Minecraft Tutorial | mega Farm Tower 1.18 | storage system

Hey everyone this is ken and today we’re gonna be doing a tutorial guys on a brand new farm tower that could support wheat carrots potatoes and bee roots plus this thing works on java and bedrock so i got everybody covered so hopefully no complaints in the comments

Now at this point guys you literally make this any size you want the height is infinite and hell has a self-sorting storage system plus an overflow protection system so you really have a lot of safety features with this and a lot of sorting features now let’s put this bad boy back to the

Default texture pack as you can see now right here in the front guys you’re gonna notice we have tons of storage right in front of us and all that gets sorted out like so you can really set that up the way you want to and on each

Side we have a button that activates the system so if you want to activate it from the left to right you have options now we’re using here’s a road dispensers to dispense some water and that water flow is going to go and wipe out all the

Crops and send it in this back and forth pattern see that’s why it allows you to make this any size you want without having to worry about using so many resources and the cool thing here guys it goes right here into front into these hoppers giving a nice awesome visual effect

Plus what we’re using in these hoppers is a double hopper setup to allow it to take in the items twice as fast and of course that all gets sorted out now back here guys we’re also using composters on top of hoppers we do slag up to 75 which is a cool feature

And to kind of eliminate that overflow guys we’re using a cultural lava but i’m going to show you two different styles to set that up now this point pause the video you’re going to need a 12 by 12 spacing once you have that all set up guys let’s

Jump right into it now right here in the front part guys in this kind of gray area and that’s where the storage system is going to be at so what you want to do is place your chest right here it’s going to be about two blocks from

The side and two one block from the front now at this point pause the video now you want to set up your chest as big as you want or as small as you want to really fit your needs fantastic now once you have that all set

Up guys to your kind of specific height and so forth you’re going to place a hopper behind each chest now once you’ve done that guys you’re going to place a barrel right on top or if you want to you can even place a chest just make sure they don’t connect

But for the tutorial guys we’re going to place a barrel and once you have that set up guys make sure you place a hopper going towards each barrel like so perfect now this point guys when i set up the sorting you’ll place three blocks right across in the middle place the

Block there and two more right behind it and in the middle also place one right there and break the one in the middle sound a little confusing but i hope you guys kind of got the gist of it now right here you can make sure you place a repeater going forward

Then you place your redstone torch right underneath perfect then the comparator on top and three pieces of redstone dust fantastic now it’s very important guys make sure you have that rest on torch otherwise your items when you intend to sort them out are going to flow right

Into the chest and straight to the bottom now all you have to simply do guys is repeat the same exact pattern in front of each hopper having to pause the video at this point please do but you should have this look at the end once you’re done then you place a hopper

Going towards each comparator like so and you’re gonna go all the way towards the corner here let me show you where we’re at about right here guys and you’re gonna place four blocks going up and break the three underneath so one two three awesome then you can place a hopper line

From that point extend it forward so you get above these hoppers then you’re gonna place this hopper line in a straight line going back to this side and curve it and bring it to the other side so kind of it’s like a pipe that goes all around you see

So it goes over here then over there and then that way now right here guys you’re gonna place a chest on top of each hopper right across then you can place a hopper forward now to create that double hopper speed you’re going to place a hopper right on top

But this hopper here is going to go forward at the same time so this hopper will go forward and bottom both at the same time you see now once you’ve got that all set up guys you’re going to place a stair right above each chest and create a nice framework

Now i want to show you the same framework i created but um you could really just switch it up guys and make it your own style and just put your flare to it now just for the tutorial purpose guys with this build is a little different you’re going to break these blocks right

Across and wrap it right around to the other side and simply add a straight line of rest on dust from one end to the other now here guys what i did i added some spruce wood on each corner any button just to represent the you know the

Activation of the system and if you want to add some redstone lamps it really gives that extra flare and really makes it look nice now with this build guys you’re gonna have to be designing and decorating all at the same time now what i did here was added some

Pillars on both ends to really accentuate the structure of it all and added some blocks right here on the side had some upside down stairs some stone right above it and some stairs right above just to simply cover up the hoppers but also make the whole thing look amazingly nice now

Guys go right here to the back guys we just got to fix this small little correction just break this redstone dust and simply add it right across underneath the hoppers that was it that was the major correction now you’re gonna go one two break that block add a repeater going forward

Then you’re gonna add two pieces of redstone dust and a straight line of comparators going forward so you’re gonna add about five comparators going towards this direction then you’re going to add a block with a rest of dust a repeater going towards that direction with a block in front of it and another

Set of comparators going towards this direction what we have here is called the comparator clock then you’re going to add a wrestling torch with a block another restaurant torch another block and at this point you’re just going to leave it like that for now now let’s start talking about

The overflow protection all right you’re going to break that block with the hopper lines at add a dropper going downwards then you’re going to add a block here and one above it break the one underneath add a block on the side make sure it’s a glass block so it doesn’t

Break or inter interfere with the rest of dust you’re really just creating a little pouch area just to place your lava now if you don’t want to use this method you also use the cauldron method by simply just adding the lava source directly into the cauldron see

So when the dropper shoots the item directly inside it just make sure the dropper is facing downwards it actually eliminates the item now for both designs both same way add three blocks right across your block on each corner comparator going forward with a redstone torch right on top of the block with a

Block on top another block on the side then you’re gonna add some redstone dust on top of the block at this point you’re gonna get your observer place it right in front of the redstone dust with a block right behind it and a wrestling dust on top of the

Dropper with another observer block in the opposite direction like so okay perfect now at this point guys starting from here from that second hopper add eight blocks of dirt right across and another eight like so so you should have a eight by eight spacing and you’re gonna fill this entire area up

So once we have that eight by eight guys it’s perfect that’s the only part that’s gonna be eight by eight you’re gonna add two blocks right here one two and add a block on the third one that’s gonna be the roofing to the second floor now of course guys

Just expand this right across now unlike the 8×8 guys you’re gonna have to leave a space right here okay in the back end so it should be eight by seven on this top area then you’re gonna fill this whole area up with dirt like so now once you’ve done that guys you’re

Gonna add some blocks on the side on this first layer then you’re gonna count one two three four and on the fifth one you’re gonna add a stair right there you’re gonna add a water source inside then you’re gonna repeat the same exact design that we did on this side as well

So add your roblox like so and you’re stare right there you’re simply replicating what we just did on one side to the other side then you’re going to cover this up with a block of your choice i’m going to use glass blocks but you can use any block you want right across perfect

Now one block here guys you’re gonna leave that space open so place two glass blocks there leave a space and that spacing is gonna be for the doors you come in and out with no problems now on the second floor you’re just gonna extend this block right across

And another block right on top of it and at that point guys simply replicate what we just did on this floor to that floor now guys you’re going to need a lot of scaffolding for this make sure you use some form of scaffolding or even dirt blocks itself whatever you want to use

Is going to be a high you just want to fall and die and lose all your items the worst thing now you definitely want to add some lighting i use some jack-o’-lanterns they’re super easy to make especially if you have a pumpkin farm but you can use

Any form of lighting that you want to use just make sure you add some lighting underneath here so that the plants don’t pop up when there’s low light levels now we definitely want to increase well extend these pillars straight up now once you extend it on both sides

Right over here guys you can either use a fence or even a glass pane or any kind of uh cobblestone wall then you’re gonna add a straight line well at this point i like to use glass but you’re gonna add a wall of glass blocks going upwards

Now we’re going to repeat the same layout on this side to the one above it so simply replicate that on this side as well and i’ll show you when we start doing the differences now you definitely at one point want to start adding some ladders

To allow you to go up and down these layers because the higher you get the more dangerous it gets because you really don’t want to fall and die and you really don’t get frustrated building this now with that whole stair thing you definitely want to add a pressure plate

Here and make sure the stairs on the inside of the wall so none of the items fall in that little spacing okay then what i did was i added some extra stairs on the edge here just to give it that extra detail see it really makes it looks nice and it

Gives you a little extra room to walk on and i simply replicated that same style on this side as well now once you’ve done that you can do the same exact thing here guys but you want the let me show you how the back and forth pattern goes you’re going to place

A block right here two blocks here a third one like so and extended one back now then you’re gonna extend the seven in total leaving this space right here so like i said guys there should be a total of seven blocks long from that edge opening to the front end

And of course fill this hole up guys so you should have a seven by eight spacing now make sure when you finish your floors it’s in odd numbers okay so three five seven you get the drift because you want remember this opens here on the even

Numbers you want the odd numbers to be on this part okay that’s where the water dispenser will push everything forward okay then it goes in this kind of back and forth you really get the idea so just make sure when you’re building these layers it’s in our numbers

Now for the back part here we’re going to make this about three high throw three layers in total so it’s our numbers right over here guys gonna add a row of dispensers and you’re gonna start creating well use scaffolding when doing this you’re going to create that torch and block tower all

The way up okay so right when you get to the top right here guys it doesn’t matter if it’s a torch or a restroom dust just add an observer block to pick up a signal then a roll blocks like so and a straight line of rest of dust and that’s it

And of course add one bucket of water in each dispenser you’ll need a total of eight buckets now time to decorate and really cover up these columns like i said guys with this build it’s not like your regular one you’re gonna really have to incorporate your designing and decorating as far as

Style with this whole build so what i did was i just simply cover up this torch tower with a 3×3 stone beam and i replicated that on both sides to really create this nice foundational look now at this point you could simply cover up this whole area here starting from there

And just bring a straight wall from top to bottom it’s really your choice but what i did was i added a block right here at some stairs upside down from that point some blocks right above it stairs right on top of it and just simply added my own simple flares

Perfect now once you’ve figured out how you want to design these guys i also have a world download in the description if you want to check this out um just simply add some more stairs and cover up the siding with some blocks of your choice now to set up the sorting system is

Pretty simple all you have to do guys is go inside place one piece of item in the last four slots and 42 of the actual um carrot potato or beet or whatever you’re using for your farm in that first slot now for the roofing these are just some

Roofing ideas guys i simply added some stairs make sure to use some copper rods if you’re using wood it prevents lightning strikes from damaging or causing a fire on top of your roof i mean they’re so useful oh my god especially when it rains in minecraft it really saves the day

Now the fun part guys all you have to do now is simply just start planting turn the dirt into farmland and plan everything you want to use it for you use it for one item particular or you can use it for multiple different items like we just
