Minecraft ULTIMATE Underwater Survival House Tutorial (How to Build)

Hey guys what is up the new Kiba steer welcome to my ultimate underwater Survival house tutorial so I really like the way this build turned out I’m not sure why these trap doors are missing but it’s a really cool house it’s got like a little garden underwater garden

Top which we can I use bonemeal to grow things underwater now which is really cool but this is the exterior of the build definitely happy with how it turned out but let’s get to the inside real quick so stepping into the base we’ve definitely filled the space as

Much as I can by we I mean I definitely filled the space as much as I can it’s got tons of chests storage in here it’s got a really cool bedroom a nice little observation deck area for you to look out underwater and down here on this the

Floor below we actually used a few 1.14 blocks we got a stone cutter we got a blast furnace which is mostly covered up but we’ve got a little guest bed over here and a few chests that open as well as a brewing area we have some barrel

Storage obviously tons of lanterns I had fun with that and some more chests storage as well as furnace area down here so if you guys want to learn how to build this entire thing block by block step by step stick around for the video and yeah let’s get started alright so

For your underwater survival house you’re gonna need to find the materials follow my hotbar below now it’s recommended to get in and out of this base that you drill somewhere on land and go under the ground and then come up where you want to build you could put a

Trapdoor on the top like if you do a little hole like this and then they get all the water out of there and whatnot you can just sort of build from down in there now the space is pretty simple to do it’s gonna start off just by placing

Two cobblestone pillars that are two blocks high two blocks apart just like that and then you’re gonna be filling in the middle with glass and then you’re gonna be going up one more block like this for a total of three then you’re gonna top this off with a little bit of

Slabs we’re gonna be doing the same thing right here so as you can see it just sort of intersects and just sort of connects like this so we’re gonna be doing that same sort of pattern with just two blocks space and then three of them and then the slabs on the top and

Then of course that stone brick in the middle right here so I’m finally on 1.14 I have shaders installed which is really cool but for now I’m not going to be using those blocks just because this build was designed in 1.13 so we’re going to be doing another two

Blocks space like this and there’s going to be a total of two modules on this side so you can go ahead and just sort of build those out now on the edge here it’s something a little bit different it’s actually going to be last dome sort of thing just so that you

Can see throughout your underwater world I think it’s most important to do that on underwater builds just because it’s kind of nice to look out around the school Oh stone I have placed here is purely for lighting because I know it does get dark but don’t worry you don’t

Have to have the glowstone right there so as you can see we have a nice frame little spooky we have a nice frame for the house we’re gonna be putting a whole whole blocks in between them just like this I’m sorry I’ve just someone so much caffeine like mine is racing faster than

My brain and we’re gonna be putting whole blocks in all of that area right there now if I do yes you’re gonna be putting them all the way up to the edge right here now on top of these blocks were actually going to be placing gravel

Now hear me out you may think me Oh gravel and I love the new texture of gravel actually looks super cool I think it’s this is the faithful 1.14 so everything sort of looks like the new texture just doubled in resolution so that is gravel I know it looks like

Andesite or something from the old update but the new textures I really like them I’m a fan I’m a fan I’m just gonna put these trapdoors all the way around but it’s really cool you can use trapdoors underwater and now the really cool thing is you can actually take a

Bone meal and if you wanted to you could just put bone meal up here and just sort of grow your stuff I’m not gonna be doing it exactly I’m not gonna be doing it exactly like this I’m actually gonna be putting a little bit of kelp in here

As well as some glowstone blocks so I’m gonna go ahead and remove the bone meal but if you just want to use the seaweed like that it’s perfect but I’m just gonna be putting a few blocks of glowstone up top it doesn’t really matter where they are but it helps it

Look a little bit better I think you can definitely just add seaweed really wherever you want or kelp I guess is its called and just sort of randomly put it and it’ll look cool right it’s like a little garden on top of your house an underwater garden I thought that was one

My favorite parts the build honestly now over here we’re gonna be doing something similar but we’re going to be building a little bit of a dome so we’re gonna build up these blocks right here we are then going to fill in these two right here and then these two as well

I’m just gonna put the glowstone back so that you can see and we’re just going to be building these up to be a total of three hi this is going to be your little viewing area no no I felt like it was a nice addition to the build we’re gonna

Be putting whole blocks in these areas right here and then on top of that we’re just going to be doing some slabs just like that and we’re actually gonna extend those whole blocks out okay so we have the actual house built hopefully when you were building it on the inside

You had some sponge or something if you don’t have sponge what I would recommend doing is taking gravel or sand and just sort of filling up the entire thing hopefully you can breathe long enough to do it but all you have to do really to

Get in and out of the base is I’ll show you in a second but um just for this tutorial sake gonna take some sponge and just make this happen a little bit quicker okay now I don’t know can you get sponge and survive oh can you get sponge and

Survival because I really don’t know I really don’t know but let me know in the comments if you can because I really I have no clue if you can but we’re gonna go ahead and light up this area we’re gonna be using an oak plank floor now

What I was trying to say is that to get in and out of the space a lot of my old under underwater builds didn’t really have an entrance which is kind of silly I’ll give you a couple of options here okay option number one looks kind of

Weird so I didn’t do it on my base but you can totally do it all you’d have to do is just add a glass pillar just like this and you’d have to break those trapdoors just like that and obviously fill in these half slabs under them and

Then have this little tube go all the way up to the top and then just build a little bridge over to it and you have a good entrance the only issue is you have to put water at the bottom so you don’t fall too far it died but I think the

Best entryway is going to be one I’m gonna show you now so there’s gonna be a second floor on this earth or an underground florist we’re gonna be breaking out these three blocks right here we’re only gonna break them out as big as the bases so I’m gonna try to get

Torches in here just to sort of light everything up sufficiently love in these new textures I absolutely love them they are so beautiful I think that’s the edge yeah that’s the edge right there so we’re just gonna be digging it back one two three four five six seven just seven

Blocks like that and then you want to drill it out as wide as it is you can sort of check the corners just like that and you’ll sort of see that that’s the now we can just break out this middle area we’ll have a little bit of an

Underground area to add things to the build I’m gonna be doing the same floor material so I’m gonna be putting cobblestone or not cobblestone sorry well we are gonna be using cobblestone on the walls but for now we’re just gonna be using these planks on the floor

This I feel like this is 64 by 64 is this is it one two no this is the 32 by 32 it just looks so textures but I guess the new textures do look a bit different from 1.13 but the faithful Peck updated just by doubling all the textures so

Hopefully you can still tell what everything is but let me know what you think about the new texture pack it’s not even really that it’s new I’ve used this one forever but this is one point one four instead of one point one three just like my survival series so what’s

Cool about this is that on the survival series I actually get to use shaders now so I’m really happy about that I’ll still be using the default texture pack or try to on the survival series I know I messed up and accidentally left the I left faithful one so I do apologize

About that but it’ll be fixed in future episodes I promise so I’m just gonna be filling in all these blogs right here and it should look kind of nice I like the new cobblestone check texture I really do I’m not I wasn’t a huge fan of

When they changed it before but I don’t know this one’s kind of nice so what I was saying about the entrance is down here all I would do is sort of fill out this area like this I would actually you know what I would add a torch back in

Here just so that you can see a little bit better and then I would have your ladder go right here so hear me out guys hear me out yeah we’re just gonna go down a little bit further just like that just to avoid any gravel pitfalls and

Obviously from up here you want to have your ladder just so that you can access all floors of your house but as far as the entrance goes I would recommend you go underground and you drill really far this way like this and you go to where

You’d be above land so I’m just gonna drill it I don’t know how far it’ll be but I’ll just I’ll make sure I go far enough we’ll put it that way so you just want to drill it out like this you can make this little path three high and you

Can fill it in with fancy materials and then all you have to do is just go straight up with ladders and you’ve got a really beautiful entrance it’s not well not a beautiful entrance but it definitely works which is good but you see what I mean

You just sort of drill a path and they come up like this obviously this would be a ladder and then this would be lit up a little bit better but it’s a good way to get in and out of your underwater builds and it’s definitely simpler than

Doing some crazy thing but now you have access to the other part of your base so cool all right let’s get to designing this top floor I did actually forget a few things on the outside so there’s gonna be some slabs just sort of going around like this I felt like this added

A little bit of texture and I don’t know I thought it looked a little bit better than how it did before and then I just put two cobblestone walls on each of these little pillars and definitely adds a little bit more texture of course you’re not gonna be seeing the outside

Of your underwater base too much but I don’t know if you wanted to add those little touches feel free I think they look pretty cool now let’s get to the inside all right cool let’s get to designing this we’ve got not a huge area to work with but I definitely know how

To fill it up and make it look nice so we’re gonna be putting chess right there as well as right next to the wait what how could I do that oh sorry these chests are going to be in a row right here and the nice chests are gonna be a

Row right here I was like I was looking at the picture I had taken I was like neo I don’t think that’s possible dude but we’re gonna be putting trapdoors on this side of the chest hopefully that one doesn’t okay that one opens completely wrong so we’ll put these

Chapters right here we’re gonna be putting trapdoors on this side of the chest right here and then in the corner I think these are double chests let me just verify yes so right here there’s going to be double chests what I do is I take pictures on my phone just so that I

Can make sure everything is perfect for you if I’ve already designed the interior before and then we’re going to be putting I believe the bed is up against the wall I really hope that this I wish this this picture yes this bed is going to be against the

Wall right here there’s going to be two there’s three trapdoors on top just like that and then we’re gonna put a torch here and then we’re going to take a painting we’re just going to throw that down on top now this little area right here I chose to put an armor stand

Completely optional obviously just because it’s aesthetic but if you wanted to add it you can I’m gonna be putting leather armor on it okay cool so next to these blocks right here we’re gonna fill this all in with furnaces we’re gonna put a torch on the

Side of this furnace we’re gonna put a crafting table and then we’re going to do another row of double chests just so that we make sure we have ample chest storage and you may be worried you can’t open these top chests we’ll check this out I’ve got the solution for you so

We’re gonna break this little block above it right here and we’re just going to oh no you flooded the build okay here well we’ll get in here we’re in here you’re gonna want to put these slabs right there so as you can see they may look a little bit funky from the outside

It’s so I think it’s so weird that they still haven’t fixed these little bugs so you actually have to come out here and you have to just like put water on it I don’t know I just think it looks weird that you have to do that we may have to

Change the build a tablet where is my entrance I know it’s around here somewhere let’s get back in but yeah from the inside when you do that it’s not gonna look really any different maybe a little bit from the outside just because of bugs about the game but don’t

Worry about that it’s still gonna be a really cool build so let’s go ahead and take some more slabs and make sure that everything is supposed to be I know I’m kind of destroying my kelp farm up there which is okay well we’ll fix it in a

Moment here but oh okay put it can I get it there we go so let’s go see like that’s just weird to me I just don’t understand why there’s like little bugs like that and they ruin they ruin my my builds because I could fills with water

And maybe that isn’t a bug but I’m gonna grab that water I gotta go to the outside now and make sure it’s nice and fixed so let’s just do that real quick and then put a little bit of sea kelp cool so it does look a little bit funny

But at the same time you’re not gonna see the outside of the building whatsoever so I really wouldn’t fret about it it’s not a big deal so let’s get back into the build and of course you don’t have to put jessep here this is just how I chose to design my

Interior but you really don’t have to do it exactly like me or you don’t have to put those top chests you could just do them a little bit shorter but I like that max chest storage we’re gonna put a pot right here and I forget when you

Crouch now do you see how much like lower you are and what’s cool and 1.13 is that you can take slabs and you can actually crouch and get into spaces like this so I can make like a super tiny compact home and like lick it in that

Cool you still you’d never be able to do that I think it’s fascinating they added that after all these years over here on this little tip got to put a Blue Orchid in here gotta put a Blue Orchid okay so we’re gonna take some stairs and I’m just gonna for time sake

Put two blue orchids because this videos already run a little bit long I think it’s because of those those things trip me up a little bit but yeah that’s how the upstairs looks I quite like it we’re gonna take some carpet just green carpet I already have it in my inventory we’re

Just going to sort of randomly place it in here and it should look something like that pretty cool alright so let’s get to the underground floor and let’s start designing that now keep in mind guys if it does look a little bit weird just really this bothered me more than I

Did I should have tested it board before I told you guys to build all this but all you really have to do it’ll decrease your chests a little bit yeah but at the same time then you don’t have to have that weird outside look and I’m not

Going to go check it because I don’t make all this carpet go away but hey it still looks pretty cool I think it looks good let me know in the comments if you would make the chest one high or too high or too high or three high but let’s

Get under here and this is why I’m telling you not to worry because guys we have ample room to put chests this entire wall right here just to show you show it off I’m just gonna fill this entire thing with chests so I’m gonna put right side up cobblestone right side

Up cobblestone stairs just what the heck I’m so good you know we’ll just put a crafting table there we’re gonna put right-side up stairs all along this wall and then we’re going to break out all the area below it just like this it’s pretty simple and then I’m gonna carry

Over that floor material then we’re gonna carry the wall material behind it hopefully that doesn’t okay you know what this is gonna be hard it’s gonna play some really really quick I don’t like building underwater if you can’t tell that’s why I never do underwater builds just because like they frustrate

Me so much just because of how the water physics and Minecraft work now they they said they updated it and they made it better yeah whatever I it’s still not too great like I don’t think it’s too great but that’s just my personal opinion we’re gonna put some furnaces right here

Just because I feel like we should have some more but let me go check that yeah see so there’s a little bit of things that fell but I really wouldn’t worry about it just make sure that when you’re building it you may have to go outside again and fix things put back

Which where’s the entrance I always lose it there it is we will all die I’m not gonna cut it just kind of fun to go through this little thing but yes so we’re in the bottom floor we have tons of chests storage I feel like it’s only

Necessary that if I’m gonna call this an ultimate survival underwater house that we have a little bit of brewing so I’m a huge fan okay good that didn’t mess up I’m a huge fan of these new textures I really like the way they look now keep

In mind you may think that this texture pack isn’t default but I promise then all the new textures and minecraft were changed and all faithful does the whole team and the community members that work on it bless their souls all they do is essentially double the textures and add

A few touches here and there where it’s needed but they don’t really change the core look so the new update will be looking like this for you just without the double textures but I’m gonna be putting cauldrons or no sorry nether weren’t right there now we’re gonna keep

Ticket cauldron I’m gonna fill it with water and we’re gonna be placing it right here you want to make sure the floor material and the wall material is behind or changed now keep in mind you’re gonna have to do things like this and you’re gonna have to go outside and

Fix it which frustrates me but you know it’s not that big of a deal I really in the grand scheme of things but we’re gonna put a cauldron right here fill it with water which is funny that we’re underwater take your tripwire hook I also have my

Tick speed on really high so if you just watch these things go so fast but that doesn’t happen in default minecraft I only do that because I think it looks good we’ll take some stairs made of stone brick place one right there and then just put our brewing stand right here

Now because of this little area under here you can definitely put a little secret chest and just store your brewing materials under there something like that and then there’s a little area up top and I think that’d look nice and pretty for painting if you wanted to

Have a guest bed down here you could definitely do a little nook and have a little bed like this all you’d have to do is just break out these blocks right here fill everything in with the right materials and then you can have like a little guest bedroom if you want to have

A friend stay over at your minecraft house something like that put a little bed right there well right okay come on come on really there we go okay put a little bed in a nook like that and then you could break these areas blocks right here put stairs stairs and then fill in

All these with cobblestone then you can put a little double chest back here too and then even if you wanted to you could do the same thing right here with those stairs so you just have to make sure that they’re right-side up so that you can open a chest under them and since

We’re in 1.14 look we can grab barrels guys you could add beta-barrel check this is huh this is like a dream for me being able to have 1.14 you could just add chest storage just like right here with barrels and look at that and that’s sick

And you just open them and they’re just like a little chest storage areas and I guess what’s even cooler is that I have lanterns now so mmm yeah these are so cool look you just hang them from like the ceiling look at that isn’t that sick

I think they look so cool you could just put lanterns all over your builds they provide a very high light level so you don’t really have to worry about them not lighting anything up properly and you can hang them from the ceiling so they’re quite nice but I guess I’ll go

Ahead and put a few lanterns here and there just because we have access to them now so why not you can even put a lantern like right there and then you can put it right there too I put so many lanterns in here but hey I think they look super neat

Just I’m playing around with this I don’t know why I’d put a stone cutter in the middle of the floor but you could put a stone cutter there and you could put maybe how is it let how to look at trapdoors I haven’t really played around with these 1.14 blocks I like literally

Just installed it but you could put a stone cutter on the floor there as well as adding some carpet what does what’s another one of those new blocks like a blast furnace I think yeah blast furnace ooh quite nice so you could put a blast furnace down there and then you can put

Like a blast furnace I don’t know you could post stonecutter like right there something I don’t know I think it looks pretty cool off to play around with those and in future videos we’ll actually add them in a proper manner and maybe even design a room for
