Hey what’s up youtube in this video i’ll be showing you how to make your very own wooden survival tree house mansion i have also designed the entire inside for you as well which you’ll get to see at the end of the video here are all of the materials that we need to Make our wooden tree house mansion please do make sure that you have access to all those materials and enough of them as well and now that we have all of our stuff we can get started so the first thing that we must do is make the trunk Of our tree very simple we want to begin with this sequence of blocks on the ground it’s better if you actually like look down at the ground as if you were a bird you want to place a row of one two three spruce wood next to each other you then Want to place a spruce wood back and right and then extend backwards by two place a spruce wood back and left left by two a spruce wood forwards and left and down by two so very simple shape it’s ascent it’s essentially a circle but it’s basically a square so we then want to Take all of these spruce and we want to add 16 blocks on top of them that’s a lot so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16. so we have to take every single spruce and we have to extend every Single spruce all the way up to be as high as that now can you make it taller this is a question that i sometimes get with these treehouse builds yes you can make it taller but can you make it shorter i wouldn’t recommend it this is what i would call The minimum height the reason that i would say that is because the way that we get up to the tree there is only one singular way unless you’re spider-man or george of the jungle or tarzan is that you climb up these stairs at the base of your tree And the stairs will as you look at it from the front rotate around the tree one entire time and it actually lines up rather nicely where it starts at the bottom it kind of sort of finishes in the same place at the top and you only get that Well not quite only but you get that with this minimum height and you can achieve that effect if you keep going higher and higher and it is very possible and it might even look better but if you go lower then that is something that you will not get It will not rotate around the tree a particular amount of times to look as good as it could possibly do so this is what we want to have so far ladies and gentlemen and we are going to work on the tree trunk as we have just Built it on the front of your trunk which you can designate as any one of these sides it doesn’t really matter it’s up to you at this moment in time you want to start off on the flat side of the trunk and you want to place a birch stair Out the side you then want to place two more extending upwards as stairs do along the flat side of your tree we’re going to be following some very simple rules on the flat sides of the tree we will have three sets of stairs on the corners we will have three birch planks We will then on the flat sides have three more stairs and then on the corners we will have three planks so on and so forth henceforth from from hence we will basically i don’t even know if that makes sense we will basically just keep going around that tree until we Have done almost one entire rotation we just have to add the birchwood planks here but on this particular case when we once again get to the front of our tree we want to extend the birchwood planks just to the right by two we’re going to knock out the middle Section of the tree here the middle strip of the tree we’re then going to place a spruce wood behind the middle block extend it upwards as if to make an indentation like this so the reason for that is because that is from here we’re going to place ladders And that will take us literally directly into the house some of the things that we have to do i would recommend placing upside down birchwood stairs underneath the set of stairs that climb all the way up and around your tree so it will just make it look a little bit Better a little bit chunkier i personally prefer the look what else can we do we can add some birch slabs or you can use dark oak but i kind of like the birch for this we can add some birchwood slabs around the flat parts around the planks that climb up the side Of the tree now if you place them in this sort of manner in which they kind of all connect together we can always change this a little bit as time goes on as long as you kind of place them and they all connect together in a particular manner kind of like this what You can then do is you can grab and we actually need a few different materials to be honest we we will be needing let’s get rid of the trapdoors for a second we won’t be needing the full glass block but what we do need is oak leaves we’ll Need birch fence and then we can exchange those a little bit later on so the purpose of this is that we can then on top of these slabs we can place birch fence like this so that will continue around on top of the slabs and we can Even extend the slabs a little bit backwards and we can i think that it’s best if the fence touched the actual stairs and you can see it just makes it look a little bit grander i think i mean not only is it a little bit safer you’re a little bit Less likely to fall off i would probably say but it looks a little bit better if you kind of have these like stop platforms every so often it i think it it just adds a lot of busyness to the actual tree trunk that you wouldn’t have otherwise so instead Of it looking a little bit like just a slender staircase we now have something that just looks a bit better imo what else can we do well you can add windows to the tree they’re non-functional as i haven’t designed a way to get into the tree trunk doesn’t mean that you can’t but Somewhere let’s start from here okay so we’ve got a set of stairs at the base of our tree if we leave a gap of two so we’re not hitting our heads on anything we come to the center of the tree and place a virtual plank in the middle if We place upside down stairs on both sides birch and if we place spruce wood on the left and right sides and we mirror what we have down below which means a sideways facing birchwood playing block on both sides with a virtual plank in the middle you can even destroy the Wood that is in the center and if you place a little bit of glass paint then once again you’re making the tree look a little t little bit less tad boring and on the back of the tree you can do a similar thing so where we have these stairs here This is the highest point if we leave a gap of two and on this third row we take the center we place ourselves the planks we then place upside down birchwood stairs either side and on top of the stairs we place our spruce wood and we place sideways facing birchwood stairs on top And we place virtual planks in the middle and if we then place glass pane in the center then we have a similar effect what we have on the front but it’s kind of a little bit better because it’s not the same variance is key i’d also recommend Grabbing out oak leaves and placing a little bit of leafage around the base of the tree it just again it makes it look a little bit better it makes it look a little bit more enveloped in nature what else can you do you can add detail To the tree so once again making sure that you’re at least two rows away somewhere on the right hand side maybe we’ll pick this fourth row now we’ll pick the third i’m going to make a very small branch it’s very simple just add a couple of rows of birch extending out Extend it up and then out again by a couple of rows if you basically surround the last two blocks that you place using oak leaves it’ll give you a very simple effect like this and of course you can tune it a little bit more as you like you know you can Make it a little bit more varied and make it look a little bit better but the idea is that we have a small branch and we can do the same down below now there’s no stairs down at this portion so we can kind of be a little bit Haphazard with where we place it and it just looks a little bit better it looks like a real tree this is far from what technically speaking what is a tree other than wooden leaves technically this is a real tree however it is man-made or Koala made as it were so we just want to have something that should look a little bit like this and that might that actually kind of looks a little bit goofy to me at the moment but we can always alter it a little bit later on so Now that we have achieved this effect something that i want to do next i don’t quite want to add the ladders because we don’t have the house yet but what we can do now is we can create a platform so directly on top of all of these Spruce woods i want you to place birch planks just like this on top of every single one of them you can fill in the center if you like it it’ll have to be done at some point anyway kind of looks like a space invader a little bit just The outline anyway so i want you to fill this block in with a birchwood plank and then i want you to extend one row forwards on top of this block is where we are going to essentially start the house we won’t need for a long time the oak leaf So i’m going to chuck them away i’m going to grab dark oak doors we will be needing all of these materials actually to be quite honest but for a while we won’t need spruce board so we’ll get rid of that and we’ll grab the oak trap doors Okay on top of this block that kind of like points outwards that we have extended is going to be a dark oak door just like this so i want you to left and right of the dark oak door and this is going to be tricky you’re going to have to build some blocks Around the base of the door you’re going to want to place a layer of birch wood planks that goes all the way around the outside of the door just like this okay what i then want you to do is left and right of the door i want you To place free glass pane like so i want you to extend extend each of the free glass panes backwards like so and then i want you to place birchwood planks on the sides of the glass pane just like this i then want you to extend the birchwood planks upwards by four One two three four one two three four you can do this evenly on both sides at the same time we then want to extend those planks also outwards by four one two three four and also one two three four but here’s the thing we want to do two Things here it looks like handlebars not only do we want to take those fourth blocks and do we want to extend them down but we want to extend those fourth blocks and extend them backwards by 12 rows 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12. and you can Even kind of extend them inwards and join them back on themselves to make kind of large rectangular shapes you don’t have to count out another row of 12 as long as you are rather confident that you did it right the first time but if you’re not and it does happen to all Of us feel free to count out more rows of 12. so now that we have created that shape and you best believe that we’ll be coming back to that later we are going to take the opposite corners on the front and we are going to extend them Downwards like this they want to extend down as far as the glass goes as far as the door goes you see this is the platform underneath the door this is the house where the door is and above it so they’re two completely separate things it’s very easy and i have done this Before by accident it’s very easy to meld the platform and the house together and it will look weird the clap the platform is a very clear different thing than where the house begins so do just make sure that you’ve got that right as i said i’ve i’ve got that wrong before And i’ve made a mess of things so um what do we want to do now so the blocks that we have extended down we want to extend them inwards by one we then want to extend them right by six one two three four five six we want to Extend the sixth row upwards by three one two three and we then want to extend the entire row backwards by ten so all of this one two three four five six seven eight nine ten and we’re going to extend the entire thing we’re not only doing this to the right side But we are doing things somewhat equally so once you’ve extended the build like this we’re going to come to the opposite side we’ll take the block that is outward and it would hit the platform if there were one we’ll extend that backwards by one we’ll Extend it to the left by six one two three four five six we’ll extend it upwards by three one two three and we’ll extend the whole row the vertical row backwards by ten one two three four five six seven eight nine ten just like this so all this entire row front to back Top to bottom extend it backwards like this that will give us as we look at the back of the house you can see we’ve already got a bit of a structure in place which is fantastic what we essentially want to do now is we are going to extend down these two corners Exactly how they are on the front of the build we just want to extend down the two corners of the birch wood areas the butcher plank areas we want to make sure that they are as low as the birch wood planks that we have on the front of the Building do remember although we’ve we’ve gotten to the point where it where we can’t really mess up because we’ve actually got the height proportions right but do just remember that they don’t want to go as low as they don’t want to go below the door they want to Go level with the bottom of the door is what i’m trying to say in a really bad way okay so on the back of the build now we want to connect the bottom of this wall that we extended all the way back because we want to connect the bottom of The wall to the two inward corners that we created you can extend the block that joins to the corners that we extend out you can extend it upwards and you can take the very left side and you can extend it by one two and three like this to be Even and level with the wall to the right we can do the same thing on the opposite side as you might imagine so we’ll take the bottom of this wall we’ll extend it inwards we’ll join all the way up to the top we will then on the Opposite side here dude uh we will then take that row and we’ll place one two three birch wood planks on top so we’ll have something which should look like this it looks like a series of light tables and upside down tables so now that we have done that ladies and Gentlemen what we then have to do is we have to join the two middle parts together and this this is quite easy you see the two middle parts we want to add an extra row of birch in between them and then you just want to join it Together pretty much so one row inwards it is sunk one row inwards that’s the difference we’re going to have the birch wood like this there’s going to be a small window as well by the way just up at the top of the build one row below This top row we’re going to have a whole horizontal window made out of glass pane lower than that though is actually going to be a series of bookcases so we can’t really add any detail in there so now that we’ve done that i actually want to Add detail to the back of the bill because it’s a little bit simpler than the front of the build on the left and right sides of our house i want you to connect the top of the rows together using birchwood stairs i then want you to on the left And right sides create vertical rows of birchwood planks i want you to place oak trap doors on the outside parts of the planks i then want you to place glass pane in the center boom you’ve got a window i want you to do the same on the opposite Side nice and easy to do so simply birchwood stairs across the top add vertical rows of virtual planks inwards add oak trap doors in front of the planks just like this and then we’re going to place glass pane inside of the empty space so what we will end up with is this rather Nice looking set of windows there is also windows in these two parts too so birchwood planks at the base We then want to add a whole vertical row of virtual planks of the left and right sides we only want single strip windows for the middle of this and it’s going to be similar to the front we then want to add two glass pane at the bottom two glass pane at the top A split using virtual planks in the middle as simple as that glass pane at the bottom glass pane at the top we then want to add oakwood oak trap doors left and right of the windows just like this and that’s that’s pretty much it it’s Nice and simple if you want to add a what should i say a bit more of a detailed split between the top and bottom windows we can add birch stairs so if you want you can in between the windows and a split using butch birch stairs i’d recommend ones that place downwards But that’s a completely optional sort of thing if you were going to do that i’d recommend doing it to the tops as well just going from left to right like this perfect and this is what we want to have and it looks pretty good and it looks Way better later once the roof has been installed once we have leaves going all the way around it but for now that is that so we can come to the front and as you might be able to imagine the front isn’t so different from the back it really isn’t it’s actually almost the Same except for a few key details we’re going to start off with the areas here so on the left and right side of the bill we’ll work our way in we’ll add a row of birchwood planks inside of the tall towers we’ll add a row of one two Three birchwood planks as we did on the back we’ll do the same on the front on the left side we’ll add stairs going across the top we’ll add birchwood planks extending inwards from both sides and we’ll place glass pane inside of the middle we will then place Oak trap doors left and right the glass boom same thing as what we did on the back and let’s do the same here on this opposite side we’ll place bird with planks we’ll uh place one two three virtual planks we’ll then my bad will extend the free birchwood Planks upwards and then we’ll use birchwood stairs we will then place virtual planks on the left and right sides like this we’ll place glass pane in the middle and then we will place oak trap doors left and right of the window so we’ll have something which should look like this and i’m quite Happy with the result the two tower portions i’m going to place birchwood planks at the base of them you might be able to remember what’s coming we’re going to place vertical rows of virtual planks on the left and right sides of the two large inward towers we then want to be able to Place glass pane two at the bottom two at the top with a split of birchwood planks in the middle what we will then be able to do is we will be able to place oak trap doors on the sides of the windows and then we Can make a decision on whether or not we want to add the stairs i like the stairs quite a bit so i think that i’m probably going to add them myself but this this is what we have this might be perfectly good for you so that’s Completely up to you it’s looking a bit blocky at the moment isn’t it don’t worry we’re going to sort that out no problem so what we’re going to do i am going to add the stairs in between the windows at the top of the windows it’s almost Unimportant because at the top of these windows i’ll add it anyway we’re actually going to have the roof which will cover the other half of the stairs which almost defeats the purpose of having them uh as a matter of fact i don’t think you’ll be able to see them whatsoever so We’ll just leave it at that anyway we’ll do that anyway um what do we want to have well on top the entrance area here we want to have we it it’s essentially like a a little bit of kind of like a a balcony area so uh it actually wants to sit directly Above we’re gonna place the uh the virtual planks on top of the glass pane although i’m not sure it even belongs on here we’re gonna place the virtual planks on top of the glass pane we’ll fill in the middle of it and then we’ll extend three rows backwards so one Two maybe just two rows backwards actually two rows backwards and then we’ll fill in the wall on the left and right side we want to completely fill this in like this right we want to have a door in the middle just like this so just to give you a Better view of it just like this um what i then want you to do is on the left and right sides i want you to place a row of free virtual planks extending upwards i want you to place let’s use a row of birchwood stairs above the door joining it together Um i’m going to net we are not going to need the doors again to my knowledge we will actually need that fence so we’re going to grab the glass block and we’re going to place glass block left and right of the door on the left and right sides of this We’re going to place a row of virtual planks that extends outwards like this and then we’re going to fill in between whoops my bad fill in between the outward planks in using birch fence and again this might look a little bit silly at the moment but trust me when i tell You it’s going to look way way better we can even make it look better now where we have the windows on the left and right side of the door at the bottom we have oak trap doors these ones i want you to place dark awkward slabs inwards From the trapdoors and i want you to extend the slides one row towards you then if you extend the slabs inwards and upwards evenly on both sides they will eventually reach a middle point like this an apex and as you can see that really makes things look Just in my opinion a whole lot better i really really do like that quite a bit better what can we do from this point onwards ladies and gentlemen there’s actually loads to do but let’s take a second just to admire what we have that looks crazy like that looks like Some sort of like wooden hammer with windows okay i want you to at the very least add and you can go a little bit beyond this because it all all this is right we need to add a platform the platform at least do mention at least wants to cover Underneath our tree house but it would look better if our platform superseded the treehouse if it went further than the tree house i at least want to be able to and that i keep using the word at least because it’s your choice at the end of the day Right i at least want to be able to walk one row around my tree house okay so you can see i’ve kind of added like a little bit of a guideline going all the way around the bottom of the tree house but i at least Want to walk all the way around it i want one entire row uninterrupted being able to walk around the tree house so let’s just make sure that we come using birch that we can at least have one entire row walking around the tree house where we don’t have to do any sort of Jumping or anything like that and that includes the front so just join these virtual planks together like this but here’s the thing if we were to grab the oak leaves and if we were to add oak leaves all the way around the bottom of the windows all the way around the Bottom of the house essentially going all the way around the platform like this would we still be able to walk around it and the answer would be no or at least i can’t in the way that i have added the plans so what are we Going to have to do well we’re going to have to make sure that we can at the very least walk one row around it so we’re going to use our virtual planks we’re going to add an additional row of virtual planks going all the way around the outside at the very least And we will end up with a less than satisfactory shape okay so we’ve kind of got like a big rectangle haven’t we and i don’t like that i want it to be a little bit more curved so what do we have to do i’m going to add one final row Of virtual planks maybe it might not be the final row but i’m going to add yet another row all the way around so we have two rows to walk all the way around the platform and you don’t have to do this whatsoever if you don’t want to this is my personal preference And in adding two entire rows around that platform we are then able to shape the platform a little bit so for instance we have two rows here in front of the door and i’m going to have two rows in front of the door until we have This split in the hedge where the hedge extends inwards we will still have two rows so i’m going to take a row out here and i’m going to extend it to the right and i’m also going to knock the corner off to make the shape a tad more oval On the opposite side i’m going to do the same where the hedge splits in i’m gonna extend i’m gonna dig in and i’m gonna knock the corner off to make it a little bit more oval shaped simple change nice result we want to do the same on the Back or at least i want to do the same on the back so where the hedge goes in i’m going to whoops i’m going to knock out where the header extends inwards i’m going to take the corner out and make it a tad more oval i’m going to do the same On this opposite side and i’ll take the corner out once again and if we were to take a look at it from the top and it takes quite a height to do it and also a little bit of eyesight as well because everything blends in we have the same on The front as we do the back and it wouldn’t even matter if we didn’t so we now have a platform the platform is looking pretty good let’s place a contrast material around the edge of the platform i am going to use dark oak slabs originally i actually used birch Slabs depending upon whether or not you want to contrast if you want to use more birch if you want to use more dark material you can earlier i said that i liked when we were making the staircase i liked the fact that i used a lot of birch In the construction of the staircase that goes all the way around the tree and that’s looking pretty good by the way i like that i’m going to add fence on top of it now the reason that i liked it down below just singularly singularly birch is because i only had spruce For the tree trunk it didn’t really have much contrast material so full on birch seemed like a good choice but up here we have pretty much only birch so that’s why i decided to go with the dark oak wood i don’t know why i’m explaining this in such detail to be quite honest But maybe you can get a bit of an idea of why i decided to do what i did so that’s looking really good as a matter of fact it looks so much more grander like this love it okay what do we want to do i don’t think that we ever need again Glass block it’s going away for a bit i’m gonna get rid of that and i’m gonna grab spruce wood because something that i like is and this is tricky because we don’t actually have um birchwood planks where we need them so i’m going to fill the base of the Platform in inside the base of the platform would have to be filled in at some point or over because the base of the platform is the floor for the lower half of the build i’m not sure how much of the inside of the house you’ve seen Because i haven’t made the intro to this video yet believe it or not i make the intro at the very end of the video in the recording so it’s i know that that’s a little bit weird but that’s how it goes anyway i’m going to completely fill in the Floor that is the platform the house has two separate levels it has a grand staircase in the center with two large sets of stairs it leads on to a second floor which has a bit of a balcony it leads to two bedrooms and it also has some peripheral decorations and storage so That’s why we need a base floor and then we’ll also have a second floor a little bit later on but in adding the base of the platform i’m going to grab some spruce wood what is the purpose of the spruce wood i want to come underneath the platform and i want to add The lack of a better term some supports using spruce wood so on the back right hand corner of the build i’m going to build up a series of spruce wood that kind of extends up and outwards kind of like diagonally and it’s going to connect to The base of the platform when it hits the base of the platform it’s going to go off in aberrant directions that you can’t really predict kind of like in every single way and we’ll have something which should look like that now it’s only a thin bit of Birch it only has to be and it looks quite good let’s do the same thing on the opposite side so on the opposite side we’ll do it a little bit more forwards so we’ll take say the middle block here on this side and we’ll do the Same thing we still want it to go backwards because i i think it looked a little bit weird if it went forwards although feel free to experiment and we have something which looks a little bit like this and that’s great that looks as though the platform is being a Tad bit more supported because it’s a large platform if you add some leaves all the way around the point in which the spruce joins to the base of the platform he’ll look pretty good like this um we want to do the yeah i’ll leave it like that actually on the outer part I’ll do the same thing on this opposite side i’ll add all of these leaves and it’ll look once i’ve finished it’ll look pretty good so you can add leaves underneath it wants to be a little bit random in fashion we’ll just have something which should look like this and there you go It actually looks really really good that way um what’s something else that we can do um once again we’re gonna need a decent amount of these materials but i think for now for now we don’t need the birchwood stairs or the birchwood slabs but what we will need is ladders and lanterns i Want to add a set of ladders that leads all the way up from the top of the platform here or rather from the top of the stairs it leads up into the platform so as you can see you walk around the stairs you climb up the ladders you’re in the house That’s the whole point there is a hole here which you can stick if you so want an oak trap door on which i’ll do very quickly whoop so like this so as soon as you go up to the top you can go out the door or you can go inside it doesn’t matter Let’s get rid of the trapdoor let’s get the door back let’s get the leaves out again what’s something we have to do we have to take the tree trunk so where’s the tree trunk we have to go digging for it a little bit my bad that’s a ladder gun whoops okay so the Tree trunk is we know the shape of it so as soon as we found it it should be quite easy to find the rest of it the tree trunk is right whoops the tree trunk is right here why is that important well i want you to Extend the back part of the tree trunk upwards like this right i want you to extend it upwards and through the top of the house like this okay up and through the top of the house it’s very important that we extend some part of the tree trunk upwards i Want you to extend it a little bit further than you think you might have to so something like that at least make sure that it’s what like one two three four five let’s make it at least five rows coming out the top of the house like this right Perfect it’s actually going to be very important that tree trunk later on but for now we now want to tackle the roofs so make sure the tree trunks sticking out the top we can tackle the roofs now we’ll do the two outer roofs the two outer roofs the ones on the left And right sides of the house are made out of dark oak slabs the dark oak slabs are placed one row above or half a row above the top parts of the house so you can see the exposed stairs we extend the darkhook slabs inwards and upwards inwards and upwards inwards and upwards I shouldn’t have to keep saying that but i do um until eventually they will join together so you do the same on the front the same on the back you join them you extend them both inwards and upwards until they eventually reach the middle point here What you can then do is fill the side of the roof in that is now going to be exposed using virtual planks like this and you can see where this roof is going to go you can see that all of the oaks dark slabs will extend towards the Center like this you can see the outline of the roof that’s nice and simple let’s do the same on the opposite side so we’re just going to be adding outlines right now ladies and gentlemen we’re going to add outlines to the roofs we’ll be filling in any empty gaps that we Have we’ll do all of the roofs in tandem later on um we just want the outlines in place because that will allow us to move on to a big important part of this so remember the dark oak slabs are placed on the outer parts of the top Of the house we have birchwood planks placed underneath the roof on the left and right sides like this and we just want to have the outlines of the roof in place so you can see how the left and right sides of the house go together right i mean that’s hopefully quite Quite evident quite easy when it comes to the middle part of the roof it’s actually a little bit different there is a long sweeping horizontal roof that starts on the right hand side here just above these windows we want to place a row of horizontal dark oak slabs Across the entire top of the front middle part of the house like this the dark oak slabs are going to extend up and inwards just exactly how they do on these sides the apex is actually the same so if you can see the middle part of the roof on The side here you can actually continue building without having to go to the back and you can just start building down but originally we’d just take the top of the back middle part of the house we’d extend it outwards and we’d extend it like um up and in just like this And we want to extend it across this back of the house just like so and we just want to extend it up and in up and in opening you guys get the idea it wants to be equal to the opposite side so that’s as high as we went higher We may have went higher hang on so let’s extend it from this side i think we might have done a little bit of a boo-boo maybe yeah there we go so there we go there we are that’s perfect so you can see that’s that’s generally what the middle part of The house looks like right so it’s a similar thing to what we have on the sides except it starts across the top here but a big difference that i want in the middle part of the roof is you see this little roof that we have down below here i want the same thing Here so like the little roof that we have above that entrance i want to copy the shape of the roof that we have down below so you can literally just look down and you can mark its position and you can apply it to the top here so like you can Mark this roof’s position you can kind of like sit down below you extend outwards you make the same triangular shape like this and we then want to and then we just have like a middle part of the roof kind of like this um then the well they’re obviously not Planks are they my bad um then what we can do is we can take are they perfect so what we can then do is we can take the dark oak planks and we can extend them backwards you’ll be able to see how the dark oak slabs and the Planks will connect to the tree like this and that’s how it’s going to look i i think that that looks pretty good and you can see that the um birch the dark oak planks will also connect as well but here’s something that i’m actually missing here’s something where I actually messed up ever so slightly is actually no you know what it’s not messed up at all i’ll i’ll explain why so why don’t we start off by joining all of the dark oak planks together so left to right right to left we’ll join all of the dark oak planks together Like this and the dark oak planks here we go so here we’ll join all of the dark oak planks left to right right to left we’ll join them all together and this is going to give us the skeleton of the roof or we will then have to do Later on i’ll probably not do it i’m recording to be quite honest i’ll probably um do it by myself a little bit later but you can see that that gives us a a good layout of the roof what we can then do is we can take this row of birch Of spruce wood and we can extend it so you know the shape of the tree down below this is the back row of the tree so you need to have a row of free spruce on the left three spruce on the right and it joins together as you know in the middle like This and if you place it like this you know that that’s the back row it should flow as if it were from the bottom of the tree if you can see the tree trunk you can see how it’s in roughly the very same position that is at the top And we just want to extend these spruce boards upwards so it we want to give the appearance that the spruce wood has extended through the top of the house so you’re going to want to extend the spruce wood down to join all of the dark oak planks like this so it wants to Join and it wants to extend down and later on you’ll be able to imagine that when we’re adding all of the dark oak slabs together and um it seems as though that we would have spruce wood here and here as well you’ll be able to see that when we’re adding All of the dark oak slabs and such like this that it will just join in perfectly to the side the trunk so like that and what we then want to do is we want to make sure that the very tippity top the top part here Of the tree trunk we want to make sure that we have three rows and we’ve actually done it perfectly so we have half a row where we have this middle row of roof here half a row we want to leave an entire gap we want to dig this out And we want to place a glass pane on top of the tree trunk we are going to add a series of leaves so just kind of like a circle of leaves like this just like that that’s looking pretty good we’ve already got the planks placed In the middle part of the roof i want to place the planks on the sides of the roof as well um as i don’t think i even explained it but i explained this every single time every single time i use this roof i explain this is Um in these particular roofs that i like to use where we use slabs just ascending upwards in and up and they eventually join together and such um every other block is going to be a plank as is the nature of slabs slabs you know two slabs Turn into a singular plank a whole plank a whole block so you can use planks for half of the roof and you can see where we’re just going to have to fit in the slams later on what you’ll also see is what now that’s that’s tricky to do you’ll also Be able to see from the inside roof here um where we have the birch wood plank so the virtual planks just want to be slotted in where you would be able to see inside the house so where there is empty space you’re going to want to do The same down below but that that’s more so after you’ve finished the roof but you can tell in some places where you would actually have that problem um just in those two places and the slabs would connect but let’s we’ve already done that so let’s come to this opposite side We’ll fill in just underneath the roof at the top here before we add in any planks because it will be a little bit easier if you want to save yourself a little bit of work later what you could do you could just fill just this area in With birchwood planks and then you won’t have to do any spot filling in later on and we can add the the dark oak planks here extending from the outer points to the in points here to the center of the house and then that’s that’s more than half of the roof Actually done once you have done the outside once you’ve added in the planks as i said all you would have to do is add in these slabs so i’m quite happy just leaving it like that for the moment because we have a much bigger deal on our hands We have the leaves at the top of the tree here’s here’s the thing though it’s actually quite easy to do it’s just tiresome we have the leaves up at the top of the tree this is the starting point for the leaves you can make it higher if you Want but just on directly on top of the spruce that we’ve got i’m quite happy you want to place a row of leaves that is at least and again that there’s that word again at least as big as the platform do they have to be perfect nope that that’s the whole point Of leaves they don’t have to be perfect at all can they can they be much bigger than the platform yes do they have to really fit the shape of the platform not really but it does look a little bit better if you do um what else like uh like That that you know what that’s actually pretty much it you want to add a row of leads that goes all the way around the outside of the platform at the very least wants to be a little bit bigger than the platform and it will preferably will be a similar Sort of shape to the platform so a sim similar sort of ovalish shape kind of like this so it’s easiest to take look from the top our leaves have clearly superseded the platform perfect that’s going to be the base level of leaves that could really do with being Filled in we’re not going to do it right now i would recommend you take these leaves and you add a row of leaves that is one row inwards roughly roughly i do mean roughly one row inwards and one row upwards in relation to the previous row of leads I would also make sure that the leaves aren’t perfect so when i say roughly one row inwards roughly one row upwards i mean that in some places you’re going to want to say place leaves directly on top of the leaves in some places you’re going to want to extend inwards in some places You’re really going to want to extend inwards and once this has all been led once we have added layers of leaves so we know what the ones below look like in relation to the top we won’t have any gaps in our building you will get a really good effect it Will look very natural if you don’t want a natural look simply stack the leaves on top and a few rows extending in and up you’ll be completely fine i think that this is the way to do it something similar to this right so you can see how the leaves aren’t even Whatsoever we’ve got a layer above i’d recommend once you’ve done that you’re going to have to prune the tree a little bit as well so you’re going to want to add some below some above kind of like this you’re going to want to knock some like you’ll add layers on it like this Probably and then you might want to knock a few out like you’ll you’ll really want to add layers to it it’s layers upon layers upon layers of leaves and that you can extend them even further outwards like this it it it takes a lot of work to do which is why We’re probably not going to be doing much of this on the recording and i’ve already done it quite quite to my satisfaction one time so i’m just showing you the technique mainly but again stacking layers upon layers of leaves one row above one row inwards roughly Um like as you add more layers of leaves you can see here like it adds the possibility of altering a little bit like you can add like underneath as well which we’ll be moving on to later a little bit underneath once these have all been built up like you’ll be able to Add leaves underneath you’ll be able to add like shapes kind of like this right and you can have and and it just looks way more natural you can see where we have kind of like the disc on the left and right whereas like um once you build it up it’s It really does take on like a complete shape and life as a life of its own it’s it’s a lot better once you’ve got more layers you don’t need too many layers though um how many layers would i recommend four five something like that you know In total so what if we we’ve already got three we would really only have to i’d say like one more um as you’re going around you’re just going to want to like cherry pick things a little bit not that this cherries in here but you guys get the Idea you’re going to want to as you as you just kind of like work your way around the tree you’re going to very easily be able to just see what spots might look a little bit better um a little bit more raised up what spots look a little bit kind of like this Right so as i’ve just been doing it rather naturally just kind of like building up like ridges and taking blocks out and some blocks come a little bit further forward than others the more random it looks the more like the more naturally generated it looks the more Natural it would look it’s actually in the in exactly what i just said but you can see that that looks just a little bit better doesn’t it and like i said earlier you can add leaves underneath the tree too so let’s say like let’s say that somewhere underneath the middle Right side of the tree we want to add so this would be where the bottom of the tree is we want to add a patch of leaves that just kind of like extends underneath you’re probably going to want to do some of these so these leaves will be underneath the tree line Like this and they’ll just kind of like dangle under and it will just look more natural so you can see where we’ve kind of got the level of the tree and you can see where those extend down we want to do that throughout the bottom of the tree As well so back there and here and back here there and everywhere you want to eventually call it you’ll eventually want to say oh i guess here’s the top of my tree this layer is going to be my personal top um all you eventually do is like i said i Mean i i can’t hop on this too much longer because i’ve kind of said everything that needs to be said eventually once you’ve finished shrinking and shrinking and adding layers underneath to the sides on top once you’ve eventually done that you’ll probably hopefully be satisfied at some Point and you want to put a top on these on top of this and all you’ll have to do is add one final layer to the top of the tree or fill one layer of it in and this is going to be my final layer and this All you’ll have to do is just fill the center of it in and then that will be the top of the tree you want to make sure that the bottom of your tree is filled in if you want to drive yourself crazy which you can you can fill the Middle of it in to give a more dense leaf structure but like i said that would then be filled in you can kind of see the shape you can see how it’s built up i’ll also be adding lights underneath i have to fill the roof in and ladies and gentlemen we’ve actually Reached the point right here where i’ve showed you how to make the entire house all we have to do is get that roof filled in using dark oak slab site is the only thing left we have to fill the leaves and we have to build up layers But that is going to take a long long long long time i’ve got to do that and then i’m going to add some hanging lanterns underneath the leaves as well and then that will be it maybe some lanterns kind of dispersed around the platforms too i’m going to do All of that off recording i’m going to show you what it looks like and hopefully you guys will enjoy taking what look at it once it’s been fully completed so let’s do it so this is what your house will look like once it has been 100 Fully completed as you can see there are a couple of changes number one we have fully filled in those roots those rooms are looking fantastic number two we have added a lot of leaves to the build you can see there is now a lot of underleaf and we have also added hanging lanterns Those are basically just made out of birch fence and the actual lantern blocks as you can see and i’m very happy with how the leafs have turned out i’m happy with how this entire build has turned out i think that this is awesome this is a huge wooden Survival treehouse mansion and not only have i done the outside for you but i’ve also done the inside for you so the inside here you can see we enter the house into a huge lobby area we have two sets of stairs leading onto the second floor we have enchantment libraries we Have uh crafting we have furnaces we have storage the house is split in a few different ways we have a brewing room here to the left um we have a general crafting area here on the right with all sorts of different furnaces smokers blast furnaces um all the way up on the Second level we have uh we have some armor storage we have general storage we have a nice decorated a nice decorated second floor we have more storage more furnaces we have two separate bedrooms they’re just mirrors each other we have one on the left which has just nice little general um use Items and blocks in it and we have the
