Minecraft Tutorial | How to make secret rooms using paintings

Hey everyone alex plays here bringing you guys a little minecraft video today on how to make a secret entrance using a painting um i know that this one’s really popular but a lot of people actually don’t know how to do it so i’m gonna make this little tutorial

So i built this house here as a model home um it doesn’t look like there’s anything secret around it nothing out of the ordinary besides maybe that pig but nothing else so uh here it says alex plays house um you come in and uh there’s this little couch thingy

You know off the bat you see a lot of paintings so people don’t get suspicious uh there’s nothing here nothing here so i want you guys to guess which painting right now in the comments section without looking don’t cheat which painting it’s gonna be is it gonna be painting one

Painting two painting three painting four painting five painting six painting seven you guys can guess which painting it’s gonna be i’ll give you guys like five seconds all right so uh i did everything else to try to make it as homey as i could give it a nice feeling

But this is the painting so painting number four so you come down here and boom get your little secret chest and stuff um so i’m gonna show you guys how you build this in a smaller house that i’m going to build right here um i’m gonna build it right here actually so

Let’s say i’m gonna build a small house right here that’s like uh like this let’s make it four by four actually let’s make it four four by five just so i can have an actual door oh hello spider okay let’s make it five by five actually just because 4×4 is pretty small so

We’re gonna have that um i haven’t included a door here although you probably will need a door um sorry so it’s just gonna be a little 5×5 pops obviously you can build it as big as you want for example my house you can do this in

A huge mansion you can do it anywhere really um trying to make it as realistic looking not anything suspicious going on in the house as possible so i’m gonna do this little thingy here there’s a little roof for it um there we go so we have our little house

Next you’re going to want to add another side of blocks to the house so that’s going to come out to two more just two and add two more to any side and you obviously whatever you do to the other side to one side you gotta do the other to make it look even

So now you’re gonna come in here and we’re gonna need to light this up so i’m gonna look for a torch quickly all right let’s take 64 just why not all right now we have this so we have our little house thingy here you’re going to put a

Put some paintings up you know all around the house but then one of your paintings is let’s let’s make this one smaller one of your paintings is going to be a well let’s see if we can get a four oh whoops oh we should have gotten that four somewhere else let’s see

Oh my gosh it could be this hard to get a four oh wow totally failed there we go all right um let’s put a little bit more paintings and let’s put a window here just to make it look a little bit more uh realistic so we have the painting there

Obviously if you walk into it now it’s not gonna work so what you’re gonna do is you’re going to find one of the paintings that and i think it’s right here actually and you’re going to take out your sign you’re going to delete the top block and put a side right there

Just like that and then you do the same to the second one delete and place a sign you’re going to do it really quickly or else the painting’s gonna get deleted you can also do this with a two as i did with the other one but um then you’re going to just start

Taking down some blocks like this and um so we’re gonna put a glas a grass block right on top to make it look like there’s nothing even there so if you walked into the house right now you would see nothing like this but you could walk right through here all right this part

I think is going to be covered with um let’s see oh no you have to actually make a two drop so that way you can cover it and it’s gonna go really good like that so you can put wood here to make it even look more realistic

So you put two blocks of wood right there that way you can drop straight down um now you have that built obviously you can find your entrance here you can build your own little secret room down here you know put your chest or whatever you can even make a bigger house

Down there um furnish the house make it look realistic but just to put on the little finishing touch i’m gonna put a door on here let’s take a jungle door because why not and um there we go so here is our secret house nothing out of the ordinary
