on this side and I believe this is the last country that we’re running into so this one is Egypt which Is ranked 163 out of 180 on the World Press Freedom Index so what is number one we come here and there is another audio book in Arabic which is really really cool and if we go over to the other side there’s two English books so all the Audiobooks seem to be in Arabic and maybe they’ll come out with some English versions I’m not really sure and it would also be cool to see some of these translated to other languages as well um that would be cool as well but pretty cool presentation they got going on here Kind of like a balance of scalice thing and I believe that that is all the country shown as well as the middle oh yeah that’s pretty much been the uncensored library you guys want to check this map out I will leave the link for the offline map like I’m doing here Or I’ll also leave the server IP for anyone who wishes to go to the online server and who knows you might be able to meet some very cool people in there and kind of talk about some things this should be open to anybody as long as minecraft is not blocked in your country And didn’t notice this before but it kind of shows where you’re at and wherever things at so that is pretty cool as well so yeah I definitely give this map a look at it’s been a very interesting map probably the most interesting minecraft map that I’ve seen And we’ll this map spark more of these libraries or maybe bring more people to make something that is censored in countries available in Minecraft kind of curious to see how that’s all gonna pan out but that’s pretty much it for this video if you guys want to see more be Sure to LIKE comment and subscribe and let me know in the comments what you guys want to see and thanks for watching I will see you in the next one peace Video Information
