A tip on mob spawners mom spawners have been in the game for quite a while and if you ever wanted to change them say if you were in creative and you were making a map and you wanted the spawner to spawn something other than say the default pig it was really

Really really difficult crazy commands all sorts of making sure that your syntax was correct in parentheses in the right place really really confusing in the 1.8 update they have changed all of that now there is a great tip that i have for you to change the thing that the spawner

Spawns so let me show it off so here we are in a little minecraft world that i spun up uh now first how do you get a minecraft mob spawner they’re actually called monster spawners in the game but all you have to do is do the give command and

You have to obviously be opt or in some sort of cheat mode so give omg chad and we’re going to say mob minecraft and the mo for mob spawner uh these on the wiki are the monster spawner and if you hover over it it’s monster spawner but give mob spawner is

What you are going to do now if you have this spawner you can see that it doesn’t have anything in it if you’ve ever encountered one of these in the world whatever monster is inside of the mob spawner monster spawner that’s going to get difficult really fast uh is the one

That will spawn so when it’s given to you it’s just going to be in its default state which if you set it down is going to be a pig and there we go we already have a pig spawned in here now there used to be a way that you could give the

Correct spawner to yourself and or you know you could always use command blocks to summon in stuff instead of actually spawning them and you could use nbt tags to make sure that these spawners did the right thing and pointed them all over you can still do all of that of course

But here is a very very simple and amazing hi piggy an amazing tip on how to change these guys open up your inventory go to miscellaneous and see all these little spawn eggs well you can actually change the spawner into any of these spawn eggs by grabbing

One put in your inventory i chose the rabbit and then hitting the spawner and you can see inside of there now it has changed this is a super simple way to change the spotter isn’t that awesome so here let’s throw down a few other of these pig spawners we’re going to get a

Whole bunch of pigs here oh my god so many pigs but just to show it off uh let’s grab some creepers let’s grab some i want some bats yeah some bats uh wolves why not and of course squids hey of course squids there you go now

You can see squid let’s uh spawn this wolf let’s spawn a creeper and let’s spawn some bats oh look the rabbits are already here and these work wonderfully i absolutely adore this tip i actually found it while researching omg craft and hallelujah i will use this

All that there’s a wolf where is he going he’s going to attack that sheep oh my gosh we need to make a sheep spawner fast and so anyway this will work with all of these spawn eggs as i said before now this won’t work for things like uh

Things that don’t have spawn eggs that would be like the wither or the iron golem but you could always just make those in your world or use command blocks to summon them in i hope that you have enjoyed this super simple effective awesome tip i
