Hey what’s up youtube in this video i’ll be showing you how to make your very own wooden house and please remember that if you like this video to hit that like button it really helps me in the channel out lots and lots the amount of space Required to make the house is an 8 by 12 block area as represented by the white concrete grid on the ground which you are more than welcome to make if you do feel as though it will help you out here are all of the materials that we Will need to make our house please to make sure that you have access to all those materials and enough of them as well and now that we have all of our stuff we can get started step one ladies and gentlemen if you have made your grip Come to the front left hand corner of it we’re going to begin by placing four stripped birch on top of each other one two three four we then want to drop one block down and we want to extend this block to the right by four one Two three four we then want to extend up and then come back down and extend to the right again by four so one two three four we then want to extend that fourth block up by one but then we want to drop it back down to the ground again What we then want to do is we want to take the left side of the build and the right side of the build and on both sides we want to extend backwards by seven rows one two three four five six seven we want to use our stripped birch to do This so we’ll do this on the left side the right side and then inevitably we are also going to connect the back together as well so if you want to do that a little bit early you can just extend one of the sides backwards and then extend the That side over across so that it will join to the opposite front side of the build and then we can just join the remaining side together and the reason that i’m not having any windows or any such thing down here is because i’m actually having an underground farm if you want to add Windows and other details and of course you can mold your build the way that you like it so this is what we want to have so far we’re now going to use oakwood planks and we are going to place a horizontal row of oak wood across the top of the Inside of the front of our house so it just sits behind all of the birch we want to extend the middle of this area downwards using the oak plank so basically behind where that little notch of birch wood is we want to also have a row of oak We also want to have a row of oak on the left side of the house and the right side of the house as well to give us two 2×2 windows we want to fill those two windows in with either glass pane or glass block i’m using regular uncoloured glass I would also recommend placing something underneath the windows as well so i’m actually going to contrast a little bit i’m going to use the stripped birch instead of oak just because it adds a little nice effect in addition to this i’m going to place oak fence in front of All of the oak planks that we have in between the two windows like this and i’m pretty happy with the result so the next thing that we have to do is we have to make the upper living space of the house it’s rather easy to do we Want to grab the stripped oak wood we want to have a row of stripped oak wood on the left and right sides of the house like this so sat on top of the rows of it birch we then want to extend the oak wood forwards join it together horizontally left to Right like this we want to do the same on the back by the way so we want to extend the oak and we want to join it together so we essentially want to have a slightly bigger rectangle than what we already have then we want to raise up each one of the Four corners by five one two three four five and one two three four five and then we want to join them all together so however you really want to achieve this effect is kind of up to you but i’m just going to go around and extend up the Corners where need be and then just join the horizontal rows just like this so that is the effect that we’re looking for looks pretty cool on the front left and back sides of the build we actually want to have the same we want to have the same decoration Inside of our of our house we essentially want to have a rectangle of oak planks that sits inside of the oak wood like this you can see how it’s the same shape it’s just shrunken down and it’s also inside and then we’re going to have a giant Window we’re not going to pollute this area with anything else we’re just going to leave it nice and clean because downstairs is actually quite decorated so i like the contrast of it being quite clean and tidy upstairs and then we’re going to apply the same decoration to the right side of the Build or i suppose it depending upon how we look at it this is the left side of the house right if we look at it from the front and we also want to have the same thing on the back bear in mind you can have this any way You like meaning if you want to add less windows you can if you want to decorate them a little bit more you can i just i’m going for a simpler vibe i want this to be very easy to build and i like the quite clean style that it gives so the Right side is a tad bit different but we’ll treat it in the same way first we will extend the oak wood planks across the bottom we’ll extend oak wood planks across the turn and then all we’ve got to do is make room for a door So the door is going to be a double oak door here and the floor is going to be essentially where the actual oak wood is on the outside is where the actual floor is designed to be if that makes sense so it’s just underneath the window line And we’re going to have a double oak door in this position we’re going to place oak planks just next to the door a little bit of glass block above the double door and then glass pane in the remaining areas just like this so there we go i’m pretty happy with that um As for the remaining area up here i mean it’s kind of up to you how you want to fill it in i mean you can if you want to have quite a lot of space at the top like inside of the build if you want like quite a lot of space just Place glass directly on top of all of this just at a glass roof and then on the inside you know where the floor line is it’s here you’ll have four solid rows so it’ll actually be nice and airy inside which is great the next thing that we just have to do and Really honestly the last thing is we just have to add a staircase to the side rolling up to the side of the house extending into the entrance and it’s rather easy to do you essentially place rows of two birchwood stairs extending from the bottom from right hand corner Of the build rows of two birchwood stairs extending up and backwards until it meets the floor level it just so happens almost as if by accident but not really it just so happens that the stairs end where pretty much the actual entrance begins and we’re just going to Place a row of birch slabs like this just a two by two square because it fits in well with the already two um like pattern of stair that we’re using and then we’re simply going to place stripped birch wood around the edge of these stairs to make a staircase the Stripped birch wood is as high at the front as it is the back so the stripped birch wood wants to maintain the height and it wants to be as tall as uh essentially as tall as the bottom of the frame here as tall as where the planks are and it’ll end up Looking like this and it looks really nice because it’s it contrasts well it’s almost as if the bottom half of the house is one color the top half of the house is another and there’s a little bit of blend in between each so that’s kind of cool grab yourself the birchwood slabs above At this window here that we have towards the front of the build we’re going to place a row of birchwood slabs that extends backwards and joins to the frame so you’ve got one little block here on the front that we’ve left alone you could even extend it if you wanted to it Actually doesn’t make a big deal but we’re going to extend these slabs across by i believe it’s three rows but the point is so that it sits where we have the uh the staircase that we’ve just made we’re going to join these slabs down using oak fence like this here in This position and we’re also going to do it where else can we do it i mean we could do it here because then it’s like both sides of the entrance and then i don’t know if you’d want to do it one more time at the at the very edge here Because then you’ve got like a nice pleasing um two to two gap everywhere but ladies and gentlemen that is the house actually built there are absolutely no more structural changes that we’re really going to be making to the house only decorative decisions that i’m going to leave up to you so i’m Going to go away i’m going to decorate the house a little bit and you’ll be able to see whether or not you want to do a similar thing to me or whether you’ve got your own sort of plan so i’ll be back in just a moment so This is what your house could look like if you add a few finishing touches i have decided to add a couple of lanterns around the house i’ve added one above each of the windows that are on the front of the house i’ve also added one to the right as well just above the Little canopy that we have i’ve added some hedge around the house mainly around the base and you’ll also be able to see some next to the entrance as well just to add a bit of green to the house because it is a lot of wood the lanterns Also help with that as well kind of takes away from just like the pale earthly tones also inside the house i have decorated it in a survivorly fashion we have a double bed we have a brewing area every single crafting implement that you could possibly want we have all of the Bookshelves we have a nice little enchantment area but what i like is downstairs because we have an indoor farm and i really like it this feels very very survivally we have carrots we have potatoes beetroot and wheat and it’s just set out in such a way that it’s kind of like a little Raised farm and we just have all of these uh loads and loads of chests and storage and stuff it it just feels nice and cozy down here and that’s it ladies and gentlemen i do hope you guys have enjoyed this tutorial if you have please do remember to hit that like button as It really helps me the channel out very very much if you’re
