Hey guys welcome back tango here and today what i have for you is a brand new fully automatic potion brewing system that i got to tell you i am very excited to show you this thing is amazing okay so when i was designing this i was i was Mostly focusing on two major aspects that would be the speed of brewing and the ease of use now for the speed of brewing you can see we have four distinct brewing bays here now these things are gonna brew your potions in parallel so completely at the same Time here so you’re gonna get a nice 4x output on your brewing output productivity here which is a nice increase from most designs out there uh and then ease of use over here you can see you got a nice little control panel here you can select just The ingredients you want so i got some melon some gunpowder i got a nice little splash potion of healing up on deck here uh and of course you always get the trailing nether wart there uh and then once you go you’re gonna turn this thing on just like this okay you’re getting a Nice little light display here letting you know that a batch is being released through the system and it will fill up this first potion brewing bay here you can see the melon is there and the gunpowder is behind the scenes there okay and then shortly thereafter you’re gonna it’s gonna automatically Distribute the second batch right there it goes and that is going to go into the second brewing bay here there it is right there again with the melon and it’s gonna continue first second third and fourth and it’s gonna brew them all at the exact same time like i said and Then once they’re all done automatically without you having to do anything it’s gonna refresh and start the system again here comes the third one right now it should be coming in there we go there it is so very nice very nice output on the brewing speed here okay uh and then of Course the best thing about this is you don’t need to monitor your brewing ingredients here so if you’re in the middle of brewing this thing you could just leave and walk away you don’t have to worry about like running out of gunpowder or any ingredient for that Matter because as soon as you run out of any of these selected ingredients the system is going to automatically turn off and not brew anymore which is a fantastic feature in my opinion you don’t need to worry about wasting ingredients or having like a whole chest full of potions that you really didn’t Want because it didn’t have the splash the gunpowder or whatever the case may be you don’t have to come in here beforehand and pre-check your ingredients make sure that they’re in the right multiple of some number or anything like that it’s just it’s just gonna work okay so let’s take a quick Look around the back here show you all the redstone so as you can see this is the ingredient detection system right here that’s automatically gonna turn your system off once you are out of any single ingredient uh over here nestled in the corner is kind of the brains of The operation this is the scheduling and timing system that is going to release the batches into the bays at the correct and optimal timing and then of course back here you have all of your brewing bays and hoppers to deliver the ingredients correctly with you know correct Detection of when to release the potions into the output chest below there uh and then over here of course you have your nice little uh handy water crafting station so you can just nestle yourself up here craft your water bottles you know fill up your fill up your inventory Of course i’m in creative now but once you have your uh bottles all sitting there in the chest you have four chests here where you can just shift click them all in here so to fill them all up very rapidly and these water bottles will go In and fill up each of these chests in turn here so you could have a nice backlog not to worry about filling up your chest either um and now in terms of the output like right now i just have them going into these chests right here But you could very easily use a hopper system to join these up to one big output system or some mass storage system uh whatever works for you okay if you like what you see then let’s get started building this thing so what i’m gonna do here is build out like a a Quick vertical slice of the main ingredient selection panel here so a couple blocks out like that from a lamp and then a dropper pointing up with another lamp coming out at an angle like that and another block up on an angle like that so you get a nice little kind Of uh curve shape there okay and then put an item frame right there so just like that and obviously make sure the dropper is pointing up okay that is one unit go ahead and repeat that 13 more times so you have 14 of these things all Lined up in a line and you should be looking something like this now and then once you have it done go ahead and add a bunch of levers on the front face just like i did here uh with the exception of the last slot that is going to be your Netherwart so don’t worry about adding the lever there because you pretty much always want another work uh and then once you have that in go ahead and start adding your ingredients to the item frames uh just keep in mind that the ingredients are processed from left to Right so on your left here needs to be things like your melon and all your primary ingredients like that and then down here you want to have like your redstone glowstone and gunpowder and then the only exception is the last slot always needs to be a trailing in Other words so this is where your netherwork goes right there okay let’s swing it around back now and get started on some of the redstone but first we’re gonna add four blocks just like they’re kind of continuing the floor and throw a lever right there and Turn it on now that lever is optional i will say it’s mostly there just to kind of indicate that you’re always going to be selecting another work but i kind of like it uh now from there uh skipping the light that is this lit up there start putting redstone torches on the Backs of all of these blocks right here going all the way down you’re gonna hear your dispensers above click hopefully you didn’t put your items in yet or you’re gonna have to pick them up uh now from this first torch here come out right on that block right there and We’re gonna make a two wide little platform coming all the way out like this repeat it along the back here just like that and we’re going to grab some dust and some repeaters now and starting with dust there you’re going to alternate like so bang bang bang bang And then take repeaters and fill in all the gaps basically just having a a nice alternating signal here uh that is going to pick up from all of those uh torches that we just put in all right the next step is an easy one we are going to Basically bring a block up like that and another one up on another angle like so and put a torch on the back right there and another one right there and go ahead and just repeat that and send it all the way down the line there okay this is a Good checkpoint here to just kind of double check make sure everything is looking good here give it a once-over make sure everything is exactly as you see it here uh yeah this top line here when this is powered in any means whatsoever that means that you are out of some of the Ingredients that you have selected um in this case we are out of the netherwort because that’s automatically selected you can see the torch on right there that is causing it uh so just so you know what that line means okay now we’re going to add our hopper line here that Is going to distribute the items and a little bit more redstone on top so go ahead and add a temporary block right there and go ahead and add your first hopper there so it’s pointing into that block and you can just break that block when you’re done uh what we’re basically Gonna be doing here is making a hopper chain pointing down into that hopper so holding shift you just keep clicking on the previous hopper there bring it all the way down like this until you get to the end right there okay now take a solid block and again shift click on top Of that first hopper right there and then we’re going to add dust everywhere else so add dust on all these lamps here like this and then we’re gonna add dust on top of all of the hoppers okay so shift click all that in there you’re gonna have a Nice little mess here and we’ll clean it up in a second and then take some more blocks and go ahead and clip this line here because you can see how these guys are connected here we need to clip those so run solid blocks all the way down until the end here so you Should be looking something like this okay moving on now back on the starting end where we got everything kicked off here we are going to build a little uh diminishing pulse extender here which is going to light up all this redstone here and because the system is going to slowly Fade off that is not only going to give us that little light show that we saw before these lights are gonna you know burn down but more importantly it actually has functionality in it it’s going to release each of these hoppers in turn allowing the items to kind of Flow away and break away from the pack because uh as many guys know hoppers have this really evil tendency of kind of reordering the items that go through them if they’re if they’re bunched up too closely so that is what this system right here we’re gonna do is going to uh Solve here which is kind of kind of nice i think so add a torch right here on the end of the line and then uh skipping a block put a block down right here another one there another one there come up a block and then over here like That okay and this is going to be again our pulse extender that is going to kind of fade the signal off here actually block right there okay so it should be looking like that so far um add another dust up here like that and another block on top of the Comparator right there another block here and then come up another block like that and go in right there okay and then we’re gonna go comparator there and comparator there now the reason we’re using comparators here is because we want to like carry the signal strength but not refresh it Which is what a repeater would do so that’s gonna maintain the same power without losing any signal strength going up there so again you should be looking like this now and all those lights should light up now to test this real quick what you want to do is just go Ahead and break that torch and you’ll see your lights are slowly going to diminish and pull down if that doesn’t happen then recheck what you just did here and watch what i did and do it again and then of course don’t forget to put your torch back in and i should have Mentioned now is also a good time to kind of kind of bring up these walls here um as you want this is obviously aesthetic here but it seems to kind of match the pattern to make it consistent and look nice there so just bring those up and carry them in however you want Okay over on the front left side now we’re gonna leave some of that complex redstone in the back corner there all the timing systems to later and instead get started on the left side in the uh the brewing bays so grab another block right there another couple on the floor Right there a redstone lamp with a lever on it right there that’s gonna be the system that that’s gonna be the obviously the switch that turns the whole system on and another couple blocks just like that now to get started on the first brewing bag go ahead and add a block right there That’s where your double chest is going to sit on top of and then from there come up a couple blocks like this and we need to get an upside down stair right there okay so that you have an air gap again for the chest and a stair so that doesn’t Block the chest from being uh closed and then grab some more blocks skip a gap right there bring these up and kind of square it off so you’re looking just like that again with the the upside down stair in the back there and then grab some more Stairs these this doesn’t have to be stairs but i kind of like them i think they they tie in well here and add three of those that is one bay or is going to be one bay okay now take that and repeat that uh three more Times so that we have four of them going down all right with your four brewing base complete it should be looking something like this here i also punched out a little bit of the floor here right there there and there because that is where we’re gonna have some double chest If you plan to go with the simple output system uh so here we go swinging around back now go ahead and add some double chest on top of all of these blocks right here these are going to hold your potions just as more of a back store And also because if you want to just add potions from the front you can uh you can still do that now uh add some more is if you want to do the simple output system with the four chests then go ahead and add double chests inside each of those little grooves there And then take more hoppers or some hoppers i should say and uh just shift click them into the back of each of those chests okay and now grab the ever important brewing stand and shift click them on top of each of those hoppers just like that now if you want to do a More complex or maybe possibly more convenient output system don’t want to have all these chests but want to merge the systems then i would just do something probably like this where um i have the hopper lines go down like this you get the idea um it’ll Basically be the same way just have the line go there and then this is your output right here whatever you want to do with that um and then if that’s the case you can obviously like put a slab or whatever you want on top of that to Hide that hopper if you want but for this we’re gonna we’re gonna stick with uh the simple output here so let me just add those chests back like that and we’re going to go all right now behind the scenes here what i’m going to do is Show you how to build uh the kind of the bottle release system and the timing to just get the ingredients in correctly for one of these bays and i’m gonna have you repeat it for the other three after that so from here now grab a hopper and shift Click it into the side of the brewing stand so it’s going directly in like that and then do another one right up on top like that so that one should be pointing straight down and in grab a normal block right there on the side of That guy and now we need a slab right there a top slab with a comparator on top of it like this solid block up like that and then another one down there and then two more like that right there so we’re looking at this here again block slab comparator Block skip a gap and then two blocks down there right there repeater and then we’re gonna go dust and dust okay so that comparator signal once it reached signal length two we’ll hit that repeater and lock that guy right there lock that hopper down below now grab a Couple more blocks and go right there and there we have dust on both of those and then a torch on that sl on that block right there which will lock that hopper and stop more bottles from going in uh when we need to so there you go Double check that and build that little uh setup on the next on the next three little bays down there all right once you get all those hoppers in then just go ahead and add some solid blocks on top of all of them that don’t have dust mostly just to prevent items from Accidentally falling in there and kind of screwing up your system all right so now on the back here we need to add the kind of the system that’s going to let us know when the batch is complete and we’re ready to start a new batch so From this uh last bay here come up on an angle just like that put a couple dust like that another block right there and a repeater right there leave it on default tick and then carry this line on top of all of them down until it gets Even with this uh first chest right there and then go ahead and put dust on top of all of them just like that all right so easy step right now what we need to do is add a line uh of redstone that’s gonna be able to lock these Hoppers right here to prevent items that are flowing across from going down into the bay so place a block right there and then take that line of blocks and just carry it all the way down all the way down like that and then put some dust on Top of all of it so again what this is going to do here is this is going to be a redstone signal length that is going to be increasing by three uh every time we we brew a batch so the first batch it’ll be open here and the items that come in Will get flowing into this hopper here because this will not be powered but then this will get powered here the signal will extend locking this hopper here which means the next batch that comes in will flow right across here because this hopper can’t pull the items in okay which means it’s Going to go over here and go into that one that’s going to get locked and then we’ll go into that one uh and so forth all right it is time it is time to do this back corner here which has got some a little bit of crazy redstone going on Here so i will do my best to take it in small clear steps so hopefully you have no trouble following along here so step one is from our light here okay go ahead and put a torch right there now from the side of that torch come out three blocks Just like that okay not under the torch but off to the side just like that and then you’re gonna build a little two by two platform up on an angle like that and put dust on those bottom three and then on these three right there leaving That one with no dust so looking just like that and next step now we’re gonna add a little bit more blocks a few more blocks down below so add a little l pattern coming off on a corner like this so those three blocks right there which uh Kind of are right underneath these three blocks of the two by two above it uh drop down another one right there and then go back up so that it comes over three down and then up like that and put dust on top of all those one two three Four five and then put a torch right there and a torch right there and you should be good to go okay moving on now what we are going to do is build a little uh hopper based pulse extender that’s going to control the timing for the release of our batches so three Blocks out like that and then another one up like that okay and what we’re gonna do is grab some hoppers and get them facing into each other so shift click them so that they’re both basically facing into each other just like that okay we need a comparator Coming out of there and a repeater pointing into that one couple dust there and there and another block right there on the side there and with a comparator coming out and that’s going to read that one and that’s going to be our signal let us know when we’re ready to start the next Batch and then important step here grab 20 blocks and put them into this uh left side right there as you’re facing right here 20 bucks all right moving it on now go ahead and cover up your two hoppers there and then three blocks on top of those in a line like That with three more down on the side just like that so that little step up there okay dust dust dust dust so it should connect with that one over there and we’re gonna go two repeaters there and there and put these on maximum tick so four tick delay right There come up a block and another one right there another repeater right there also on maximum tick and another dust right there here we go moving up toward the top of all this nonsense here we’re going to go another block up just like that and be Sure to throw a little bit of dust on top of it now grab a dropper coming out of that blocker right there and a hopper shift click shift clicking it back into that dropper this can be a little counter system here that we’re going to Build and put a dust on top of the hopper there okay now inside the dropper go ahead and put four uh like wooden shovels or any item that doesn’t stack at all okay and put them inside there and what basically what’s gonna happen is this is gonna tick and push items Over and the system releases they’re all gonna funnel back in and that’s gonna signal signal like a whole new batch is to allow us to start there uh and then down below here block coming out of the dropper on an angle like that with a comparator right there that’s going to Allow us to obviously read the signal of how many items are inside that dropper now here we go in the upper top corner here we’re going to need to add a solid block there and a slab right there okay so that dust there is going to go up the Slab and onto the solid block right there now swing it around from the solid block put a dropper facing out and we need to get another dropper facing into that one now so i’m going to put a couple down here just like this as temps There we go so you want to end up with this two droppers facing into each other just like that now a couple blocks out and then break this one right there and put a redstone torch on this guy right there he’s the one that’s going to power That block right there and now from here we should be looking at one little stair step just like this and one more dust on top of there so that signal there should line up with a step step to power that torch and turn it off which is going to Uh work this little toggle system we got going here uh now from down below here one more little thing is we have to have a comparator coming out of this guy into that hopper right there so solid block and a comparator which should meet up with that dust we just placed earlier Which will be the uh the thing that’s going to lock that hopper right there and then go ahead and just grab any item and throw it into that uh dropper right there okay real quick step now coming out of this hopper here that we just got done Powering uh we want to take some slabs here uh you can actually just pull it off of this line that we already got going here so one two three and uh add a comparator on top of it to read the signal or read the contents of That hopper but the key thing now we want to make sure is we have actually three slabs after the comparator there so actually go ahead and break that guy and make him a slab as well so one two three okay that’s gonna have to do with the water distribution system the bottle Distribution system is gonna tuck under there and we don’t wanna block it off with solid block so uh comparator out of the hopper and three slabs uh just like this before it goes back into the solid blocks over here all right moving into some tight quarters down here now we’re gonna swoop Down the bottom here again okay and we need to add a little uh a block right there so this three does here we place the while back block there it should go right up against uh that dust there but won’t be affected by it so those three into that block put a Torch on top of it okay just showing it from different angles and a block on top of that torch and that should line right into our main line here which is going to power all of our droppers for a new batch so just like that okay torch block On top of it so anytime this torch goes off and on real quick that is going to signal a whole new batch to fire so yeah all right we’re almost done in the back corner here we just need a couple connect a couple signals to turn the system off when appropriate so From this line here which if you remember this is our line that says we are out of one of the selected ingredients place a block right there adjacent to the vertical torch there and another one coming out on an angle down like that dust on the first one and a Repeater on the second one right there now we need a couple blocks one coming out of or one for the comparator to point into and one for the repeater to point into like that okay so just showing you from different angles over here now how it’s all looking and then down below here Uh we need to duck down a block and make like a little a little divot right here okay so and put some dust on all of them so dust there and dust there i know it’s tight here i’m gonna uh excessively walk around here just so you can see how it’s Going so this repeater will power this block into the line below it this comparator over here is going to power a torch which we need to power right there so put make sure you get a torch on the back side right there uh when that comp when that comparator is powered it will Disable that torch okay um but down below here you can see the the little divot that the redstone goes into and pops back up so i think that should do it i think it should be pretty clear how to do this again just double check everything and Make sure it is all set up correctly all right so there is one little piece here that i forgot to hook up here down here when we built our hopper pulse extender here i need to hook this up to the main line right here and i did not do that so Add a block coming out of that comparator going up right there and then bring that one over one do a repeater right there and dust on top of it okay and that will take that signal and bring it back into the main kind of loop over there so definitely don’t forget that All right here we go swinging it back around the front now um any time now it’s fine to add your ingredients to the droppers and get your labels in and all that stuff go ahead and do that whenever you feel like at this point um you can Also add some blocks um along the top of these stairs to kind of finish out the look or you can go one block in front if you prefer that whatever works for you uh but what i want to do now is work on the water bottle distribution system to Fill up those chests now this is completely optional here if you prefer just to come by and put the items in this chest that’s why they’re out front here for a little bit easier uh the system i’m about to add will add another line of hoppers and Stuff so if hoppers are expensive for you you can’t really afford them this is a an optional system here but uh from here now you’re gonna skip a block and come up like a nice little uh like a like a little box like that okay and from here come one in the back Because that’s where our water is going to go but real quick first add chests there and there and then some there and there okay and we’re gonna grab a hopper and take the items from this chest into this chest shift click there so that they float in like that Now over on this side here we need trap chests so let me grab a couple of those here and basically do the same little system here there and there and then we’re going to go there and there with a another hopper facing in there okay now these guys here you can do like Slabs in front here um to kind of cover up and do whatever you want you know to keep it looking nice and then go back to solid over here solid here and bring this down here to kind of anchor the system again this is however you feel looks appropriate here Whatever as long as you can you know make sure that you can open all four of these chests here um and then from here now take your hopper line and you’re gonna have a hopper line go down this line of blocks down there so let’s start down here actually uh coming Into this first uh bay here into this first uh bottle storage test here hopper there and then from the back side you’re gonna want to connect hopper right there okay so that it’s like that again this is why we have those slabs there so we don’t lock that so uh hopper Chain coming underneath there one vertical one right there and fall to your death hop back up here and you’re gonna put a hopper chain now shift clicking all the way down this line here okay now i do realize that some of these power lines here will lock these hoppers but they’re So rarely powered that bottles will will more than adequately keep up with the the demand of the brewing system okay and i just want to connect this to uh these two chests here so bring this around a couple more like this underneath right there and then honestly This one you can do whatever you want here you can go straight into there if you want you get the idea um but all four of these chests now will supply these this line going down there okay and then just go ahead and put solid blocks on top of all of these hoppers Here just to make sure nothing falls in okay now finally for the water bottle distribution system in the back here we’ve got them all going into this first chest here we also need to add lines into those other three chests so very simply put just come up to each of these behind And shift click into the side of the chest there so that’s going into the side and then shift click two of these into each other boom boom just like that okay and i know you can’t see it but that’s underneath this guy right there so i should be good to go there pretty Easy uh again shift click into there and then two more and then shift click into the side and then two more okay and that is going to allow items that any bottles that go into these chests will flow into uh this chest first then this one this one then This one and fill up all those hoppers that’s a nice backlog and all these has a nice backlog keep in mind now though that like some of the bottles may not go directly into this chest here because this line is powering that hopper there but as soon as you turn the System on they’ll flow in so it may not look like they’re being distributed but just once you get the system moving and cranking everything will start flowing uh other than that now we just need to add a bar right there with water there and then you can actually add like a uh Crafting bench right there if you want go ahead and finish this out and uh there you go you should be getting pretty close to done here all right now for the final step but very important step before we can test this thing out here we need to kind of prime each of Our brewing stands here okay so uh the first thing we need to do is put one nether wart in the top of the room and this is the only time we’ll manually need to do it um after after that one time every other batch is going to end With another wart so it’ll reset it to having another waiting to brew but the first one first batch there we need to manually put one in and then go ahead and add your uh blaze powder to the uh blaze powder input obviously over here now A lot of you guys are gonna say that why don’t i have an automated blaze powder input but let me tell you all right a stack of blaze powder each blaze powder brews like 20 potions and there’s you could put 60 i mean you could literally Brew like 1200 potions from one stack of blaze powder so i really didn’t think an automated system is necessary so uh after you brew and brew and brew for days and weeks come by and replace the one stack there and you’ll be good to go uh all right we’re ready to test this Thing okay now for the test so i have just a little bit of watermelon in here and in other words we’re going to make very simple uh very simple healing potions here but i do want to show you in the back here in case you ever want to like completely reset the system Again you really shouldn’t need to do this but if you want to make sure all four shovels are on that side and make sure the uh the block is on that side there so shovel’s in the dropper and block over there but really again it’s not necessary because if you’re if You’re brewing and you stop and it’s on like the third spot over here as soon as you come in next time it’ll pick up and just pick up where you left off and do this last one over here so totally fine so here we go let’s let this thing fire Should get our first batch right away again those diminishing lines right there are not just for looks they’re actually this this redstone line pulling here and allowing each item a chance to kind of freely go through that hopper chain so here’s the here’s the first item brewing with the watermelon behind It and here comes the second batch which should appear right here right now there it goes excellent with the watermelon behind it and there should be a uh what do you call it there’s a another word on top of there too which is going to fill in third batch should be coming shortly Go there we go and that’s going to fill up right here takes a little bit longer so the reason the batches are so far apart is because like when you release another one from here it’s got to go down this hopper chain and all the way over here to like The fourth guy over here so that’s why there’s quite a bit of gap between them so couldn’t make them any shorter here goes the fourth batch now you’ll see it does take a little bit of time the netherwart will appear there we go and the melon’s already there perfect uh so There you have it and then once this is done you can see these guys are finishing up now we’ve got our potion here these are some test ones i did down here but you can see those potions just went through uh this guy is going to finish up now And he’ll go in there so we are good to go here this thing is working hopefully this is going to suit your needs and meet all of your potion brewing wishes but as always guys if you appreciate this and like this tutorial please do me a favor hit that thumbs up i really Appreciate it and uh if you haven’t subscribed
